For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I am a great fan of yours. You seem to provide enough info about the future so people can make sense of their lives. I am one of those people. I am truly confused. The beginning Dec. 6 of 1999 I meet a young man who had responded to a personal ad I had posted. Once we got talking I had a sense that this person was my soul mate. We could write e-mails that could make a book within days. Well I decided to visit him over my spring break. The experience was great, but he recently told me that him and his ex girlfriend are slowly getting back together. I was wondering if we still have a chance and if not how can I move on? You are coming into a high cycle where love and romance are concerned during the summer months and once again during the first half of next year. This transit can cause past partners to come back into your life as well however I would not recommend that you bother waiting for your Pisces friend. You did not match up well with him. For the past 3 years, I have been under almost unbearable stress. During this time, my husband committed suicide and left me with astronomical debts; 6 mos. later my mother who has dementia came to live with me; I have dealt with serious problems with my children and am trying to make a go of my husband's business that was near bankrupt at the time of his death. I am almost to the BREAKING POINT! Will there be any relief from these pressures? Can I look forward to a brighter future? I was born April 23, 1947, at 5:20 PM.

You do have plenty on your plate but you also show great strength, wisdom and courage and I know you will make it through. I do believe that the absolute worst is over but there is still plenty of hard work to do. The area of your chart that deals with work and money is coming into a higher cycle over the next two years and you should be able to make headway in that regard. Also opportunities to learn, travel and to sign legal contracts will be present somewhat over the next few months however if these do not go manifest in full it will come to pass next year. Your children will continue to challenge you somewhat but they are unique and need to follow their own paths. As for your mother you will have to consider alternatives regarding institutions. There is only so much that you can do and at this point you must put yourself and your children first. You did not submit your mother or your children's birth data so I can not give you more information regarding them. I do feel however that if you are willing to work hard this year you will see results throughout 2001.

I am currently on a complete roller coaster ride with a guy that I am dating and am not sure which way to go with it, ie, should I keep 'riding' in hopes of a commitment or walk away and not look back. My intentions weren't to get involved with a man 10 years younger than me but I absolutely adore him and care for him. I have friends who are happily married to men who were 'difficult' in the beginning and they are in complete bliss now. Does this person look as though he could be a 'long term' or do our charts state otherwise. Any input would be a HUGE help.

The comparison with your Cancer man was adequate but did show signs of sorrow in an area of your chart that deals with friends, family, work associates and communication. This can result in some deception and dishonesty about true feelings and what else is going on when he isn't with you. There are a lot of uncertainties that are going through your chart right now with regards to continuing this relationship. You are at a place in your life where you want to settle down. He is going through some major turmoil regarding taking that step. He was born with his natal Neptune opposite his natal Venus and that usually means that he can be a bit of a player, especially with his Venus being in the sign Gemini and his Neptune in Sagittarius. Without his time of birth I cannot tell you exactly how this will manifest itself in his chart but in yours I believe that he could eventually cheat. I usually like younger men older women relationships or the other way around, but in this case I do believe that you should not put up with anything that he dishes out and that you should keep your door open for a possible new love connection because your chart indicates that you are in a high cycle where meeting new partners or having someone you cared about from your past coming back into your life. If you are tied up with your Cancer friend you aren't likely to be in a position to move onto someone who will treat you better. Regarding your friends who are happily married to difficult men - you'd have to be a fly on the wall to really know how good or bad their relationships are. The grass always looks greener on the other side. You match up better to those born under the signs Aries, Leo, Libra and Aquarius.
