Dear Eugenia,

I have written several times; hopefully I will be one of the lucky ones this time. I have been married without children for 5 years now. Our relationship has many problems, which we have gone to counseling for in the last 2 yrs. Compatibility is an issue since we don't match up that well in our charts (average). I'm thinking of leaving but I'm afraid I'm just repeating old behavior patterns (this is my 2nd marriage). Do you see anything in my chart that would indicate such a thing? You are confused for a number of reasons right now however lets deal with your relationship first. You and your Taurus husband do not match up as well as lovers should. I can see where you may get along like a sister and brother or distant friend but certainly not in any other capacity. Article: Family Problem

Dear Eugenia,

I am writing to you about a family problem. My sister and I are the primary caretakers of our mother. My mother is disabled and has a variety of health problems. Her birthday is 8/30/1941 @ 4:30 p.m.

My problem is that ever since I was a young child we have had severe disagreements, fighting, etc. My birthday is 8/5/1975 @ 11:30 p.m. I try to be patient and understanding but our bad feelings have just grown worse with time. The pain and hurt is just getting to be too much. Please give me some advice on how I can deal with her more effectively and what I should keep in mind to have any kind of good relationship at all.

Although there is a small problem that shows up in your comparison that deals with honest communication regarding the way you both feel the overall picture doesn't appear to be that horrid. Yes you can argue and yes you are very different from one another but that doesn't mean that you can't get along. Your mother needs a bit of a wakeup call. She is a very strong Virgo and I believe that she can be a perfectionist. If that is the case nothing you ever do will be good enough or right. You must sit her down and tell her that you cannot live with or under those conditions. That you are trying to help her and if she won't allow you the decency to carry on as you please that you and your sister will have to find someone else to take care of her. Your mother is going through a very debilitating period over the course of the next two years and I believe that she is severely depressed. She recently experienced her second Saturn return and I believe that she has reevaluated her life and has decided that she isn't too happy with the way it unfolded. The fact that she is lashing out at you because of her own regrets is a shame but she is your mother and what she needs is honesty, love and to be put in her place.

Article: A Bachelor at Heart

I have been in love with my husband for a very long time. Our relationship has weathered many ups and downs but the past few years have been particularly difficult. He has been unfaithful and is currently unable to make a decision between staying and recommitting to our marriage or not. I was born on april29/55 (@ 5:55pm). He is a Scorpio (November 17/55). With all that we have been through (on a variety of levels) my heart still hopes for an honest chance at happiness. I can't bear this pain.

I can understand your position. As a Taurus with a strong Cancer and Scorpio influence you don't really relish disruptions of any kind especially when it has to do with your home, family and security. The comparison with your husband was okay but it did lack some pizzazz. He may be a Scorpio but when it comes to love and romance he has his natal Venus in the sign Sagittarius and that is usually an indication that married or not he will always be a bachelor at heart. I think it's time to set him free and get on with your life. You have a lot to offer and can still find love and romance with someone more worthy of your loyalty, dedication and devotion. You need to start doing the activities you used to enjoy, get back into the swing of things. It may be frightening at first but you will be fine. I feel that if your husband saw you as a challenge he may want to reconcile, however if I were you, I'd think long and hard before I'd jump into that situation again. You match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces. Take note that the Scorpio in your husband's chart is what initially attracted you, not the Sagittarius.
