I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I'm a Cancer (7/6/69 2.40 am, Gemini asc.) who's looking for a long-term partner. I tend to look out only for guys of compatible signs, cause I'm thinking that they're the only ones that could yield a healthy long-term relationship. In the last year I find I've been meeting a lot of Libras (clashes with my sun) and Virgos (clashes with my Gemini asc.) but I've not pursued them for the reasons stated. I've read that compatible sun sign relationships are more likely to grow together over the years whereas incompatible sun sign relationships were more likely to grow apart over the years. Am I guilty of Sun sign prejudice (smile), or just taking the astrology thing a little too seriously? Please help.

One thing that most people don't realize is that to use astrology to the degree that is required for the purposes of compatibility you must do a complete astrological comparison between yourself and the person you are interested in. This compatibility feature will give you all the pros and cons of the relationship.
According to the date time and place that you have submitted you are in fact born under the sign Cancer but that's where is ends You have a Taurus ascendant not Gemini, two planets in Virgo well aspected to your Venus in Taurus which makes both Virgo and Taurus a good fit and Uranus in Libra in your fifth house using equal house method and sixth using placidus which means that this sign is better to socialize or work with.
In the area of your chart that deals with partnerships you have the sign Scorpio and this makes that sign Compatible as well. Sagittarius and Gemini fall in your second and eighth house the eighth being dead-end projects and the second an offshoot of the eighth making these signs the least likely especially with the Virgo that you have in your chart. Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, late Capricorn and Pisces should be the better signs for you.

Please...Eugenia...how long do I have to wait to get your reply? Do I need to write in English? I'm waiting for your help.
I was born in Sept 18, 1956 (9:10 PM) and he was born in Dec 26, 1961, my ex-husband was born Dec 26, 1957. I'm not sure about his birth time. He is the most precious person in my life and I would not trade him for anyone else. He is not afraid of anything. We were happy as if we had both found the love of our life. We told each other that we could not find the another person that we could love more.
However, he changes his mind now. He is still going out with me but it's different from what we used to be. He even wants to break up with me but we both know that we love each other. My life is in total darkness now. I lost hope. I am trying to overcome this difficult feeling, but sometimes I don't want to be alive anymore. I cry almost everyday.
If I wait for him, will he come back to me? At this moment, I'm going to wait and endure this hardship. For your reference, I'm taking care of my children (1 son & 1 daughter) alone. What does he mean to me? Is he my man? If not, when will I meet Mr. Right? Or is it better to live alone?

You do match up better to your younger Capricorn then you did to your ex-husband but this relationship is still lacking some of the basic qualities that one should have in a serious partnership. There is some sorrow that is present and that falls in an area of your chart that deals with your home and family. This man may not be completely honest with you regarding how he feels about your children. Your chart indicates that you are going through many changes in your personal life and that this man is probably a stepping stone in your life. I belief that both the Capricorn's in your life have been there to teach you something. Both men have their Sun sign placed in an area of your chart that deals with dead end projects and therefore it is difficult to have a long term relationship with either one of them. You actually match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Leo Scorpio, Aquarius and Pisces. You will be in a high cycle where love is concerned during the first half of next year. During that period you may find that your younger Capricorn will want to rekindle your relationship but I must caution you not to be too quick to take him back. You are best to keep your options open and meet new men who will probably match up to you much better.

Here is my problem. My husband of 17 years (September 19,1959.) He has been visiting my ex-girlfriend, I tell him I don't like it, he's says he's doing nothing wrong that they are just friends and nothing more. This causes me pain and our marriage isn't that great these days. I was born Feb.15 1960 at 1:39pm. I'm wondering if I should stay with him or leave. We have two children and I really want to work this out and not feel so insecure. Thanks for any suggestions.

Your comparison with your husband is adequate however you are moving into a period of time that could take the relationship either way. The unfortunate thing is that your husband has broken the code of ethics that two people usually have with one another and that is sticking together on issues that concern relatives and friends. If you and your girlfriend no longer see one another there must be a good reason for that and therefore he should stand behind your decision not to see her and do the same. You did not give me her birth data so it's difficult for me to be sure that nothing is going on between the two of them however according to his chart I do believe that he has been confused and questioning his life so he could be planning to make changes in his person life within the year. This is a difficult situation for you to be in and I feel that if you care about this man and your family that you suggest counseling or at least start talking about the options available if you want this marriage to work. You are both heading toward your second half-life Saturn, him this year and you next. This is usually a time when decisions and changes are made. As I mentioned the comparison is okay but as a couple you both need to work at this relationship much harder if you really want it to survive.
