For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I'm a Cancer (7/6/69 2.40 am, Gemini asc.) who's looking for a long-term partner. I tend to look out only for guys of compatible signs, cause I'm thinking that they're the only ones that could yield a healthy long-term relationship. In the last year I find I've been meeting a lot of Libras (clashes with my sun) and Virgos (clashes with my Gemini asc.) but I've not pursued them for the reasons stated. I've read that compatible sun sign relationships are more likely to grow together over the years whereas incompatible sun sign relationships were more likely to grow apart over the years. Am I guilty of Sun sign prejudice (smile), or just taking the astrology thing a little too seriously? Please help.

One thing that most people don't realize is that to use astrology to the degree that is required for the purposes of compatibility you must do a complete astrological comparison between yourself and the person you are interested in. According to the date time and place that you have submitted you are in fact born under the sign Cancer but that's where is ends You have a Taurus ascendant not Gemini, two planets in Virgo well aspected to your Venus in Taurus which makes both Virgo and Taurus a good fit and Uranus in Libra in your fifth house using equal house method and sixth using placidus which means that this sign is better to socialize or work with.
In the area of your chart that deals with partnerships you have the sign Scorpio and this makes that sign Compatible as well. Sagittarius and Gemini fall in your second and eighth house the eighth being dead-end projects and the second an offshoot of the eighth making these signs the least likely especially with the Virgo that you have in your chart. I am dating one guy, and I have feelings for my best friend. My best friend recently confessed his feelings for me. But my boyfriend and I have a decent relationship. Also I feel me and my boyfriend may be drifting apart just a little. I came to this conclusion because we use to just sit and talk for hours on end but now we rarely talk about anything. I need help on what I should do in this situation. Oh I also forgot to mention I have had feelings for my best friend since I met him 12 years ago, and that he is in the military and he confessed his feelings for me after he came back from overseas saying how he realized that he " has a great person who cares for him right in front of him." Thank you for your time and help! By the way my boyfriends birth data is: Nov 21, 1984 I am not sure of the time or the birthplace though. And my friends birth data is August10, 1984 I am also not sure of the birth time or place for him either. I was born September 25, 1983 at 11:25 AM.

Quite the dilemma - you actually match up astrologically to both men. Your best friend a little bit better. Your best friend falls in an area of your chart that deals with your status, position in society and choice of friends. I've always believed that the best relationships are those that start out as a friendship and build. Your current boyfriend falls in an area of your chart that deals with hidden matters, secret affairs etc so I'm sort of wondering how you managed to turn this one into a long term relationship when it was probably meant to be a short but sweet love connection.
Your chart indicates that you are going through a period of change. Especially the way you view your relationships with others. This started to hit your chart at the end of last year and has probably left you somewhat confused. A few months ago, I could not get an ex-boy fiend out of my mind. It was his 30th Birthday coming up and I just could not stop thinking about him! I took it upon myself to write a letter to him just to say hello, as we had not spoken in over 5 years since I moved back home to Australia. I didn't know where he was (he lives in the US) so I sent the letter to his parent's address, which they forwarded to him. In the letter I said not to feel obligated to write back if he didn't want to etc. I knew he was married and wanted to respect that. He was the love of my life, the one that I still compare everyone else to. He was such an important influence on who I am.Two days ago, I received an email back from him. He was amazed and very happy to hear from me. He is divorced now, living with a new girlfriend in another state. We have sent a few e-mails back and forth over the past few days and I am stunned that we still know exactly what to say to make the other laugh and connect! We were the best of friends and I was equally as devastated when we split up for losing a lover and best friend.
My point is, have we come back into communication with each other for a reason? I always thought of him as my soul mate and have often said that if we had met in our late 20's, we would have been together for life. I am now 29. I am sure I am reading too much into it. Or am I? If not, it is really nice to be in touch again. What's happening here???

It is too bad that you didn't include his date of birth. Without it I can't run a comparison in order to determine if you do belong together or not. I can tell you however that you are going through your Saturn return right now and this always makes you reevaluate your past. It can bring past partner back into your life especially if you didn't have proper closure the first time around. I suggest that you tread carefully because you also have transiting Saturn opposite your natal Neptune and this can mean that you or he are not being completely honest about your intentions, situation or feelings.
