I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Ms. Eugenia:
I would like an idea of how soon my troubles will last. On August 30, my husband was shot in an attempted mugging. He now has a bullet logged in his back. Fortunately, the bullet did not hit any vital organs, however it does rest less than an inch from his spine. Needless to say, it has caused much anxiety and stress. During his recovery, it was up to me to keep up on all household expenses. Doing everything on one income caused many bills to be put on hold. Hence, late charges, penalties etc. etc. And of course, more stress.
At the end of this month (October) I knew I would finally be "caught up" with all of those bills. My husband has recovered nicely (even though the bullet remains) and I was thanking the higher powers that all was soon to be well once again - until, two days ago, my oldest daughter informed me of a date rape that had also taken place on August 30. Due to the incident mentioned above, she didn't tell me immediately because she saw how the other things were affecting me (she and I are very close). Unfortunately, the rape has led to a pregnancy, soon to be terminated. She is only 15 years old. My doctor had to prescribe a sedative to keep me sane (something I have never, ever had to do before). It is stressing me to no end to think what she is about to go through, hence the sedative. My only question is, based on the position at the time of my birth August 20, 1968, at 3:00 PM can you please give me some idea of how much longer this "negative" cycle will last?

Your chart indicates stability between now and the end of April therefore you must pull yourself together and do what must be done. Being positive and supportive for your husband and daughter is required for a bit longer. The work and money area of your chart is moving into a favorable cycle. It is important for you to put your efforts there so that you can maintain a normal standard of living as well as keep your mind off some of the things that are stressing you out. If you have too much time on your hands to think about what you and your family have been through you are likely to continue to be depressed as well as suffer from emotional problems. I wrote to you a couple of times before. I'm not sure if you received my letters or not. Anyways, I need you to answer a question concerning my friendship with my girlfriend. I want to know if we are compatible and if she's being a true friend to me. I get the feeling that she lies to me and is trying to avoid me because she doesn't want anything to do with me. Could you please tell me if this is true and if it is, why is that? How does she really feel about me and our friendship? I thought that we were compatible because we're both born on the cusp. I was born on June 21,1974 at 6:26 p.m and she was born October 23,1971. Is she more of a Libra or a Scorpio or do I need a birth time for that? I can understand your concern. The comparison wasn't all that great and there is definitely an element of sorrow and possible deception regarding this connection. The deception however could be your view of the relationship. You may not be looking at this union in the same way that she is. I believe that you may be taking it far more seriously and this can lead to future problems. You may want to rethink your motives and your intentions before you try to move forward with this person. You match up well to those born under the signs Gemini, Sagittarius and Aquarius.

I often visit your site and get advice...However, I have one question, hoping that you would help me to clarify. It's about my sign. I was born on Nov 22, 1982, at 10:11 pm. However, I'm not sure my horoscope sign is Scorpio or Sagittarius. In different magazines, some classify as Scorpio, some as Sagittarius. Thus, I'm checking both of them. Of course, in AstroEast, it comes out as Sagittarius. Can you tell me which one and why? Then, I can tell people when they ask me what my sign is. Your sign is most definitely Sagittarius. Not only do you have your natal Sun placed in that sign you also have your natal Mercury, Venus, Uranus and Neptune in Sagittarius. Regarding your Scorpio influence you only have your natal Jupiter in that sign therefore you can safely say that you are a full fledge Sagittarius when someone asks. In order to figure out what sign a person is there birth time must be accurate. When born around the time that the Sun moves from one constellation to another only the time of day can determine whether that person will be born under one sign or the other, in your case there is no contest, it is definitely Sagittarius. The reason that it can be very confusing is that from year to year the Sun may move into the next constellation a day ahead or a day behind the set dates that are used in the daily horoscopes. When I started writing daily columns I would use the actual date in the paper that the Sun changed signs but many readers complained because as far as they were concerned the set dates were the only ones to consider. Unfortunately most people born on the cusp will never know for sure unless like yourself you have your chart calculated out to the exact time. This is easy to do by using my www.astroadvice.com or www.AstroEast.com web site. By the way you came very close to having a Stellium in your chart, (A grouping of planets in one area of the zodiac. Multiple conjunctions. A collection of five planets or more in a close proximity to one another.) you have four planets conjunct in Sagittarius, the fifth is not.
