For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. It's time to prepare for change and don't be afraid to partner up with someone in all aspects of your life. You may discover that joining forces with someone regarding your business may be a prosperous journey as well. I have a question regarding a love interest. I am in an abusive relationship with my alcoholic husband and I am trying to get my life in order to leave him. In the meantime I met someone else that I have deep feeling for. I have been seeing him for over 3 months now but I have known him for 30 years. I just wonder if you can see what lies in my future. I am so confused as what to do. I know I need to get away from the abusive relationship and work on my self-esteem. My birthday is 12/23/59 at 2:30pm; my love interest birthday is 1/11/58. I do not know birth time. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, as I am very confused right now.

In most cases I would strongly suggest that you get out on your own for a while until you really know what you want and you have a chance to work on your own problems. However, in your case I have a feeling that you will make the adjustment quickly. The comparison with your Capricorn friend is so good that I don't believe that you should hesitate to have him in your life. He has plenty to offer you and he will help to rebuild your confidence. There is a tiny element of sorrow that does appear in this comparison however it falls in an area of your chart that isn't to negative unless perhaps you work with one another. Should this be the case you may want to consider changing jobs. You probably should have made your move away from your husband a year ago but it's never too late so get yourself packed and out of there. No one should put up with an abusive spouse who isn't dedicated to getting help.

I wrote to you once before, but it appears my letter was overlooked. I'm beginning to feel a little stressed over a situation that appears to be inevitable in my love life. I'm a Sagittarius, born December 2, 1961 at 9:45 p.m. A few years ago I met a wonderful man at work. He's a Gemini; born June 2, 1960 (I'm not sure of the time). I have a wonderful connection with this man--when we talk we're so connected that we finish each other's sentences. I also feel a strong connection in that I can feel his energy around me when he's not there. I've never felt this way with anyone before---not even my ex-husband. He was going through his divorce about the same time I was (shortly after we met), and we've been friends since then. I would like a romantic relationship with him, and I feel he wants one with me too but he seems to take two steps forward and then hold back. I can only assume this is because he's cautious of being hurt again. He won't reveal the reason to me. About six weeks ago, I met another man (Scorpio, born November 9, 1964, I don't know the time). We've talked a lot on the phone and started to date. I don't feel the same attraction with the Scorpio that I do with the Gemini, but the Scorpio is more "forward" in his approach which I really like. He also is not afraid to talk about his feelings, which I think is very important. I like him a lot--he's very sweet, considerate, intelligent and fun. I intend to keep dating the Scorpio. Can you tell me if the Gemini will ever step forward the way I've always hoped he would?I dread making choices between men, but I can almost see how this will play out. I'll start getting involved with the Scorpio and the Gemini will finally step forward and I'll feel guilty and torn. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but at the same time I want to be true to myself and follow my heart. The way I feel right now, I definitely want a relationship with the Gemini! You are still going through a very unstable period where relationships are concerned. To try to make a decision at this time would probably end in a negative spin. Both comparisons were just adequate. I think that you can do much better. I get the feeling that you don't like to be single, that you truly want someone to love when really you'd be best to go it alone for at least a little longer. Opportunities to make changes in your home environment will be present until the middle of next year and you should be focusing on doing just that. Build your own base and do the things that you like to do. It's time to enjoy your freedom. You match up well to those born under the signs Aries, Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. You will be in a much higher cycle regarding love and romance in 2002. For now you should be enjoying the company of friends and discovering whom you are and what you want in a partner. Don't jump into a new relationship too fast and for the wrong reason.
