I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.

This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Every time I read my horoscope, there is one thing I'd like to know...That's why I'm writing to you, I was born February 2, 1977, at 5:00 AM. Whenever we are unsure of our future, we look up our horoscope. Then, it might only be 50% correct, however, at least we can get to know little,...then for example, people who have financial luck do not have to work and people who don't have, they have to work throughout their lives...Of course we can not just reply on horoscope...we can just get help from it... If our fate is already determined, then what should we do?

Good question. Astrology is a mathematical science and an interpretive art. Only God can determine how long ones life will last but some of the things that we go through in life are determined by what we do as individuals. In your particular case your chart indicates that you are very bright and capable of making a lot of money through investments over the years. You will be in a high cycle regarding learning and educational pursuits as well as travel between now and the July of next year. You should also be looking at all your options regarding your career and job prospects between now and the end of 2001. You can make favorable professional changes if you put your mind to it. You should be careful however that you don't overspend foolishly over the next year and a half on social activities, entertainment, gambling or luxury items. If you can budget wisely until the end of next year you will be in a good position to invest in a worthwhile venture that should be quite prosperous. As you can see, there are good times and bad times to be doing certain things throughout your life. It isn't necessarily true that one person's chart is better than someone else's is but more so that one has better timing than the other does. Astrology can help you decipher when it is the best time to start something new or make a change or take advantage of an opportunity. As I have said many times, the ancient art of astrology is the modern art of timing.

My name is Wanda and this is my situation. I am married with two kids. I have been married for one year and eight months. After four months of being married my husband was with another girl. I know this because I came home and I found hickeys on his neck and I went in my bedroom and found a condom on the floor. That's when we started not getting along and I turned to my friends for help and support. I was talking to my husband's friend and we started to get closer and it turned out that we started to see each other every weekend and we started fooling around with each other and now we are seeing each other every now and then. My husband knows because he found us together. I am really in love with my husband's friend and I want to stay with him. But my husband won't let me leave him; he won't let me go. My husband is thirty years old, eight years older than I. We met in 1991 and have been together until this time. I really want to let go of him. I am not in love with him anymore. All I feel for him is friendship. I want to finish school as well and if I stay with him I would not have that opportunity. He is to jealous. We have three kids together 2girls & 1 boy. My daughter seven, son Tyler is six, my youngest is four. I gave up my first daughter at two weeks old because I was only thirteen years of age. Now that I am twenty-two and I want more out of life. Wanda, get a grip. You're twenty-two, you have the rest of your life ahead of you. Get your act together and get out of the situation you're in. You are with a man who obviously doesn't respect you or the marriage vows you took. Although you didn't submit his birth data or that of his friends I'd venture to say by your chart that you have been manipulated for some time with regard to relationships. Take your two children and get out of there before your boys think that it's okay to treat a woman the way you're being treated. Secondly, two wrongs don't make a right. Fooling around with one of your husband's friends is not the answer. You need to get back to basics and sort out your feelings and your life before you get involved with someone else. You are best to seek help first. You should be doing whatever you can to remove the children and yourself from your current situation. There are homes that will take you in with your children if you are abused and if your husband is jealous, refusing to let you leave, and running around on you, that should be enough for you to get help. If you have family to turn to, do so. However, if your parents let you hang out with this man when you were thirteen and he was twenty-one I have a feeling that they won't be much help now. By your chart I can tell you that your home environment is moving into better times but it will take your initiative to turn things around for yourself so get moving. You are in a high cycle where learning is concerned and you should be taking advantage of this. You can apply for social assistance to help you and your kids. You should also look into courses that the government offers to those who want to make life better for them self. You live in a country that gives so much to those-in-need that there is no excuse for anyone to put up with the lifestyle that you are living right now. Get moving girl, and don't look back. You owe that much to your children and to yourself.

Article: Office Politics

Dear Eugenia,

I was born in Boston, MA at 3:06am on March 6, 1975. My career is going no where. I keep running into dead ends. Every time I find a job I end up wanting to quit within 1-4 months. You can imagine what my resume looks like. I do try to commit, but always find the situation unbearable. Right now, I'm at 4 months and barely hanging on. I always want to quit because of office politics. I once heard someone say "don't be a part of office politics, but do be aware it." "mind your own business, and do your work." I have done both of these. And at every job I am constantly the "butt" of office gossip. I am aware that for me to be quiet and do my work will seem threatening to some. But why am I treated so meanly even if I am nice to everyone? I have had co-workers ruin my projects or take credit for my work. I have had plenty say negative untrue things about me and people actually believe them! Talking to managers doesn't work either. I've tried and have been put down by them or simply laughed at or ignored. I've even been fired for not being able to get along with a co-worker even though it was the co-worker who did all the "mean things". And at my current job, I am afraid this may happen again. I feel like I get the brunt of it more than anyone else. And I am sure I am not being paranoid or overly sensitive. I am professional and mature as possible and as I can be. So what's wrong with me? I am seeking therapy, however, what do you see in all this? Please tell me anything you can. Please help me. I am deeply worried, concerned, & afraid for my work/career situations. Your sensitivity regarding work and money is and has been a little out of control over the course of the past couple of years and although you are not quite over the hump as of yet relief is on the way. Your chart indicates that you should be working in a field that is a little unusual, that you need to be creative, nurturing and inventive. The area of your chart that deals with higher education is in a high cycle for the next few months and that means that an apprenticeship or picking up skills that could help you change your vocation may be the answer. You might want to consider starting your own business as well. You need to be doing something that you feel is going to give you something back at some point. Over the course of the past two years you also had transiting Neptune hitting your chart in such a way that it was causing deception, disillusionment and misunderstandings with colleagues and employers. Take three steps back and decide what it is you want to do and start to move in that direction.
