I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I am a 44 year old female born December 22, 1958 at 10 pm and currently residing in New York. I have recently become involved in a long distance relationship with a younger man (he resides in North Carolina). I grew up in his hometown and visit it quite frequently, at least once every other month. Not only is he younger but also he is a Gemini (DOB 6/17/74). Which I have been told he is not compatible with my sign and to steer clear. Yet our time together is very special. He is a great conversationalist, while am a good listener. He appreciates the fact that I only offer advice when he requests it. I find him highly intelligent and that is most important to me. The problem is I am always drawn to Gemini's, if I would walk in a room full of available bachelors the one that I would be most attracted to would turn out to be a Gemini. I have dated several and even married one. Is there something wrong with me or is there a reason why this type of man seems to draw me out?

You were born with the sign Aquarius in an area of your chart that deals with partnerships and relationships therefore the Air signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are not bad for you. I do think that Geminis are particularly good because they fall in an area of people who can help you achieve your dreams, hopes and wishes for the future. You can learn from them and prosper because of them. With your Sun and Venus in the sign Capricorn you will always do better with partners who are much younger or much older than you are and with your Mercury and Saturn in Sagittarius you will always be attracted to Gemini's or men who are intellectual. You will be in a much higher cycle for love beginning this fall so keep yourself available. Although the comparison with your friend was okay I do think that if you spent more time with him you would find him lacking in some areas. I was born in Boston, MA at 3:06am on March 6, 1975. My career is going no where. I keep running into dead ends. Every time I find a job I end up wanting to quit within 1-4 months. You can imagine what my resume looks like. I do try to commit, but always find the situation unbearable. Right now, I'm at 4 months and barely hanging on. I always want to quit because of office politics. I once heard someone say "don't be a part of office politics, but do be aware it." "mind your own business, and do your work." I have done both of these. And at every job I am constantly the "butt" of office gossip. I am aware that for me to be quiet and do my work will seem threatening to some. But why am I treated so meanly even if I am nice to everyone? I have had co-workers ruin my projects or take credit for my work. I have had plenty say negative untrue things about me and people actually believe them! Talking to managers doesn't work either. I've tried and have been put down by them or simply laughed at or ignored. I've even been fired for not being able to get along with a co-worker even though it was the co-worker who did all the "mean things". And at my current job, I am afraid this may happen again. I feel like I get the brunt of it more than anyone else. And I am sure I am not being paranoid or overly sensitive. I am professional and mature as possible and as I can be. So what's wrong with me? I am seeking therapy, however, what do you see in all this? Please tell me anything you can. Please help me. I am deeply worried, concerned, & afraid for my work/career situations. Your sensitivity regarding work and money is and has been a little out of control over the course of the past couple of years and although you are not quite over the hump as of yet relief is on the way. Your chart indicates that you should be working in a field that is a little unusual, that you need to be creative, nurturing and inventive. The area of your chart that deals with higher education is in a high cycle for the next few months and that means that an apprenticeship or picking up skills that could help you change your vocation may be the answer. You might want to consider starting your own business as well. You need to be doing something that you feel is going to give you something back at some point. Over the course of the past two years you also had transiting Neptune hitting your chart in such a way that it was causing deception, disillusionment and misunderstandings with colleagues and employers. Take three steps back and decide what it is you want to do and start to move in that direction. It's never to late to make a career change especially if it will lead to doing something that you can enjoy.

I need some advice about the direction of my life. I graduated last year and am currently studying for my Masters. However, it is not in the subject I wish to continue in. I feel stuck and as if I have nowhere to go after I finish it, don't want to do any of the jobs I will be qualified for. I am seriously considering going back to studying again next year and hope I will be able to get to where I want to be by doing this. This path is long and by no means certain and I don't know whether to take this chance or to try to apply for jobs I don't really want to do, I feel I would be unhappy. Also I am concerned that my indecision and my continued studying would ruin my chances of happiness with the man I want to be with. Maybe I should just follow him and see what happens for me there? His date of birth is 26/09/1977, I have no time and mine is 16/05/1978, around 7.29 am. Or should I move back to Ireland to my family? I don't think I would be content doing that but I really don't know anymore! Help please Eugenia!!

Your chart indicates that you should be studying for at least another three years and possibly longer depending on what it is you are going to school to learn. Whatever educational studies you have completed will never be wasted even if you don?t decide to pursue a career in that field at this time. It is said that the next generation coming into the workforce will have up to five, maybe even more different careers throughout their lifetime. For you to stay in school and gain more knowledge and experience can only help you in the long run, especially if you?re willing to put in the hours and hard work required.
Regarding moving home with your parents, only if it means that it will be easier for you to pursue the subjects that you want to take. You have the planet Neptune transiting through an area of your chart that deals with higher education and this can cause one of two things or possibly both. You will be confused about your educational pursuits, which you are already. You will want to go into a field that is creative or that deals with philosophy, religion etc. If this is the case you may find yourself in this state for the better part of the next eight years. Don?t limit yourself so that you look back on your life when you are old and say could of, would of, should of. You are young and you?ve got your whole life ahead of you and it?s a perfect time to learn all that you can in order to ensure that you will have a successful future.
As for the boyfriend, well the comparison was okay except for the confusion and possible deception at an emotional and intellectual level. I don?t know that I would follow him, unless you will be able to continue your studies at the same time and get the support you need from him to do so. Opportunities for love and romance will be in high gear next year so don?t worry about being on your own for a while.
