We've all experienced times of conflict and personal struggle.  Times when the assistance and advice of a friend always seemed to lend comfort and ease the burden. Have you ever wondered what it would be like if that friend was one of the world's most revered astrologers, with over 25 years of experience?

This service is no longer available.

I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.

For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Article: From MF

Dear Eugenia,

I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

MF

Dear MF

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. It's time to prepare for change and don't be afraid to partner up with someone in all aspects of your life. You may discover that joining forces with someone regarding your business may be a prosperous journey as well. You match up well to those born under the signs Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Pisces but always get a complete astrological comparison done to be sure. Article: An Apparent Limitation

Dear Eugenia:

I am a Taurus (May 6, 1971: 1:36pm), and I fell in love with a Capricorn (January 14, 1971 - don't know his birth time). He is perfect for me in every way, and is everything I have ever asked for in a man. However, we had to break up because of a very important obligation that he has in his life; he told me this because he doesn't want to complicate my life, and I realized that, due to his unique situation, we don't have a future together, even though we are both in love with each other and continue to see each other. My question is this: I have a feeling that he's trying to get out of his obligation (of which he's wanted out way before he met me) because he wants to be with me so badly. I don't know if I can love anyone like I love him, so I'm having a very hard time. Do I wait a little longer, or do I continue "playing the field," hoping to find a love that will rival or even surpass the one I have with Mr. Capricorn? Hopefully, you will have some positive words to guide my heart and soul, because, right now, I'm not sure as to what I should do.

Thank you -
Emotionally Ravaged

Dear Emotionally Ravaged

The comparison isn't bad but there is an element of emotional deception, limitation and restriction that's apparent. I believe that under normal circumstances this relationship could work but that is not the case so move on. You need to get out and have fun. Join clubs or organizations that you have an interest in and you will meet like-minded people. You are coming into a high cycle where love is concerned so don't miss out because you are waiting for your Capricorn to get his act together. The fact that you move on may push him to deal with the pending problems that face him. You match up well to those born under the signs Leo and Aquarius.

Article: Moving On

Dear Eugenia,

I expect you won't be able to answer this letter, but the worst that can happen is silence. I was born September 20, 1973 @ 5:15 p.m. Three years ago, I lost my grandmother and then a year later, I lost my Mom. I started University, two months after my Mother passed away and I am afraid that my scholastic career has thus far been less than spectacular. Although, the long depression that I suffered through has dissipated somewhat I now realize that I may have dug a hole for myself so bad I will never be able to save myself from it. I am still somewhat confused about how I should proceed. Should I try to finish school now, while I am here or wander in the real world for a couple of years so I won't waste any more time?

I haven't had a serious relationship in quite some time. The thought of putting myself forward has been rather frightening. Is it a bad idea to even think about finding Mr. Right now?

I really don't know which is worse the depression or the confusion. Either way I feel so buried, I don't know which way is up or down.

Ready to Hide Under My Bed

Dear Ready to Hide Under My Bed

You are coming into a much higher cycle and it is important that you prepare to continue your education in some capacity. That could mean doing an apprenticeship, or going back full time. Where love and romance are concerned your chart picks up during the second half of next year and if you are involved in social groups or organizations you should meet someone you are attracted to. You should also be considering investing whatever money you have during the first half of next year. It will also be a favorable time to make residential changes or moves as well. Things are picking up for you and for now you shouldn't be too hard on yourself. You've been through a lot over the past three years and you need time to heal. If you want to work and take a little time off school due so now with the intent of going back during the second half of next year. You can also put your efforts into work and study part time for now. Next summer you should consider taking a trip. It will turn out to be a valuable experience as well as introduce you to some interesting people, places and things. You are coming into a growth period and you will begin to expand your circle of friends as well as your horizons. The most important thing to remember for the time being is to be open and receptive to.
