I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I really need your help. I just celebrated my birthday and I could ask for little more than a response to brighten my day. I was recently proposed to by a wonderful man whom I used to date in high school. (November 4th, 2000)We have very much kept in touch. He told me not too long ago that he has been in love with me for a year. He was born on February 3rd, 1981 at 4:39am. He currently resides in Turkey, where he is stationed until next month. Then he will be back home in New Mexico on his base. I was born at 7:04am on November 15th, 1981. I am 97% sure that I will say yes, but I suppose that other 3% is waiting on a sign. I can think of no better sign than a response from you. I have heard speeches from every possible angle about how I should enjoy being young and that I shouldn't get serious. The thing is, I enjoy being serious. Its one of my goals in life to marry a loving husband, and he is in front of my eyes. I would greatly appreciate a response from you that would help me in either direction. I would love to see what the stars have lined up for us. I will be anxiously awaiting your response.

You are a serious person and I can see by your chart that you want to be in love, get married, have a family and live happily ever after. I do believe however that although the comparison is good that uncertainties are also present and the fact that you are looking for a sign to tell you to go for it means that as sure as you think you are you do have some reservations. I believe that you will accept his proposal and that you will marry your Aquarius partner but I also believe that for as much as you have in common there will be some obstacles along the way. Those could perhaps be his constant traveling about or being stationed somewhere that is potentially dangerous. Your comparison does indicate that mentally, physically and emotionally you do match quite nicely and that you are going through a period that is favorable for settling down and making a commitment. Why are Virgos so uptight and difficult to have a relationship? I noticed that on every Sun Sign Page under "in the game of love" that every sign has difficulty with Virgos. Am I doomed to be single for years and years? How can I tell if I am the way YOU say I am? I was born September 16, 1982, at 11:56 am.

No one is exactly like his or her sun sign and we all have a little bit of each sign in our character. In your case you have just as much Libra in your chart as you do Virgo with a strong Scorpio and Sagittarius influence as well. Now I happen to think that is a very nice combination. The Virgo in your chart falls in an area that deals with society and how far you'll get. It's what we refer to as your limelight house. Virgo being the practical and fastidious sign that it is should be an asset in that area of your chart. With Scorpio rising you will have a do or die attitude at times but the Sagittarius and Libra in your chart will chill you out and give you a diplomatic manner that is hard to resist. There is no reason why you can't have a good relationship with other signs however the ones you happen to match up to the best are Aries, Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces. You can't take your sun sign so literally. You will be coming into a high cycle where love and romance are concerned this fall so get out and mingle and you should meet someone who is right for you. The past two and a half years would have been difficult where love was concerned due to a Saturn transit but that will be leaving your chart in June making such encounters much easier.

I was born on the first day of Libra ? September 23, 1968 at 2:25 pm. I feel I have many characteristics of Libra, but I also feel that I have many characteristics of Virgo. Is it possible to know how much of each sign is predominant? My boyfriend, on his turn, was born on the last day of Virgo, September 22. Is it a good match as far as the stars are concerned? He seems to have commitment problems, what I do not see as typical of Virgo.

Without your boyfriends year of birth it is hard to say whether he is more Virgo or Libra. Also without having his accurate birth time he could be a Virgo or a Libra by Sun sign as well. The dates used in the newspaper are standard but certainly not exact. Some years the Sun will pass into the next constellation one day earlier or later which is something that most people don?t realize. In your case you were born at 0 degrees 44 minutes into the sign Libra and you also have the Moon, Venus and Mercury in that sign. On the other hand you have Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in the sign Virgo so yes you are right to feel very split between the two signs. With your Saturn in Aries, your Neptune in Scorpio and Aquarius rising the predominant influence will definitely be Libra followed by Virgo with Aquarius, Aries and Scorpio trailing behind. If your boyfriend has his planets situated primarily in Virgo and Leo you will match up better than if he has them situated in Virgo and Libra. Even as it stands with him being born on the 22nd of September his natal Sun will fall in your eighth house and that is not usually the best placement for a long term relationship unless the comparison is extremely high.
