I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. It's time to prepare for change and don't be afraid to partner up with someone in all aspects of your life. You may discover that joining forces with someone regarding your business may be a prosperous journey as well. My sun sign is in Cancer, I was born July 7, 1979, at 12:15 AM, and I've read enough on astrology to know that I should be compatible with both Virgo and Pisces. My past two relationships were with each, and although lengthy, they proved difficult.I think it may have something to do with my Aries rising. I'm afraid the aggressive nature so common in the ram is a bit intimidating, especially when the aggressor is female. My last fling was with an Aries male, and although at first there were sparks, it quickly diminished. I realize that other aspects affect astrological matchmaking, but I'd like to get your opinion on the matter. What male sign can handle both the Aries stubbornness, and the crab's ultra-sensitivity? My moon is in Sagittarius.

Actually in your particular case the Sun sign match up doesn't work all that well. Normally you should get along well with both Virgo and Scorpio. However, the sign Scorpio falls in an area of your chart that deals with dead end projects so it's unlikely to work. To add to this your natal Jupiter and Mercury are in the sign Leo adversely aspected to the sign Scorpio. The sign Virgo falls in an area that deals with work not personal matters such as relationships plus you have your natal Mars in Gemini and your natal Neptune in Sagittarius and that would clearly play havoc with a strong Virgo. Having your natal Sun in the 4th house adversely aspected to your natal Pluto in the 7th leads me to believe that you will have difficulty with relationships. Now that doesn't mean that you can't have a happy union. Especially with your natal Moon, Neptune, Jupiter and Mercury well aspected to the Pluto in your 7th but it does mean that you will have to choose your partner wisely and realize that relationships don't just happen, they require work, dedication, devotion and perseverance. You match up well to those born under the signs, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn and Aquarius. I suggest that you always run a comparison before you decide to get serious and intimate with someone. Although a person can be born under one of these signs it does not mean that they will have a lot of their natal planets in that sign and this could result in difficulties once again.

Today, I clicked on the "Community" Section for the first time on a whim, and saw the report on Steven Spielberg, which I greatly enjoyed. I would be very interested to know what the stars have planned for his sister Anne Spielberg. Anne is a talented screenwriter who earned an Oscar nomination for her screenplay "Big." I also have a specific question about odd coincidences, or synchronicityand my career.
I am a screenwriter, and I am planning to politely approach Mr. Spielberg for his advice on a mystical TV series I have created. I have never met him, but he has popped up now and then in my family's social circle (which is political, not Hollywood) in recent years. Very recently, I met someone who is a colleague of his sister Anne! And then, today, I came across your report on Steven Spielberg.
My question specifically is: Is there something to be gained by approaching these prominent and important people for advice on my project?
I enjoy your site tremendously. It is only in the past year that I have discovered what wonderful tool astrology is.I am a Virgo born September 12, 1963, at 11:56 AM. Unfortunately, I did not clue in to the significance of the Jupiter transit through my house of career and in time to make the fullest use of it. Timing, as you say, is everything. By the way Anne was born December 25, 1949.

Jupiter is transiting your eighth house of contracts and agreements so it's not a bad time to do deals however that is usually if they are already in the making. Consider the fact that Jupiter will be well aspected to your natal Mars in the eleventh followed by your natal Neptune in your twelfth and this can be a good time to do some behind the scenes investigating and diplomatic approaches to those who are in a position to help you get ahead. With the continuing movement of both Saturn and Jupiter over the course of the next several years you could actually do quite well. The groundwork you lay down now will help you reach higher levels later on. You are up for sudden changes especially where travel, communication and publishing is concerned so don't hold back now. You will have to be careful from a legal standpoint and make sure that your work is well protected before you decide to divulge your ideas.
Regarding Anne, she is going through a very creative cycle at the moment and with the type of chart she has I believe that she will probably reach another accolade in her life over the course of the next couple of years. Without her birth time it is difficult to be specific but she does have a marvelous chart and although there do appear to be some setbacks personally and emotionally while transiting Saturn is moving through Gemini I believe that she will still achieve with the aid of Jupiter moving through Cancer over the course of the upcoming year.
