For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I'm a Cancer (7/6/69 2.40 am, Gemini asc.) who's looking for a long-term partner. I tend to look out only for guys of compatible signs, cause I'm thinking that they're the only ones that could yield a healthy long-term relationship. In the last year I find I've been meeting a lot of Libras (clashes with my sun) and Virgos (clashes with my Gemini asc.) but I've not pursued them for the reasons stated. I've read that compatible sun sign relationships are more likely to grow together over the years whereas incompatible sun sign relationships were more likely to grow apart over the years. Am I guilty of Sun sign prejudice (smile), or just taking the astrology thing a little too seriously? Please help.

According to the date time and place that you have submitted you are in fact born under the sign Cancer but that's where is ends You have a Taurus ascendant not Gemini, two planets in Virgo well aspected to your Venus in Taurus which makes both Virgo and Taurus a good fit and Uranus in Libra in your fifth house using equal house method and sixth using placidus which means that this sign is better to socialize or work with.
In the area of your chart that deals with partnerships you have the sign Scorpio and this makes that sign Compatible as well. Sagittarius and Gemini fall in your second and eighth house the eighth being dead-end projects and the second an offshoot of the eighth making these signs the least likely especially with the Virgo that you have in your chart. I wrote to you before and my letter was not answered. I believe that persistence will bring success. I am now very confused in the affairs relating to love as well as career. I was born in November 11, 1977. My boy friend was born in April 8, 1975. At present, we are far apart. He does not like to write or call me. Maybe it is the character of an Aries. I am worried that we would not have common languages after a period of time. I found that my life is boring. Is it because I am a Scorpio and I'm too focused on love affairs? Am I losing self-esteem? My character is quite strong, but when it comes to love, I am weak. Is it my own problem? When I think of my future, I feel lost. At work, I am not an outstanding figure, no one cares about my presence and the work is not challenging. Will my life continue to be like this? I am afraid to think of my future. Your comparison with your Aries friend is nice however it can be difficult at an emotional level. Although I like the combination Scorpio and Aries, as the Scorpio you must not show weakness, jealousy or try to confine your Aries man. As a matter of fact Aries men tend to do better when a relationship is more of a challenge. So don't be too easy or accommodating. Your chart indicates that you will be in a high cycle regarding love and romance in July, August and September of this year. You could easily meet someone through work or work related events. I have an on going struggle with what I should do about my relationship with the man in my life. He is a Leo 1937. I was born February 8, 1946 at 10:16 AM. Here is the problem. We can get along so beautifully and then I do, or say something to upset him. It appears my independence and detachment, upsets him. I try to reassure him that I love him, but I often feel he wants more of me than I can give. He wants to be first and most important in my life. Sharing me with friends is taboo to him. This makes me feel pulled between him and my other pursuits in my life. How can I get around all this? I truly love him, but there is a part of me that I can't control. I MUST have my independence. You neglected to give me specifics regarding your Leo partner however you did include his year of birth so I can assume that his natal Neptune doesn't play too much havoc with your natal chart. Being polar opposites I can definitely see the attraction. With your strong Aquarius traits you would need a certain amount of freedom to come and go as you please in order to be happy. If he can't allow you this freedom you may have to move on. You are coming into a high cycle during the second half of this year and the first half of next year that will help you where love and romance is concerned. It should allow you to meet someone who may be more in tune to the lifestyle you require and who you can relate to better regarding such matters. If you do decide to stay with your Leo friend this period can also be a favorable time to tell how you feel and that he has to allow you to see your friends and to do the things that you enjoy or you will move on and leave him behind. Unfortunately he appears to be possessive and this is something that will always stand between you if he can't come to terms with it. It is also apparent in your chart that you do attract the type of man who does want to possess you and control you. Therefore you must be very careful who you choose and how you set the standard for your relationship.
