I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I'm not sure if this message qualifies for submission, but here is my question. My boyfriend is a Capricorn and I am an Aries, which do not match according to Zodiac signs. But when I complete the romance compatibility we match 99%. So which is right? My birthday is 4/8/70 2pm, His is 1/8/65 don't know time. We don't suffer from the problems stated under a Zodiac match, Aries spending too much and Capricorn being frugal, in fact it is opposite for us. I just want to understand how the zodiac and charts differ so much.

There's really not as much of a "problem" as there are questions. I have been dating my boyfriend for four and a half months. This is the second time we have dated; we dated for six months about two years ago. Our relationship before was not a great one, but I have always had a place for him in my heart. We went two years without seeing each other once. We haven't left each others side since we ran into each other at a restaurant four and a half months ago. This "go around" is nothing like last time. We have a wonderful relationship. We intend on getting married some time next year. I wanted to know if you are able to tell me if you see this relationship succeeding. I believe that it will, but I wanted to know if you could let me know how you see this turning out. You have been in a high cycle regarding love, romance and having someone good from your past come back into your life since August of last year so your timing is right. What does being on the cusp mean? Sometimes I'm shown as a Gemini, sometimes Cancer. Although I think I lean more towards Gemini. I was born June 21, 1961 at 1 AM.

According to your chart you are born under the sign Gemini if the time of birth is accurate set at 1 AM, however, if you were born at 10:31 AM or after on the 21st you are a Cancer by Sun Sign. Don't put too much onus on being one sign or the other. It is the entire package that makes you who you are and helps determine your direction. The time of birth is however very important as a chart changes every four minutes and for someone like me to be accurate I need specific data.
Your natal Mercury (the planet that deals with the way you think and communicate) is in the sign Cancer so that is why you are leaning toward that sign. Your chart also indicates that you have a very strong Leo and Virgo influence with a little Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius and Taurus thrown into the mix to make you the person you are.
For the record - if born before 10:31 AM you can call yourself a Gemini if after a Cancer.
