This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Dear Eugenia,

I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. It's time to prepare for change and don't be afraid to partner up with someone in all aspects of your life. You may discover that joining forces with someone regarding your business may be a prosperous journey as well. Pleeeaaassse help me!

I just moved into a new place with my boyfriend but I'm not sure he's the one. Some days I convince myself that everything is okay then other days I wonder if I can handle all the issues he has with his ex wife, children and him not wanting anymore kids. (his b-day is: Jan 11/62 at 3am and mine August 26, 1964, at 6 am). We have been arguing so much more ever since we moved in and I'm ready to walk. Should I stay and give it a chance or is it best to leave now?

You and your partner match up very well astrologically. It's times like these that you discover how strong your character is as well as his. His chart indicates that he has difficult transits regarding divorce settlement, legal matters, financial agreements and so forth but this will continue to haunt him for the next two years and like it or not he does have to be responsible to his first family regardless of how his ex is responding. All that being said he should probably try to put a stop to any harassment that he may be subject to by coming to a suitable arrangement that both he his ex and his children stick to. Once that is done things at least have a chance to settle down. Your chart indicates that you are moving into a period of uncertainty and you must try to curb any desire to overreact or to make changes suddenly that you might regret later on. Regarding having children of your own you will be feeling the urge especially over the course of the next year and I do believe that the chance of getting pregnant is likely however it may not be the best thing to do when your relationship is going through so much turmoil. I have seen many comparisons that are good where the end result was separation. Right now your timing is bad and it likely that you will get fed up. You are both going through a fair amount of stress over the course of the next 18 months. To add to that if you should get pregnant, fly off the handle or get upset about things that are out of your control will not help matters. This is a relationship worth nurturing but with the transits you both are experiencing I have my doubts that you will make it. Should you decide to walk, and you probably will, I believe that you will meet someone new before year-end. You match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces. Dear Eugenia,

How's this for a love triangle with an international flavor as we were all born in different countries, with two Cancers potentially battling it out? I'm a Cancer born July 9, 1963 at 11:30 am, married for many years to a Gemini man (b. 6/10/1955) who I fear might be seriously interested in another Cancer (someone in our social circle). I understand from mutual friends that he does flirt with this woman when I'm not around and that she is equally interested in him. I learned from one close friend in particular that the only thing stopping her at least is the fact that he is married. I'm hoping that this woman does respect my marriage, but I fear that I may be losing my Gemini man to a possible midlife crisis. It took some doing but I found out that her birthday is 7/5/1959. Your comparison with your husband is better than his comparison with the other Cancer in question. However he has been going through emotional confusion the past couple of years and this has probably contributed to his obvious midlife crisis. Generally your husband is a good guy and even though he is a Gemini and they can tend to wander as well as marry more than once in a life time I have to say with his natal Venus in the sign Taurus it does give him some stability. Your chart indicates that you may be overreacting to this whole situation and that could in fact push him away. There is also evidence that by the fall of this year you will be in a high cycle regarding love and winning back the heart of your husband should you actually have lost it to another. Your Cancer friend is not trustworthy when it comes to respecting your marriage. She may be born under the sign Cancer but unlike you she is predominantly a Leo with her natal Mercury, Venus, Mars and Uranus in that sign and her Moon positioned in Gemini therefore the challenge of the chase is probably what she is enjoying.
