This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Dear Eugenia,

This is my first time to do this and I'm a little nervous. I recently was in a three-year relationship with a gentleman born Nov.17, 1950, no birth time, I was born February 23, 1948, at 7:04 AM. We have known each other for years but each of us married and went out separate ways. He was married for 27 years and then got divorced, not his choice. He found me through my brother and came to see me the day he received his divorce papers and wanted me to read the papers for advice. Having been through a divorce I was very familiar with the situation and I helped him. Since that day we became friends again and talk nearly everyday. As time we on we became very close and I being a fool fell madly in love with this wonderful man. We lived together for three years. On April 12, 2003 he told me I needed to move out because he needed some time and space between us to think things out. He had never really gotten over his ex wife and was hoping she would try to come back. Several people told him as long as I was living with him she would never come back, so he ask me to leave. Well, to make a long story short she never intended to come back, it was wishful hoping on his part. After I left, we began seeing each other a few days a week and talked nearly everyday but he didn't really want to pursue out relationship as it was. We had a wonderful relationship; we were best friends, lovers and did everything together. He told me he was happy until everyone was telling him his ex wanted to come back and that confused him. I was so hurt. Now he is with someone four years younger and not even acting like the same person. Our last date was June 6, 2003 and his first date her was June 7, 2003 and they have been inseparable ever since. He moved into her home on June 18, 2003 and has no real contact with me since. His was a great family man with his children and grandchildren and now has moved out of his house and has really nothing to do with them. The woman he is with has her own successful business and has money. He has told several of our friends that he thinks the world of me and what a wonderful person I am. He will always love me but not be in love with me. The few time I have seen him, such as when I went to get me things from his home he was all over me (hugging & kissing). I have not heard from him for two weeks and never will. He is with this woman night and day, when he was on vacation he would even go to her work so she would not have contact with other people without him. He tells our friends he has a cute little rich girlfriend now. What do I do, I'm trying to get on with my life, I now have a good job but I am miserable without him. They have nothing in common. Quite the situation you are experiencing. You didn't tell me his new girlfriends birth date so I don't know how well they match up but I can tell you that your comparison with him really wasn't very good. You have a great chart however especially where your work is concerned and you can find love with the right person but you have to make your choices when it comes to love for the right reason. This man was on the rebound when you met him. That is never a very good way to start out a relationship and although I believe his connection to this younger woman probably won't last I do feel that he has been going through a certain amount of restlessness that has made him react suddenly. You should be working towards buying your first home now. Start saving your money and checking out some of the deals that builders are offering. It is apparent that between the summer of next year until the spring of 2004 you should be able to make a move in that direction but please don't wait until that time to start saving and looking. You may just find that your mortgage will be as cheap as your rent. You are in a high cycle regarding your work until mid to late August and it is important to consider making a professional move or ask for a promotion between now and then if you want to try to up your income. This is also the time to consider changing career direction if you aren't happy with your current position. Regarding marriage you have been going through a dry spell during your Saturn return and although you feel as if you should be settling down you still have plenty of time. You will be in a much better position regarding love in 2004. Now that doesn't mean that you won't meet someone before that time but that is when the relationship can become more serious in nature. Article: A Weak Woman

Dear Eugenia

This is my third attempt to connect with you. I think this is a wonderful feature that you offer, and your generosity is so very much appreciated!! I have been having some intense problems with my lover of almost 2 years. We are both passionate people, and fell in love with each other over night. We've been together ever since we met (Sept. 9th, 1999). Neither of us has ever experienced love like this before. BUT, I have never experienced such emotionally "brutal" fights in my life. This man that I love can also be cruel, merciless, and manipulative. I need to know what his chart says about this streak in him (I know it has to do with Scorpio) because I am now trying to be very realistic about what I am getting myself into over long term. You have said before that Scorpio men hate any sign of weakness....well, that is a tall order, seeing that every woman or man has their weaknesses. Piscean's tend to show their weaknesses even more so...or at least they appear weak to many people.

I am one of these Piscean's. I have had a very hard life, and in my 27 years have come a very long way from how I was raised. People often see me as angelic, youthful, darling, blessed, and sheltered. It is so ironic, because my background was one of deep sadness, nightmares, and abuse!! Many things happened, but one that I can say just a few words about and gain some understanding is that my mother went into a mental institution when I was six, came out shortly after, and raised me, herself an unmedicated paranoid schizophrenic until I was 11. I lived in a very different world until other adults got involved and took me out of that situation. Obviously this has a tremendous affect on my ability to relate to my peers. My father begrudgingly took me in to live with he and his new wife. They threw me into school (I had not been to elementary school in two years) and punished me for not doing well. My Dad and stepmother treated me like a leper (my stepmother was a very jealous young woman) for years. They made a great income, but did not buy me clothes unless they were from the goodwill or Salvation Army. I always felt like I should ask them to forgive me for imposing on their life. Truly.

Well, I never got past the ninth grade. I worked, starting at 14, in restaurants. I had great dreams of traveling the world, escaping my sadness, becoming something extraordinary. The idealistic dreams of youth always seem to elude us all. I just kept struggling, trying to go back to school and dropping out. It was awful, and by this time, my beloved mother was a homeless woman. Anyway (I am writing much more than I intended) I am now working in a high tech job. My personality is what got me in the door, plus some white lies on my resume. Looking at my current life, my job included, no one who would meet me now would ever even imagine where I came from. I think this is pretty good. I am sad that I have not gone to see the world yet. I would like to write books. I love to write, but self-discipline is very hard for me.

Ok, so my current love belittles me and says that I am weak (I do cry a lot) and that he does not want a weak woman. Other times he tells me I am the best thing that has ever happened to him. He is going to Europe (leaving tomorrow) for 3 months without me. I am incredibly hurt by this. Please tell me what our charts say about our ability to work through things.
