I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I am a 44 year old female born December 22, 1958 at 10 pm and currently residing in New York. I have recently become involved in a long distance relationship with a younger man (he resides in North Carolina). I grew up in his hometown and visit it quite frequently, at least once every other month. Not only is he younger but also he is a Gemini (DOB 6/17/74). Which I have been told he is not compatible with my sign and to steer clear. Yet our time together is very special. He is a great conversationalist, while am a good listener. He appreciates the fact that I only offer advice when he requests it. I find him highly intelligent and that is most important to me. The problem is I am always drawn to Gemini's, if I would walk in a room full of available bachelors the one that I would be most attracted to would turn out to be a Gemini. I have dated several and even married one. Is there something wrong with me or is there a reason why this type of man seems to draw me out?

You were born with the sign Aquarius in an area of your chart that deals with partnerships and relationships therefore the Air signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are not bad for you. I do think that Geminis are particularly good because they fall in an area of people who can help you achieve your dreams, hopes and wishes for the future. You can learn from them and prosper because of them. With your Sun and Venus in the sign Capricorn you will always do better with partners who are much younger or much older than you are and with your Mercury and Saturn in Sagittarius you will always be attracted to Gemini's or men who are intellectual. You will be in a much higher cycle for love beginning this fall so keep yourself available. Although the comparison with your friend was okay I do think that if you spent more time with him you would find him lacking in some areas. It appears to be more of a mental connection than physical and I would be inclined to keep him as a friend. You are going through your second half-life Saturn and this is probably making you think more about settling down again. I have in the last several years come out of my denial as a person and become more conscious. In the past however, I have not always made the best choices in relationships. I either stayed too long or left too soon. I am attractive and interesting but am wondering if astrologically there will be better times in the future for relationships than the present. Things seem to be difficult for love and money at this time. In the past things seemed to happen more naturally but now I just seem to be sitting on the "fence of life" When will I jump off. I was born July 27, 1951, at 5:30 AM.

You are going through a period that can cloud your perception especially where relationships are concerned and therefore sitting on the fence may not be a bad idea for now. You can however put your efforts into areas that are positive in your life. Consider making new friends by getting involved in organizations you believe in. Perhaps volunteering to help campaign for a political group. You need to be spending time with others and that doesn't mean looking for love. Building solid friendships is where it's at for you right now. That can be with either gender. I wrote to you a couple of times before. I'm not sure if you received my letters or not. Anyways, I need you to answer a question concerning my friendship with my girlfriend. I want to know if we are compatible and if she's being a true friend to me. I get the feeling that she lies to me and is trying to avoid me because she doesn't want anything to do with me. Could you please tell me if this is true and if it is, why is that? How does she really feel about me and our friendship? I thought that we were compatible because we're both born on the cusp. I was born on June 21,1974 at 6:26 p.m and she was born October 23,1971. Is she more of a Libra or a Scorpio or do I need a birth time for that? I can understand your concern. The comparison wasn't all that great and there is definitely an element of sorrow and possible deception regarding this connection. The deception however could be your view of the relationship. You may not be looking at this union in the same way that she is. I believe that you may be taking it far more seriously and this can lead to future problems. You may want to rethink your motives and your intentions before you try to move forward with this person. You match up well to those born under the signs Gemini, Sagittarius and Aquarius.
