I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. It's time to prepare for change and don't be afraid to partner up with someone in all aspects of your life. You may discover that joining forces with someone regarding your business may be a prosperous journey as well. I've written you numerous times in the past and didn't get a response. I hope you'd be able to help me this time. I did romantic compatibility charts between myself and a guy named "B" (under my log-in name and under his), so that I can see the difference between how we perceive each other.
In his chart, in the "Secrets/Illnesses" section, it says, "Be careful; this could be your undoing. Secret affairs, confusion, and love triangles could lead to a broken heart." The percentage was 50% relevance.
The interpretation wasn't too clear and I'd like some clarity. Who's broken heart? Mine or his? Who will be in the secret affairs and love triangles? Me or him?
This part of the romance compatibility has brought me much unhappiness. Some of it is true, which is why I am unhappy. I'd like to hear your response and receive some clarification on this prediction. The interpretation in the astroadvice romantic compatibility wasn't too clear.

You are overreacting. The 50% relevance is not very high. The reason for it is that you have a planet in your twelfth house and several of his planets fall in your twelfth house as well. This is an area that deals with secrets, hidden matters, illness etc. Your twelfth house however is very well aspected therefore it is remote that these occurrences will take place in a negative fashion. Any problems that you might have experienced over the past year would have been due to transiting Jupiter adversely hitting that area of your chart. Not only would this cause some little problems in these areas but also it would have caused confusion, overreacting and misunderstandings. Your comparison is in my estimation quite good. If you take things slowly and let your relationship continue to grow things should be just fine however if you decide to become jealous and overreact your relationship will probably deteriorate.

I have visited your website over the past year and am impressed with both the sensitivity and practicality of your responses. I have something of a dilemma--I know what I want to do but would appreciate your viewpoint on the matter. I am divorced with no children (date of birth 7/30/47, 12:10 a.m.). I want a family very much and have been to a doctor, a specialist, undergone many tests, and have been told that with the doctor's help, if I wish, I can have a baby. I look young for my age, probably 15 or more years younger. I am healthy and want to do this. Some friends have been very encouraging, still others have said that it's a crazy idea at my age. A couple have even said that no man will be interested in me if I have a baby. I tend to think that I wouldn't be interested in a man with such an attitude. I am veryindependent. What do you think? If I do this, it would be in June.
