This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Article: An Imminent Turning Point

Dear Eugenia:

I was born at 12:25 a.m. on 6 May 1972. Around January 2000, Saturn will return to its position in my natal chart, Gemini. My question is this: What significant effects, if any, will the fact that Saturn, Mars, and Venus are all in Gemini (and retrograde, I believe) in my natal chart have on my Saturn return? (or, more generally, what types of influences can I expect during my Saturn return?)

Dear M.

First of all your natal Mars and Venus are not situated close enough to your natal Saturn in order to form a conjunction. Therefore, I would be more concerned with your natal Saturn opposite your natal Neptune when your Saturn returns strikes between May and July of next year and January and March of 2002. With your natal Moon well aspected to both your natal Saturn and Neptune however I feel comfortable saying that it shouldn't be too difficult. Usually your Saturn return results in reevaluating your life. It is a turning point for most people. In your case it will be in an area that deals with such things as making a move from one state to another (which I might add should be favorable) or deciding to further your education for self-purpose or for career advancement. It can also be a time that children will play a role in your life or that you could be taken advantage of financially. It is not a time that you should trust just anyone, especially with your money. You may want to reconsider the way you spend your spare time socializing. If you have been overindulgent it may be the time to cut back or quit altogether. Saturn is a disciplinarian, a teacher, we are to learn from our past mistakes and use this period of renewed awareness to sort through the clutter in our lives and move on in a positive and refreshed manner. You shouldn't fight Saturn influences, but instead learn to accept the situation you are in and find the most suitable way to make the changes necessary to better your life.

Article: From Virgo

Dear Eugenia,

I came to see you on the show, which was on my birth date of 2002. I came up with my c/l spouse. He even went on camera at the end to say what he thought of the information. His birth date is June 16, 1963; mine September 7, 1964, at 7:22 am. You had concern that with our match up the problems I have been facing for the past seven years that started as he and I started up as a couple, would be not good due to his areas overlapping with mine ie. health.

I watched your show after that to see our taping Show #3 I believe it was because I needed to understand what you had said further. Since that time, my health has gotten considerably worse, and I have no source of income, unless I am approved for CCP disab. I didn't ask for this life. I love him and he me, we have only known hardship since being together. Life is pretty rotten to me why?

The same problems still exist. With the way your two charts interact with one another it makes the medical and health area of your chart very difficult. I believe that the past two and a half years have probably resulted in health issues for you and I would like to say that your troubles in this area are over but I do believe that you will continue encounter medical problems. Regarding your disability the chance of getting this does appear to be getting better. You should have been working in the health industry, had you done so it may have helped you to ward off some of the transits that you have been fighting for such a long time. Being a health technician or involved in some form of medical research may have helped. Your comparison with your husband will not change and although you may love one another you don't benefit from this connection. Uncertainties will remain. I believe that with the amount of Virgo that you have situated in the twelfth house of your chart with your natal Saturn in Pisces in your sixth that the problems will always be yours not his and that unfortunately his chart having his natal Mercury and Venus in Gemini adversely positioned to your set up in Virgo and Pisces that as long as you are together hardship will prevail. This can make life difficult but if you truly want to be with one another the fight you go through as a couple should pull you closer together even if it does not bring favorable results from a medical standpoint. You also have a tendency to make yourself ill due to worry and stress and this must be something that you work on in order to turn things around. Secondly I suggest that you get involved in some form of educational pursuit that might allow you to pick up the required skills to either work or even volunteer to help out in some form in the medical industry. This more than anything else might help you situation improve. You may not see the value in what I am trying to tell you but I do believe that if you follow suit some improvements will unfold.

Dear Eugenia,

Hello my birth date is Jan 11th of 1980, at 7:18 a.m. My boyfriends birthday is May 24th of 1975, not sure the time, is using drugs (so I believe) I have known him for 9 years and I also was a drug addict until Jan 19th of 2004. I was incarcerated for one year and been clean ever since. I also had my child while I was incarcerated on June 13th of 2004 at 12:25 in the afternoon. She is the reason why I'm clean today. She is so precious to me and I love her to death. I will do anything for her I even quit smoking. But her father bob I think is still using. You see he lives 2 and 1/2 hours away. He really doesn't do anything for our child he has given me only $50.00 since she was born and only seen her about 6 times in 9 months. I'm afraid for him and I want a better life for him. I just don't know what he's thinking anymore. Since his mother passed away 4 years ago it's like he always looked at life as nothing but a downhill for him. He thinks everybody is out to get him and that there's some kind of curse on him cause everything bad always happens when something good comes along. Do you see any future with us being a family at all? Do you see me being an independent mother? I want everything for my child. Bob hasn't been there for me through a lot and I hate him for that. But deep down inside I love him. After all I did for him. He has been trying to get clean but I don't think its working out for him. I talked to him on the phone this morning and he sounded messed up. He said he was going to call me back but never did. When I called him tonight his father told me he went out... go figure. His best friend mike passed away this morning and it was an overdose. I have been through a lot and well I was just wondering if you see a brighter future for me. I live with my parents and its exhausting raising my child in my parent's household. Well I hope you respond to this letter.. Thank you for your time.

You should be very proud of yourself. It isn't easy to beat addiction. Now you have to protect you and your little girl from the perils of that whole scene. Your boyfriend does not match up well to either you or your daughter. It is best for you to walk away from him and not look back. You need to focus on yourself and getting ahead. It is apparent that you should be upgrading or learning a new skill between now and the early part of next year. This will enable you to get a decent job that will not only lead to your freedom but security for you and your baby. You are fortunate to have parents who care enough to help you after going down the path you choose in the past. I'm sure they are very proud of you as well. I can't stress enough that you must leave your past where it is and not venture near your Gemini friend. I do not believe that at any point he will be good for you. Your chart indicates that you are in a high cycle this summer and fall regarding love and romance. There is the chance that your ex will try to come back into your life at that time as well. Please do not entertain the thought of getting back with him - not even for a moment. Move ahead and date someone new. You should have an astrological comparison done with whomever you decide to date just to be sure that you have picked wisely. You don't have the best track record when it comes to picking partners. You match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces. The signs Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius are definitely not good for you.
