I'm seventeen and I should be deciding what I want to study. I was four years old when I decided that I wanted to be an elementary school teacher, and I still want to be one, but lately I have started to think that I want something else. Maybe I would be better in another job. I don't know anymore, if I want to be a teacher. I mean I can be pretty stubborn. And stayed in my ways. Perhaps I am just trying to complete what I think I should be doing. I just don't know what to do. I don't want to think later on, that I made a wrong decision. Please help me... Education, communication, travel, teaching, publishing, journalism are all areas that you would do well in. I do however understand why you automatically thought that you would like to teach from a very young age. Your chart denotes that you have several planets in an area that deals with teaching children. It shows dedication, caring, openness, understanding and an ability to fight for what the young people today need so desperately. You have plenty to offer and you can make a difference to the educational system, which you have to admit, does need improvement. You should aim to follow your first choice however you have a lot of life ahead of you so don't rule out a few of your other choices as well. If you can teach in a foreign country for a period of time or travel with your students or work toward making amendments to the system you will get the satisfaction you desire by following your future goals.

Dear Eugenia:

I wrote to you once before, but it appears my letter was overlooked. I'm beginning to feel a little stressed over a situation that appears to be inevitable in my love life. I'm a Sagittarius, born December 2, 1961 at 9:45 p.m. A few years ago I met a wonderful man at work. He's a Gemini; born June 2, 1960 (I'm not sure of the time). I have a wonderful connection with this man--when we talk we're so connected that we finish each other's sentences. I also feel a strong connection in that I can feel his energy around me when he's not there. I've never felt this way with anyone before---not even my ex-husband. He was going through his divorce about the same time I was (shortly after we met), and we've been friends since then. I would like a romantic relationship with him, and I feel he wants one with me too but he seems to take two steps forward and then hold back. I can only assume this is because he's cautious of being hurt again. He won't reveal the reason to me. About six weeks ago, I met another man (Scorpio, born November 9, 1964, I don't know the time). We've talked a lot on the phone and started to date. I don't feel the same attraction with the Scorpio that I do with the Gemini, but the Scorpio is more "forward" in his approach which I really like. He also is not afraid to talk about his feelings, which I think is very important. I like him a lot--he's very sweet, considerate, intelligent and fun. I intend to keep dating the Scorpio. Can you tell me if the Gemini will ever step forward the way I've always hoped he would?I dread making choices between men, but I can almost see how this will play out. You are still going through a very unstable period where relationships are concerned. To try to make a decision at this time would probably end in a negative spin. Both comparisons were just adequate. I think that you can do much better. I am currently going through a divorce and I feel that the financial burden being imposed on me is unfair. Also, I fear that my wife will leave the state with my children making it even more difficult for me to see them. My question is two fold. Will I be able to financially afford what she is asking for and still have a place of my own to take the kids? And, do you believe she will move the kids out of state?

You didn't submit your wife or children's birth information making it difficult for me to know what she will do. What I can tell you is that your financial limitations are still present between now and the summer of next year however after that time it is evident that you should be able to swing whatever settlement or agreement you make with her. I believe there is a law that does not allow one parent to take the children more than X amount of miles away from the other parent if you have joint custody however this may change from state to state. Your chart indicates that you should be focusing on your professional goals and that if you are diligent about getting ahead you can be successful over the next four years. I do believe that your wife will try to restrict your visitation rights between now and the end of the summer of next year. You must fight this and do whatever is necessary to be as much a part of your children's lives as you can. If you live close to one another it isn't uncommon these days to have the children with you half the time and with her the other half. In that case you should not have to pay support because you are both equally raising your children. There are many routes to take however if she has left you because of infidelity or other damaging or cruel reasons you will end up paying dearly so get working towards professional advancement now so that you can cover the costs. Don't let the uncertainty or depression regarding your failing marriage deter you from getting involved with new partners or develop new friendships. It is important for you to get on with your life.
