I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. It's time to prepare for change and don't be afraid to partner up with someone in all aspects of your life. You may discover that joining forces with someone regarding your business may be a prosperous journey as well. You answered me (March 6,1982, 1:18 PM) last in 2005 - and you told me that the new Virgo in my life (Aug 30 1971, 15:25) might prove to be something special, and you were right! On New Year's Eve he has asked me to marry him. I live in Spain, he lives in Sweden - and I am planning to move to Sweden by the end of 2007, and trying to get a form of scholarship and do my masters in English. I graduated in English literature in 2005 and am doing a masters in Spanish now. I still have so many past issues and insecurities I have to deal with and am seeing a therapist because I am afraid my insecurities will harm this relationship, which I really feel blessed with! I read in the yearly horoscopes that came out that the eclipses would mean relationship endings, as well as Saturn staying for 2 years, as well as Saturn entering Virgo - I feel scared. I am always scared and mistrustful. I am about to embark on something new - finally someone stable, loving and trustworthy has come into my life and I love him so much! - And yet I am so full with fears! Saturn can also be a stabilizing factor in your life. In his case transiting Saturn has been moving through an area of his char that deals with relationships/partnerships and this can either cement a relationship together or blow it apart. I will be getting married by the end of August. But somehow I am still in love with another man. He's never been nice to me and has another girlfriend. But he likes to manipulate my mind. He is Swiss-French and 12 years older than me. He told me that he still loves me and no matter what our circumstances are, our strong feeling towards each other will never change. I tried to run away from him to get a moment of peace in my life with my fianc?e. However, every time he e-mails me or contacts me, my heart and mind will not be able to function well. I told him that I loved him too. Then, he pushed me away. It happens many times. It's so unbearable. How should I handle it?

You match up so much better to your fianc?e that I can't imagine that you would want to entertain the thought of spending time with your older gentleman. I believe that you feel the way you do because you want what you don't think you can have. Please do yourself and your fianc?e a favor and move forward with your wedding plans and don't look back. The further away you can get from your Virgo friend the better. I fear with the transits that you are experiencing that you will do something foolish with this man and I can't stress enough that you must not. A lot of his natal planets fall in an area of your chart that deal with either dead end projects or secret affairs. This does not make for a very healthy relationship.
