This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

I'm a Cancer (7/6/69 2.40 am, Gemini asc.) who's looking for a long-term partner. I tend to look out only for guys of compatible signs, cause I'm thinking that they're the only ones that could yield a healthy long-term relationship. In the last year I find I've been meeting a lot of Libras (clashes with my sun) and Virgos (clashes with my Gemini asc.) but I've not pursued them for the reasons stated. I've read that compatible sun sign relationships are more likely to grow together over the years whereas incompatible sun sign relationships were more likely to grow apart over the years. Am I guilty of Sun sign prejudice (smile), or just taking the astrology thing a little too seriously? Please help.

One thing that most people don't realize is that to use astrology to the degree that is required for the purposes of compatibility you must do a complete astrological comparison between yourself and the person you are interested in. According to the date time and place that you have submitted you are in fact born under the sign Cancer but that's where is ends You have a Taurus ascendant not Gemini, two planets in Virgo well aspected to your Venus in Taurus which makes both Virgo and Taurus a good fit and Uranus in Libra in your fifth house using equal house method and sixth using placidus which means that this sign is better to socialize or work with.

In the area of your chart that deals with partnerships you have the sign Scorpio and this makes that sign Compatible as well. Sagittarius and Gemini fall in your second and eighth house the eighth being dead-end projects and the second an offshoot of the eighth making these signs the least likely especially with the Virgo that you have in your chart. Article: A New Direction

Hi Eugenia

I participated in the Seoul Forum and I was fortunate enough to shake hands with you. You seemed a bit tired that day, I hope you are fine now....

I didn't have a chance to ask you about my problem. Although it is a bit late, I think now is the chance, so I'm writing to you. I'm working in a company right now, but I'm thinking of changing my career because I don't think this is the right direction for me. I'm thinking of starting to do counseling in hypnotized psychology. I'm learning bit by bit and I've been counseling the people I know. They all said it was interesting and it was helpful. Thus, I'm satisfied with it. I feel like this is my calling. I don't know whether it will bring me a better future or not...Or should I still continue to work in a company? Please let me know whether this is the right way or not. I was born December 12, 1972, at 8:30 AM. When you return to Seoul in February I hope to give you a hypnotized counseling session.

I'm glad you attended the forum and yes I was tired from the rigorous schedule that I had been on for the past couple of weeks. Regarding your question, I do believe that you have chosen a direction that is good for you. Your chart indicates that you have considerable talent in this area of work and that you are in a high learning cycle regarding such work for the better part of the next year. The area of your chart that deals with work and money is coming into a particularly high cycle beginning in April and I feel that you should be able to build on your business from that point on. I must tell you however that building up your clientele does not happen over night and that you may want to continue working for the company you are with until you feel confident that you are making enough doing your hypnotic counseling. When I first started taking on clients many years ago I worked for a company doing a job that didn't really interest me while I built my business. It meant working long hours but it was well worth the effort to finally be able to do the work that I love to do. Hang in there and I do believe that you will achieve the success that you're looking for over the course of the next five years. Article: A Baby With A Bottle

Dear Eugenia,

I have written to you a few times. I hope you can tell me what to do. I lost my mom on Nov. 13, 2000. I am very lost and lonely. I don't want to do anything but sleep. I have lived with my 3 year-olds father for 4 years. We don't get along very well. He is drinking a lot and also thinks I should be over the death of my mom already. He has two healthy parents, so he doesn't know what it is like. My dad was only given 1 to 3 months to live last week, because of cancer. My boyfriend (if that is what you call him) says I can pull myself out of this or die right along with them. He is no support to me. I know he is seeing someone else, but at this point I don't care. I just need some advice on what to do with the way I feel about life. I was born May 26, 1963, at 12 PM.

I can tell by the transits moving through your personal houses in your chart that you are at a turning point in your life regarding your partner. I feel that it is time to start thinking about the best way to make yours and your child's life better. You did not submit the birth data of either your child or the man you're living with therefore I can not explain his lack of support. My guess is that he can't face death himself therefore he is not able to justify the kind of loss that you are experiencing. It hasn't been very long since your mother died and with your father in the shape that he is in it must be extremely painful for you. You do however for the sake of your child have to handle your situation bravely. You should probably consider making a move in a positive direction (possibly away from your boyfriend) late spring or you should start talking to him about his insensitivity and telling him you need greater support and love if he expects you and your child to stay with him. Your depression and grieving you are experiencing will end but for now it is what you need in order to get through this most difficult period in your life.
