For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I am a 44 year old female born December 22, 1958 at 10 pm and currently residing in New York. I have recently become involved in a long distance relationship with a younger man (he resides in North Carolina). I grew up in his hometown and visit it quite frequently, at least once every other month. Not only is he younger but also he is a Gemini (DOB 6/17/74). Which I have been told he is not compatible with my sign and to steer clear. Yet our time together is very special. He is a great conversationalist, while am a good listener. He appreciates the fact that I only offer advice when he requests it. I find him highly intelligent and that is most important to me. The problem is I am always drawn to Gemini's, if I would walk in a room full of available bachelors the one that I would be most attracted to would turn out to be a Gemini. I have dated several and even married one. Is there something wrong with me or is there a reason why this type of man seems to draw me out?

You were born with the sign Aquarius in an area of your chart that deals with partnerships and relationships therefore the Air signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are not bad for you. I do think that Geminis are particularly good because they fall in an area of people who can help you achieve your dreams, hopes and wishes for the future. You can learn from them and prosper because of them. With your Sun and Venus in the sign Capricorn you will always do better with partners who are much younger or much older than you are and with your Mercury and Saturn in Sagittarius you will always be attracted to Gemini's or men who are intellectual. You will be in a much higher cycle for love beginning this fall so keep yourself available. Although the comparison with your friend was okay I do think that if you spent more time with him you would find him lacking in some areas. It appears to be more of a mental connection than physical and I would be inclined to keep him as a friend. You are going through your second half-life Saturn and this is probably making you think more about settling down again. Don't be too quick you have plenty of time and I do believe that Mr. Right is just around the corner.

I really don't know how to dress this up to sound any different than a million other peoples problem but my financial situation has been so bad for so long now I really am losing all hope of ever getting back up off the floor. I really do value your input as you correctly told me the outcome of a relationship I thought was rock solid.
I'm a divorced dad, live alone and have a mountain of debt thanks to loans to keep myself afloat. Trouble is I'm sinking again. And please believe me when I tell you I am careful with money to the point of boredom.
Do you see any point for me to keep coming back or is this my lot in life?

There does appear to be some relief just around the corner. The transit began August 10th and will continue with you until October 9th. It denotes that you can make some financial changes through career choices. You should be trying to do one of two things or both. Pick up another job or look for one that will pay you more and although you may say been there, tried that, in the past it probably would not have done you any good but over the course of the next two months it is apparent that you should be able to up your income if you apply for a better position or take on an extra job. That will at least help you get out of the hole you are in. With Mars being closest to the earth that it has been in 60,000 years and Jupiter quickly moving into the sign Jupiter opposite Mars there is a lot of anxiety that people are undergoing right now. In your case it does fall in an area that deals with how you earn your living and what you do with the money you earn. I do believe that you are careful with your cash but I also believe that there are other means that you can take to make your money stretch. The area of your chart that deals with investments is stabilizing and where property, dealing with other people's money, taxes rebates, insurance surrenders, inheritances, winnings and coming into money that you don't physically work for is now moving into a much higher cycle. This can also be a time that you discover that you have an asset that you either forgot about or that you realize you can turn over in order to consolidate your debt. You must be creative in your financial thinking and don't be afraid to invest a little in yourself. You may be able to offer a service on the side that will enable you to turn some of the negatives in your life into positives. I know that your chart has gone through some very difficult times financially the past two to three years but put that behind you and start to concentrate on what you have to offer. Now is the time to make your moves my friend. You have two months to do so. Don't give up now when the tables are just about to turn. It's up to you to initiate these changes and make them so. My birth date is July 15, 1979, at 3:15 PM. I've been involved in a gay relationship with another guy (Birth date: 03 June 1977 05:15 PM) for the last 3 months. When we started our relationship he was living with his ex and he said it was a "living arrangement"...I believed him. Anyway during our relationship he would rarely visit me (we stay in different cities) and behave oddly if I ran into him in a public place with his ex around. Eventually he came clean with me (his friends forced him to tell the truth) and it turned out that he'd been having a relationship with the "ex" at the same time as me, and recently started seeing yet another guy. After all of this and around 2 weeks of deciding what to do, I called him and we broke it off. Leaving me very hurt and confused...He still says that he loves me and everything we had was real, but I'm at a loss to describe the pain this has caused me. Especially since him and the new guy are now fully in a relationship. I'd really like some advice on this situation, and if I should be foolish enough to still hope that one day we will get back together...

You met your messiah, in other words you met someone who captured your heart and you had no power to pry yourself from him. The comparison was so powerful between you. This Gemini is just as bad for you as he is good. You can't however allow yourself to be played with this way. It isn't good for your self-esteem. You are too proud to forgive and you shouldn't forget. Playing sexual games can be dangerous and it's obvious that your Gemini friend doesn't care enough about any of his partners to be open and honest about his goings on. Unfortunately he probably will slip in and out of your life until you put a stop to it. I strongly suggest that you put up your guard and move on. You will be coming into a transit over the summer as well as during the first half of next year that does indicate that people from your past will want back into your life. You must remember that he will not change. He is not a lover who can be true to one person, let alone himself. If you go with him you will be risking your emotional and your physical well-being. During this transit, it can also mean that you will have some new people come into your life. However, if someone is preoccupying your life you aren't likely to have the opportunity to start a new relationship. I know that your Gemini friend is exciting and adventurous and that you have plenty of chemistry with him but that will not be enough in this case. Please consider making yourself a list of all the reasons why this person hurt you, and why you should not be together and carry it with you. When he tries to come back into your life read your notes. Hopefully you will find the strength to say no to him. You do match up to, and attract, the sign Gemini. Nonetheless Gemini's are not good for you in general due to your natal Neptune placement. You should consider a Leo or Aquarius for future relationships.
