Dear Eugenia:
I was born at 12:25 a.m. on 6 May 1972. Around January 2000, Saturn will return to its position in my natal chart, Gemini. My question is this: What significant effects, if any, will the fact that Saturn, Mars, and Venus are all in Gemini (and retrograde, I believe) in my natal chart have on my Saturn return? (or, more generally, what types of influences can I expect during my Saturn return?)

First of all your natal Mars and Venus are not situated close enough to your natal Saturn in order to form a conjunction. Therefore, I would be more concerned with your natal Saturn opposite your natal Neptune when your Saturn returns strikes between May and July of next year and January and March of 2002. With your natal Moon well aspected to both your natal Saturn and Neptune however I feel comfortable saying that it shouldn't be too difficult. Usually your Saturn return results in reevaluating your life. It is a turning point for most people. In your case it will be in an area that deals with such things as making a move from one state to another (which I might add should be favorable) or deciding to further your education for self-purpose or for career advancement. It can also be a time that children will play a role in your life or that you could be taken advantage of financially. It is not a time that you should trust just anyone, especially with your money. You may want to reconsider the way you spend your spare time socializing. If you have been overindulgent it may be the time to cut back or quit altogether. Saturn is a disciplinarian, a teacher, we are to learn from our past mistakes and use this period of renewed awareness to sort through the clutter in our lives and move on in a positive and refreshed manner. You shouldn't fight Saturn influences, but instead learn to accept the situation you are in and find the most suitable way to make the changes necessary to better your life.

I'm a Pisces born on an Arian cusp on March 19, 1987 at 10:30pm. I'm facing several issues but they all tie in with one main thing, that being my life as a whole. I'm only eighteen years old but I feel like I'm stuck in a rut. I exude no confidence, I lack friends because I'm incapable of trusting people to the fullest extent, I can't keep a job because none of them interest me whatsoever, I can't even manage to repeat my final year in school because I find it difficult to even get up in the morning. I don't know what's going on anymore, I never used to be like this, I had so many friends in the past, and even enjoyed high school at one point but I fail to find happiness in anything I do that doesn't require me being at home, alone, doing solitary things. My past lover and I broke up around five months ago, I thought my feelings for him were going away but lately my feelings for him have come back somewhat. He's a Capricorn born on January 14, 1988, I'm unsure of his birth time. As far as I can tell his interests are directed upon another female, who lives in a different state. Unfortunately I'm unsure of her birth date. A few nights ago I dreamt he died, and it scared me beyond belief. I woke up crying and even went as far as checking the obituaries in the morning. I still have some feeling that there may be a chance for us but I'm unsure. My dreams have been scaring me in general as well. I dream bizarre, disturbing things that make no sense and consequently awake me in the middle of the night feeling uneasy. I don't know if I'm dreaming these things because of my current outlook and feelings in life or not, but either way I just don't know what to expect or look forward to from life anymore. I crave to be happy, to be happy with someone, namely my ex, but I don't know what would happen in that situation. Is there any explanation for this ongoing distress or is it all just in my head?

You have been and are still going through some emotional deception that appears to be playing with your subconscious mind. This is due to transiting Neptune however it is all in the way you handle this transit as to how it manifests itself. In your case you are letting it take over result being bad dreams, lack of confidence, looking back instead of forward and so forth. It also has played havoc where educational pursuits are concerned making you confused as to what you want to do with your life in the future. You don't have a bad chart but you are letting a difficult transit take over and this has to stop. This transit can also be highly creative if put to proper use. Your chart indicates that you should be focusing on your future and that you should be socializing not hiding at home. Your Capricorn ex didn't match up to your chart very well and I have my doubts as to whether that relationship was really any good for you. It could be the reason you have lost your confidence and are feeling so depressed and reclusive. You are in a high cycle until the fall of this year regarding love and romance however this very same transit can also bring a past partner back into your life. I strongly suggest that you look for someone new instead of wasting your time trying to reunite with your Goat. You should be trying to finish your high school if possible between now and the fall by taking night courses or whatever it takes to get the credits you need. College or an apprenticeship should be your goal for the fall if possible or early next year. Your chart is favorable regarding getting out and meeting people and potential lovers. It is vital that you get involved in groups or activities that interest you so that you will meet someone with similar interests. I really would like some advice on how to get ahead in life and to really let myself shine. I seem to always be putting others objectives before my own but feel that I?m shooting myself in the foot and not letting myself reach my best (which I feel could be something great). My two main important queries are with my career and love. I've studied acting through university and just moved countries from Australia to the United Kingdom after graduating. Since then my career path has changed from acting to singing/songwriting and it has really lit a 'flame in my belly'. My main concern is how to get ahead by using my talents and what future trends may be hindering or helping me astrologically.? My second is love, which always seems to be somewhat of a minefield for me - e.g. I like people who don't like me or there is no chance with and keep going back convincing myself there is 'something' there - plus not being able to be myself with them, or friends I care about turn out to like me (and I don't in that way) and in some instances I've surrendered to them to not lose them. The other thing is my sexuality is quite open-minded which is quite confusing in itself.
At the moment I?m in a really positive place feeling like I?m on the verge of something brilliant - but I?m just not sure how I?m going to get there. Motivation hasn't always been my strongest attribute - I'm better at ambition and imagination. Any help Eugenia is greatly appreciated! I was born February 10, 1982, at 8:09 AM.

You are in a high cycle where your career is concerned until the fall of this year so you have no time to waste. You must be approaching the record publishing companies and promoting and performing as much as you can between now and the fall ? and if that means putting in a lot of time and doing freebies so be it. I wouldn?t worry too much about relationships right now. It is apparent that come August you will be in a much better position to meet someone more to your liking. Part of your problem has been the fact that you were born with a Venus Saturn square in your chart in an area that deals with relationships and your status in society with regard to partnerships. This can make it awkward for you to feel at ease with someone during the early stages of your relationship making it difficult to make the kind of impression that will seal the deal. I believe that you are coming into your own in that regard and during the latter part of this year and most of next you will meet people who are more inclined to see you for whom you are and recognize your talents as well. During that period you should be able to reach out and get the help and favors required to get ahead as well as meet potential partners both in the industry as well as at a personal level.
