Hi, it is an honor to write to you. I receive hope from your site when I'm in need of help. The reason I am writing to you Eugenia is that this year, a lot of bad things have happened to me... My best friend committed suicide and I am having difficulty getting over the shock. This was only 3 months ago...My mind is so dizzy. I need to forget everything and face the reality but I don't know whether I'm too weak.

I love a guy. I have known him since I was young. We were friends in the beginning and became lovers later. There is a misunderstanding between him and me. As a result, he left me. I acted in a friend's short film and have been teaching myself the craft of writing stories for a few years now. Yes I do see career change. It has actually been in your chart since the spring of 2003 and isn't about to move off until the end of this decade so get used to it. Your chart does indicate that you are highly creative and should work in a field that allows you to explore many different creative venues. In this day and age people change career direction more often and so you shouldn't be so worried about it. You can always fall back on graphic design or even keep working in that field while you delve into the performing arts and writing. My concern with writing is that although you do have your natal Mercury well aspected to your natal Pluto it does fall in an area of your chart that can sometimes make it difficult for you to get your work (writing) into the mainstream where it can be profitable for you. On the other hand you also have quite a build up of planets in an area of your chart that deals with communication and publishing so I believe that with a little extra effort and good timing you may be able to push your work into the hands of someone who can help you get ahead. You have been going through a transit that can help you with this the past couple of years and you did manage to work in the film and television industry during that time however that transit has moved on for now. Another transit similar will activate again in about four years but that doesn't mean you shouldn't start working in that direction now. After all the more prep work or writing you aspire to between now and that time the more polished your work will be as well as the more sellable when that transit moves into your chart. My suggestion to you is to continue your current work and do your writing on the side with your goal being to start trying to sell it in 2008/2009.

Article: The Cycle of Fertility

Dear Eugenia,

Greetings and Blessings, My name is Jennifer and I'm new to Astro Advice. While surfing around on the wonderful web site I came across the "Dear Eugenia" link. I was curious as to what wonders it might hold and so, here I am. The reason for me writing to you is because of a very depressing and unfruitful matter in my life right now. You see, my other half and I have been trying to conceive for almost two years now and to our amazement no results have prevailed. This is often a very saddening experience month after month and we are at the point now where we just feel we should give up. We have tried every option under the sun that has been recommended to us such as; me lying in bed for up to 30 minutes after sex, taking baby asprin to thin out my blood and promote better circulation, taking 2 tbsp. of Robitussin Cough Syrup to thin out cervical mucus, drinking red-raspberry tea and various others. Everything has left us down right exhausted. I'm beginning to lose all hope in this matter and I feel as though I'm not meant to have children. It appears as though God doesn't want me to give the gift of life and bring a child into this world. At several times I thought I was pregnant but, a false- positive pregnancy test proved wrong. To be truthful... this issue is starting to take it's toll on the relationship the more and more the months go by. It appears that these troubles are causing me to push away from my other half and he in turn is beginning to get more and more frustrated and depressed as well. My birth date is December 11, 1978---- 9:00 AM and my other half's is March 17,1980---- unfortunately I am unsure of his time of birth.
