I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. It's time to prepare for change and don't be afraid to partner up with someone in all aspects of your life. You may discover that joining forces with someone regarding your business may be a prosperous journey as well. I never believed in love at first sight before....nor the "fireworks" during a first kiss...and I always thought it ridiculous when I heard people say they just couldn't live without "so-and-so". But, I have experienced these undeniable feelings in the past year. A much older gentleman has, quite literally, STOLEN MY HEART. I have never been so incapable of walking away from someone in my entire life. I never want to do without him...he's all I want...and all I need.
In the beginning he fell in love with me first (and told me so) and, I soon followed. I am 37 and he is 58. But, I don't think either of us even notices the age difference, because we "connect" so naturally. Some of the problems we've had are: 1.) He's a Christian and I'm an atheist. 2.)He has a problem trusting women...he has unrealistic expectations concerning honesty (he believes all women are liars). 3.) He's sometimes manipulative (which I find challenging). 4.) He refuses to give me any kind of a commitment. 5.) A friend of mine that has studied astrology for 35 years warned me of his dangerous temper, and great need to control...this advice from her has caused my imagination to work over-time and has caused some real problems between he and I...I've had trouble trusting him...and that bothers him...and me. We've broken up a couple of times, and then always find our way back to each other. This astrologer friend of mine is my ex-boyfriend's mother, and I have always suspected she is "saving" me for her son when the "time" is right for us to get together again. But, I have no proof.
My birth info: 2-5-64, 7:37pm, His birth info: 2-7-43, 6:05pm, The older gentleman and I met for the first time somewhere between April 3 and April 13, 2000 (last year). He was a potential customer of mine. I was calling on his business (we were instantly inseparable...all we wanted to do was talk to one another....we still do). My question is: Can you go back and see during those dates if either of us were suppose to meet our "soul mates"?
I need to know this. I am raising two teenagers on my own and don't want to waste my time with a man that is just using me. I'd like to know if he really loves me, if I can trust him, and if we have a future together or not. I do not believe that the astrologer giving you the information is too far off the mark. Your comparison with this man was not all that great. I believe that there is some deception involved in your connection. You have recently been going through a rough period regarding relationships and this could be the reason for the problems that you are experiencing with him however I do believe that there is more to it. He is controlling at an emotional level and I do not believe that you are one to be controlled with your strong Aquarius personality however with your Venus in Pisces and the type of transits that you are experiencing I believe that you are in what I call a messiah mood meaning that in some way part of the attraction is feeling vulnerable and out of control. I do believe that you will continue on with him until you can't take it any more I believe that you will be in a high cycle for love or past lovers coming back into your life next year and I hope that you have the wherewithal to walk away from this connection by that time so that you might actually hook up with someone who could be considered your soul mate.

How's this for a love triangle with an international flavor as we were all born in different countries, with two Cancers potentially battling it out? I'm a Cancer born July 9, 1963 at 11:30 am, married for many years to a Gemini man (b. 6/10/1955) who I fear might be seriously interested in another Cancer (someone in our social circle). I understand from mutual friends that he does flirt with this woman when I'm not around and that she is equally interested in him. I learned from one close friend in particular that the only thing stopping her at least is the fact that he is married. I'm hoping that this woman does respect my marriage, but I fear that I may be losing my Gemini man to a possible midlife crisis. It took some doing but I found out that her birthday is 7/5/1959. I hope this is enough information for you to chart us and give me some guidance. Please Eugenia, is my marriage about to come unglued?

Your comparison with your husband is better than his comparison with the other Cancer in question. However he has been going through emotional confusion the past couple of years and this has probably contributed to his obvious midlife crisis. Generally your husband is a good guy and even though he is a Gemini and they can tend to wander as well as marry more than once in a life time I have to say with his natal Venus in the sign Taurus it does give him some stability. Your chart indicates that you may be overreacting to this whole situation and that could in fact push him away. There is also evidence that by the fall of this year you will be in a high cycle regarding love and winning back the heart of your husband should you actually have lost it to another. Your Cancer friend is not trustworthy when it comes to respecting your marriage. She may be born under the sign Cancer but unlike you she is predominantly a Leo with her natal Mercury, Venus, Mars and Uranus in that sign and her Moon positioned in Gemini therefore the challenge of the chase is probably what she is enjoying.
