I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I am a 44 year old female born December 22, 1958 at 10 pm and currently residing in New York. I have recently become involved in a long distance relationship with a younger man (he resides in North Carolina). I grew up in his hometown and visit it quite frequently, at least once every other month. Not only is he younger but also he is a Gemini (DOB 6/17/74). Which I have been told he is not compatible with my sign and to steer clear. Yet our time together is very special. He is a great conversationalist, while am a good listener. He appreciates the fact that I only offer advice when he requests it. I find him highly intelligent and that is most important to me. The problem is I am always drawn to Gemini's, if I would walk in a room full of available bachelors the one that I would be most attracted to would turn out to be a Gemini. I have dated several and even married one. Is there something wrong with me or is there a reason why this type of man seems to draw me out?

You were born with the sign Aquarius in an area of your chart that deals with partnerships and relationships therefore the Air signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are not bad for you. I do think that Geminis are particularly good because they fall in an area of people who can help you achieve your dreams, hopes and wishes for the future. You can learn from them and prosper because of them. With your Sun and Venus in the sign Capricorn you will always do better with partners who are much younger or much older than you are and with your Mercury and Saturn in Sagittarius you will always be attracted to Gemini's or men who are intellectual. You will be in a much higher cycle for love beginning this fall so keep yourself available. Although the comparison with your friend was okay I do think that if you spent more time with him you would find him lacking in some areas. It appears to be more of a mental connection than physical and I would be inclined to keep him as a friend. You are going through your second half-life Saturn and this is probably making you think more about settling down again. Don't be too quick you have plenty of time and I do believe that Mr. Right is just around the corner.

My long-term question is that electronic astrology programs mention that I have latent undiscovered psychic or spiritual abilities. My AstroAdvice Natal Analysis says, "You can use your psychic abilities to get ahead in the world" and rates it 90%. I heard a suggestion that meditation can awaken this ability which could improve my environment and let me help myself as well as others. My interest in this subject is mainly spiritual as I have strong interests in improving myself spiritually. In your opinion and from your experience, how may I do so?My medium term question is my choice of career. Would my choice of career affect psychic or spiritual development (above question)? I wish to pursue electrical engineering.
My short-term question is that on 13th July 2000 and 18th July 2000 I suffered two minor accidents, the latter being one involving a motor vehicle. Is the time right for me to be on the road driving a motor vehicle? I was born June 17, 1980, at 2:54 PM.

Your chart does indicate Psychic ability however it appears to be in an area that deals with your well being and investments. Regarding helping you in your professional pursuits I think you have a natural ability to excel. You should do well in your chosen field and although you will have to work hard over the next couple of years you should find that between 2002 and 2008 you will have all kinds of opportunities to get ahead. I do not believe that your professional obligations will stand in the way of your spiritual or psychic growth. You should find that you will begin to expand your awareness in psychic areas next summer and this will set your spiritual course for years to come. Just because someone does well in business or has a career that is analytical does not mean that he or she cannot reach as high a spiritual or psychic level. You may want to take an interest course next year that will help you develop your intuitive abilities even further. Concerning your accidents I feel it was due to transiting Mars conjunct your natal Mercury in a transportation area of your chart. This particular transit can also cause arguments with friends or relatives, problems while traveling or difficulties with teachers. Although it has moved on for the time being it is something that can occur from time to time.

This is my first time to do this and I'm a little nervous. I recently was in a three-year relationship with a gentleman born Nov.17, 1950, no birth time, I was born February 23, 1948, at 7:04 AM. We have known each other for years but each of us married and went out separate ways. He was married for 27 years and then got divorced, not his choice. He found me through my brother and came to see me the day he received his divorce papers and wanted me to read the papers for advice. Having been through a divorce I was very familiar with the situation and I helped him. Since that day we became friends again and talk nearly everyday. As time we on we became very close and I being a fool fell madly in love with this wonderful man. We lived together for three years. On April 12, 2003 he told me I needed to move out because he needed some time and space between us to think things out. He had never really gotten over his ex wife and was hoping she would try to come back. Several people told him as long as I was living with him she would never come back, so he ask me to leave. Well, to make a long story short she never intended to come back, it was wishful hoping on his part. After I left, we began seeing each other a few days a week and talked nearly everyday but he didn't really want to pursue out relationship as it was. We had a wonderful relationship; we were best friends, lovers and did everything together. He told me he was happy until everyone was telling him his ex wanted to come back and that confused him. I was so hurt. Now he is with someone four years younger and not even acting like the same person. Our last date was June 6, 2003 and his first date her was June 7, 2003 and they have been inseparable ever since. He moved into her home on June 18, 2003 and has no real contact with me since. His was a great family man with his children and grandchildren and now has moved out of his house and has really nothing to do with them. The woman he is with has her own successful business and has money. He has told several of our friends that he thinks the world of me and what a wonderful person I am. He will always love me but not be in love with me. The few time I have seen him, such as when I went to get me things from his home he was all over me (hugging & kissing). I have not heard from him for two weeks and never will. He is with this woman night and day, when he was on vacation he would even go to her work so she would not have contact with other people without him. He tells our friends he has a cute little rich girlfriend now. What do I do, I'm trying to get on with my life, I now have a good job but I am miserable without him. They have nothing in common. Quite the situation you are experiencing. You didn't tell me his new girlfriends birth date so I don't know how well they match up but I can tell you that your comparison with him really wasn't very good. You have a great chart however especially where your work is concerned and you can find love with the right person but you have to make your choices when it comes to love for the right reason. This man was on the rebound when you met him. That is never a very good way to start out a relationship and although I believe his connection to this younger woman probably won't last I do feel that he has been going through a certain amount of restlessness that has made him react suddenly. Unfortunately he is going through a very erratic period and this will continue for some time.
