I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I have written several times; hopefully I will be one of the lucky ones this time. I have been married without children for 5 years now. Our relationship has many problems, which we have gone to counseling for in the last 2 yrs. Compatibility is an issue since we don't match up that well in our charts (average). I'm thinking of leaving but I'm afraid I'm just repeating old behavior patterns (this is my 2nd marriage). Do you see anything in my chart that would indicate such a thing? You are confused for a number of reasons right now however lets deal with your relationship first. You and your Taurus husband do not match up as well as lovers should. I can see where you may get along like a sister and brother or distant friend but certainly not in any other capacity. You have the major sign of sorrow in your comparison and this usually means that it won't last for one reason or another. You will be in a high cycle regarding love and romance late next year and well into 2003. You should do whatever is necessary to get on with your life now so that you aren't tied down when this period comes into play. This is a little dramatic (I'm a LEO born August 8, 1980 at 2:07 pm!) but I feel as though I am having a bit of quarter life crisis. I have only been doing the 9 to 5 thing a couple of years and already I just don't see myself being able to do it another 30+ more. I have thought of pursuing more creative endeavors such as writing or even astrology, but then there is also the matter of having to make a living. So my question is about my career path: Is this just a temporary rut and more a matter of finding the right 9 to 5 or should I be going a different route altogether?

Some people just don't do well with major routine. I believe that you can fit into a schedule if you like what you are doing however currently you are going through restlessness in an area of your chart that deals with how you earn your living. I feel that you may make a mistake if you are impulsive due to the type of transits that you are experiencing. My suggestion is to try something creative on the side but don't give up your day job. I worked in a routine job for the first seven years while I built up my astrological business. That is quite often what it takes - you have to support your addiction to your art. I do believe that you have creative talent and that you can obtain recognition for whatever you decide to pursue but not without hard work, dedication and paying the bills so that you don't have to worry about the roof over your head. You do show some talent where writing is concerned. If you really hate your 9 to 5 job consider another position that allows you to travel about more like a sales position or something that isn't quite as confining while you work on your own goals. I believe that if you work hard you may begin to see some recognition in about 4 years.

I would like to seek your advice on an issue that makes me upset. I love my superior at work for the past two years. It is a one-sided love affair. I tried to tell him that I loved him and he didn?t reject me. But I still wonder if he loves me or not. Sometimes, he shows his affection toward me, but sometimes he is also flirtatious with other girls. Since we are working in the same department, we meet each other everyday. I feel pain in my heart. Your comparison with the gentleman in question was pretty good however there was an element of deception that could cause some problems for you in the work area.
