I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I really need your help. I just celebrated my birthday and I could ask for little more than a response to brighten my day. I was recently proposed to by a wonderful man whom I used to date in high school. (November 4th, 2000)We have very much kept in touch. He told me not too long ago that he has been in love with me for a year. He was born on February 3rd, 1981 at 4:39am. He currently resides in Turkey, where he is stationed until next month. Then he will be back home in New Mexico on his base. I was born at 7:04am on November 15th, 1981. I am 97% sure that I will say yes, but I suppose that other 3% is waiting on a sign. I can think of no better sign than a response from you. I have heard speeches from every possible angle about how I should enjoy being young and that I shouldn't get serious. The thing is, I enjoy being serious. Its one of my goals in life to marry a loving husband, and he is in front of my eyes. You are a serious person and I can see by your chart that you want to be in love, get married, have a family and live happily ever after. I do believe however that although the comparison is good that uncertainties are also present and the fact that you are looking for a sign to tell you to go for it means that as sure as you think you are you do have some reservations. I believe that you will accept his proposal and that you will marry your Aquarius partner but I also believe that for as much as you have in common there will be some obstacles along the way. Those could perhaps be his constant traveling about or being stationed somewhere that is potentially dangerous. Your comparison does indicate that mentally, physically and emotionally you do match quite nicely and that you are going through a period that is favorable for settling down and making a commitment. I have been separated and divorced from my Capricorn ex-husband (January 12, 1953, 10:23 a.m.) for seven years. We have two daughters together, one nineteen (September 13, 11.22 a.m. living with him and one (Feb 10, 1985, 10:53 a.m.) living with me. It has been a difficult divorce and caused much pain for all of us. Not my idea. I have been on my own ever since. I have dated occasionally but never got past the first date. I recently gave up the house and moved into a small apartment so my daughter could be nearer her father and sister. She is much happier, has a boyfriend and I rarely see her. Two weeks ago I went to an English Country Dance and was approached by an older gentleman (January 1, 1934, 12:15 a.m.) who has been courting me ever since. He takes me dancing and for dinner. He is an ex drama and English teacher, and an actor. Teaching drama and English is the profession I have just completed training for, and I have a background in acting and film. He loves to travel as do I. He has been separated from his wife of 18 years for one year. My concern is that he is another Capricorn, and I am a Cancer (July 14, 1943, 6:05 p.m.) I have Saturn in Gemini opposition Moon in the seventh house and that means difficulty in relationships. I think I may get myself into trouble again in a relationship with another Capricorn. He is sweet and kind and generous and seems to like me a lot. I have been alone for seven years, putting my daughter and my education first. Is this a father thing? Does it have a chance? Should I just enjoy it for the time being and not expect anything? I am used to a younger man, but nobody that age is interested in a fifty-seven year old woman with a teenaged daughter. I look much younger. Should I accept this graciously, or keep looking. Do you see another major relationship for me, or just casual dating? Is this the one?

Your Capricorn friend only has his natal Sun in that sign. He has a strong Aquarius influence with his Mercury in the youthful playboy sign Sagittarius. Keep in mind as well that most Capricorn's are old when they are young and young when they are old. This is not an ordinary man and you do match up quite well to him. I feel that there is some deception in this relationship, however I believe that it is within you not him. You are coming into a high cycle regarding love and relationships in May and June of next year. Until that time I suggest you let this relationship develop and see how you feel at that time. If you feel that you can't get past the age difference I suggest that you move on, as new possibilities are likely at that time. Please clarify why some astrologers claim Taurus and Scorpio are not compatible at all, while others will claim that this relationship will either be "all" good or "all bad. I am a Taurus born May 3 1948 at 12 AM and he is Scorpio. We are planning on living together soon. Being I love him dearly, I want us to have the happiness we were denied in our previous marriage to other partners and want to make this work for us. For some reason, I feel I will have to put more effort into this relationship than he will, and I don't mind as long as this union is permanent, honest, loving, and we can share our dreams and future together. Considering the fact that you did not submit your Scorpio's birth data I can't tell you much about your connection with one another and I suggest that you let the compatibility feature on my web site do that for you. I can however tell you that your chart indicates that you fall in love quickly and you do make mistakes where love is concerned. With what your chart is going through currently I would be cautious because you are extremely changeable right now. In other words you may not feel the same way two years from now therefore if it isn't important to get married I would suggest that you keep your finances and other important issues separate for the time being. At your age living together with the right legal documentation is probably your best bet. I can understand your attraction to the sign Scorpio with your natal Moon being in Pisces but your Venus is in Gemini conjunct your natal Uranus therefore I have to wonder if your Scorpio partner has any Sagittarius in his chart. You are obviously quite a catch so don't sell yourself short or think that you have to do more work than he does. Partnership is a shared investment, if it becomes one-sided it usually doesn't work.
