Article: An Imminent Turning Point

Dear Eugenia:

I was born at 12:25 a.m. on 6 May 1972. Around January 2000, Saturn will return to its position in my natal chart, Gemini. My question is this: What significant effects, if any, will the fact that Saturn, Mars, and Venus are all in Gemini (and retrograde, I believe) in my natal chart have on my Saturn return? (or, more generally, what types of influences can I expect during my Saturn return?)

Dear M.

First of all your natal Mars and Venus are not situated close enough to your natal Saturn in order to form a conjunction. Therefore, I would be more concerned with your natal Saturn opposite your natal Neptune when your Saturn returns strikes between May and July of next year and January and March of 2002. With your natal Moon well aspected to both your natal Saturn and Neptune however I feel comfortable saying that it shouldn't be too difficult. Usually your Saturn return results in reevaluating your life. It is a turning point for most people. In your case it will be in an area that deals with such things as making a move from one state to another (which I might add should be favorable) or deciding to further your education for self-purpose or for career advancement. It can also be a time that children will play a role in your life or that you could be taken advantage of financially. It is not a time that you should trust just anyone, especially with your money. You may want to reconsider the way you spend your spare time socializing. If you have been overindulgent it may be the time to cut back or quit altogether. Saturn is a disciplinarian, a teacher, we are to learn from our past mistakes and use this period of renewed awareness to sort through the clutter in our lives and move on in a positive and refreshed manner. You shouldn't fight Saturn influences, but instead learn to accept the situation you are in and find the most suitable way to make the changes necessary to better your life.

Article: Destined to be Here?

Hi Eugenia,

My story is very similar to the earlier soul mate story. I was told by astrologers/tarot readers that I would meet a man who will have a link with Mexico and Kingston. He would be dark with dark eyes and be a fantastic cook. I was also informed that I would meet him in my late 20's and it would be love at first sight across a crowded bar. This was not only one person that told me this but four in different locations within the UK. I set my heart on meeting this man and this was my destiny. One Thursday, I was asked to go out for a drink by some friends. I was not in the mood, however, I picked myself up and went out. I felt very intuitive that day and excited knowing something was going to happen. In the pub, I met up with many friends old and new. As I turned to walk towards the bar I could see out of the corner of my eye a man looking at me. I melted! Why me, I thought. He came over to me and looked into my eyes. I knew it was him before we had spoken to each other as immediately we had recognized each other. We sat and talked infatuated by each other for the rest of the evening. He then told me he was working in Kingston and had worked in the armed forces in Mexico for 3 years. Also, he wanted to cook for me! We started to see each other for which I can say this was the best time of my life. He was charming, fun and very exciting. After 2 months of seeing each other he told me that he had to work away and that he needed time. I was devastated, as I had set my heart on traveling with him around the world.Since our conversation, we never spoke again. I have seen him in different pubs and we still keep appearing in the same places at the same time. Maybe I am looking too deeply into this, but I would really appreciate a response to this letter as I feel I have poured my heart out and I am in desperate need for advice. I was born on the 14th August 1973 and he was born on the 28th April 1966. Please help!

I have 2 queries to ask you. Recently I have had a large amount of expense financially due to assisting my family through some difficult times, and now I find that my own finances have dropped, so I would really like to have some luck financially to enable me to at least replace some of this money. You certainly have had a difficult time. Although it isn?t over and you will probably still be burdened by family, friends and just about anyone else who can get you to help out I do feel that you will have better luck with love beginning in October of this year. You match up well to those born under the signs Aries, Gemini, Leo Libra, Sagittarius and early Aquarius. You should be able to make more money through hard work as well as investments, winnings, rebates, being paid back money that?s owed to you, surrenders etc between now and the end of September. Losing a dog is like losing a best friend and my heart goes out to you. I am a huge animal lover and when I lost one of my favorite little friends back in 2000 I was heartbroken. Today I have seven tiny t-cup puppies. Of course you should get yourself another little dog. Picking one up around the 26, 27 or 28 of this month would be a perfect time to do so.
