For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I'm a Cancer (7/6/69 2.40 am, Gemini asc.) who's looking for a long-term partner. I tend to look out only for guys of compatible signs, cause I'm thinking that they're the only ones that could yield a healthy long-term relationship. In the last year I find I've been meeting a lot of Libras (clashes with my sun) and Virgos (clashes with my Gemini asc.) but I've not pursued them for the reasons stated. I've read that compatible sun sign relationships are more likely to grow together over the years whereas incompatible sun sign relationships were more likely to grow apart over the years. Am I guilty of Sun sign prejudice (smile), or just taking the astrology thing a little too seriously? Please help.

One thing that most people don't realize is that to use astrology to the degree that is required for the purposes of compatibility you must do a complete astrological comparison between yourself and the person you are interested in. According to the date time and place that you have submitted you are in fact born under the sign Cancer but that's where is ends You have a Taurus ascendant not Gemini, two planets in Virgo well aspected to your Venus in Taurus which makes both Virgo and Taurus a good fit and Uranus in Libra in your fifth house using equal house method and sixth using placidus which means that this sign is better to socialize or work with.
In the area of your chart that deals with partnerships you have the sign Scorpio and this makes that sign Compatible as well. Sagittarius and Gemini fall in your second and eighth house the eighth being dead-end projects and the second an offshoot of the eighth making these signs the least likely especially with the Virgo that you have in your chart. Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, late Capricorn and Pisces should be the better signs for you.

I have written about five times now, I realize that you are very busy & I'm hoping this is my lucky day.I was born on the 19th of May 1943, at 1 am & do not know for sure what sign I am under. Also I have been separated from my Husband for about 7 years. He has another partner & is doing very well financially & with his new love (his birth date is June 3, 1943). I would really like to know what is in store for me love, financial & job. Please Please answer this one as I am very depressed & no longer feel there is any hope for me.

You were born under the sign Taurus - there is no question about that but you also have a strong Gemini influence having your natal Mercury, Saturn and Uranus in that sign. The sign Cancer is also strongly placed in your chart with both your natal Venus and Jupiter situated in that sign, all that being said it probably leaves you a little bit confused. A chart is made up of many different facets your sun sign being a small but important part of the big picture. In your case the sign Taurus affects areas of your chart that deal with communication as well as your home environment. You are slowly but surely moving into a much better position where work and money are concerned but at the age you are at right now you will have to be very smart about the way you go at it. For the rest of this year and most of next you are in a high cycle regarding apprenticeships and learning new skills. It's hard to get into a position like that because of age discrimination these days so it will be important that you consider areas of work and learning that won't discriminate. Consider real estate or a product or service for the home, something that you can virtually be your own boss. If you pick up the skills or information you require now you will find yourself in a much better position this time next year. You don't have a bad chart you've just gone through some rough transits. Regarding your ex-husband, you do have a good comparison however even the best don't always last especially where Gemini males are concerned, in his case he as four planets in that sign. The past couple of years have probably not been the best for him either although he probably wouldn't share this with anyone. I feel his problems have probably been of an emotional as well as physical nature. I don't know how much contact you have with him but I believe that you should probably get in touch with him now. I think that you still have some unresolved issues and that he may be willing to help you out. Although your chart stills shows some depression and limitations financially that transit is lifting over the course of the next two months and I feel that you will be singing a different tune by the fall. This is my 2nd attempt to earn your analysis/insight. Close to 1 year ago, the relationship I had with my fiance began to crumble. Although we had known each other quite well since grade school, we did not become a serious couple until 5/97. My birth info: 3/27/76 at 1:05pm. His birth info: 3/20/76 at about 4:20pm- our breakup began 7/14/00 and he ended our relationship in a letter I got 8/14/00. We were to wed 11/18/00. We don't talk anymore. I am missing many answers as to why our solid relationship failed. It's like he just gave up. I do know he became involved w/ another girl 6/00. I discovered this after our relationship ended. I don't know her birth info, but have learned that their relationship recently ended.
I made a lot of changes after my engagement ended...new location/new job. I'm happy with my new job; esp. since I'm now earning much more money, however money is still tight, as I am trying to pay off my debts (credit cards).
My questions for you involve the outlook of my future. What do you see? My social circle in my new location is lacking. I haven't come close to dating since my engagement ended. This is partially due to me needing to 'heal' and partially due to not finding anyone who would go out with me. I'm thankful for my great job..but what about friends....romance? What do you see? Will my ex-fianc? and I cross paths again, or is there really someone else out there who's my soul mate? Will I succeed financially? I had so many goals that I wanted to have accomplished by now--be married...be debt-free (or close to debt-free) and I haven't accomplished them. Gosh, are things ever going to get better so I can be happy about all aspects of my life? I'm losing the faith. Please help.

The comparison between you and your ex wasn't that great therefore you should view your situation as a blessing in disguise. I wouldn't however be surprised if you did cross paths again during the course of the next year because both your chart and his indicate people from your past coming back into your lives. This can also mean new romantic ties so please look forward not back. If you get out and involved in worthwhile community groups you will meet some interesting people. Yes you will have to spend a little in order to have some fun or join groups that interest you but it will be worth investing in yourself, your future and meeting potential partners so get on with it. Investments will also be in a high cycle this year if you are conservative.
