I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Sometimes I feel confused, I want to be an actress and I want to complete my college education but the question is where? In San Diego or Los Angeles. I feel whatever school I get accepted to I'm going for it no matter where I am. I feel that I can do it. I feel like I'm going in the right direction but my question to you is am I going in the right direction, is the path that I am taking positive. I was born May 22, 1974, at 8:09 PM.

Your chart does show talent in an area that deals with radio, film and television, especially over the next few years. This is not the time to be sitting idle but instead a period that you must be willing to focus on your goals and prepare to do whatever is necessary in order to get ahead. You must not sit and think about it. Get yourself moving. You will do well in your educational pursuits as long as you focus on your goals. I also feel strongly that you should be signing up with an agent who can start you moving in the direction that you want to go. Hands on experience will turn out to be some of your best training. You are certainly suited to act, however you have other talents to discover and consider. Writing is also a strong possibility. Your communication skills look quite promising as well as prosperous. Your biggest draw back will be your inability to recognize what your greatest talents are. You will have to be far more critical when it comes to your talent if you ever expect to become an expert in the field of entertainment. Don't tell everyone how good you are. Be critical of yourself but be sure to keep your confidence level up. If you believe in yourself, I believe you can make it.

Dear Eugenia:
I sincerely hope that you can find some order in my swirling mass of chaotic emotions. I am a Taurus woman (born May 6, 1971 at 1:36 p.m.) that was deeply hurt last year by a Cancer (July 10, 1968) whom I thought I was going to marry, and then by a Capricorn (January 14, 1971) who lied to me, yet still shows up in my life now and then and tells me how much he misses me (and he has a girlfriend now too - a Pisces). I don't mean to sound bitter, but I feel that my relationships are always doomed to failure, and every time I get knocked down (figuratively speaking, of course), it gets a little harder to stand back up again. I'm starting to feel a little better about myself, but I am still wounded by the fact that Mr. Cancer didn't want to marry me because of my medical condition (I'm diabetic), and it was his parents that forced him to break up with me. I want to feel good about myself again, and I don't want to be lonely anymore: I feel that I am ready to start a relationship - one that would hopefully lead to a future marriage. My question is this: should I actively pursue relationships at this time, or do I need a little more time to concentrate on myself and my well-being? If you could give me some insight into the next six months (if possible), you could help ease my troubled mind a little so I can focus on a positive direction in my life.

You are best to get the Cancer out of your mind. If he wasn't strong enough to stand up for you when his family discouraged him you have to know that he wasn't right for you. The Capricorn was really someone who was meant to be a social acquaintance. As for the signs best suited to you consider a Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio or Pisces. You are in a high cycle for meeting someone new right now however that transit will only be with you until late May. After that I suggest that you focus on yourself, your career and your home. You will be in another high cycle from mid July on for the next couple of years.

I have dated. I have been engaged a few times but never married (I think I always took marriage too seriously -- and never could promise to do all that marriage entails). I had a loving relationship with a man who had a terminal illness, who died in '95. I have always kept the door open in my heart that I might find a life-long partner, but now I wonder: should I shut the door on this option? I'm not afraid of being alone. You should never close the door on love, romance, marriage, partnership etc. One of the reasons why you have gone the route but never crossed the line when it came to marriage is due to having your natal Uranus in an area of your chart that deals with relationships opposite your Sun in an area of your chart that deals with your personal outlook. This has probably caused you or your partners throughout life to back away or have a change of heart at the last minute. With transiting Saturn moving into that area of your chart there has never been a better time to find love and get serious then now. Also with your Moon in the sign Virgo it isn't unusual for you to find love or get into a serious relationship during the second half of life. In your case you are moving into a high cycle regarding love right now and you should be out meeting new people. This particular transit can also bring someone from your past back into your life so perhaps if there is someone you still think about you should readdress this relationship. In the past the timing was probably wrong with this person. This is a great year for you creatively, educationally and where growth is concerned. You should be expanding your circle of friends, getting involved in discussions or courses that will alter your philosophy, attitude, lifestyle and outlook. You are going through changes and that is part of the reason you are feeling somewhat concerned or restless about finding love or backing away from it completely.
