For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. It's time to prepare for change and don't be afraid to partner up with someone in all aspects of your life. You may discover that joining forces with someone regarding your business may be a prosperous journey as well. I NEED ADVICE! I haven't done well in the past two years of college. I now have an opportunity to go to England! I am a musician and think I might find more opportunities there. So, quit college and go to England (staying with a friend, place to practice) or stay where I am? Also, this means leaving my girlfriend. She's afraid that a long distance relationship won't work. I say we can visit on vacations and she can come over after her graduation next spring. Could this relationship last? My birth date is May 17, 1981 - late morning/early afternoon. I can understand your need to follow your dream and I believe it is important to do so while you have the chance. You are in a much higher cycle where both travel and educational pursuits are concerned over the course of the next year however I believe that the people you will meet while living in England will be an education in itself. Regarding your girlfriend I believe that there will be some emotional deception that will unfold between the two of you due to the distance. She can be a flirt however you can be as well. Neither one of you can resist the chance to interact with someone who stimulates you mentally. I believe that you should give one another space while you are away. If you are meant to be together the sparks will fly when you see one another again. If you are going to be serious about your commitment to music and this big move you must do it one hundred percent. Let go of your past and leap into the future. Please be sure to have all your papers in order. Problems with authority figures or governmental issues could hold you back. You are in a high cycle regarding creativity therefore you must explore your musical talent, direction and future putting all efforts into making connections that will give your career the jump start that it requires.

I am a (almost) 16 year old girl sag born December 14, 1984, at 12:23 AM. Both my moon and my ascendant are in Virgo, I have heard that Virgo's are pretty down to earth and grounded individuals. I am NOT either of those. On the contrary, I spend most of my time day dreaming and thinking about the future instead of the present. I am more interested in thinking up future projects than doing present ones.
I am also constantly in a dream world. I like to spend my time in my head, thinking about places that don't exist. This type of thinking has put more pressure on me to do well in school and I am falling behind. Could you tell me what part of my natal chart and any transits that are causing this behavior, and how to combat it. It's really getting in the way of my studies and I would like to try and stay in the real world.

Your ascendant is very late Virgo therefore you have a far stronger Libra influence in your first house. As for your Virgo Moon it is hidden in your 12th house making it less obvious. The fact that you do have your Moon in Virgo however coupled with your Sun, Mercury and Uranus in another mutable sign (Sagittarius) is contributing to your daydreaming right now because transiting Jupiter is moving through Gemini. Now this doesn't have to be a bad thing. It does mean that you want to learn and discover and expand your horizons however if what they are trying to teach you doesn't interest you it can cause you to wonder off mentally to things that capture your imagination. This transit and your planets in Sagittarius run across the 3rd and 9th houses in your chart which represent lower and higher education therefore the problem is affecting your schoolwork. This transit will pass but not until May/June of next year so buckle down and force yourself to work a little harder. If need be get extra help, talk to your teachers, or do whatever you can to get through this hard to focus period. You are also moving through a period that is favorable for socializing but don't be lead astray by friends. With transiting Neptune sitting on your Venus in your 5th house you could easily end up in a sorrowful situation. The best outlet for you during this period is one that is creative.
