I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I follow your show and read your astrological predictions each day. My husband left me cold turkey for another lady last June 2002 although we had been living apart since last January 2002. We had talked about getting back together so needless to say I was totally devastated. He is a Taurus, May 14, 1962, time not known. Since that time I have had many readings done and each one seems different. Almost all say that he will be back, the latest one saying possibly in the Spring of 2003. I read that a person's astrological sign changes every four minutes. If this is so, how do astrologers read your horoscope and why are they so varied. Please answer, as I would really like to know what will become of our marriage. I have now filed for divorce but I still love him very much. Is there still a chance for us? I was born March 10, 1951, at 10 am.

It isn't that a persons sign changes every four minutes it is that the planets are in constant motion therefore if your birth time is off by more than four minutes it could make a difference to the outcome of your natal chart. You have a very good comparison with your ex however you didn't submit when his lady friend was born therefore I don't know if she matches up just as well or better. Based on the information that you gave me I feel that if there is going to be a reunion between the two of you it will be between May 27th and July 20th. These things don't just happen however. Number one I would not be proceeding with the divorce given the fact that you aren't sure that you want the relationship to end. Instead I would be opening up communication with this man to find out exactly where he is at and what he wants. Your ex has been going through a very confusing period and I believe that the past two and a half years he has been depressed and unable to make good choices. Don't totally through away what you have built as a couple by jumping into divorce. Slow down and find out what's left before you move in that direction. If it doesn't work out between you your chart does indicate other suitors so keep your eyes open for someone who can fill the void that you are feeling. Either way I do not see you as being alone.

I really enjoy your column and find your replies eloquent and very interesting. I've written in before, and haven't gotten a response, so I figured I'd try again. I am in a strange situation right now. I've had an eating disorder for the past 3 years of my life, and just recently, got put into the hospital due to complications from the severity of it. I know what I'm doing is wrong, and I'm trying to change, but it seems like every attempt is half-hearted at best. I've read in several different books that individuals born on my DOB (March 9, 1985, @ 1:45AM) show a pattern of substance abuse and health problems. The year just seems to be getting worse and worse and I was wondering what my chart holds for the upcoming school year. I think I put up a front and have a difficult time letting others get close, in fear that I will somehow lose control of everything in my life. Will my life and relationships with others improve at all? Thank you for your time.

You aren't a very strong Pisces only having your natal Sun in that sign. Your chart is predominantly Aries with your natal Mercury, Venus and Mars in that sign and Scorpio with your natal Saturn and Pluto in that sign. Your recent jaunt to the hospital does show up and it appears that if you don't use your Scorpio discipline to get back on track that you will end up in hospital again over the course of the next year. I urge you to take your health concerns seriously and stabilize your mental outlook before you start to worry about relationships. You have to learn to love yourself first. Your chart indicates that you have so much to work with but with your natal Neptune adversely aspecting your natal Mercury it is apparent that you are not always honest with yourself and this can lead to problems dealing with denial etc. However with your natal Mercury favorably positioned to your natal Jupiter it should help you to feel better about yourself. Problems with home, family or friends may occur if you don't take better care of yourself. It is obvious that you have people around you who care and who may be getting annoyed with the way you are handling your life. You are bright, creative and could help others with similar problems. You will probably be more attracted to people or partners who are older or younger and possibly at this stage of your life you aren't really meeting a wide enough variety of people. It is important for you to get focused and to keep active as well as to get your eating disorder sorted out once and for all. You are the master of your own destiny and no one else can make the adjustments for you. I believe that you have what it takes to change your life but the most difficult part is taking the first step. If you don't get started your educational pursuits will suffer over the course of the next couple of years, however if you can manage to pull things together you have the potential to do quite well. You should be meeting people over the next year that are good for you as well as those who can help you make the necessary life changes. This is my 2nd attempt to earn your analysis/insight. Close to 1 year ago, the relationship I had with my fiance began to crumble. Although we had known each other quite well since grade school, we did not become a serious couple until 5/97. My birth info: 3/27/76 at 1:05pm. His birth info: 3/20/76 at about 4:20pm- our breakup began 7/14/00 and he ended our relationship in a letter I got 8/14/00. We were to wed 11/18/00. We don't talk anymore. I am missing many answers as to why our solid relationship failed. It's like he just gave up. I do know he became involved w/ another girl 6/00. I discovered this after our relationship ended. I don't know her birth info, but have learned that their relationship recently ended.
I made a lot of changes after my engagement ended...new location/new job. I'm happy with my new job; esp. since I'm now earning much more money, however money is still tight, as I am trying to pay off my debts (credit cards).
My questions for you involve the outlook of my future. What do you see? My social circle in my new location is lacking. I haven't come close to dating since my engagement ended. This is partially due to me needing to 'heal' and partially due to not finding anyone who would go out with me. I'm thankful for my great job..but what about friends....romance? What do you see? Will my ex-fianc? and I cross paths again, or is there really someone else out there who's my soul mate? Will I succeed financially? I had so many goals that I wanted to have accomplished by now--be married...be debt-free (or close to debt-free) and I haven't accomplished them. Gosh, are things ever going to get better so I can be happy about all aspects of my life? I'm losing the faith. Please help.

The comparison between you and your ex wasn't that great therefore you should view your situation as a blessing in disguise. I wouldn't however be surprised if you did cross paths again during the course of the next year because both your chart and his indicate people from your past coming back into your lives. This can also mean new romantic ties so please look forward not back. If you get out and involved in worthwhile community groups you will meet some interesting people. Yes you will have to spend a little in order to have some fun or join groups that interest you but it will be worth investing in yourself, your future and meeting potential partners so get on with it. Investments will also be in a high cycle this year if you are conservative. If you rent you might consider trying to purchase a small home or condo in order to build some future security as well as to stop throwing money out the window on rent.
