I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.

This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Every time I read my horoscope, there is one thing I'd like to know...That's why I'm writing to you, I was born February 2, 1977, at 5:00 AM. Whenever we are unsure of our future, we look up our horoscope. Then, it might only be 50% correct, however, at least we can get to know little,...then for example, people who have financial luck do not have to work and people who don't have, they have to work throughout their lives...Of course we can not just reply on horoscope...we can just get help from it... If our fate is already determined, then what should we do?

Good question. Astrology is a mathematical science and an interpretive art. Only God can determine how long ones life will last but some of the things that we go through in life are determined by what we do as individuals. In your particular case your chart indicates that you are very bright and capable of making a lot of money through investments over the years. You will be in a high cycle regarding learning and educational pursuits as well as travel between now and the July of next year. You should also be looking at all your options regarding your career and job prospects between now and the end of 2001. You can make favorable professional changes if you put your mind to it. You should be careful however that you don't overspend foolishly over the next year and a half on social activities, entertainment, gambling or luxury items. If you can budget wisely until the end of next year you will be in a good position to invest in a worthwhile venture that should be quite prosperous. As you can see, there are good times and bad times to be doing certain things throughout your life. It isn't necessarily true that one person's chart is better than someone else's is but more so that one has better timing than the other does. Astrology can help you decipher when it is the best time to start something new or make a change or take advantage of an opportunity. As I have said many times, the ancient art of astrology is the modern art of timing.

Article: Going Through Some Rocky Times

Dear Eugenia,

First of all I would like to say thank you. Astro Advice has gotten me through some real bad times. Your insight into the problems in life based on sound scientific principles has helped me weather some real stormy situations, recently. Yet I still have some unanswered questions concerning my relationship. My wife was born on April 1954; I am not sure what time. I was born on March 8 1949, at 3:43 a.m. I know that we have some real problems understanding each other's philosophies some times, and that some times I don't understand how to be sensitive to her emotionally and vice versa. Why is this? She is a Taurus and I am a Pisces, shouldn't we get along a lot better. By the way we have been married 21 years, so all is not lost. What I want to know is, I mean can you tell me where our weak points are and can these problems be fixed or because she has her Saturn in Gemini and I have my Saturn in Virgo we can never get closer, doomed to live out our lives in this intolerable state of affairs. Please help me find an answer in astrological terms, because I am sort of disillusioned by the information that I find in the "ROMANCE COMPATABILITY" section of "ASTRO ADVICE". Almost everyday it tells me that I should seriously consider the why I am in this relationship. The "LOVE THERMOMETER" states that I love my wife 83% and she only loves me 72% please clarify. Dear Concerned Husband

Wish you thought to give me your wife's complete birth data. It's kind of hard to give you a well-rounded answer with only half the equation. Based on your chart however I can tell you this. You have been going through personal changes regarding love, partnerships, your home environment and your position in society. Now you might say, not really and that's where your wife's data would have helped me to clarify what is at the route of the problem. Often I find that when these types of transits are going through someone chart they don't always see things clearly. In other words, your wife may not be content and she may feel as if she is talking to a brick wall. Fact of the matter is that she may be the one who should be reevaluating the relationship if you haven't been giving her what she needs emotionally. In your case however, I doubt that is the case. I feel that the percentages that the love thermometer indicates the problem is probably more an issue that relates more to remembering the reason you and your wife fell in love with one another in the first place and trying to rekindle the flame that once burnt so passionately.

Article: From Pisces

Dear Eugenia

I'm a Pisces born February 22, 1964 at 4:30 am, 40 years old and never married and I just met a wonderful man who wants to have children, and might I add, right away. He says we don't have much time since we are both older. He is a Capricorn born in the Philippines Dec 29, 1964 and I admire the way he takes charge, but I was actually leaning towards not having children. The whole concept frightens me, and I am getting older and I am such a Pisces, flitting from thing to thing and never really accomplishing any one concrete direction, fairly successful in my own right, but wonder how I ever am, since I tend to overextend myself and do way too many things at once. I long for someone to help me take charge of my life, simplify it, and make it more relaxed, but I wonder if I am drawn towards him for his steadiness and clarity of direction, his responsibility, his success, and if I choose to be with him, I may end up in a worse situation (overextended, more complicated, less peace and less focus). At 40 I still don't feel I have any clear direction. But if I had to say what I really wanted to do with myself, it would be get up late, jog around the lake, work for a few hours, drive around, read a book, chat with some friends, and walk by the beach. I don't know if having a family would be high on that list, and I think it would just be to satisfy his desire to have a family. But then again, if I don't have a child I wonder if I would regret it when I am older, and maybe it might be nice to choose a successful responsible man and start a family instead of drifting around with the romantic irresponsible men I normally am drawn towards. What do you think?

Dear Pisces

I believe you are over-reacting. Having a baby shouldn't make or break a relationship if you truly love one another. The comparison between you and your Capricorn man was okay but it did show some signs of deception and confusion. I believe you need to communicate more about what you both want out of life. Honesty reigns supreme so you had better start talking and if you both aren't on the same page move on. You are in a high cycle regarding love and meeting potential partners or having someone you used to care about come back into your life. You owe it to yourself to get to the bottom of whether or not you want to settle down with your Capricorn friend or set both of you free so that you can meet new people.

Where work and how you earn your living are concerned you are coming into a much higher cycle beginning the last quarter of this year and throughout next year and it is important that you position yourself so that you can take advantage of the opportunities that come along. Your chart indicates that you are confused. Much of your confusion is due to the fact that you were born with your natal Mercury adversely positioned to your natal Neptune. This causes self-deception especially when it comes to your personal likes and dislikes, how well you can do in society and professionally as well as how you relate to both business and emotional partners.

It may be time to reevaluate who you are, what you want and where you see yourself in ten years. If it isn't taking care of the kids and a husband - move on now.
