We've all experienced times of conflict and personal struggle. Times when the assistance and advice of a friend always seemed to lend comfort and ease the burden. Have you ever wondered what it would be like if that friend was one of the world's most revered astrologers, with over 25 years of experience?

Dear Eugenia,
I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Dear MF
Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. It's time to prepare for change and don't be afraid to partner up with someone in all aspects of your life. You may discover that joining forces with someone regarding your business may be a prosperous journey as well. You match up well to those born under the signs Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Pisces but always get a complete astrological comparison done to be sure. Dear Eugenia!
This is kind of a long story, and question, but I'm really truly at a loss for what to do. I recently broke up with my boyfriend of 2 yrs (a Cancer man 22/6-68), and feel good about it! The relationship turned into a friendship, and we decided to call it quits. I'm now single and loving it, most of the time anyway, but there is a guy (Scorpio, 29/10-67).. I met him when I was still together with my ex, but I couldn't really do anything with him at the time. I ended up staying a night at his house, and loved every second I was with him. But I was in a relationship, and hadn't seen the light yet, so we lost touch. I never really stopped thinking about him, and he was always playing in the back of my mind. But suddenly after 4 months he calls me, and we end up having the best phone conversation ever. It's like we never lost touch, and I realize as we're talking that "shit I really really like him." But as it seems I'm prone to bad luck in love, I tried hitting the breaks with my self emotionally. I know he likes me too, we have a chemistry that blows me away, we talk on the phone for hours, about everything between heaven and earth. And the sexual chemistry I experienced with him in September (we didn't have sex, but we did get very intimate) knocked me to my feet!!! But, his life is very very complicated now, his father just died, and their relationship was strained, and there seems to be a long lost sister trying to get her share of the estate left after his dad. And he is so focused on doing the right thing all the bloody time, always, that I know there's no room for any emotional/relationship thing at this point. I am not a very patient person, but I find myself, for the first time, willing to wait for his life to settle back. I've offered him my friendship and he seems to want it, and appreciate it! But, what is this thing with us? What does this "thing" have in store for me? Is friendship all he wants forever? I'm falling slowly, and it's basically for his personality (haven't seen him in person for 4 months..) and he just intrigues me, he makes me wanna get a grip of my life.. I really do hope you can help me understand this guy and what he thinks. I've never felt this unsure about myself or the future of my feelings for this Scorpio man. Thanx,
Anett.
Dear Anett
There are a lot of oppositions in your comparison with your Scorpio friend and although this can make the pull between the two of you very dynamic it isn't always the best when it comes right down to everyday life. The major sign of sorrow does show up in your comparison and this worries me. I do believe that he is very attracted to you but I also feel that he is extremely practical having his natal Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in the sign Virgo and is probably questioning the age difference between you. People with a lot of Virgo in their charts do tend to marry later in life. They want to be one hundred percent certain that they have chosen wisely and he probably fears that at some point you will move on. You on the other hand are a very strong Taurus and they are usually true blue beginning to end but you also have three planets in Libra and one in Sagittarius and this can cause problems when your partner's looks depreciate. Offer your friendship but unless you truly believe you can go the distance and do life with this very serious and loyal man I suggest you let him go. As I mentioned the comparison has a real push/pull to it and I'm afraid that you will probably hurt him in the end. I know that your ex was also quite a bit older and your comparison to him was comparable to that with your Scorpio friend. This really isn't an age thing on your side right now but it certainly could be in the future. Some people do well with those much older when they are young and those much younger when they are old. Think about it.

Dear Ms. Last,
I read the letters and the answers and am always very impressed by you. I was born on 1/12/51 at 5:35 p.m. Here is my dilemma. Things are not going well at work right now and I have a feeling that my supervisor is trying to force me to quit. I have had a couple of job offers, one involving a move. At my age changing jobs and moving is very scary. I am so depressed right now and do not know what to do. Can you help me decide if changing jobs or moving would be a good thing or should I hang in at work and hope things will get better. I don't want to make the wrong decision. Thank you so much for your time.
In a quandary
Dear In a Quandary
I can understand your reluctance to move especially if you have friends and family around you but if you are basically alone I feel that it may be to your benefit. You didn?t mention how distant a move it might be and that would make a difference, if it is a move made from one state to another or further the change could actually be quite good for you. Making a move from one company to another or one part of town to another will not be as favorable. Regarding your job prospects it is apparent that whatever you decide to do things will be a little unnerving. I feel that opportunities are present and that whether you stay or go improvements are likely to unfold in the short term. Your depression stems from transiting Saturn moving toward your ascendant and opposite your natal Mercury and squaring your natal Saturn and Neptune. This has caused confusion as well as uncertainties about your future. Having the sign Cancer rising it is difficult for you to pick up and move or to even accept change but sometimes that?s exactly what?s required in order to move into the next phase of your life. It?s never all good ? life doesn?t work that way but it should be interesting to say the least so consider your options and research the possibility of making a move.
