I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I need your help! I have tried for a response before, but came up empty. I adore your column and hope you can advise me on my situation. I am a 38-year old mother of two who has been overweight ever since I had my first child. My father's death (which was close in the proximity of having my children) threw it over the edge. I feel that I need to lose weight and become healthier if not for me, for the sake of my children. I want to see them grow up and be successful. I am planning on starting a diet next week and I was curious about the timing. Does my chart indicate a success for me losing the weight? I have tried all the fad diets and pills, and they just don't work. Thank you for your time!

It is never a good time to start a diet when transiting Jupiter is in conjunction with your natal Sun and Mercury and unfortunately that is the case until the end of May of next year. You must however try to at least maintain your weight during this period without getting discouraged. Therefore yes the diet is a must but coupled with exercise and the expectation that you will not put on any more weight. After that period when transiting Saturn starts to approach your natal Venus followed by your natal Mercury and then the Sun you will have a much better chance of losing the excess weight. This is a long process but certainly a worthwhile one and one that you can achieve. You must however be prepared to incorporate exercise, diet, a means to boost your ego and help you to feel good about yourself again. I suggest joining a group that will give you the support you need along with a fitness center for women where you will get the encouragement as well.

I visit your site everyday. I am now suffering both physically and mentally. Financially, I'm almost living in the poorhouse. My health is getting worse and worse. I am so down that I wonder whether I should continue to live or not. Furthermore, the person whom I love has left me. She has deeply fallen in love with someone else. This almost killed me. We have a young kid but she seems not to care about our child. I don't know whether I should wait for her or let her go. My future seems so dark. I have no confidence. I can't talk to any one about my personal problems. However, while I am writing to you, I feel much better. Even though my wife has left me, I still love her deeply. I understand your concern. The comparison between you and your ex-wife was adequate however that may not be enough to win her back if she has met someone who matches up to her much better. I believe that she has been and continues to go through a very confusing time. I feel that her comparison with your daughter shows promise, love and caring. Her chart indicates that secret affairs and emotional confusion coupled with erratic behavior have caused her to make such a huge change in her life. I believe that you are a very sensitive, caring and loving individual who fell in love with the wrong person. Your chart indicates that you will be moving into a high romantic cycle during the second half of this year and the first half of next. This can mean that your ex-wife tries to come back into your life or it can mean that you will meet someone who is much better for you and who you will love much more than your ex-wife. Where do I begin, I'm 28 yrs old and have been looking for love. I've been out of a relationship for almost 2 yrs in which I was engaged to be married. This almost tore me apart but somehow I SURVIVED. I still have good and bad days but I think everything happens for a reason which takes me to my next point. I met a gentleman (born: February 21,1971) almost a year ago in which I was very attracted to and we became friends although I long for so much more however I know that his career is his first priority and anything else is on the back burner. I think that coming out of a very long and serious relationship I lack the confidence that I need in order to speak up and express what I feel as I fear rejection and this is what I tend to do with him.
I know that I want more than to be friends, is this something that you see in my future? b/c I don't have the nerve to ask him straight out and I want to know what direction my love life is going if anywhere. I was born July 4, 1975 at 6:45 pm.
