I'm a Cancer (7/6/69 2.40 am, Gemini asc.) who's looking for a long-term partner. I tend to look out only for guys of compatible signs, cause I'm thinking that they're the only ones that could yield a healthy long-term relationship. In the last year I find I've been meeting a lot of Libras (clashes with my sun) and Virgos (clashes with my Gemini asc.) but I've not pursued them for the reasons stated. I've read that compatible sun sign relationships are more likely to grow together over the years whereas incompatible sun sign relationships were more likely to grow apart over the years. Am I guilty of Sun sign prejudice (smile), or just taking the astrology thing a little too seriously? Please help.

I was born in Taipei on 5th November 1973 between 1-3am. I am an engineer specialising in the research and development of programming, circuit design and etc. I have worked for two companies during the past five years. I am working for this company for one year. I feel that I am underpaid compared to the hard work I've contributed. I know some people through freelance jobs. Recently, A friend of mine plans to set up a new company and would like me to join him offering me a high salary. Your future looks bright. You have some wonderful ideas however to people like your current boss you are a little ahead of your time. You have a strong chart that indicates that you should be your own boss. Your friend that wants to start up his own business and hire you for big dollars should be considering making you a partner instead of an employee. You will eventually form your own business and probably take his clients with you if he doesn't offer you the right deal. As for your current position I feel that you will have problems with superiors, employers and authority figures for the next year. You will be in a high cycle regarding doing your own thing and starting your own business beginning next June. You should start putting things into place now. Continue to work for the company you are with or work for your friend for the time being however don't lose sight of your future expectation. Although it won't be easy going you can be successful if you push hard professionally over the course of the next four years. This is my second attempt to write you concerning this problem that seems to be overwhelming to me.I became reacquainted with someone (b/d 3/31/46 mine 9/8/47) from my hometown after 30 years. He lives an hour away and we have spent a year of his coming to visit weekends and numerous phone calls daily. We became one another's best friend as well as lovers. It seemed our progressing relationship was going well. We had a wonderful 3-day weekend, the next two days our phone calls continued just like normal. Then out of the blue he breaks it off. When he broke it off he said he didn't love me. He wanted to leave his personal items here for a while. I waited and was horribly depressed. Sent them back. He was upset and says it was his fault. He says he has been doing a lot of soul searching about why he got scared. He said it seems he never let anyone in and thinks it stems from a childhood problem. Now he says if I can give him a few more days or weeks he hopes he can resolve his issues. He continued to say we had something special.
What is going on with him? Can he resolve these issues? Will we be able to overcome these problems? How do I deal with this? He is a wonderful man but he has hurt me deeply and I care very much for him. It could be a great relationship for my part, his I don't know.
I am not able to cope with another loss in my life. I've lost too many people to death and I just don't have the strength to be hurt again.

The comparison is quite good but I do believe that there is something that your Aries man isn't telling you. It may not be something that will matter to you but it obviously does to him. Wait it out and give the guy a chance. You've got some time to spare right now.
