I'm sure you are busy replying letters. I will consider your advice carefully if my letter is answered. I have been going out with my boyfriend for 8 years. I was supposed to marry my boyfriend last year. But, I'm the one who suggested reconsidering our marriage. I am negative to marriage, that is, I was afraid that I might lose my freedom. His parents want us to get married soon. However, considering his conservative parents and my non-conservative parents, I think I will have to face some problems after we get married. Am I too selfish? I'm working in the computing machine area. I want to go abroad to continue my study and I want to do many other things. Thus, marriage is not my first priority.
My boyfriend is a conservative man. He wants to take a dominant position in our relationship. I have to do everything for him if I marry him. If there is an exit, I want to escape. However, at the same time, I wonder whether I can live without him. What kind of person am I? Am I too selfish?? He was born on Nov 5, 1974 and I was born November 26, 1974, at 5:30 AM.

Help! I need your advice. My life is a disaster, which actually is just a continuation of last year. My best childhood friend died suddenly from cancer in January. I have been out on disability since October of last year. My financial situation is dire. My employer made false accusations against me and has now stopped paying me. I know they have no intention of allowing me to return to work. I don't know how much more I can take.
I am a single mom and have to support my children, but I feel totally lost. Do you see anything positive occurring in my near future? Everywhere I turn for help or advice, I hit a brick wall. How much longer do I have to endure this gloomy situation? I'm usually a very lucky person. I don't understand what has happened during the past 10 months and I am at my wits end. You should be working towards buying your first home now. Start saving your money and checking out some of the deals that builders are offering. It is apparent that between the summer of next year until the spring of 2004 you should be able to make a move in that direction but please don't wait until that time to start saving and looking. You may just find that your mortgage will be as cheap as your rent. You are in a high cycle regarding your work until mid to late August and it is important to consider making a professional move or ask for a promotion between now and then if you want to try to up your income. This is also the time to consider changing career direction if you aren't happy with your current position. Regarding marriage you have been going through a dry spell during your Saturn return and although you feel as if you should be settling down you still have plenty of time. You will be in a much better position regarding love in 2004. Now that doesn't mean that you won't meet someone before that time but that is when the relationship can become more serious in nature.
