Article: An Imminent Turning Point

Dear Eugenia:

I was born at 12:25 a.m. on 6 May 1972. Around January 2000, Saturn will return to its position in my natal chart, Gemini. My question is this: What significant effects, if any, will the fact that Saturn, Mars, and Venus are all in Gemini (and retrograde, I believe) in my natal chart have on my Saturn return? (or, more generally, what types of influences can I expect during my Saturn return?)

First of all your natal Mars and Venus are not situated close enough to your natal Saturn in order to form a conjunction. Therefore, I would be more concerned with your natal Saturn opposite your natal Neptune when your Saturn returns strikes between May and July of next year and January and March of 2002. With your natal Moon well aspected to both your natal Saturn and Neptune however I feel comfortable saying that it shouldn't be too difficult. Usually your Saturn return results in reevaluating your life. It is a turning point for most people. In your case it will be in an area that deals with such things as making a move from one state to another (which I might add should be favorable) or deciding to further your education for self-purpose or for career advancement. It can also be a time that children will play a role in your life or that you could be taken advantage of financially. It is not a time that you should trust just anyone, especially with your money. You may want to reconsider the way you spend your spare time socializing. If you have been overindulgent it may be the time to cut back or quit altogether. Saturn is a disciplinarian, a teacher, we are to learn from our past mistakes and use this period of renewed awareness to sort through the clutter in our lives and move on in a positive and refreshed manner. You shouldn't fight Saturn influences, but instead learn to accept the situation you are in and find the most suitable way to make the changes necessary to better your life.

Article: Changing His Ways

Dear Eugenia:

I am in a dilemma right now my best friend has gotten into some trouble with the law, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is going through a tough time being locked up, we have been the best of friends for over 3 years and in the beginning of our friendship we started out in a romantic relationship. Well a lot happened and I guess you could say it wasn't our time, but we continued to develop a strong friendship bond which nothing could destroy, and since he has been locked up I have been to visit him twice. His charge is nothing really major so he won't be in jail long but over the last 16 days in jail he said that his eyes have opened up to so much and he sees things so clearly. He has seen his faults and he is going to change he says that I am all he thinks about and he knows that I am really the only one that has always been there for him and I have stood by him through everything. He asks me if I am going to wait for him. He keeps making remarks about me, him and us, and getting back what we once had. He knows how strongly I feel for him and that I would do anything for him. I would give anything to have back what we once had. My question is should I take him and everything he has said seriously or should I just take it as "Jail talk"

You didn't submit your best friends birth data so I really can't tell you where he's coming from but I do know by your chart that this is not the best time for relationships. That confusion is definitely in an area of your chart that deals with your personal life. You are coming into your Saturn return next year and this will be a period in your life that you reevaluate what you have done up until this point. It is a time of change, turning things around, getting ready to move into your next stage of life. You have time right now to wait and see how sincere your friend is but don't fool yourself. My boyfriend of 3yrs (have been friends for 18yrs) has a sexual hang-up. He needs pictures, from magazines, from mail-order videos xxxrated)and watches mpegs on x-rated web sites. But we never seem to have sex! He never wants to touch me. I have asked him if he is still attracted to me he of course said "Yes!!!" He, however, does not know just how much I know! I was cleaning our bed room one day and found videos for the camcorder under his dresser, I of course thinking they're just home videos, put them in the VCR, much to my surprise, they were of 2 of my neighbors!!! Wow, quite the dilemma. One of the things that stood out loud and clear in your comparison was that his natal Venus really didn't hook up to your chart. That is usually an indication that problems can develop. However, the fact that he does have his natal Moon adversely aspected to his natal Pluto can result in problems that stem from his relationship with females (mother, sister and so on) when he was growing up. He does have his natal Moon aspecting his natal Venus in a favorable way so we know that he does like to have sex. He also has his natal Sun, Mars and Neptune in Scorpio (rules the sexual organs) in an area of his chart that deals with secrets so I'm not surprised that he has kept his fetishes out of sight. I must tell you however that many men and women enjoy looking at pictures, etc., that part isn't uncommon but to not want to have sex with you or touch you is a problem. If you really want to try to make this relationship work at a physical level, open and honest communication regarding one another's sexual likes and dislikes will have to be addressed. Your chart indicates that you have a healthy sexual appetite, therefore I suggest that you will have to begin by making suggestions or buying items that will turn him on. Read him a sexy short story out of an ex-rated magazine when you go to bed or show interest in watching some soft porn videos together. In order to get to the root of his needs and desires you will have to enter his private world. Give it a shot, after all I know that you're attracted to him by the way your natal Venus hooks up to his chart.
