For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

I am a great fan of yours. You seem to provide enough info about the future so people can make sense of their lives. I am one of those people. I am truly confused. The beginning Dec. 6 of 1999 I meet a young man who had responded to a personal ad I had posted. Once we got talking I had a sense that this person was my soul mate. We could write e-mails that could make a book within days. Well I decided to visit him over my spring break. The experience was great, but he recently told me that him and his ex girlfriend are slowly getting back together. I was wondering if we still have a chance and if not how can I move on? Everything I have read states that I am not compatible with a Libra and that we should not be attracted to each other. If this is true how come the attraction to this Libra is so strong?

Astrological compatibility is often misinterpreted due to Sun Sign astrology. Although matching up Sun Signs can be fun it isn't accurate. In your case you have Libra rising with two planets in that sign and the Sign Aries in an area of your chart that deals with relationships making you compatible to both Libra and Aries. In the case of your Libra friend he has his Moon in Scorpio compatible to your Cancer Sun and natal Mars. His natal Venus is in Scorpio another water sign compatible to your Cancer Sun and Mars. I must caution however that the entire comparison isn't favorable. Like all relationships problems exist. Although I believe that you are both being honest with one another you are obviously having an affair and you aren't being honest with your other partners. You should back up and get your current relationships in order before you go any further.

I feel like I've missed my chance with my soul mate. I met him two years ago and I haven't been able to stop thinking about him. We never spoke more than two sentences to each other, but there was this attraction that basically knocked me off my feet. I feel that he IS my soul mate but I'm not quite sure. Well anyway we were mutually shy around each other and before I knew it, we had to part.
