I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia:
I was born at 12:25 a.m. on 6 May 1972. Around January 2000, Saturn will return to its position in my natal chart, Gemini. My question is this: What significant effects, if any, will the fact that Saturn, Mars, and Venus are all in Gemini (and retrograde, I believe) in my natal chart have on my Saturn return? (or, more generally, what types of influences can I expect during my Saturn return?)

First of all your natal Mars and Venus are not situated close enough to your natal Saturn in order to form a conjunction. Therefore, I would be more concerned with your natal Saturn opposite your natal Neptune when your Saturn returns strikes between May and July of next year and January and March of 2002. With your natal Moon well aspected to both your natal Saturn and Neptune however I feel comfortable saying that it shouldn't be too difficult. Usually your Saturn return results in reevaluating your life. It is a turning point for most people. In your case it will be in an area that deals with such things as making a move from one state to another (which I might add should be favorable) or deciding to further your education for self-purpose or for career advancement. It can also be a time that children will play a role in your life or that you could be taken advantage of financially. It is not a time that you should trust just anyone, especially with your money. You may want to reconsider the way you spend your spare time socializing. If you have been overindulgent it may be the time to cut back or quit altogether. Saturn is a disciplinarian, a teacher, we are to learn from our past mistakes and use this period of renewed awareness to sort through the clutter in our lives and move on in a positive and refreshed manner. You shouldn't fight Saturn influences, but instead learn to accept the situation you are in and find the most suitable way to make the changes necessary to better your life.

I've written to you before, and decided to try again for my question keeps coming back and I would love an explanation. I'm a Pisces (3/9/85, at 1:30 AM) and most of my friends and/or people I attract are fire or air signs. The thing is, most of these people come off as more sensitive than me! Being a Pisces, I thought I was supposed to be the compassionate, emotional type, but I don't feel that I'm that way at all. Can you tell me why I attract so many of the signs that I'm not supposed to get along with? Which signs am I best suited to? thanks for your time! :)

I admire the members who receive replies from you. I have sent you numerous letters and got no reply. I cannot solve the problem in my relationship and that has almost driven me crazy.
I like a male friend who frequently called me in the past. When we were in a group of friends, he always talked with me. At that time, I liked someone else so I didn't show affection to him. But recently, I find that I love him and cannot control myself. I know that he has a girl he likes. I didn't care about this in the past, but now I feel jealous when he talks about her. Every time we go out, we go out with a few friends. I feel unhappy if he does not talk to me or if he talks to someone else. I always become angry because of him. He seems not to care whether I am feeling unhappy or angry. He doesn't call me as frequent as before. Is he selfish? Why did he show concern for me in the past? The comparison was good but the timing might be poor for both of you right now. Instead you should be focusing on school and your future professional direction this year. You and your friend will both be in a good high cycle where love is concerned beginning this time next year and providing that neither one of you is involved with someone else it may be the perfect time to get together. As for now build on the friendship. Don't be obvious about the way you feel. Even better start to pay more attention to some of the other guys you hang out with. Who knows you may just fall in love with someone else. You match up well to those born under the signs Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Aquarius and Pisces. Your chart indicates that you will have plenty of opportunities for love and that you will not end up all alone.
