For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I am a 44 year old female born December 22, 1958 at 10 pm and currently residing in New York. I have recently become involved in a long distance relationship with a younger man (he resides in North Carolina). I grew up in his hometown and visit it quite frequently, at least once every other month. Not only is he younger but also he is a Gemini (DOB 6/17/74). Which I have been told he is not compatible with my sign and to steer clear. Yet our time together is very special. He is a great conversationalist, while am a good listener. He appreciates the fact that I only offer advice when he requests it. I find him highly intelligent and that is most important to me. The problem is I am always drawn to Gemini's, if I would walk in a room full of available bachelors the one that I would be most attracted to would turn out to be a Gemini. I have dated several and even married one. Is there something wrong with me or is there a reason why this type of man seems to draw me out?

You were born with the sign Aquarius in an area of your chart that deals with partnerships and relationships therefore the Air signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are not bad for you. I do think that Geminis are particularly good because they fall in an area of people who can help you achieve your dreams, hopes and wishes for the future. You can learn from them and prosper because of them. With your Sun and Venus in the sign Capricorn you will always do better with partners who are much younger or much older than you are and with your Mercury and Saturn in Sagittarius you will always be attracted to Gemini's or men who are intellectual. You will be in a much higher cycle for love beginning this fall so keep yourself available. Although the comparison with your friend was okay I do think that if you spent more time with him you would find him lacking in some areas. After my painful divorce 6 years ago, I've had several psychic readings ranging from California through Maine. One of them said that I would remarry gain, and the next person will be a Sagittarius. Well, the new person whom I found to be my soul mate is a Libra; he was born 10/15/1961; I was born 8/20/1960. Yet, there is another person who is also pursuing me was born 12/5/1960. What worries me is one psychic reader said that my second relationship will not last, and that I will meet another one at 50's. Your chart indicates that you are continuing to go through many changes with regard to your personal life. You are in a high cycle where love and romance are concerned however and you have met the two men in question at an appropriate time. You do however match up better to the Libra. There are never any guarantees when it comes to relationships. What you put in you get out however if you tend to do more for your partner you will eventually feel used. It takes hard work to keep a relationship fresh and stimulating and unfortunately in today's society few people are willing to work that hard. If you make an effort to communicate with your Libra mate there is no reason why it can't last. Keep in mind that you must also maintain your looks when dating a Libra. They are very visual and if you let yourself go it could spell disaster for a long-term connection.

I recently broke up with my boyfriend of five years. I broke up with him mainly because he was not doing much with his life and my waiting around for him caused me to lose interest (in all aspects). At the same time that I broke up with him a really close friend from the past (who had disappeared for five years) showed up out of the blue. Feelings that I had once felt for my friend have also appeared. I feel in my heart that I made the correct decision in leaving my boyfriend, but at times feel a doubt. Was my decision a mistake? Also, it seems that my friend and I picked up right where we left off five years ago. We share all the same qualities, interests and personality traits, topic starters, etc. My feelings for him grow stronger everyday, but I feel as if there is something he is not telling me. Should I question his motives or trust the things he tells me? What is his reason for coming back into my life after 5 years? No you did not make a mistake regarding your ex. You simply don't match up well and nothing is going to change that. You have different values. You are more of a doer than he will ever be. He may be born under the sign Scorpio but his chart is definitely more Libra. He is willing to coast along and that is just the way he is and always will be.
On the other hand you don't match up any better to your old friend so I believe he is telling you what you want to hear and being who he thinks you want him to be. He falls in an area of your chart that deals with dead ends therefore not likely to go the distance. However if he helped you make your decision not to get back together with your ex he has filled his purpose so it's time for you to move on to bigger and better relationships.
This year you should be focusing on getting your life back on track. Securing your position and setting your finances in order - even considering purchasing a house if at all possible or at least making a move that is more conducive to saving or getting ahead financially.
You will be in a much better cycle regarding love as the year comes to a close and throughout the first half of next year. That doesn't mean you won't meet someone before that time but I suggest that you take your time, socialize and get to know potential partners better before getting involved in another intimate long term union.
