I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I need your help! I have tried for a response before, but came up empty. I adore your column and hope you can advise me on my situation. I am a 38-year old mother of two who has been overweight ever since I had my first child. My father's death (which was close in the proximity of having my children) threw it over the edge. I feel that I need to lose weight and become healthier if not for me, for the sake of my children. I want to see them grow up and be successful. I am planning on starting a diet next week and I was curious about the timing. Does my chart indicate a success for me losing the weight? I have tried all the fad diets and pills, and they just don't work. Thank you for your time!

It is never a good time to start a diet when transiting Jupiter is in conjunction with your natal Sun and Mercury and unfortunately that is the case until the end of May of next year. You must however try to at least maintain your weight during this period without getting discouraged. Therefore yes the diet is a must but coupled with exercise and the expectation that you will not put on any more weight. After that period when transiting Saturn starts to approach your natal Venus followed by your natal Mercury and then the Sun you will have a much better chance of losing the excess weight. This is a long process but certainly a worthwhile one and one that you can achieve. You must however be prepared to incorporate exercise, diet, a means to boost your ego and help you to feel good about yourself again. I suggest joining a group that will give you the support you need along with a fitness center for women where you will get the encouragement as well.

Thank you for your wonderful website and your free readings for members. You have the magic touch especially for me. I was born 6:20 am on 04/08/1975 and my husband was born on 10/03/71 I am unsure of the time. I am under a lot of stress and pressure at the moment. You see I am 36 weeks pregnant and my husband has been away for 6 months. He went to work in another part of the country and he has been staying with another woman. In the last 9 months of our marriage this woman has desperately wanted to rip my marriage apart. My husband had been playing games with me, saying that he was never cheating on me until I found out that he was. This woman was born on 04/01/1976. I thought that she had succeeded until I recently spoke to my husband this week. He spoke to me for 2 hours on the phone and on the ICQ chat room on the internet telling me what he had done was a big mistake and he wants to come home to his family.
We already have a little boy who is 15months old and he really misses his daddy. He adores his father. I would love nothing more than for my husband and I to reunite and start all over again but I am concerned that what he is telling me is all lies. This woman has played some very nasty mind-games with me throughout this time and she is now starting to call herself my son's mother. She has sent so many e-mails to me pretending to be my husband saying that "they" are both coming to my home to take my son away from me. She even went to the extreme of telling me that she was pregnant with my husband's child. She has 2 children of her own and is still married. She ran away from her husband so that he could not see his son grow up (one child is not his). She has wrecked 4 marriages as well as her own and is only out to chase men that have a lot of money. My husband and I have our own business and that's what she is after. She has never worked a day in her life, unless you count being a prostitute work, but she only wants money to drink her self stupid, as she is an alcoholic.
There are a lot of other things that she has done to me, including: trying to get me so stressed out that I miscarried our baby. A legal representative has only now told me that I can have her charged for stalking as well as causing mental anguish. All I would really like to know is should I trust my husbands word or is he just playing games with me too? We have been married for almost 3 years and even though my husband has done the wrong thing, I am still very much in love with him, and I always will be. He keeps telling me how much he loves and misses me, but if he does- he would not have done what he did in the first place and if he wanted his family back so badly he would have been back by now. 6 months is a very long time and I have had to raise my son and go through this pregnancy practically on my own. His parents live right next door to me, and they have been wonderful as they are supporting me 100% and they are not very happy with what he has done either. I guess I am lucky that I have his family here to support me.

Your comparison with your husband far outshines that of the comparison with the other woman. Your husband's chart indicates that he is coming into his Saturn return. What that does is it makes him reevaluate his life up to this point and make the necessary changes in order to turn things around. I e-mailed you, back in January, and you answered me, with quite accurate answers. My question right now is, what the heck is going on with my health, and money or to better phrase Andre` and my money. First, I'll tell you about my health. First of all in mid-May my bottom tooth became loose, and fell out. Then on April 26, I broke my collar from working out, with weights, and all the tone I had built up were gone after 3 weeks. Andre' and had been saving for our first holiday in 2 yrs. All of sudden every thing started going wrong with our car, eating up our savings. Then I started feeling really sick, so Andre' said let's just stay home, and I'll use the rest of our savings, stay home and I'll take care of you. I don't mean to flit back and forth, but in the mean time I was going from doctor to emergency here in Kingston. I'm sorry to take so much of your time, but it's a weird time for us. Finally on the 24th of July, I ended up in emergency again and was sent home with Gravol. I spent the 2 days in bed, desperately ill. Andre' wanted to stay home, I wanted to visit our family, both come from the same place, and there were 2 hospitals there, (about 40 miles in difference). When we arrived near his parents home I had to "pee", I saw myself in the bathroom mirror and knew immediately " I had to go to the Hospital". I was examined and stayed over night, then was sent to another hospital, by ambulance, 40 miles away for emergency surgery. I had an abscess on my bowels, perforated intestines, and to many other things that would take too long to explain, in the already "too long" e-mail that I'm taking much of your time with? Finally, Eugenia, I flat lined, at hospital and am very glad to be here. I would like to know if you see in my health area any more serious problems, or was that enough for a while. Your chart does show some evidence of chronic health problems that were set off this past year however they appear to have cleared up mid summer. Should you continue to have problems there is another area in your chart that could result in continuing troubles especially where blood disorders, allergies, skin, bones and teeth problems are concerned. All these little irritations can end up causing problems with work. The other scenarios that can happen with the type of transits you are experiencing are a series of job changes, a change in your status (marriage) and a change of residence. All in all however I do feel that your chart is not bad and that with proper care, diet and exercise you should be able to build your strength back up and continue to live a normal life again.
You match up to your Taurus man rather well and I would consider getting married May 1st, June 12th or July 17th. I really didn't see any red flags in the comparison and in felt that emotionally, and physically you were quite in synch. Mentally you won't always feel the same way about things but I have yet to see a comparison that indicates that the couple will agree on everything.
