I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. It's time to prepare for change and don't be afraid to partner up with someone in all aspects of your life. You may discover that joining forces with someone regarding your business may be a prosperous journey as well. I have dated. I have been engaged a few times but never married (I think I always took marriage too seriously -- and never could promise to do all that marriage entails). I had a loving relationship with a man who had a terminal illness, who died in '95. I have always kept the door open in my heart that I might find a life-long partner, but now I wonder: should I shut the door on this option? I'm not afraid of being alone. I am afraid of nurturing false hope in myself. I was born January 6, 1953, at 5:45 am.

You should never close the door on love, romance, marriage, partnership etc. One of the reasons why you have gone the route but never crossed the line when it came to marriage is due to having your natal Uranus in an area of your chart that deals with relationships opposite your Sun in an area of your chart that deals with your personal outlook. This has probably caused you or your partners throughout life to back away or have a change of heart at the last minute. With transiting Saturn moving into that area of your chart there has never been a better time to find love and get serious then now. Also with your Moon in the sign Virgo it isn't unusual for you to find love or get into a serious relationship during the second half of life. In your case you are moving into a high cycle regarding love right now and you should be out meeting new people. This particular transit can also bring someone from your past back into your life so perhaps if there is someone you still think about you should readdress this relationship. In the past the timing was probably wrong with this person. This is a great year for you creatively, educationally and where growth is concerned. You should be expanding your circle of friends, getting involved in discussions or courses that will alter your philosophy, attitude, lifestyle and outlook. You are going through changes and that is part of the reason you are feeling somewhat concerned or restless about finding love or backing away from it completely. You match up well to those born under the signs Aries, Gemini, early Cancer, Virgo, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Pisces.

First of all id like to say congratulations on your readings. In the past 7 years I've printed out and received countless self-analysis and birth charts. A lot have been good but didn't really fit my way of thinking and seeing astrology, I'm an Aries and so a lot of astrologers or society in general just see us as dynamic fast talkers, sex bombs, baby screaming his lungs out not stopping until he gets fed and there might be some truths to that, but it kind of lacks depth. I find what you've done is mix my ascendant Sagittarius, with my moon Libra both mercury and Venus in Pisces & mars in Aries into a great overall picture, I even think you've added Chinese astrology yr of the sheep into it, it would be great to get some advice on more writings and web pages that have similar thoughts and ways of descriptions, cause as you pointed out in your analysis file of me, one of my biggest traits is the continuing search for knowledge & and id love to get your birth details, to see a profile on you. Thanks, I am so glad that you have enjoyed my websites. Many people have asked for my particulars so I might as well list them for you. Asc. 1:45 Capricorn, Sun 5 Aries in the 4th, Moon 28 Aquarius in the 2nd, Mercury 19 Pisces in the 3rd, Venus 28 Pisces in the 3rd, Mars 3 Aries in the 4th, Jupiter 27 Capricorn in the 1st, Saturn 0 Virgo in the 8th, Uranus 26 Gemini in the 6th, Neptune 14 Libra in the 10th, Pluto 14 Leo in the 8th. As you can see there are similarities between your chart and mine. My daughter was born on April 11th and we have grown to become best friends over the years. There is nothing wrong with Aries or any other sign for that matter. Each sign contributes to society and if we were to miss one of them the world would definitely be lacking so for those who say they don't like this sign or that they should learn to appreciate what each sign brings to the table. As a rule we do not get along as well with whatever sign falls on our 8th house because of a lack of interests as well as the fact that these relationships do not usually lead anywhere.
