I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Dear Eugenia,
I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. It's time to prepare for change and don't be afraid to partner up with someone in all aspects of your life. You may discover that joining forces with someone regarding your business may be a prosperous journey as well. I would like to know what's in store for my son. He is in a band and has been writing music for many years. He is the lead singer and guitarist. I thought I recognized you there the night he was playing at Raxx, on April 24th. He was born Sept.8/82 at 6:56 pm. in Brampton Ont. He is very dedicated to his music but he just isn?t getting any breaks! If I could get a chart done for me my husband and boys that would be great! Please let me know how it could be done. You did see me at Raxx that April evening. We actually were there to watch your son perform. Your son?s chart does indicate that he has some talent and although he has chosen a very competitive and difficult professional direction I believe that everyone must follow there life dream especially at his age. He definitely should be working in a creative vocation and music is not a bad choice. It is important however that he is also supporting his addiction to his art so hopefully he is working as well. I usually try to get people to at least work in some capacity in the industry of choice. In his case he should be working at a music store or trying to get a position at a record company, or representing a line of musical products for one of the major companies or perhaps working for Socan, or teaching music etc. I believe that serves two purposes. One it helps to pay his bills and two it keeps him working within the industry allowing him to make contacts that will help him get ahead. Unfortunately in the industry that he has chosen it is who you know as well as how much talent you have. I think your son has a great voice and that he has to make some choices with regard to how he wants to present himself. He has been going through many changes the past year and if not working he should be considering going to college to learn more about the recording industry and technical end of the business. This will also benefit him along the way. He will be going through some transits in a couple of years that can result in recognition for his talent. How much recognition and how big the reward will be directly linked to what he does now to prepare. This may require him to change some of his associations along with aligning himself with some other people in the industry. He should be looking at career moves, education and networking with whomever he can that has a foothold in the industry. I believe that if he does so he will experience some success beginning in late 2006. Regarding your second question ? Dear Eugenia,
I am suffering from a relationship and I feel the pain deep in my heart. I beg you, help me and give me advice.I was born on March 7, 1961 -A Pisces. He was born in November 21, 1952, a Scorpio.
We have known each other for one year. I moved to his apartment two months ago. He is divorced and has two children. He quit his job four years ago after the divorce. He is conservative and closed. I always take the initiative to talk to him and comfort him. Until recently, I could not tolerate it any more. I am an energetic, fun loving and an open person. His unpredictable nature almost drives me crazy. He lacks security when it comes to women. He doesn't want me to participate in general business events and sometimes shouts at me because I want to attend these activities.
I think that he should go out and get a job because a job will help him to live a more balanced life both mentally and physically. This is also a way to get him out of his present situation. We love each other but are also hurting each other. I would like to know, is he to be my life-long partner? Will I meet someone who is more suitable to me? I am not young and do not want to search for partner here and there! I am very tired!

I believe that our Scorpio partner is quite controlling and that he is also going through a very uncertain period in his life. It appears that he is afraid of losing you and therefore he is not willing to let you take part in the events that you would like to enjoy. He does match up to you both mentally and physically however emotionally I have to question how good this relationship is for you. The major sign of sorrow is present and I believe that the problem does stem from the fact that he is not working or contributing as much as he should to the financial aspect of your relationship. If you can convince him to go back to work it may help however I believe that he may have other problems to overcome first. He is emotionally unstable and this makes it difficult for him to feel confident enough to move forward with his professional life. Your chart indicates that you should be getting out and doing things that you enjoy and if he doesn't want to join you or let you go that you may have to walk away. You are moving into a high cycle where love and romance is concerned and if you stay where you are you may miss the opportunities that are available to you.
