He's a few years older than I am and he has a girlfriend. He's been with her for at least 2 years. We've been dating (having sex) for the past year. I understand why you are so confused. The comparison with your old boyfriend had substance but it wasn't the most favorable. However the comparison with your current boyfriend lacked substance but was better in terms of getting along.
