I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I have written several times; hopefully I will be one of the lucky ones this time. I have been married without children for 5 years now. Our relationship has many problems, which we have gone to counseling for in the last 2 yrs. Compatibility is an issue since we don't match up that well in our charts (average). I'm thinking of leaving but I'm afraid I'm just repeating old behavior patterns (this is my 2nd marriage). Do you see anything in my chart that would indicate such a thing? You are confused for a number of reasons right now however lets deal with your relationship first. You and your Taurus husband do not match up as well as lovers should. I can see where you may get along like a sister and brother or distant friend but certainly not in any other capacity. Dear Eugenia,
I wrote in a few months back and (thankfully!) I got a reply from you suggesting that I take advantage of my high cycle regarding educational pursuits during from July till next year and I've done just that.
I've been offered a place in a teachers training college and will be doing a BSc (Education) from this July on for 4years. After which I'll have to fulfill another 4years bond teaching. Everything seems too good to be true and I'm all ready to take it but there's this nagging thought that I'm rushing into things. Is this chance of furthering my studies (and later a teaching career) a real break for me or it is just another illusion I've created for myself? I'm actually kind of lost. I've got tons of reasons why I should grab it (circumstances and financial support rendered if I take it up), but also tons of negative thoughts of 'What if's' popping up. My mind is basically a yo-yo between 'grab it' and 'leave it'.
What I'm really into is child psychology and I somehow feel that teaching being rather close to that subject, might be a good experience if ever I want to do a deg. on that area. Does my chart show that it's possible for me to do another deg. in psychology after this? Will I have another high cycle for education, 4yrs later?
Being a firm believer in astrology but having only limited knowledge of this art to do an accurate casting of my own fate, I really hope to hear from you again.

Take the opportunity and run. You have the planet Uranus in an area of your chart that deals with higher education and that is an indication that you will be a student of sorts throughout your life. What ifs are the very things that hold you back. It's time to forge ahead and learn all you can. Both teaching and child psychology are well suited to you and I do believe that you can and will do both. Stop pondering and get on with your life and your future. You will be in a high cycle regarding love and romance beginning in July. If you aren't already in a relationship keep an open mind and an open heart. I have been a creative person all my life and have a career as a Graphic Artist, but over the past few years my mind began to flow over with ideas for film and television projects. I acted in a friend's short film and have been teaching myself the craft of writing stories for a few years now. I am torn because my identity has always been as a Graphic Artist, but I see myself as a writer. Do you see anything in my chart that would support my making a career change in the near future?

Yes I do see career change. It has actually been in your chart since the spring of 2003 and isn't about to move off until the end of this decade so get used to it. Your chart does indicate that you are highly creative and should work in a field that allows you to explore many different creative venues. In this day and age people change career direction more often and so you shouldn't be so worried about it. You can always fall back on graphic design or even keep working in that field while you delve into the performing arts and writing. My concern with writing is that although you do have your natal Mercury well aspected to your natal Pluto it does fall in an area of your chart that can sometimes make it difficult for you to get your work (writing) into the mainstream where it can be profitable for you. On the other hand you also have quite a build up of planets in an area of your chart that deals with communication and publishing so I believe that with a little extra effort and good timing you may be able to push your work into the hands of someone who can help you get ahead. You have been going through a transit that can help you with this the past couple of years and you did manage to work in the film and television industry during that time however that transit has moved on for now. Another transit similar will activate again in about four years but that doesn't mean you shouldn't start working in that direction now. After all the more prep work or writing you aspire to between now and that time the more polished your work will be as well as the more sellable when that transit moves into your chart. My suggestion to you is to continue your current work and do your writing on the side with your goal being to start trying to sell it in 2008/2009.
