I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Every time I read my horoscope, there is one thing I'd like to know...That's why I'm writing to you, I was born February 2, 1977, at 5:00 AM. Whenever we are unsure of our future, we look up our horoscope. Then, it might only be 50% correct, however, at least we can get to know little,...then for example, people who have financial luck do not have to work and people who don't have, they have to work throughout their lives...Of course we can not just reply on horoscope...we can just get help from it... If our fate is already determined, then what should we do?

Good question. Astrology is a mathematical science and an interpretive art. Only God can determine how long ones life will last but some of the things that we go through in life are determined by what we do as individuals. In your particular case your chart indicates that you are very bright and capable of making a lot of money through investments over the years. You will be in a high cycle regarding learning and educational pursuits as well as travel between now and the July of next year. You should also be looking at all your options regarding your career and job prospects between now and the end of 2001. You can make favorable professional changes if you put your mind to it. You should be careful however that you don't overspend foolishly over the next year and a half on social activities, entertainment, gambling or luxury items. If you can budget wisely until the end of next year you will be in a good position to invest in a worthwhile venture that should be quite prosperous. As you can see, there are good times and bad times to be doing certain things throughout your life. It isn't necessarily true that one person's chart is better than someone else's is but more so that one has better timing than the other does. Astrology can help you decipher when it is the best time to start something new or make a change or take advantage of an opportunity. As I have said many times, the ancient art of astrology is the modern art of timing.

I have written about five times now, I realize that you are very busy & I'm hoping this is my lucky day.I was born on the 19th of May 1943, at 1 am & do not know for sure what sign I am under. Also I have been separated from my Husband for about 7 years. He has another partner & is doing very well financially & with his new love (his birth date is June 3, 1943). I would really like to know what is in store for me love, financial & job. Please Please answer this one as I am very depressed & no longer feel there is any hope for me.

You were born under the sign Taurus - there is no question about that but you also have a strong Gemini influence having your natal Mercury, Saturn and Uranus in that sign. The sign Cancer is also strongly placed in your chart with both your natal Venus and Jupiter situated in that sign, all that being said it probably leaves you a little bit confused. A chart is made up of many different facets your sun sign being a small but important part of the big picture. In your case the sign Taurus affects areas of your chart that deal with communication as well as your home environment. You are slowly but surely moving into a much better position where work and money are concerned but at the age you are at right now you will have to be very smart about the way you go at it. For the rest of this year and most of next you are in a high cycle regarding apprenticeships and learning new skills. It's hard to get into a position like that because of age discrimination these days so it will be important that you consider areas of work and learning that won't discriminate. Consider real estate or a product or service for the home, something that you can virtually be your own boss. If you pick up the skills or information you require now you will find yourself in a much better position this time next year. You don't have a bad chart you've just gone through some rough transits. Regarding your ex-husband, you do have a good comparison however even the best don't always last especially where Gemini males are concerned, in his case he as four planets in that sign. The past couple of years have probably not been the best for him either although he probably wouldn't share this with anyone. I feel his problems have probably been of an emotional as well as physical nature. I don't know how much contact you have with him but I believe that you should probably get in touch with him now. I think that you still have some unresolved issues and that he may be willing to help you out. Although your chart stills shows some depression and limitations financially that transit is lifting over the course of the next two months and I feel that you will be singing a different tune by the fall. I was in a 10 year long relationship with a man that I believe is the love of my life. Things were so easy for about the first year, after that they seemed to just be on a steady course of difficulty. I've never strayed from my dream of marriage and a family. He said he wanted all the same things and recently has changed his mind. He has done a 180 on me and we are now separated. We went through a similar thing a few years ago, but got back together after about four months apart. He was born on January 12, 1972 and I was born on June 23, 1969 at 11:00 pm. As far as signs go, I know that we are perfectly compatible. Can you tell me if I'm crazy for loving this man? Is this a temporary split while he works out whatever has him scared or is this permanent? I've been lost and confused trying to make sense of all of this... any help you can offer would be a great help in putting my mind and heart at ease.

The comparison was okay but not without some problems. Although your boyfriend was born under the sign Capricorn he does have three planets in the sign Sagittarius and this is usually an indication that even if he does decide to get married he will always be a bachelor at heart. He has his natal Venus in the sign Aquarius and this planet is going through a change of heart, confusion and as a result causing his 180-degree turn. His natal Venus is also at an adverse position to your natal Neptune and this usually causes sorrow within the relationship. In your case it shows up when it comes to changing your status in life that meaning marriage. I also believe that there could be some problems where friends and family are concerned that you may not even know about. Your chart indicates that you will be in a much better position regarding love, marriage and so forth towards the end of this year and through most of next. I wouldn't give him much more time to do a reversal. If he can't make up his mind by the fall let it go. As for you I believe that you should be focusing on career, getting out and meeting and making some new friends and moving on with your life. You actually match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces.
