Every time I read my horoscope, there is one thing I'd like to know...That's why I'm writing to you, I was born February 2, 1977, at 5:00 AM. Whenever we are unsure of our future, we look up our horoscope. Then, it might only be 50% correct, however, at least we can get to know little,...then for example, people who have financial luck do not have to work and people who don't have, they have to work throughout their lives...Of course we can not just reply on horoscope...we can just get help from it... If our fate is already determined, then what should we do?

Good question. Astrology is a mathematical science and an interpretive art. Only God can determine how long ones life will last but some of the things that we go through in life are determined by what we do as individuals. In your particular case your chart indicates that you are very bright and capable of making a lot of money through investments over the years. You will be in a high cycle regarding learning and educational pursuits as well as travel between now and the July of next year. You should also be looking at all your options regarding your career and job prospects between now and the end of 2001. You can make favorable professional changes if you put your mind to it. You should be careful however that you don't overspend foolishly over the next year and a half on social activities, entertainment, gambling or luxury items. If you can budget wisely until the end of next year you will be in a good position to invest in a worthwhile venture that should be quite prosperous. As you can see, there are good times and bad times to be doing certain things throughout your life. It isn't necessarily true that one person's chart is better than someone else's is but more so that one has better timing than the other does. Astrology can help you decipher when it is the best time to start something new or make a change or take advantage of an opportunity. I've written to you several times but as yet have not had an answer, so I'm sure that you must be extremely busy. Your advice is so thorough that I hope you will answer my letter. I have been seeing a Gemini male, born June 13, 1950, 4:30 p.m. We've been intimate but it has been more as a friendship than anything else. We don't live together but we live nearby one another. I've known him for approximately one and a half years. He comes on hot and cold (depending on his stresses of the day). He works in an extremely high stress job. If he's had a couple of beers he confesses that he likes me and that he can't believe that I would care for someone like him. He insists he wants to remain friends, yet when I tell him that I can't be friends and try to let go, he talks me into hanging around. I love this man deeply and have been trying to help him. Deep down I feel that he cares more than as a friend for me and doesn't want me out of his life. If the job has stressed him that particular day he does not want to talk and if he does, he has a tendency of cutting you off, so that all you want to do is get off the phone with him. Am I wasting my time? Should I continue to be friends with him? He continually tells me that I deserve better because he's not very stable emotionally, then when I stay away and then see him again, he's major happy to see me. Please tell me if it's worth my while to continue being friends with him or should I just leave him alone and hope he gets better without me. You have to be friends before you become lovers. Friends are there forever but lovers come and go. Wake up and realize that if you enjoy being with this man it really doesn't matter and get over his Gemini aloofness and enjoy the moment. I do believe that he loves you. You match up very well emotionally, physically and mentally - what more do you want. On the down side he falls in an area of your chart that deals with secret affairs so if he isn't including you in the rest of his life you may have a serious problem to deal with and you fall in an area of his chart that deals with communication and dealing with his friends and family so if there is a problem regarding these matters you may want to consider clearing them up before moving forward. Your chart indicates that you will be in a high cycle regarding commitment and getting serious beginning mid summer however that doesn't guarantee that it will be with him. With transiting Saturn beginning to move across the top of his chart this year you may find him more receptive to settling down as well as less stressed because he will finally be getting the recognition he needs to feel good about his work. If you don't find him leaning toward becoming more serious between now and the fall of next year you may want to set your sights on someone new. That being the case you may want to consider someone born under the sign Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn or Pisces.

Your site is great - so interesting. I thought the celebrity scopes were so insightful! I am asking mainly about creativity, career and money. I am pretty good at both creative writing and photography, but have never had the focus or confidence to follow through with either as a career - my parents and brother are all scientific based and I can still hear them say to just keep creativity as a hobby and get a real job. I have a degree, but having started work in the dead end world of retail, whilst trying to write a novel, this is now the only real experience I have. As a result I have no confidence in looking at a job that requires my qualifications as I imagine that the employer would wonder why I haven't been in this type of work for the ten years since I graduated! I am also concerned that even in the retail sector, where I do have the experience and thus the confidence, I shy away from applying for leader roles, or more interesting roles with higher wages!!!
I have been working on a book off and on for the last eight years, and although I have produced a considerable amount of quality work, it has turned into a nightmare project. It never seems to be good enough! Although a lot of friends have loved the writing and have urged me to finish it I have got to the point where I don't even know what it is about anymore. I have never sent anything off to a publisher. My creative writing teacher told me last year that my writing was breath-taking...still nothing. At the back of my mind I almost feel that the book has to contain the meaning of life or else it won't be worthwhile! aaaah!
Recently I put this project to one side and started thinking along totally different lines. I started plotting out a very lighthearted book and everything came together very well in the plan, but I found the actual writing hard to start. Am I on the right track with this? Does my chart indicate that I will never succeed!!!? Am I doomed to retail etc forever?
One last thing. My luck seems strongest with houses: I always find fantastic places to live in a very short time. I also move a lot. I was wondering if the creative stuff really is a non-starter, should I re-train in real estate? I was born December 7, 1970 at 9:30 PM.

Surprise surprise - I do not see you in retail that is for sure and don't know how you have survived in this position for so many years. I do however see you in several different areas, real estate being one, interior decorating another along with working for yourself out of your home in the creative field as well as teaching in order to help subsidize your bankbook while you get things off the ground.
It is unfortunate that both school counselors and parents stifle creative children to such a degree that they lack the confidence required to follow a dream. Fear of failure is embedded into children's brains at such a young age that it is a wonder we have any successful creative people on the planet at all.
If you don't follow your dream you will never find happiness. After all happiness is the prerequisite of doing what's right for you not to fulfill your parent's dreams. Do you have talent and the ability to be published - yes you do but not without the usual sacrifices and hard work required to pull it off. You should be sending your work out immediately as the area of your chart that deals with publishing is in a high cycle for the next couple of months. Yes the area of your chart that deals with publishing will periodically move through a high cycle throughout your life but as for the one you are currently experiencing it began at the end of last year and as you can see you only have a little time left to utilize it.
