I'm not sure if this message qualifies for submission, but here is my question. My boyfriend is a Capricorn and I am an Aries, which do not match according to Zodiac signs. But when I complete the romance compatibility we match 99%. So which is right? My birthday is 4/8/70 2pm, His is 1/8/65 don't know time. We don't suffer from the problems stated under a Zodiac match, Aries spending too much and Capricorn being frugal, in fact it is opposite for us. I expect you won't be able to answer this letter, but the worst that can happen is silence. I was born September 20, 1973 @ 5:15 p.m. Three years ago, I lost my grandmother and then a year later, I lost my Mom. I started University, two months after my Mother passed away and I am afraid that my scholastic career has thus far been less than spectacular. Although, the long depression that I suffered through has dissipated somewhat I now realize that I may have dug a hole for myself so bad I will never be able to save myself from it. I am still somewhat confused about how I should proceed. Should I try to finish school now, while I am here or wander in the real world for a couple of years so I won't waste any more time?
I haven't had a serious relationship in quite some time. The thought of putting myself forward has been rather frightening. Is it a bad idea to even think about finding Mr. Right now?
I really don't know which is worse the depression or the confusion. Either way I feel so buried, I don't know which way is up or down.

My unemployed dad drinks everyday and my poor mom is working as a domestic maid. I hate my dad. I am not studying well and always get poor results. I don't want to do anything. You are currently going through what astrologers refer to as your first half-life Saturn. This can be a depressing period for you. It is important that you take the time to decide what would really help you turn things around. You should talk to your mother and let her know how you feel. Ask her how she feels about your dad and if she is willing to get outside help through counseling. Chances are good that she isn't any happier then you are about your father's bad habits right now and perhaps if she goes for help he will as well. Regarding your education you should find it easier to focus on your work next year, for now you should ask your teachers for additional help if needed. You are bright and there is no reason why you can't turn things around if you want to. The most important thing to remember is that it is up to you to make the effort as well as the changes. Although you are experiencing uncertainties regarding your future it is apparent that with hard work and determination you will be able to succeed. You didn't mention when your mother and father were born so I am not able to tell you if either one of them are strong enough to do what's necessary in order to turn things around. Your best bet as I mentioned is to discuss your concerns with your mother and suggest that she try to get some help from a professional or even from relatives who may be able to talk some sense into your father.
