I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.

For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,

I have written several times; hopefully I will be one of the lucky ones this time. I have been married without children for 5 years now. Our relationship has many problems, which we have gone to counseling for in the last 2 yrs. Compatibility is an issue since we don't match up that well in our charts (average). I'm thinking of leaving but I'm afraid I'm just repeating old behavior patterns (this is my 2nd marriage). Do you see anything in my chart that would indicate such a thing? You are confused for a number of reasons right now however lets deal with your relationship first. You and your Taurus husband do not match up as well as lovers should. I can see where you may get along like a sister and brother or distant friend but certainly not in any other capacity. You have the major sign of sorrow in your comparison and this usually means that it won't last for one reason or another. You will be in a high cycle regarding love and romance late next year and well into 2003. You should do whatever is necessary to get on with your life now so that you aren't tied down when this period comes into play. Article: Waiting for a Response

Dear Eugenia,

My Birth date is May 17, 1957, 8:18 PM. I graduated last October with my master's degree in business and have been searching ever since for a job. I have put out numerous resumes to companies and not once have I even received a call back or even a thank you. I've had several people review my resume thinking that I hadn't used the proper verbiage, or didn't state my objective. I've even spoken with other astrologers asking the same question and all I get is this period looks good or that period looks good but to no avail I still have no job. I'm at a loss I've even gone to headhunters and still nothing. Can I please ask if you foresee anything in the near future?

Dear Victoria

I have to admit that with the birth data you provided you should in fact have been getting a response over the past eight months. Although this period will remain with you until March of next year I find it strange that you have not even had as much as an interview. The only conclusion that I can make is that your birth time may not be accurate. My suggestion however is to keep cold calling and putting out your resume as the period coming up does look promising. I feel that you might also start looking outside your local region, as it would not be a bad idea for you to make a move. The area of your chart that deals with your residence will be in a high cycle regarding change or a move shortly so that may be an indication that you should be looking for work elsewhere. I also believe that if your chart is accurate you may be holding yourself back by only applying for jobs that you feel are worthy of your degree. You may have to take a lower position and work your way up. Often when you come out of school companies are not willing to give you a chance. You are probably best to start applying for somewhat lower positions in order to get your foot in the door. Once you start working I'm sure that you will advance quickly.

Your chart indicates that you are extremely hard to diagnose and this is why the doctors are having so much trouble finding out what's wrong. Trial and error will be required but you must not rely on one doctor's opinion. Although I do believe that you can and will get better I'm afraid that you will have to go through a couple of difficult years. You are headed into a period that indicates limitations, feeling fatigued and being run down. It will be important that you get your rest and that you have the doctor's check your heart for any defects that may have developed or that you may have been born with. Also the chest or breast area may show some signs of infection. You do tend to worry yourself sick and must be careful not to allow this to happen. Also problems with stomach may also occur and this could be an ulcer or colitis or similar disease set off once again by stress, anxiety and fear of becoming ill. Your chart is strong and I do believe that you will land on your feet and that whatever the doctors discover it will not be as bad as you think. Unfortunately the transit causing poor diagnosis will be in your chart until February 2006 so you may find yourself going through a lot between now and then. My suggestion is to work on stress management and if you are diagnosed with a stomach, chest or heart problem that you go to several specialists until you find the one who can put you on the right medication. One of the most difficult problems with this type of transit that you are going through is that quite often the wrong medication is what makes you sicker. The other area that the doctors should check out is that you may have an allergy to something around you or to a medication they prescribe. Know in your heart that your natal chart is good and that you should be able to get through this period so stop worrying.
