I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.

This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

This is the third time that I write you. I was born October 10, 1965 at 12:40 am. I am finally working in my chosen career and life it great except for one thing. When will I meet my soul mate? I met someone, his birthday is February 8, 1959 and we have a lot in common. The problem is that there is a woman in his life, November 3, 1960. I was told by a Psychic that she would be leaving. Forget the Aquarius man juggling two women. Neither one of you matches up well to him. In both cases deception is present in your comparisons. I have just recently lost my long time partner of 8 yrs born September 25, 1975. He was killed in a snowmobile accident in Dec. I have been feeling miserable and very lost lately. One of his friends who is 12 yrs older then myself born April 26, 1967 has been very comforting and wonderful to me. He is always taking good care of me. Last night I engaged in an intimate relationship with him?but am not sure if I did this because of what I am going through. I feel very guilty about what I have done for it has only been a few months since Andrew's funeral. But I really do have strong feelings for this much older man. I have no idea if this will go anywhere or what is to come next. He has promised me not to push and that the ball is in my court, that no matter what he will always be there for me. Is this wrong? Although you have a wonderful comparison with Andrew much of it is based on how well you got along mentally. Andrew truly loved you for who you are. He had the ability to wager the pros and cons of any situation and could compartmentalize when necessary. His message to you is to move on, if the situation was reversed he would have done so himself. Andrews passing has been a great loss for both you and the older man in your life and together you will keep his memory alive. I believe if Andrew could have picked the person he would have wanted you to spend the rest of your life with it would have been his Taurus friend.

Your comparison with your older man is actually very good. The reason you are attracted to him is because you match up so well physically, mentally and emotionally. This is a man who has grown to love you as you have him. The time factor has nothing to do with anything. Falling in love happens at and under the strangest circumstances and in this case it wouldn't surprise me if Karma has played a role in your life both with Andrew and with your Taurus man. Dear Eugenia,

My sun sign is in Cancer, I was born July 7, 1979, at 12:15 AM, and I've read enough on astrology to know that I should be compatible with both Virgo and Pisces. My past two relationships were with each, and although lengthy, they proved difficult.I think it may have something to do with my Aries rising. I'm afraid the aggressive nature so common in the ram is a bit intimidating, especially when the aggressor is female. My last fling was with an Aries male, and although at first there were sparks, it quickly diminished. I realize that other aspects affect astrological matchmaking, but I'd like to get your opinion on the matter. What male sign can handle both the Aries stubbornness, and the crab's ultra-sensitivity? Actually in your particular case the Sun sign match up doesn't work all that well. Normally you should get along well with both Virgo and Scorpio. However, the sign Scorpio falls in an area of your chart that deals with dead end projects so it's unlikely to work. To add to this your natal Jupiter and Mercury are in the sign Leo adversely aspected to the sign Scorpio. The sign Virgo falls in an area that deals with work not personal matters such as relationships plus you have your natal Mars in Gemini and your natal Neptune in Sagittarius and that would clearly play havoc with a strong Virgo. Having your natal Sun in the 4th house adversely aspected to your natal Pluto in the 7th leads me to believe that you will have difficulty with relationships. Now that doesn't mean that you can't have a happy union. Especially with your natal Moon, Neptune, Jupiter and Mercury well aspected to the Pluto in your 7th but it does mean that you will have to choose your partner wisely and realize that relationships don't just happen, they require work, dedication, devotion and perseverance. You match up well to those born under the signs, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn and Aquarius. I suggest that you always run a comparison before you decide to get serious and intimate with someone. Although a person can be born under one of these signs it does not mean that they will have a lot of their natal planets in that sign and this could result in difficulties once again.
