This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Dear Eugenia,

I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. It's time to prepare for change and don't be afraid to partner up with someone in all aspects of your life. You may discover that joining forces with someone regarding your business may be a prosperous journey as well. Hi Eugenia

I was born on the first day of Libra ? September 23, 1968 at 2:25 pm. I feel I have many characteristics of Libra, but I also feel that I have many characteristics of Virgo. Is it possible to know how much of each sign is predominant? My boyfriend, on his turn, was born on the last day of Virgo, September 22. Is it a good match as far as the stars are concerned? He seems to have commitment problems, what I do not see as typical of Virgo.

Without your boyfriends year of birth it is hard to say whether he is more Virgo or Libra. Also without having his accurate birth time he could be a Virgo or a Libra by Sun sign as well. The dates used in the newspaper are standard but certainly not exact. Some years the Sun will pass into the next constellation one day earlier or later which is something that most people don?t realize. In your case you were born at 0 degrees 44 minutes into the sign Libra and you also have the Moon, Venus and Mercury in that sign. On the other hand you have Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in the sign Virgo so yes you are right to feel very split between the two signs. With your Saturn in Aries, your Neptune in Scorpio and Aquarius rising the predominant influence will definitely be Libra followed by Virgo with Aquarius, Aries and Scorpio trailing behind. If your boyfriend has his planets situated primarily in Virgo and Leo you will match up better than if he has them situated in Virgo and Libra. Even as it stands with him being born on the 22nd of September his natal Sun will fall in your eighth house and that is not usually the best placement for a long term relationship unless the comparison is extremely high. Dear Eugenia,

I have written before & I know you are a busy lady, but here goes - I'll try again. I have come to almost a complete stop in my life whereby I don't know what I should do. I have been successful in the past in regards to my career but now I can't get my mojo working again. Also, my partner's birthday is Jan. 18th, 1961 at midnight. I feel love but also feel that other things are going on - is this just a symptom of a change in life or are the charts not compatible? Can you guide me with this? p.s. will be having an operation in November - any tips? I was born October 13, 1954 at 7:30 am.

Hi Libra

November looks relatively clear regarding any surgery that you are undergoing however over the course of the next couple of years there does appear to be more involvement with institutions such as hospitals so stay on top of your health. Regarding the relationship, the comparison was more of a love/hate connection. Physically it appears to be quite good and certainly there is chemistry but mentally and emotionally I feel that it is lacking understanding and a common denominator that should be in place. Your partner is going through emotional confusion as well as emotional deception and this could be causing some problems. With regard to your chart relationship uncertainty has been present for some time now making it difficult for you to see where it's headed. I think that you both have a real draw to one another but I'm not sure that it is a healthy relationship and that it may be time to check out your options. Sometimes when your mojo stops working it's because you need to make changes and if you are reluctant to do so you can expect things to stagnate. This month you are in a high cycle regarding career moves etc. so concentrate on that first and make changes to your lifestyle in September/October.
