I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I am a 44 year old female born December 22, 1958 at 10 pm and currently residing in New York. I have recently become involved in a long distance relationship with a younger man (he resides in North Carolina). I grew up in his hometown and visit it quite frequently, at least once every other month. Not only is he younger but also he is a Gemini (DOB 6/17/74). Which I have been told he is not compatible with my sign and to steer clear. Yet our time together is very special. He is a great conversationalist, while am a good listener. He appreciates the fact that I only offer advice when he requests it. I find him highly intelligent and that is most important to me. The problem is I am always drawn to Gemini's, if I would walk in a room full of available bachelors the one that I would be most attracted to would turn out to be a Gemini. I have dated several and even married one. Is there something wrong with me or is there a reason why this type of man seems to draw me out?

You were born with the sign Aquarius in an area of your chart that deals with partnerships and relationships therefore the Air signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are not bad for you. I do think that Geminis are particularly good because they fall in an area of people who can help you achieve your dreams, hopes and wishes for the future. You can learn from them and prosper because of them. With your Sun and Venus in the sign Capricorn you will always do better with partners who are much younger or much older than you are and with your Mercury and Saturn in Sagittarius you will always be attracted to Gemini's or men who are intellectual. You will be in a much higher cycle for love beginning this fall so keep yourself available. Although the comparison with your friend was okay I do think that if you spent more time with him you would find him lacking in some areas. It appears to be more of a mental connection than physical and I would be inclined to keep him as a friend. You are going through your second half-life Saturn and this is probably making you think more about settling down again. My name is Wanda and this is my situation. I am married with two kids. I have been married for one year and eight months. After four months of being married my husband was with another girl. I know this because I came home and I found hickeys on his neck and I went in my bedroom and found a condom on the floor. That's when we started not getting along and I turned to my friends for help and support. I was talking to my husband's friend and we started to get closer and it turned out that we started to see each other every weekend and we started fooling around with each other and now we are seeing each other every now and then. My husband knows because he found us together. I am really in love with my husband's friend and I want to stay with him. But my husband won't let me leave him; he won't let me go. My husband is thirty years old, eight years older than I. We met in 1991 and have been together until this time. I really want to let go of him. I am not in love with him anymore. All I feel for him is friendship. I want to finish school as well and if I stay with him I would not have that opportunity. He is to jealous. We have three kids together 2girls & 1 boy. My daughter seven, son Tyler is six, my youngest is four. I gave up my first daughter at two weeks old because I was only thirteen years of age. Now that I am twenty-two and I want more out of life. Wanda, get a grip. You're twenty-two, you have the rest of your life ahead of you. Get your act together and get out of the situation you're in. You are with a man who obviously doesn't respect you or the marriage vows you took. Although you didn't submit his birth data or that of his friends I'd venture to say by your chart that you have been manipulated for some time with regard to relationships. Take your two children and get out of there before your boys think that it's okay to treat a woman the way you're being treated. Secondly, two wrongs don't make a right. Fooling around with one of your husband's friends is not the answer. You need to get back to basics and sort out your feelings and your life before you get involved with someone else. You are best to seek help first. You should be doing whatever you can to remove the children and yourself from your current situation. There are homes that will take you in with your children if you are abused and if your husband is jealous, refusing to let you leave, and running around on you, that should be enough for you to get help. If you have family to turn to, do so. However, if your parents let you hang out with this man when you were thirteen and he was twenty-one I have a feeling that they won't be much help now. By your chart I can tell you that your home environment is moving into better times but it will take your initiative to turn things around for yourself so get moving. You are in a high cycle where learning is concerned and you should be taking advantage of this. You can apply for social assistance to help you and your kids. You should also look into courses that the government offers to those who want to make life better for them self. You live in a country that gives so much to those-in-need that there is no excuse for anyone to put up with the lifestyle that you are living right now. Get moving girl, and don't look back. I really would like some advice on how to get ahead in life and to really let myself shine. I seem to always be putting others objectives before my own but feel that I?m shooting myself in the foot and not letting myself reach my best (which I feel could be something great). My two main important queries are with my career and love. I've studied acting through university and just moved countries from Australia to the United Kingdom after graduating. Since then my career path has changed from acting to singing/songwriting and it has really lit a 'flame in my belly'. My main concern is how to get ahead by using my talents and what future trends may be hindering or helping me astrologically.? My second is love, which always seems to be somewhat of a minefield for me - e.g. I like people who don't like me or there is no chance with and keep going back convincing myself there is 'something' there - plus not being able to be myself with them, or friends I care about turn out to like me (and I don't in that way) and in some instances I've surrendered to them to not lose them. The other thing is my sexuality is quite open-minded which is quite confusing in itself.
At the moment I?m in a really positive place feeling like I?m on the verge of something brilliant - but I?m just not sure how I?m going to get there. Motivation hasn't always been my strongest attribute - I'm better at ambition and imagination. Any help Eugenia is greatly appreciated! I was born February 10, 1982, at 8:09 AM.

You are in a high cycle where your career is concerned until the fall of this year so you have no time to waste. You must be approaching the record publishing companies and promoting and performing as much as you can between now and the fall ? and if that means putting in a lot of time and doing freebies so be it. I wouldn?t worry too much about relationships right now. It is apparent that come August you will be in a much better position to meet someone more to your liking. Part of your problem has been the fact that you were born with a Venus Saturn square in your chart in an area that deals with relationships and your status in society with regard to partnerships. This can make it awkward for you to feel at ease with someone during the early stages of your relationship making it difficult to make the kind of impression that will seal the deal. I believe that you are coming into your own in that regard and during the latter part of this year and most of next you will meet people who are more inclined to see you for whom you are and recognize your talents as well. During that period you should be able to reach out and get the help and favors required to get ahead as well as meet potential partners both in the industry as well as at a personal level.
