I cannot even start to tell you how big a mistake it would be for you to take this connection and try to turn it into something more. I don't have a problem with the age difference but I do have a problem with your comparison. It indicates that deception, disillusionment and yes a one sided infatuation is likely. I have written several times; hopefully I will be one of the lucky ones this time. I have been married without children for 5 years now.
