I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I am trying to fight blatant employment discrimination. Each time I submit a document, appeal, etc. my horoscope shows encouragement & success. The next day, each time, legal problems, trouble, etc. shows up. Pretty accurate, too. Is my timing off? Everything is actually documented, but no one will read or listen. It's as if I'm CAUSING the legal trouble in my horoscope each time I try to fight. I'm being blackballed so badly & long; I have to leave the state. Any advice?

You have the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars in the sign Aquarius with your natal Neptune in Scorpio and Moon in Taurus making this a particularly difficult time to make the right choices. The transits that have been causing these misfortunes have left you confused. Although the transit that was causing uncertainties and sudden and unexpected changes and developments has moved on it has been replaced with a slow moving transiting Neptune that causes deception, disillusionment and confusion. It will require you to think things through carefully. You would be best to rely on a trusted friend or colleague who can help you make better choices over the next couple of years. Unfortunately this transit can also cause self-deception making it difficult for you to recognize that you may be creating your problems to some degree. Try to step back and don't hesitate to seek help. If you can do something that is creative you will find it much easier to deal with this particular cycle. An outlet is needed in order to counteract some of the dilemmas that you are facing. Regarding making a move, it's not a bad idea. Your travel and change of state, country or province looks good and it might be exactly what you need in order to get on with your life. You are also coming into a high cycle regarding love and romance. If you are already in a relationship it can flourish at this time, if you aren't in one, it will be a good time to meet someone who will be good for you. Your chart indicates that you are extremely hard to diagnose and this is why the doctors are having so much trouble finding out what's wrong. Trial and error will be required but you must not rely on one doctor's opinion. Although I do believe that you can and will get better I'm afraid that you will have to go through a couple of difficult years. You are headed into a period that indicates limitations, feeling fatigued and being run down. It will be important that you get your rest and that you have the doctor's check your heart for any defects that may have developed or that you may have been born with. Also the chest or breast area may show some signs of infection. You do tend to worry yourself sick and must be careful not to allow this to happen. Also problems with stomach may also occur and this could be an ulcer or colitis or similar disease set off once again by stress, anxiety and fear of becoming ill. Your chart is strong and I do believe that you will land on your feet and that whatever the doctors discover it will not be as bad as you think. Unfortunately the transit causing poor diagnosis will be in your chart until February 2006 so you may find yourself going through a lot between now and then. My suggestion is to work on stress management and if you are diagnosed with a stomach, chest or heart problem that you go to several specialists until you find the one who can put you on the right medication. One of the most difficult problems with this type of transit that you are going through is that quite often the wrong medication is what makes you sicker. The other area that the doctors should check out is that you may have an allergy to something around you or to a medication they prescribe. Know in your heart that your natal chart is good and that you should be able to get through this period so stop worrying.

How come every time I meet someone, it always has a bad ending...I have been seeing a lot of different people up until now, but it is always me who gets hurt, not me hurting others...And a lot of them were not very nice to me. I was always nice to them...maybe that's why everything has always gone this way.. Now it is not easy to see someone again... Thus, I'm afraid of hanging out with a guy even though he is nice...I'm afraid of the endings being bad...Why is this? When can I meet the right person? I was born on Oct 27, 1978, at 5:30-6:00 PM...Is this too common story?

I'm not surprised that you have experienced some difficult love situations over the past several years considering your chart has and does show confusion, deception and having trouble choosing the right partners. This will continue to plague you a while longer however that doesn't mean that you can't go out and meet potential partners. My suggestion is that you only look for friendship at first and that you develop your relationship with the next partner slowly. There is much to be said about being friends before you become lovers. As we move into the final quarter of next year and throughout 2002 you will be in a high cycle for love, romance and marriage and this is when you can move toward becoming more than just friends.
