This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Dear Eugenia,

I am a 44 year old female born December 22, 1958 at 10 pm and currently residing in New York. I have recently become involved in a long distance relationship with a younger man (he resides in North Carolina). I grew up in his hometown and visit it quite frequently, at least once every other month. Not only is he younger but also he is a Gemini (DOB 6/17/74). Which I have been told he is not compatible with my sign and to steer clear. Yet our time together is very special. He is a great conversationalist, while am a good listener. He appreciates the fact that I only offer advice when he requests it. I find him highly intelligent and that is most important to me. The problem is I am always drawn to Gemini's, if I would walk in a room full of available bachelors the one that I would be most attracted to would turn out to be a Gemini. I have dated several and even married one. Is there something wrong with me or is there a reason why this type of man seems to draw me out?

Dear Wondering

You were born with the sign Aquarius in an area of your chart that deals with partnerships and relationships therefore the Air signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are not bad for you. I do think that Geminis are particularly good because they fall in an area of people who can help you achieve your dreams, hopes and wishes for the future. You can learn from them and prosper because of them. With your Sun and Venus in the sign Capricorn you will always do better with partners who are much younger or much older than you are and with your Mercury and Saturn in Sagittarius you will always be attracted to Gemini's or men who are intellectual. You will be in a much higher cycle for love beginning this fall so keep yourself available. Although the comparison with your friend was okay I do think that if you spent more time with him you would find him lacking in some areas. It appears to be more of a mental connection than physical and I would be inclined to keep him as a friend. You are going through your second half-life Saturn and this is probably making you think more about settling down again. Don't be too quick you have plenty of time and I do believe that Mr. Right is just around the corner.

Hi Eugenia!

Reluctantly, I must write you about matters of the heart. I am truly a contrarian Aquarian - I am going against the prevailing wisdom of almost every human I have encountered, and I am seeing someone who is considered in some circles to be unsavory, devious, shallow, self-absorbed etc....Now, this isn't the sad old story of a long-suffering girl who wants to change "her man". Who puts up with crap because she can't stand to be alone. No. I am a people-savvy person and I really do not think he deserves *most* of his negative publicity. And who wants someone completely uncontroversial and bland anyway? I was born January 28, 1974, at 11:50 PM and he January 23, 1966. So, what the heck do the stars have say about this coupling? And what does my long-term future hold? Will I have a farm, a hubby, some chickens and kids? Or will I be an eccentric old lady, alone with her cats? You rock Eugenia. You look fantastic as a blonde!

Hi Aquarius

Hate to disappoint you and agree with your friends but I do. The comparison shows evidence of deception and isn't even all that conducive to a good connection but there certainly is a physical bond and chemistry that is holding you. I call this kind of connection "meeting your Messiah" I have seen it many times and it is as if you can not help yourself regardless what anyone tells you. Don't feel bad it is very often the case that the person abducted by his or her Messiah is very bright, intelligent, even intuitive but when it comes to this kind of match up all ability to do what's best is gone. I hope you find the strength to distance yourself and move on as I do believe over the course of the time spent with this person you will lose self-esteem, confidence and probably everything else you like about yourself. Hopefully your friends are willing to stick around for however long it takes for you to see the light.

I read my horoscope - Gemini. Today's date is 7/13/02. My Birthday is May 26,1991 at 4:37 PM. I know I seem young but I read my horoscope and it said (I'll break it down to my own words) It said to avoid any dispute with a family member even though one of them is hiding something, and don't make any money deals. Can you just tell me what that meant???

First of all the caption means that someone in your family may try to pick a fight with you. That this person is probably also withholding information as well and is trying to divert your attention from this information by arguing with you about other things. At your age money deals refer to making small bets with friends, spending your allowance all in one place or borrowing from one of your friends when you aren't sure that you can pay him or her back. The daily horoscope is not that cut and dry. You may be a Gemini by sun sign but that's where it ends in your chart. You have your Moon and Pluto in the sign Scorpio in your 2nd house, Libra rising, Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn in your 3rd house, Saturn in Aquarius in your 4th house, Mercury in Taurus in your 7th house, the Sun in Gemini in your 8th house, Venus in Cancer in your 9th house and Mars and Jupiter in Leo in your 10th house. Your chart consists of many different factors. Because you have what I refer to as split houses you should be reading two different signs relating to different areas of your life when dealing with houses in your chart that do not have planets in them. In your case you should be reading the sign Libra/Scorpio in the daily horoscope column for the way you feel on any given day. You should be reading the sign Scorpio if it is an issue that relates to how you can make some money or your early childhood. You should be reading the sign Capricorn for issues relating to your lower education, communications with friends, neighbors or relatives and anything to do with mail, transportation pleasure trips etc. You should be reading the sign Aquarius for issues relating to your home environment and older family members, the sign Aquarius/Pisces regarding social activities, creativity, gambling etc. The sign Pisces/Aries when relating to how well you get along with people you work with, anything to do with a pet that you might have or minor health problems.
