I'm a Cancer (7/6/69 2.40 am, Gemini asc.) who's looking for a long-term partner. I tend to look out only for guys of compatible signs, cause I'm thinking that they're the only ones that could yield a healthy long-term relationship. In the last year I find I've been meeting a lot of Libras (clashes with my sun) and Virgos (clashes with my Gemini asc.) but I've not pursued them for the reasons stated. I've read that compatible sun sign relationships are more likely to grow together over the years whereas incompatible sun sign relationships were more likely to grow apart over the years. Am I guilty of Sun sign prejudice (smile), or just taking the astrology thing a little too seriously? Please help.

In the area of your chart that deals with partnerships you have the sign Scorpio and this makes that sign Compatible as well. Your site is pretty interesting, so I often visit it. This is the first time I have written to you.

My boyfriend and I have been going out for 10 yrs. We planned to get married this year but suddenly, he suggested we both study abroad for one year and get married afterward. Even though we are still lovers, I am worrying about our future. My boyfriend was born on July 18, 1974 at 6 am and I was born March 20, 1974, at 2 AM.

Our parents do not support our decision. We will be spending our own money that we have saved for years. Also, after we come back, our jobs are not guaranteed. I don't know whether it is necessary to go abroad for our future. Can you also tell me what kinds of jobs suit me and do I have luck financially? I'm sorry to ask you so many questions at one time... I don't believe either one of you will do well regarding successful studies abroad. Your chart indicates that you should be considering getting on with your career. You are in a high cycle in that regard and I would hate you to miss a good professional opportunity. As for your boyfriend the comparison was good however I believe that if he goes abroad he will regret his choice. I understand his urgency to get away as he does have a need to do something different. Perhaps the money would be better spent on a trip that would be educational. Traveling to a different part of the world and experiencing foreign cultures and traditions would be an education and something that you can share together. You wouldn't have to go away for too long and you could return to your jobs or to new positions that could very well be better then the ones you had before your trip.

I am in my early forties, 2 children, married for 19years. For some reason I am in a very reflective state. I reflect on my past and become very depressed, I never had any career success, although I worked very hard, never made much money, however I continued my education, but I never got a "break" I was always past over, finally in my early thirties I became ill with MS and had to go on long term disability. So that was the final blow. I have come to terms with my situation and have gotten involved with the local MS Society as a Board member. I still yearn for some little professional success. Why can't I let go of the past and just relax and enjoy my children, and happy marriage? Will these feelings lift? I was born October 12, 1959, at 10:42 am.

What you are doing right now with the MS Society is important and I feel certain that someone you recently met through this organization will help you find your way where your profession is concerned. It is never too late and you are never incapable of achieving as long as you have the desire. You have just experienced your second half-life Saturn and this is why you have been so reflective. It is a period in your life that makes you reevaluate what you've done up to this point in your life and in turn it should help you realize whatever changes are necessary in order to make your life better. Your chart indicates that you have the spunk and desire to achieve and I believe that there is something very significant that you need to do.
