I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I am going to university in the autumn, but am feeling very confused over whether or not the course I am studying will be right for me. I will be studying Law, but do not really want to continue with it as a career. I have no idea where I am going in my life, and would appreciate any advice you could give. I do see your dilemma and although law isn't a bad choice if you don't feel that it is what you want to do with your life you need to rethink your game plan. Your chart also indicates that you would do well in the communication or travel industries. You might enjoy teaching, traveling, working in the arts or some form of work that is a little unusual. If you decide to follow through with law I suggest that you consider entertainment law, litigation or working with law enforcement. You do have favorable transits moving through your chart regarding educational pursuits and you should keep in mind that anything you study or learn will never be a waste. The question is can you afford to study law and continue to educate yourself in other fields as well. Your chart also indicates that you could work within the field of medicine or nutrition however I believe that your concern may be where you will eventually end up making the most money. If this is the case I want you to also keep in mind that if you don't enjoy what you are doing for a living that the money may not be worth the aggravation.

My long-term question is that electronic astrology programs mention that I have latent undiscovered psychic or spiritual abilities. My AstroAdvice Natal Analysis says, "You can use your psychic abilities to get ahead in the world" and rates it 90%. I heard a suggestion that meditation can awaken this ability which could improve my environment and let me help myself as well as others. My interest in this subject is mainly spiritual as I have strong interests in improving myself spiritually. In your opinion and from your experience, how may I do so?My medium term question is my choice of career. Would my choice of career affect psychic or spiritual development (above question)? I wish to pursue electrical engineering.
My short-term question is that on 13th July 2000 and 18th July 2000 I suffered two minor accidents, the latter being one involving a motor vehicle. Is the time right for me to be on the road driving a motor vehicle? I was born June 17, 1980, at 2:54 PM.

Your chart does indicate Psychic ability however it appears to be in an area that deals with your well being and investments. Regarding helping you in your professional pursuits I think you have a natural ability to excel. You should do well in your chosen field and although you will have to work hard over the next couple of years you should find that between 2002 and 2008 you will have all kinds of opportunities to get ahead. I do not believe that your professional obligations will stand in the way of your spiritual or psychic growth. You should find that you will begin to expand your awareness in psychic areas next summer and this will set your spiritual course for years to come. Just because someone does well in business or has a career that is analytical does not mean that he or she cannot reach as high a spiritual or psychic level. You may want to take an interest course next year that will help you develop your intuitive abilities even further. Concerning your accidents I feel it was due to transiting Mars conjunct your natal Mercury in a transportation area of your chart. This particular transit can also cause arguments with friends or relatives, problems while traveling or difficulties with teachers. Although it has moved on for the time being it is something that can occur from time to time.

I'm a Pisces born February 22, 1964 at 4:30 am, 40 years old and never married and I just met a wonderful man who wants to have children, and might I add, right away. He says we don't have much time since we are both older. He is a Capricorn born in the Philippines Dec 29, 1964 and I admire the way he takes charge, but I was actually leaning towards not having children. The whole concept frightens me, and I am getting older and I am such a Pisces, flitting from thing to thing and never really accomplishing any one concrete direction, fairly successful in my own right, but wonder how I ever am, since I tend to overextend myself and do way too many things at once. I long for someone to help me take charge of my life, simplify it, and make it more relaxed, but I wonder if I am drawn towards him for his steadiness and clarity of direction, his responsibility, his success, and if I choose to be with him, I may end up in a worse situation (overextended, more complicated, less peace and less focus). At 40 I still don't feel I have any clear direction. But if I had to say what I really wanted to do with myself, it would be get up late, jog around the lake, work for a few hours, drive around, read a book, chat with some friends, and walk by the beach. I don't know if having a family would be high on that list, and I think it would just be to satisfy his desire to have a family. But then again, if I don't have a child I wonder if I would regret it when I am older, and maybe it might be nice to choose a successful responsible man and start a family instead of drifting around with the romantic irresponsible men I normally am drawn towards. I believe you are over-reacting. Having a baby shouldn't make or break a relationship if you truly love one another. The comparison between you and your Capricorn man was okay but it did show some signs of deception and confusion. I believe you need to communicate more about what you both want out of life. Honesty reigns supreme so you had better start talking and if you both aren't on the same page move on. You are in a high cycle regarding love and meeting potential partners or having someone you used to care about come back into your life. You owe it to yourself to get to the bottom of whether or not you want to settle down with your Capricorn friend or set both of you free so that you can meet new people.
Where work and how you earn your living are concerned you are coming into a much higher cycle beginning the last quarter of this year and throughout next year and it is important that you position yourself so that you can take advantage of the opportunities that come along. Your chart indicates that you are confused. Much of your confusion is due to the fact that you were born with your natal Mercury adversely positioned to your natal Neptune. This causes self-deception especially when it comes to your personal likes and dislikes, how well you can do in society and professionally as well as how you relate to both business and emotional partners.
It may be time to reevaluate who you are, what you want and where you see yourself in ten years. If it isn't taking care of the kids and a husband - move on now.
