I'm a Cancer (7/6/69 2.40 am, Gemini asc.) who's looking for a long-term partner. I tend to look out only for guys of compatible signs, cause I'm thinking that they're the only ones that could yield a healthy long-term relationship. In the last year I find I've been meeting a lot of Libras (clashes with my sun) and Virgos (clashes with my Gemini asc.) but I've not pursued them for the reasons stated. I've read that compatible sun sign relationships are more likely to grow together over the years whereas incompatible sun sign relationships were more likely to grow apart over the years. Am I guilty of Sun sign prejudice (smile), or just taking the astrology thing a little too seriously? Please help.

Article: Lack of Continuity

Dear Eugenia,

Hi...I am born on the 20th of December 1982 at 4:30p.m. My girlfriend is born on the 4th of March 1983. I guess that you must be thinking that being 17 years old is too young to talk about love, but it is my wish to get married soon after I graduate from University due to a loneliness I have within me. Thus I hope that I may be able to find the one I love as early as possible so as to be able to enter into a closer relationship with her. In Singapore, after graduating from college, it is compulsory for all males upon reaching the age of 18 to be enlisted for compulsory National Service (NS) before they enter the University. And soon it will time for me to be enlisted. I have heard of many of my friends' relationships being shattered once the male enters into NS due to the lack of time the couple are able to spend with each other. Thus I fear for the continuity of my relationship with my girlfriend. Furthermore, what makes it worse is the fact that I can't help but feel that my girlfriend and I are not really that close to each other. She prefers to go out and be around her friends rather than spend time with me and is also unwilling to share her feelings with me. Is there an explanation astrologically, why I feel that we aren't that close to each other?? And is there a chance that this relationship may survive through till I graduate from the University (which is around six years from now)??

Hello! Eugenia

First of all I would like to say that it is very good that you use your talant to help others. I like your site very much. I even can say that it has helped me a lot. Unfourtunatelly my problem is connected with love life. As you can see I am born in 21st of July in 1980 (6 AM). It comes out that I am cancer. I really feel like this sensitive person when it comes to love life. I have been dating with three guy during my life. All these love relationships were very idealistic and romantic. I really loved (i guess i still do in some way) these guys. Especially the last one - Arnis (born April 2 in 1978, 12.10 AM), which i can call my dream boy. He really was it until the beginning of this year. He changed. He said he loves me but he doubts. Doubts whether we should be together or not. It hurt me so much - that there are no tenderness or interest left. Now we are divorced for almost 3 months. I was the one who initiated it but i hoped that he will change his mind and will come back to me. He still says he doubts. We are not seeing each other, only communicating via e mail. Even theoriticaly I am free , i feel that he is not letting me go. He does nothing but also somehow keeps me in control. What should I do? If you would ask me- what do you want. I would say that I want to continue this relationship. I would like to fight for our love and future. But I don't want to do it on my own. I want to feel that he also wants it and that he loves me. The pity thing is that all previous relationships also ended in a way like this - O was the one who wanted to continue, but other person did nothing. But i admired them so much.
