Dear Eugenia,

I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Dear MF

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. It's time to prepare for change and don't be afraid to partner up with someone in all aspects of your life. You may discover that joining forces with someone regarding your business may be a prosperous journey as well. Article: From Down and Out

Hello Eugenia,

I really don't know how to dress this up to sound any different than a million other peoples problem but my financial situation has been so bad for so long now I really am losing all hope of ever getting back up off the floor. I really do value your input as you correctly told me the outcome of a relationship I thought was rock solid.

I'm a divorced dad, live alone and have a mountain of debt thanks to loans to keep myself afloat. Trouble is I'm sinking again. And please believe me when I tell you I am careful with money to the point of boredom.

Do you see any point for me to keep coming back or is this my lot in life?

Hi Down and Out

There does appear to be some relief just around the corner. The transit began August 10th and will continue with you until October 9th. It denotes that you can make some financial changes through career choices. You should be trying to do one of two things or both. Pick up another job or look for one that will pay you more and although you may say been there, tried that, in the past it probably would not have done you any good but over the course of the next two months it is apparent that you should be able to up your income if you apply for a better position or take on an extra job. That will at least help you get out of the hole you are in. With Mars being closest to the earth that it has been in 60,000 years and Jupiter quickly moving into the sign Jupiter opposite Mars there is a lot of anxiety that people are undergoing right now. In your case it does fall in an area that deals with how you earn your living and what you do with the money you earn. I do believe that you are careful with your cash but I also believe that there are other means that you can take to make your money stretch. The area of your chart that deals with investments is stabilizing and where property, dealing with other people's money, taxes rebates, insurance surrenders, inheritances, winnings and coming into money that you don't physically work for is now moving into a much higher cycle. This can also be a time that you discover that you have an asset that you either forgot about or that you realize you can turn over in order to consolidate your debt. You must be creative in your financial thinking and don't be afraid to invest a little in yourself. You may be able to offer a service on the side that will enable you to turn some of the negatives in your life into positives. I know that your chart has gone through some very difficult times financially the past two to three years but put that behind you and start to concentrate on what you have to offer. Now is the time to make your moves my friend. You have two months to do so. Don't give up now when the tables are just about to turn. It's up to you to initiate these changes and make them so. Hi Eugenia

I was born January 9th, 1968 at 10:00 P.M. It seems that too often when I read up on Capricorn, there is some type of foreboding or conflict pending, especially of late. Is there some sort of alignment somewhere creating this, and if so when will it change for the better. I have taken on a new business venture that is growing, but there seems to have been a great deal of obstacles slowing things down along the way. I was going insane emotionally and mentally, and so was my partner, who couldn't understand (as a witness), why there were so many delays with so much input on my part. My relationship suffered because of it. Do you know what's going on out there?

Well yes indeed there have been a couple of transiting planets (Saturn and Jupiter) playing havoc with your sign and to top it off other parts of your chart have also been afflicted by Uranus and Neptune as well. One of the most important transits that moved into your chart last fall and will remain with you until late this fall can cause you to expand too fast, take on too much etc so it is important that you don't move or grow too quickly. Transiting Saturn has been moving through the sign Cancer your polar opposite and this can cause limitations, frustrations, setback and obstacles which is exactly what you have been experiencing. This transit will be moving off your chart mid summer bringing you some relief. In the late fall when Jupiter moves into the sign Scorpio for approximately one year you will find that the tables will begin to turn in your favor in many different areas of your life from business to personal. Capricorns are very self-sufficient so they tend to move along even through the difficult times fixing things along the way. You didn't include your partners birth data however I'm sure he or she will be glad to hear that you do have better times heading your way. The area of your chart that deals with partnerships has been experiencing grief as well however this should begin to clear up the second half of this year and throughout next so you should be able to make amends.
