I am a great fan of yours. You seem to provide enough info about the future so people can make sense of their lives. I am one of those people. I am truly confused. The beginning Dec. 6 of 1999 I meet a young man who had responded to a personal ad I had posted. Once we got talking I had a sense that this person was my soul mate. We could write e-mails that could make a book within days. Well I decided to visit him over my spring break. The experience was great, but he recently told me that him and his ex girlfriend are slowly getting back together. I was wondering if we still have a chance and if not how can I move on? I am at a very strange point in my life, which feels very chaotic--sometimes as though it is moving in a positive direction, and sometimes as though it is very stagnant.
I am entering my third year of university, studying art, art history, and German. I'm at a point at which I really need to figure out what it is I want to do long-term. I feel pressure from my family to make this decision (mainly on my mother's side, though my mother and I are almost entirely out-of-touch, as she is with her sister and parents). I also feel internal pressure, as though I may feel more confident and clear-headed if I can make a commitment and develop some sort of plan to pursue my education and career beyond this point. Basically, I am feeling directionless, confused, and as though I have no solid ground to fall back on. I worry a lot about my mother, but cannot stay in contact with her, as she is experiencing a time of sever financial difficulties and, as a result, has no phone line, disallowing contact by phone or email. (She was born August 11, 1950.) All I can say about my desires for the future is that I want to be involved in art --the only thing that is truly fulfilling for me. I would love to be a professional artist, but that is risky and I do not want to put myself into a situation of financial despair. I have seen both of my parents struggle throughout my entire life thus far.
In addition to these feelings, I am having a difficult time romantically. I have been seeing a man (born February 6th, 1977) for about 6 months. Though we connect very well intellectually, we are both very busy. I have a hectic work, school and homework schedule, while he is very social and constantly has plans to go out with friends, which he views as obligations. He therefore has little time to spend with me during the time I actually have free and is frustrated that I never want to go out and party with him and his friends. I think that, due to our different lifestyles, we may not be able to reconcile this, though I care for him very much and when we are together, he seems to feel the same way. My luck with men isn't too good and upon our initially getting together, I was excited to finally meet someone I could connect with, who was intelligent, observant, and who seemed to share so many interests.
Do you see any end to the constant stress, chaos and frustration resulting from my present life and relationships, as well as my attempting to sort out my future endeavors?

You are a strong Libra. All your natal planets in that sign are in an area of your chart that deals with higher education, travel, philosophy, immigration and different cultures. That being said it isn't surprising that you are waffling about your future and your educational pursuits. I believe however that you must get on with it and finish whatever you have already begun. Your chart indicates that you should be in school or at least in a learning environment for the next two years although I do believe that you will be able to pick up work in the field of your choice beginning next year. This could lead to an apprenticeship, learning on the job or working and continuing your education. I believe that it is important to follow your dream however it is also necessary to support your addiction to your art/dream/etc. You are still young and have time. Your chart indicates that if you finish school this next year that the following year will still be a learning experience for you - possibly a chance to move to Germany where you can put your second language to use while you pursue a position in at a gallery or in some other area that relates to the arts. I've been dating/seeing three women. I've been intimately with only one (I'll call her #3) of them and that is basically all I wanted from her. When I decided in my mind to stop having relations with her and pursue a serious relationship with #2 #3 tells me she is pregnant. We've had protected sex every time (at least 8 occasions) except for a few minutes on one occasion. #3 tells me she hasn't been w/ anyone else other than me. I've made mistakes and bad choices in my 30 years to last me a lifetime. I don't want to bring a child into this world under these circumstances. I wanted to married and have a planned pregnancy w/ my wife. I don't plan on pursuing a serious relation w/ #3 and I'm not going to sell myself short by doing so. #3 took a home pregnancy test in my presence, but I don't know if this child is mine or not. This is truly an unfortunate set of circumstances to be in, even more so because you actually match up quite nicely to this woman astrologically. I feel you owe it to yourself as well as to her to be completely honest and tell her that your intentions are to not marry her or to be involved in this child's life should she decide to have the baby. This may sound cruel but there are enough youngsters already living in an unhappy environment because of the stupidity of parents who choose to not get along or shouldn't be together for one reason or another. Although the ideal situation is always to have two loving parents it is still better to have one loving parent instead of two who are not in love or care about one another. I would need to know when she became pregnant in order to determine whether or not you are the father but even that information can be misleading. Your chart indicates that you probably are however if she should decide to keep the baby you should probably have a DNA test done. You should have submitted candidate #2 so that I could have determined whether or not you even match up to her as well as you do to #3. As I mentioned already you do match up to #3 quite well and it is unfortunate that you used this girl for sexual reasons. I feel that she really does believe that you are the one for her.
