This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

I'm a Cancer (7/6/69 2.40 am, Gemini asc.) who's looking for a long-term partner. I tend to look out only for guys of compatible signs, cause I'm thinking that they're the only ones that could yield a healthy long-term relationship. In the last year I find I've been meeting a lot of Libras (clashes with my sun) and Virgos (clashes with my Gemini asc.) but I've not pursued them for the reasons stated. I've read that compatible sun sign relationships are more likely to grow together over the years whereas incompatible sun sign relationships were more likely to grow apart over the years. Am I guilty of Sun sign prejudice (smile), or just taking the astrology thing a little too seriously? Please help.

One thing that most people don't realize is that to use astrology to the degree that is required for the purposes of compatibility you must do a complete astrological comparison between yourself and the person you are interested in. According to the date time and place that you have submitted you are in fact born under the sign Cancer but that's where is ends You have a Taurus ascendant not Gemini, two planets in Virgo well aspected to your Venus in Taurus which makes both Virgo and Taurus a good fit and Uranus in Libra in your fifth house using equal house method and sixth using placidus which means that this sign is better to socialize or work with.

In the area of your chart that deals with partnerships you have the sign Scorpio and this makes that sign Compatible as well. Sagittarius and Gemini fall in your second and eighth house the eighth being dead-end projects and the second an offshoot of the eighth making these signs the least likely especially with the Virgo that you have in your chart. Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, late Capricorn and Pisces should be the better signs for you.

Article: Getting to the Root of the Problem

Dear Eugenia,

I am writing because I really need some help. I was born August 8, 1971, at 12:31 PM. Until about 5 years ago, I was just a normal person, until I started having an anxiety disorder. I have no idea why this began...at that time I was 32 years old. It has crippled my life....I can't travel more than 5 miles from my home without having a panic attack.....I never had thisbefore...in fact I traveled from Texas to Florida alone....some friends have said it is possibly related to hormones...at least this was the reason for the first attack...and now, I think, I just fear having the attacks...which cause the attacks....also at this same time five years ago, I started having dizzy spells.....but they didn't last too long and I no longer have them....I have managed to return to school and finish a teaching certificate....but it won't do much good if I can't attend the workshops which are about 30 miles from my home.....I am very distressed....on top of it all, my lover moved out and now I am financially in a bind....also....she wants to get back together....but I am unsure.....in the time while she was deciding to want to be together...I met someone else....I truly care for my new g/friend and I think we could have a good life together....but I feel guilty and like maybe I am not doing all I could have done in my previous relationship to make it work....I feel very indecisive....and have decided to take some time and not see either lady in hopes that I will have some insight as to which "path" would be my "highest path." I'm really having a hard time.....and insight that you have would be appreciated....

Your chart indicates that you have been experiencing transits that could cause anxiety since 1996. The problem being that your chart also indicates that you are difficult to diagnose as well. These to factors coupled leave you in a vulnerable position. I do believe however that your chart although experiencing some of the absolute worst transits this year, will show signs of improvement throughout the summer months with even more significant results next year. You will have to do a little research on your own regarding your anxiety. I suggest that you begin by looking for alternative methods of medicine to rectify your problem. It appears to stem from deep-set emotional setbacks that you encountered between 1991 and 1993. Think back to the events that happened in your life at that time and you should be able to start the long process of getting back to living a normal life. Regarding your love life, it?s probably not a bad idea to take time out however, I believe that you will find yourself making a decision quicker than you expect and jumping into a relationship again late June early July. Concerning who your partner might be. You did not submit either candidates birth data so I suggest that you run a comparison with both using the astroadvice.com compatibility feature.

Hi Eugenia

I met a very special person (February 4, 1969) 4 years ago after having met her at work. Once we talked, we realized we had a lot in common between us and it was amazing how closely the pattern of each of our lives seemed so much alike from our childhood to the present. We knew from the beginning that we could be very good for each other and therefore, we became very close friends almost instantly as though we had known each other all of our lives. I discovered that I could open up to her, like no other person in my life, and tell some of my most intimate feelings and hidden fears that I had carried inside all of my life as she did with me. Ironically, I have always seemed to have the problem of letting myself get too close to people even though I have many friends, they are not intimate friends. As we became closer throughout the 4 years, I have felt myself becoming very scared of getting too close, being hurt and even left behind, without reason, so I in turn distanced myself from her more and more without an explanation. She became less interested in our friendship and it began to unravel for both of us due to the stress of it all. Since December of last year, we have not spoken at all and it has really been a very devastating experience for me. It has changed me as a person in so many ways. I wish very much that I could rekindle our friendship that I miss dearly, but I don't know what would be the right words to say or if we would be better to put this behind and both move on with our lives apart. I was born December 15, 1958 at 8:30 am. Thank you for guidance.

I believe that friendship is the operative word here. The comparison showed nothing more than that. It also revealed that there certainly is some mistrust, disillusionment or possible deception as well. Now that could have to do with the fact that you didn't even give her an explanation when you backed away. I fell that you have two choices and they are to move on and prepare to meet someone else who matches up to you much better physically and mentally or phone her up, be honest about your feelings and ask to resume the friendship. When I say friendship I mean just that. I believe that anything more would lead to trouble. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. If she isn't interested at least you'll know and can move on. You tend to match up to those born under the signs Aries, Cancer, Libra and Aquarius (she is not a very strong Aquarius). It is apparent that you do much better with people who are much older or much younger than yourself. You will be in a high cycle regarding love next year so don't waste too much of your time trying to turn what you have with your Aquarian friend into anything more than a friendship at this point.
