I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I really need your help. I just celebrated my birthday and I could ask for little more than a response to brighten my day. I was recently proposed to by a wonderful man whom I used to date in high school. (November 4th, 2000)We have very much kept in touch. He told me not too long ago that he has been in love with me for a year. He was born on February 3rd, 1981 at 4:39am. He currently resides in Turkey, where he is stationed until next month. Then he will be back home in New Mexico on his base. I was born at 7:04am on November 15th, 1981. I am 97% sure that I will say yes, but I suppose that other 3% is waiting on a sign. I can think of no better sign than a response from you. I have heard speeches from every possible angle about how I should enjoy being young and that I shouldn't get serious. The thing is, I enjoy being serious. Its one of my goals in life to marry a loving husband, and he is in front of my eyes. You are a serious person and I can see by your chart that you want to be in love, get married, have a family and live happily ever after. I do believe however that although the comparison is good that uncertainties are also present and the fact that you are looking for a sign to tell you to go for it means that as sure as you think you are you do have some reservations. I believe that you will accept his proposal and that you will marry your Aquarius partner but I also believe that for as much as you have in common there will be some obstacles along the way. Those could perhaps be his constant traveling about or being stationed somewhere that is potentially dangerous. Your comparison does indicate that mentally, physically and emotionally you do match quite nicely and that you are going through a period that is favorable for settling down and making a commitment. I wrote to you a couple of times before. I'm not sure if you received my letters or not. Anyways, I need you to answer a question concerning my friendship with my girlfriend. I want to know if we are compatible and if she's being a true friend to me. I get the feeling that she lies to me and is trying to avoid me because she doesn't want anything to do with me. Could you please tell me if this is true and if it is, why is that? How does she really feel about me and our friendship? I thought that we were compatible because we're both born on the cusp. I was born on June 21,1974 at 6:26 p.m and she was born October 23,1971. Is she more of a Libra or a Scorpio or do I need a birth time for that? I can understand your concern. The comparison wasn't all that great and there is definitely an element of sorrow and possible deception regarding this connection. The deception however could be your view of the relationship. You may not be looking at this union in the same way that she is. I believe that you may be taking it far more seriously and this can lead to future problems. You may want to rethink your motives and your intentions before you try to move forward with this person. You match up well to those born under the signs Gemini, Sagittarius and Aquarius.

Every time I read my horoscope, there is one thing I'd like to know...That's why I'm writing to you, I was born February 2, 1977, at 5:00 AM. Whenever we are unsure of our future, we look up our horoscope. Then, it might only be 50% correct, however, at least we can get to know little,...then for example, people who have financial luck do not have to work and people who don't have, they have to work throughout their lives...Of course we can not just reply on horoscope...we can just get help from it... If our fate is already determined, then what should we do?

Good question. Astrology is a mathematical science and an interpretive art. Only God can determine how long ones life will last but some of the things that we go through in life are determined by what we do as individuals. In your particular case your chart indicates that you are very bright and capable of making a lot of money through investments over the years. You will be in a high cycle regarding learning and educational pursuits as well as travel between now and the July of next year. You should also be looking at all your options regarding your career and job prospects between now and the end of 2001. You can make favorable professional changes if you put your mind to it. You should be careful however that you don't overspend foolishly over the next year and a half on social activities, entertainment, gambling or luxury items. If you can budget wisely until the end of next year you will be in a good position to invest in a worthwhile venture that should be quite prosperous. As you can see, there are good times and bad times to be doing certain things throughout your life. It isn't necessarily true that one person's chart is better than someone else's is but more so that one has better timing than the other does. Astrology can help you decipher when it is the best time to start something new or make a change or take advantage of an opportunity. As I have said many times, the ancient art of astrology is the modern art of timing.
