I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I was born on October 25, 1962 at 1:20 p.m. and I am writing you to see if you can help me. I have had a pretty rough life, and decided three years ago that I would do what I have always wanted and that is to be an actress. I have since been on television and film sets and have seen numerous people that others would love to see, and have actually met a few and had conversations with them. That is all fine and grand, but I have had a job offer from a Model Management company and am now the regional manager for them. What I want to know is am I ever going to get a speaking part for television or film and make it as a working actress. I really want to make this life time dream come true. I am starting college in January to get a degree in Dramatic Arts. I have been approached by clairvoyants telling me they can help me, that I am in my lucky time and they can help me succeed, but they of course want money that I don't have. So could you please tell me if I am on the right path and if I will ever make it as a working actress. This has been my life long dream and I want it very badly, more than anything in life. Could you please help and help me with your insight to this matter.

You are coming into a high cycle regarding career and professional moves. These will begin to occur toward the end of the summer next year and continue for approximately five years. It will be important to give it your all and to do the appropriate leg-work in order to get to where you want to go. Hard work, determination and pushing to meet the right people will be required. You have been and will continue to be in a high cycle regarding your educational pursuits for the better part of next year. Success is not always measured by fame and fortune it is truly the person who loves what they do for a living that is successful. Therefore consider your reason for wanting to pursue this career because it isn't an easy path. I read the letters and the answers and am always very impressed by you. I was born on 1/12/51 at 5:35 p.m. Here is my dilemma. Things are not going well at work right now and I have a feeling that my supervisor is trying to force me to quit. I have had a couple of job offers, one involving a move. At my age changing jobs and moving is very scary. I am so depressed right now and do not know what to do. Can you help me decide if changing jobs or moving would be a good thing or should I hang in at work and hope things will get better. I don't want to make the wrong decision. I can understand your reluctance to move especially if you have friends and family around you but if you are basically alone I feel that it may be to your benefit. You didn?t mention how distant a move it might be and that would make a difference, if it is a move made from one state to another or further the change could actually be quite good for you. Making a move from one company to another or one part of town to another will not be as favorable. Regarding your job prospects it is apparent that whatever you decide to do things will be a little unnerving. I feel that opportunities are present and that whether you stay or go improvements are likely to unfold in the short term. Your depression stems from transiting Saturn moving toward your ascendant and opposite your natal Mercury and squaring your natal Saturn and Neptune. This has caused confusion as well as uncertainties about your future. Having the sign Cancer rising it is difficult for you to pick up and move or to even accept change but sometimes that?s exactly what?s required in order to move into the next phase of your life. It?s never all good ? life doesn?t work that way but it should be interesting to say the least so consider your options and research the possibility of making a move.

Over the past 4 years or so my life has been going in a downward spiral. I lost my father; my wife (through divorce) and I don't see my daughter. I lost my job as a software engineer. I know, like most, that you take the rough with the smooth in life. Now I'm at a stage where I feel completely lost and without direction. My finances have hit rock bottom. This is in stark contrast to about 12 years ago when life was almost great! Over recent years it seems that whatever I do just doesn't work. My question is will my life ever improve? Any help or guidance you can offer will be appreciated. I was born June 18, 1969 at 6 am.

Several planets have added to your down spiral the past eight years and although these transits in your chart aren't completely gone things do appear to be getting better. Part of the problem the past four years is that transiting Saturn has been passing through an area of your chart that can cause major depression and if your state of mind is bad because of this you will in turn attract negativity. This will lift off towards the end of the summer when you should start to feel some relief, but that doesn't mean that everything will turn around instantly. It will take work, effort and time on your part to make the difference. You appear to be lonely and this has also contributed to your depression. Trying to get involved with someone the past several years would have been difficult. With your natal Venus being adversely aspected by transiting Neptune sorrow within relationships was likely, not to mention the confusion you must have been experiencing. This is now lifting off and by the fall you will be in a much better position to meet someone who will be good for you and help to brighten your life. You match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces.
