I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I am a 44 year old female born December 22, 1958 at 10 pm and currently residing in New York. I have recently become involved in a long distance relationship with a younger man (he resides in North Carolina). I grew up in his hometown and visit it quite frequently, at least once every other month. Not only is he younger but also he is a Gemini (DOB 6/17/74). Which I have been told he is not compatible with my sign and to steer clear. Yet our time together is very special. He is a great conversationalist, while am a good listener. He appreciates the fact that I only offer advice when he requests it. I find him highly intelligent and that is most important to me. The problem is I am always drawn to Gemini's, if I would walk in a room full of available bachelors the one that I would be most attracted to would turn out to be a Gemini. I have dated several and even married one. Is there something wrong with me or is there a reason why this type of man seems to draw me out?

You were born with the sign Aquarius in an area of your chart that deals with partnerships and relationships therefore the Air signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are not bad for you. I do think that Geminis are particularly good because they fall in an area of people who can help you achieve your dreams, hopes and wishes for the future. You can learn from them and prosper because of them. With your Sun and Venus in the sign Capricorn you will always do better with partners who are much younger or much older than you are and with your Mercury and Saturn in Sagittarius you will always be attracted to Gemini's or men who are intellectual. You will be in a much higher cycle for love beginning this fall so keep yourself available. Although the comparison with your friend was okay I do think that if you spent more time with him you would find him lacking in some areas. It appears to be more of a mental connection than physical and I would be inclined to keep him as a friend. You are going through your second half-life Saturn and this is probably making you think more about settling down again. Don't be too quick you have plenty of time and I do believe that Mr. Right is just around the corner.

I really like your web site it's very entertaining. I'm wondering if you would please answer this question for me: Am I a Scorpio or Scorpio/Sagittarius My birth date is November 22, 1967 and approximate birth time 2:00 a.m. in Toulouse, France.
I've always associated myself with being a Scorpio more than a Sagittarius, but wonder because I'm right on the cusp, am I correct in my thinking. Most of the Astrological books show Scorpio from October 24 to November 21, though I have run into some that have the dates October 24 to November 22, which dates are correct.
Would you please clear this up for me ------- am I more Scorpio than Sagittarius or do I have a little of both?
My boyfriend is a Pisces - birth date March 13, 1971, what is our compatibility like?

The dates that they set in most newspapers are for the benefit of the readers who know little about the subject and refuse to note that it can change a couple of days from year to year. When I first took over Jeane Dixon's column I tried to incorporate the exact date that the Sun moved from one constellation to another however too many readers were upset so I had to go back to using the Sun Sign set dates. In your case you are a Scorpio with your natal Sun, Mercury and Neptune in that sign. You don't have any planets whatsoever in the sign Sagittarius therefore you are correct that they influence is minimal. You do however have a strong Virgo influence with your natal Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in that sign as well as your ascendant. Regarding your compatibility with your boyfriend I felt that it was quite superb. Although no relationship is perfect there really weren't any red flags to speak of. I would be considering marriage over the course of the next two years and possibly of starting a family.

I NEED ADVICE! I haven't done well in the past two years of college. I now have an opportunity to go to England! I am a musician and think I might find more opportunities there. So, quit college and go to England (staying with a friend, place to practice) or stay where I am? Also, this means leaving my girlfriend. She's afraid that a long distance relationship won't work. I say we can visit on vacations and she can come over after her graduation next spring. Could this relationship last? My birth date is May 17, 1981 - late morning/early afternoon. I can understand your need to follow your dream and I believe it is important to do so while you have the chance. You are in a much higher cycle where both travel and educational pursuits are concerned over the course of the next year however I believe that the people you will meet while living in England will be an education in itself. Regarding your girlfriend I believe that there will be some emotional deception that will unfold between the two of you due to the distance. She can be a flirt however you can be as well. Neither one of you can resist the chance to interact with someone who stimulates you mentally. I believe that you should give one another space while you are away. If you are meant to be together the sparks will fly when you see one another again. If you are going to be serious about your commitment to music and this big move you must do it one hundred percent.
