This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Dear Eugenia,

I am a 44 year old female born December 22, 1958 at 10 pm and currently residing in New York. I have recently become involved in a long distance relationship with a younger man (he resides in North Carolina). I grew up in his hometown and visit it quite frequently, at least once every other month. Not only is he younger but also he is a Gemini (DOB 6/17/74). Which I have been told he is not compatible with my sign and to steer clear. Yet our time together is very special. He is a great conversationalist, while am a good listener. He appreciates the fact that I only offer advice when he requests it. I find him highly intelligent and that is most important to me. The problem is I am always drawn to Gemini's, if I would walk in a room full of available bachelors the one that I would be most attracted to would turn out to be a Gemini. I have dated several and even married one. Is there something wrong with me or is there a reason why this type of man seems to draw me out?

Dear Wondering

You were born with the sign Aquarius in an area of your chart that deals with partnerships and relationships therefore the Air signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are not bad for you. I do think that Geminis are particularly good because they fall in an area of people who can help you achieve your dreams, hopes and wishes for the future. You can learn from them and prosper because of them. With your Sun and Venus in the sign Capricorn you will always do better with partners who are much younger or much older than you are and with your Mercury and Saturn in Sagittarius you will always be attracted to Gemini's or men who are intellectual. You will be in a much higher cycle for love beginning this fall so keep yourself available. Although the comparison with your friend was okay I do think that if you spent more time with him you would find him lacking in some areas. It appears to be more of a mental connection than physical and I would be inclined to keep him as a friend. You are going through your second half-life Saturn and this is probably making you think more about settling down again. Don't be too quick you have plenty of time and I do believe that Mr. Right is just around the corner.

Article: A Broken Heart Seeks Advice

Hi there Eugenia,

My birth date is July 15, 1979, at 3:15 PM. I've been involved in a gay relationship with another guy (Birth date: 03 June 1977 05:15 PM) for the last 3 months. When we started our relationship he was living with his ex and he said it was a "living arrangement"...I believed him. Anyway during our relationship he would rarely visit me (we stay in different cities) and behave oddly if I ran into him in a public place with his ex around. Eventually he came clean with me (his friends forced him to tell the truth) and it turned out that he'd been having a relationship with the "ex" at the same time as me, and recently started seeing yet another guy. After all of this and around 2 weeks of deciding what to do, I called him and we broke it off. Leaving me very hurt and confused...He still says that he loves me and everything we had was real, but I'm at a loss to describe the pain this has caused me. Especially since him and the new guy are now fully in a relationship. I'd really like some advice on this situation, and if I should be foolish enough to still hope that one day we will get back together...

You met your messiah, in other words you met someone who captured your heart and you had no power to pry yourself from him. The comparison was so powerful between you. This Gemini is just as bad for you as he is good. You can't however allow yourself to be played with this way. It isn't good for your self-esteem. You are too proud to forgive and you shouldn't forget. Playing sexual games can be dangerous and it's obvious that your Gemini friend doesn't care enough about any of his partners to be open and honest about his goings on. Unfortunately he probably will slip in and out of your life until you put a stop to it. I strongly suggest that you put up your guard and move on. You will be coming into a transit over the summer as well as during the first half of next year that does indicate that people from your past will want back into your life. You must remember that he will not change. He is not a lover who can be true to one person, let alone himself. If you go with him you will be risking your emotional and your physical well-being. During this transit, it can also mean that you will have some new people come into your life. However, if someone is preoccupying your life you aren't likely to have the opportunity to start a new relationship. I know that your Gemini friend is exciting and adventurous and that you have plenty of chemistry with him but that will not be enough in this case. Please consider making yourself a list of all the reasons why this person hurt you, and why you should not be together and carry it with you. When he tries to come back into your life read your notes. Hopefully you will find the strength to say no to him. You do match up to, and attract, the sign Gemini. Nonetheless Gemini's are not good for you in general due to your natal Neptune placement. You should consider a Leo or Aquarius for future relationships.

I have written about five times now, I realize that you are very busy & I'm hoping this is my lucky day.I was born on the 19th of May 1943, at 1 am & do not know for sure what sign I am under. Also I have been separated from my Husband for about 7 years. He has another partner & is doing very well financially & with his new love (his birth date is June 3, 1943). I would really like to know what is in store for me love, financial & job. Please Please answer this one as I am very depressed & no longer feel there is any hope for me.

You were born under the sign Taurus - there is no question about that but you also have a strong Gemini influence having your natal Mercury, Saturn and Uranus in that sign. The sign Cancer is also strongly placed in your chart with both your natal Venus and Jupiter situated in that sign, all that being said it probably leaves you a little bit confused. A chart is made up of many different facets your sun sign being a small but important part of the big picture. In your case the sign Taurus affects areas of your chart that deal with communication as well as your home environment. You are slowly but surely moving into a much better position where work and money are concerned but at the age you are at right now you will have to be very smart about the way you go at it. For the rest of this year and most of next you are in a high cycle regarding apprenticeships and learning new skills. It's hard to get into a position like that because of age discrimination these days so it will be important that you consider areas of work and learning that won't discriminate. Consider real estate or a product or service for the home, something that you can virtually be your own boss. If you pick up the skills or information you require now you will find yourself in a much better position this time next year. You don't have a bad chart you've just gone through some rough transits. Regarding your ex-husband, you do have a good comparison however even the best don't always last especially where Gemini males are concerned, in his case he as four planets in that sign. The past couple of years have probably not been the best for him either although he probably wouldn't share this with anyone.
