I'm sure you are busy replying letters. I will consider your advice carefully if my letter is answered. I have been going out with my boyfriend for 8 years. I was supposed to marry my boyfriend last year. But, I'm the one who suggested reconsidering our marriage. I am negative to marriage, that is, I was afraid that I might lose my freedom. His parents want us to get married soon. However, considering his conservative parents and my non-conservative parents, I think I will have to face some problems after we get married. Am I too selfish? I'm working in the computing machine area. I want to go abroad to continue my study and I want to do many other things. Thus, marriage is not my first priority.
My boyfriend is a conservative man. He wants to take a dominant position in our relationship. I have to do everything for him if I marry him. If there is an exit, I want to escape. However, at the same time, I wonder whether I can live without him. What kind of person am I? Am I too selfish?? He was born on Nov 5, 1974 and I was born November 26, 1974, at 5:30 AM.
I can do things for him but to be frank, I just want him to do whatever he wants and set him free. And set myself free.

Although the comparison was workable I do believe that your feelings are warranted. Yes, he and his family will stand in the way of your career and if that is what you want to pursue you are best to back out before it's too late. You actually need someone in your life that will allow you the freedom to live life and who is willing to share the same lifestyle that you desire. In Nov of 2000 my son (born April 16, 1984 at 4:10 p.m.) developed a serious mental disease. This has been particularly hard on my younger son (born June 30, 1986 at 12:07 a.m.) and he has decided not to come home anymore because he is treated so poorly by his brother. At the same time my husband, born August 4,1950, has coped with this by staying a work most of his waking hours. To add to the mess he has an employee that he thinks is just perfect and she has been wiggling and giggling her way into our lives for nine years. I have repeatedly asked him to get her out of our lives but he refuses to do so. Since my son's illness started I have been the stay at home mom, nurse, whatever. As well as dealing with my son I also took care of my dad in his last year. He was very sick for a very long time and he had a mitt-full of health issues that made his passing very slow and painful. I have reached a point where all I feel is pain and I am trying to find some way to change my life. Do you have any suggestions - I was born August 24, 1950 at 6:50 PM.

Lets address your relationship with your husband first. You neglected to mention the birth date of his wiggly giggly gal at the office leaving me nothing to work with regarding what's actually going on between them. I can tell you however that last year he was in a cycle that is conducive to having an affair and that he was born with the major sign of sorrow in his chart when it comes to relationships. He does not deal with health issues very well so God forbid he ever get ill himself. He has turned a blind eye on his family when you and your boys needed him the most. This is not the sign of a very strong man or partner and you should seriously consider what you are going to do about your marriage should he not agree to go to counseling to fix the problems you are experiencing. Somehow I don't think he will but you have to ask. With transiting Saturn still moving through an area of his chart that deals with his attitude toward his partner I'd say he is closed to any ideas that suggest fixing what's wrong and is probably in denial because it is the easy way out.
You on the other hand have been a glutton for punishment and you have to put an end to it before you become ill. Being a Virgo it is hard to give in to failure and move on but sometimes it's the only means of survival. The area of your chart that deals with partnerships, marriage etc has been and will continue to go through a make it or break it period so if you don't seek help it is likely to go downhill. You are actually however in a high cycle regarding love this year with transiting Jupiter favorably aspecting your natal Venus however it is not likely that you will get the chance to take advantage of this unless you opt to kick your husband out immediately and move on. It can however help you should you be able to convince your husband to seek help and counseling. Both you and your husband are heading into your second Saturn return during the second half of next year. This is a period of reevaluating your life and making choices that will alter your future. If you both haven't already been thinking along these lines already you will be soon. This period of time will be conducive to making the effort to do something about your relationship or move on. You both went through your first Saturn return in 1979 - if you think back to that time and what you were experiencing it will help you to make the right decision now.
Your sons are a completely different story. There is no excuse for your son with mental disorders to abuse his younger brother and you and your husband should never have let this happen. I have just recently lost my long time partner of 8 yrs born September 25, 1975. He was killed in a snowmobile accident in Dec. I have been feeling miserable and very lost lately. One of his friends who is 12 yrs older then myself born April 26, 1967 has been very comforting and wonderful to me. He is always taking good care of me. Last night I engaged in an intimate relationship with him?but am not sure if I did this because of what I am going through. I feel very guilty about what I have done for it has only been a few months since Andrew's funeral. But I really do have strong feelings for this much older man. I have no idea if this will go anywhere or what is to come next. He has promised me not to push and that the ball is in my court, that no matter what he will always be there for me. Is this wrong? Although you have a wonderful comparison with Andrew much of it is based on how well you got along mentally. Andrew truly loved you for who you are. He had the ability to wager the pros and cons of any situation and could compartmentalize when necessary. His message to you is to move on, if the situation was reversed he would have done so himself. Andrews passing has been a great loss for both you and the older man in your life and together you will keep his memory alive. I believe if Andrew could have picked the person he would have wanted you to spend the rest of your life with it would have been his Taurus friend.
Your comparison with your older man is actually very good. The reason you are attracted to him is because you match up so well physically, mentally and emotionally. This is a man who has grown to love you as you have him. The time factor has nothing to do with anything. Falling in love happens at and under the strangest circumstances and in this case it wouldn't surprise me if Karma has played a role in your life both with Andrew and with your Taurus man. Chances are you would never have met your Taurus if it weren't for his connection to Andrew. Don't feel guilty - life is short and God put us here for a good time not a long time.
