For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I am a 44 year old female born December 22, 1958 at 10 pm and currently residing in New York. I have recently become involved in a long distance relationship with a younger man (he resides in North Carolina). I grew up in his hometown and visit it quite frequently, at least once every other month. Not only is he younger but also he is a Gemini (DOB 6/17/74). Which I have been told he is not compatible with my sign and to steer clear. Yet our time together is very special. He is a great conversationalist, while am a good listener. He appreciates the fact that I only offer advice when he requests it. I find him highly intelligent and that is most important to me. The problem is I am always drawn to Gemini's, if I would walk in a room full of available bachelors the one that I would be most attracted to would turn out to be a Gemini. I have dated several and even married one. Is there something wrong with me or is there a reason why this type of man seems to draw me out?

You were born with the sign Aquarius in an area of your chart that deals with partnerships and relationships therefore the Air signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are not bad for you. I do think that Geminis are particularly good because they fall in an area of people who can help you achieve your dreams, hopes and wishes for the future. You can learn from them and prosper because of them. With your Sun and Venus in the sign Capricorn you will always do better with partners who are much younger or much older than you are and with your Mercury and Saturn in Sagittarius you will always be attracted to Gemini's or men who are intellectual. You will be in a much higher cycle for love beginning this fall so keep yourself available. Although the comparison with your friend was okay I do think that if you spent more time with him you would find him lacking in some areas. It appears to be more of a mental connection than physical and I would be inclined to keep him as a friend. You are going through your second half-life Saturn and this is probably making you think more about settling down again. I have an on going struggle with what I should do about my relationship with the man in my life. He is a Leo 1937. I was born February 8, 1946 at 10:16 AM. Here is the problem. We can get along so beautifully and then I do, or say something to upset him. It appears my independence and detachment, upsets him. I try to reassure him that I love him, but I often feel he wants more of me than I can give. He wants to be first and most important in my life. Sharing me with friends is taboo to him. This makes me feel pulled between him and my other pursuits in my life. How can I get around all this? I truly love him, but there is a part of me that I can't control. I MUST have my independence. We have been in a serious relationship for a year. I hope you will answer this letter. I am desperate for some help soon. Thank you for this opportunity to let this out.

You neglected to give me specifics regarding your Leo partner however you did include his year of birth so I can assume that his natal Neptune doesn't play too much havoc with your natal chart. Being polar opposites I can definitely see the attraction. With your strong Aquarius traits you would need a certain amount of freedom to come and go as you please in order to be happy. If he can't allow you this freedom you may have to move on. You are coming into a high cycle during the second half of this year and the first half of next year that will help you where love and romance is concerned. It should allow you to meet someone who may be more in tune to the lifestyle you require and who you can relate to better regarding such matters. If you do decide to stay with your Leo friend this period can also be a favorable time to tell how you feel and that he has to allow you to see your friends and to do the things that you enjoy or you will move on and leave him behind. Unfortunately he appears to be possessive and this is something that will always stand between you if he can't come to terms with it. It is also apparent in your chart that you do attract the type of man who does want to possess you and control you. I was born on Feb. 6, 1975 at 7:00 p.m. (19:00). Recently, I have a headache just thinking of my job. I think the basic reason is my personality. I'm working for a trading company dealing with chemicals. My position is sales deputy manager. I want to be a salesman but I'm not interested in chemicals at all. My boss and I worked at the same company until this January. He set up his own company and he asked me to help him. So I started this new job from this January. Studying about chemicals is difficult. This is the first problem. I want something more active and fresh. But my boss is really friendly and good to me so I'm hesitant to leave.
I am thinking what I really want to do everyday. A few weeks ago, I went to a fortune-teller. He said that I had better do creative things like fashion design or whatever. He added that I should start as soon as possible and would be successful when I'm 30 years old. Maybe he is right because I'm bored of the routine at work already. I have changed my job two times in the past two years. I don't regret making the change because it was a sedentary job and I don't like it. I'm trying to think what creative work would be good for me. Fashion illustrator? But I don't have any talent working with my hands, but I do have a sense of style.
Anyway, this is the second question I have. I don't know what is better for me in the future. I only know that I do not like chemicals. Should I keep this job because I have to keep the promise with my boss? Or should I change my job? As you said, timing is important. Sometimes I think I'm wasting my time on something that is all wrong for me. Am I right?

You are headed toward a high cycle regarding your work however it will be more predominant beginning next February therefore you do have some time to make up your mind and to look around. Regarding sales, you can do quite well in that field, however what you sell will make all the difference in the world. There are a few options that you might find interesting however for some of them you may have to pick up additional knowledge or courses. I suggest that if that is the case you do so between now and the end of January if possible. You can do well in the fashion industry however I think it would be more in an area of buying not designing. Keep in mind that anything you do can be creative. You also show talent in the field of technology. That could mean selling ideas, concepts etc for a .com company that offers you options. You also show promise in the area of communications and that can mean working with computers, internet, radio, television etc. You have many choices to make and it will be dependent on your knowledge and your ability to jump from one field to another as to how well or how far you will go. The timing is right for you to pick your direction and signing up for courses that will bring you the knowledge required to help you get the position you want by the early part of next year.
