It's about my job. I moved to a new advertising company on March 2. I have been working in an advertising company as a copywriter.
However, because of personal reasons, I changed to the IT industry last year, Oct 2000. I thought I ran out of creativity while working in this advertising company, thus, I joined the business planning department of the IT company. Well, I'm changing again to advertising area due to financial reasons. However, since my company will be in a larger city, it's very different from the atmosphere I'm used to. Although I have settled down in the larger city, I'm afraid of facing the new environment. This new city is still not familiar to me. The new company will demand much more output from me. I am in need of some advice/help/ something. My husband and I spilt last October, after 9 years. It wasn't a very nice spilt to say the least. But he has finally moved on and has a new life and a new girlfriend.
Me, I am working now and my daughter and I finally have a place of our own instead of living with family. We live pay check to pay check. It's not the greatest of apartments, but it's mine and I know one day we'll have better.
I am ready to move on with my personal life, but am having difficulty. My imagination gets ahead of me, and I don't know if it's because I'm just out of the swing of things, or it's because I came out of a really bad relationship. Ok so its been a long couple of weeks (maybe I should say long couple of months) -- basically I've been out partying and having a lot of fun...But lately, I realized that everything around me ends up circling back to the person I "LOATHED" the most in this world. You are destroying yourself and holding yourself back because of the inability to let go of something that is not changeable at the moment.
