Hi, it is an honor to write to you. I receive hope from your site when I'm in need of help. The reason I am writing to you Eugenia is that this year, a lot of bad things have happened to me... My best friend committed suicide and I am having difficulty getting over the shock. This was only 3 months ago...My mind is so dizzy. I need to forget everything and face the reality but I don't know whether I'm too weak.
I love a guy. I have known him since I was young. We were friends in the beginning and became lovers later. There is a misunderstanding between him and me. As a result, he left me. I need to forget him but it is not easy to do so. Every day is a long day full of pains. Eugenia, Can you give me a supportive word? I'd like to move on...

Dear Eugenia:
This is my second attempt to write you concerning this problem that seems to be overwhelming to me.I became reacquainted with someone (b/d 3/31/46 mine 9/8/47) from my hometown after 30 years. He lives an hour away and we have spent a year of his coming to visit weekends and numerous phone calls daily. We became one another's best friend as well as lovers. It seemed our progressing relationship was going well. We had a wonderful 3-day weekend, the next two days our phone calls continued just like normal. Then out of the blue he breaks it off. When he broke it off he said he didn't love me. He wanted to leave his personal items here for a while. I waited and was horribly depressed. Sent them back. He was upset and says it was his fault. He says he has been doing a lot of soul searching about why he got scared. He said it seems he never let anyone in and thinks it stems from a childhood problem. Now he says if I can give him a few more days or weeks he hopes he can resolve his issues. He continued to say we had something special.
What is going on with him? Can he resolve these issues? Will we be able to overcome these problems? How do I deal with this? He is a wonderful man but he has hurt me deeply and I care very much for him. It could be a great relationship for my part, his I don't know.
I am not able to cope with another loss in my life. I've lost too many people to death and I just don't have the strength to be hurt again.

The comparison is quite good but I do believe that there is something that your Aries man isn't telling you. It may not be something that will matter to you but it obviously does to him. Wait it out and give the guy a chance. You've got some time to spare right now. I need your advice. My girlfriend left me ten months ago and I have been trying my best since to recover. We were together for about two years. I have been trying to work for personal goals in order to better my life: counseling and I am in the process of applying to law school. I am unable to get over her. I have respected her wishes and left the situation alone but I keep hoping for a second chance. I am constantly plagues by self-doubt. Aside from the heartbreak, I am studying for law school and I am uncertain about what school will accept me and whether to stay in New York City because it constantly reminds me of the past. Am I waiting and hoping in vain for my ex-girlfriend. If you have any advice or insight into the relationship or school please help. Thank you.

You didn't mention your ex-girlfriend's date of birth so I can't run a comparison between the two of you or even tell you what she might be thinking but I can tell you that you have been going through a very depressing time with transiting Saturn crossing over your ascendant and this has probably accounted for some of the trouble you are having letting go. Although this transit is still plaguing you there are good things that it can be used for. Education, self-improvement and in general feeling better about you are just a few ways to use up the energy that Saturn brings with it. It is apparent that you are trying to do all of these things and so I feel confident that you will get through it. With your natal Venus in the sign Capricorn well aspected to both your natal Mars and Jupiter I can not imagine you remaining single once the Saturn transit passes as a matter of fact there is evidence that you will probably meet someone through a friend, work, school, while traveling or even over the internet so don't give up. I must tell you however that between now and the summer of next year I really feel that you are best to put your time and effort into your educational pursuits and leave the whole relationship thing until later next year when you will have a better handle on what you really want in a partner. You match up well to those born under the signs Aries, Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio and Capricorn. This is not the time to look back or to live in the past and although transiting Saturn can have a tendency to make you do just that it is important that you look forward and work toward your goals.
