Dear Eugenia,

I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. It's time to prepare for change and don't be afraid to partner up with someone in all aspects of your life. Article: Trying to Forget

Dear Eugenia,

I have been under depression and frustration over this girl whom I met on chat. We started talking on chat, later on exchanged photos and phone numbers. We also talked many times over the phone and chatted regularly on the net. The problem is, at present she lives in another country. I am originally from the same country as she is. I met her personally last year around December and this was not the first time I proposed to her. Couple times before I proposed to her but she always kept saying its not practical for us to be together due to distance problem.

I love this girl very much and I believe that nothing is impossible in this world if we put total dedication and hard work into it. I haven't felt this strong for any girl before, I am truly in love with her. I know she also loves me but she is scared cause of distance problem things might not work out. It was my last and final try when I proposed to her last year. I made a decision that I will try to forget her since she's not ready and I do not want to be pushy in this matter.

But whenever we talk we still show some kind of affection and care towards each other. But this thing is troubling me very much that just cause of distance problems things are not working out. At present moving back to my native land is impossible for me, it might be possible after I graduate and look for jobs near her town. With her, I don't know if she could move here cause she's just avoiding this whole issue, may be cause she's very sensitive and gets hurt easily, plus scared to make a decision.

Her dob is 6th July 1982, time 4:07pm and mine is September 15, 1977, at 6:06 AM. Can you please tell me if there's a future for us together, are we destined to be a couple by any chance? PLEASE HELP.

The comparison was quite good however there is a sign of sorrow due to the distance between you. Communication and honesty can be your greatest asset when dealing with a situation like yours. I believe that you should consider approaching your dilemma from the angle that you will move to where she is in order to be with her once you finish your studies. I believe that she is very attached to her home and family and that is why she is finding it impractical to even consider moving forward with your relationship. Once you make it clear that you will do whatever is necessary in order to be with her it should help. She is moving into a period that could make or break your relationship with her. Unfortunately this may also be due to a commitment made by her parents to another man. You must speak openly about your intent and when you would be able to make it. It is important to talk to her parents and yours as well to see if everyone is in agreement. Your cultural background from what I understand would warrant you doing so. Please don't feel discouraged. Go through the proper channels and it will be much easier to proceed. Regarding being destined, I believe that any relationship can work if both people put in the time and effort. As for the two of you, your comparison is good and I believe with a little help you may just be destined to be together.

Article: Summer Romance

Dear Eugenia

I am an 18 years old boy. I had written a letter to you before, I am very pleased for the suggestion you gave to me. Now my relationship with a girl born February 11, 1984 is pretty good. I wanted to ask her to go out about one and half months ago. But I was afraid that I would fail, so I asked my friend to check her out for me. Unfortunately she said that she only likes me as a good friend, but does not love me. So I didn't ask her out...

About a month ago, she told me that she had a new boyfriend. When I heard this news, I was devastated. I didn't know what to say. I could only say "congratulations". The comparison with your Aquarius friend is good and you are coming into a high cycle regarding love this summer but you must also keep in mind that it may or may not be with her. I believe that if you keep yourself open and looking for love that you will meet someone equally as nice or maybe even nicer if she herself doesn't respond to you.
