This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Dear Eugenia,

I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. It's time to prepare for change and don't be afraid to partner up with someone in all aspects of your life. You may discover that joining forces with someone regarding your business may be a prosperous journey as well. Hi! Eugenia

I've been divorced for 2 years now. I've had two failed relationships since. Both were Scorpios. I'm a Sagittarius female born December 17, 1970, at 8:30 PM.. My ex is a Libra. I believe my best match to be with either Leo (my moon sign and the sign in my 7th house). or Aquarius (my rising sign). However, I never seem to be able to attract Leos or Aquarians. I seem to get a lot of Libras, Scorpios, and Capricorns. What's up with that? I really would like to find my soul mate which I believe is either a Leo or Aquarius. I am hoping that I am not meant to be alone the rest of mylife. I'm only 31 with 2 children. I guess what I really want to know is if there is a true lasting love in my future? Will I ever marry again?

It's not that simple. Yes you do have your Moon in Leo and that sign on your seventh house cusp and Aquarius rising which in most cases would mean that these signs are good for you and will be attracted to you especially being born under the sign Sagittarius however in your case you have Your Venus, Mars and Jupiter in the sign Scorpio at an adverse angle to your Leo and Moon and your rising sign. This is the reason you can't attract either sign and if you did it probably wouldn't work. Libra doesn't work because that is the sign that falls in your eighth house of dead end projects. All that said you do match up well to those born under the signs Aries, Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn. The possibility that love will open up for you is in the picture now however if you don't get out you may miss a great opportunity. Consider joining a reputable dating service or join groups that interest you for best results. If you sit at home it won't happen.

Article: Family Problem

Dear Eugenia,

I am writing to you about a family problem. My sister and I are the primary caretakers of our mother. My mother is disabled and has a variety of health problems. Her birthday is 8/30/1941 @ 4:30 p.m.

My problem is that ever since I was a young child we have had severe disagreements, fighting, etc. My birthday is 8/5/1975 @ 11:30 p.m. I try to be patient and understanding but our bad feelings have just grown worse with time. The pain and hurt is just getting to be too much. Please give me some advice on how I can deal with her more effectively and what I should keep in mind to have any kind of good relationship at all.

Dear Leo

Although there is a small problem that shows up in your comparison that deals with honest communication regarding the way you both feel the overall picture doesn't appear to be that horrid. Yes you can argue and yes you are very different from one another but that doesn't mean that you can't get along. Your mother needs a bit of a wakeup call. She is a very strong Virgo and I believe that she can be a perfectionist. If that is the case nothing you ever do will be good enough or right. You must sit her down and tell her that you cannot live with or under those conditions. That you are trying to help her and if she won't allow you the decency to carry on as you please that you and your sister will have to find someone else to take care of her. Your mother is going through a very debilitating period over the course of the next two years and I believe that she is severely depressed. She recently experienced her second Saturn return and I believe that she has reevaluated her life and has decided that she isn't too happy with the way it unfolded. The fact that she is lashing out at you because of her own regrets is a shame but she is your mother and what she needs is honesty, love and to be put in her place.
