I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.

This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Dear Eugenia,

I am trying to fight blatant employment discrimination. Each time I submit a document, appeal, etc. my horoscope shows encouragement & success. The next day, each time, legal problems, trouble, etc. shows up. Pretty accurate, too. Is my timing off? Everything is actually documented, but no one will read or listen. It's as if I'm CAUSING the legal trouble in my horoscope each time I try to fight. I'm being blackballed so badly & long; I have to leave the state. Any advice?

Dear Poor Timing

You have the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars in the sign Aquarius with your natal Neptune in Scorpio and Moon in Taurus making this a particularly difficult time to make the right choices. The transits that have been causing these misfortunes have left you confused. Although the transit that was causing uncertainties and sudden and unexpected changes and developments has moved on it has been replaced with a slow moving transiting Neptune that causes deception, disillusionment and confusion. It will require you to think things through carefully. You would be best to rely on a trusted friend or colleague who can help you make better choices over the next couple of years. Unfortunately this transit can also cause self-deception making it difficult for you to recognize that you may be creating your problems to some degree. Try to step back and don't hesitate to seek help. If you can do something that is creative you will find it much easier to deal with this particular cycle. An outlet is needed in order to counteract some of the dilemmas that you are facing. Regarding making a move, it's not a bad idea. Your travel and change of state, country or province looks good and it might be exactly what you need in order to get on with your life. You are also coming into a high cycle regarding love and romance. If you are already in a relationship it can flourish at this time, if you aren't in one, it will be a good time to meet someone who will be good for you. Hi Cancer

Your chart indicates that you are extremely hard to diagnose and this is why the doctors are having so much trouble finding out what's wrong. Trial and error will be required but you must not rely on one doctor's opinion. Although I do believe that you can and will get better I'm afraid that you will have to go through a couple of difficult years. You are headed into a period that indicates limitations, feeling fatigued and being run down. It will be important that you get your rest and that you have the doctor's check your heart for any defects that may have developed or that you may have been born with. Also the chest or breast area may show some signs of infection. You do tend to worry yourself sick and must be careful not to allow this to happen. Also problems with stomach may also occur and this could be an ulcer or colitis or similar disease set off once again by stress, anxiety and fear of becoming ill. Your chart is strong and I do believe that you will land on your feet and that whatever the doctors discover it will not be as bad as you think. Unfortunately the transit causing poor diagnosis will be in your chart until February 2006 so you may find yourself going through a lot between now and then. My suggestion is to work on stress management and if you are diagnosed with a stomach, chest or heart problem that you go to several specialists until you find the one who can put you on the right medication. One of the most difficult problems with this type of transit that you are going through is that quite often the wrong medication is what makes you sicker. The other area that the doctors should check out is that you may have an allergy to something around you or to a medication they prescribe. Know in your heart that your natal chart is good and that you should be able to get through this period so stop worrying.

Article: Strong Attraction

Dear Eugenia

I am very confused and concerned about my current relationship. I was born 11-30-77 at 11:38am and my boyfriend was born 12-14-75 at 1:08pm. We have a very strong physical attraction for one another, but our fights are often and our comments are brutal. He has a very quick and explosive temper, but treats me very well otherwise. He is not jealous or controlling, but very sensitive. What type of connection do we have that makes us so inseparable? We cannot spend more than two days without one another, almost as if we are the same person. We are both becoming very dependent on each other and neither of us have ever had that type of personality. We both were "bachelors" of the zodiac breaking hearts left and right and partying all the time until we met each other. Is this relationship healthy? What is it about our signs that have made us completely different people enthralled by each other? But almost TOO passionate?

I like same sign relationships. I believe however that you are both going through the rush of love and that the physical connection is so powerful that neither one of you can get past it at the moment. The rest of the comparison isn't too bad. I feel that you both tend to evade issues and neglect to be completely honest with one another. The fact that you fight a lot doesn't surprise me either. It isn't unusual for people to point a finger at their partner especially if they themselves are guilty of similar things.
