This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

I have written before & I know you are a busy lady, but here goes - I'll try again. I have come to almost a complete stop in my life whereby I don't know what I should do. I have been successful in the past in regards to my career but now I can't get my mojo working again. Also, my partner's birthday is Jan. 18th, 1961 at midnight. I feel love but also feel that other things are going on - is this just a symptom of a change in life or are the charts not compatible? November looks relatively clear regarding any surgery that you are undergoing however over the course of the next couple of years there does appear to be more involvement with institutions such as hospitals so stay on top of your health. Regarding the relationship, the comparison was more of a love/hate connection. Physically it appears to be quite good and certainly there is chemistry but mentally and emotionally I feel that it is lacking understanding and a common denominator that should be in place. Your partner is going through emotional confusion as well as emotional deception and this could be causing some problems. With regard to your chart relationship uncertainty has been present for some time now making it difficult for you to see where it's headed. Thank you for your wonderful website and your free readings for members. You have the magic touch especially for me. I was born 6:20 am on 04/08/1975 and my husband was born on 10/03/71 I am unsure of the time. I am under a lot of stress and pressure at the moment. You see I am 36 weeks pregnant and my husband has been away for 6 months. He went to work in another part of the country and he has been staying with another woman. In the last 9 months of our marriage this woman has desperately wanted to rip my marriage apart. My husband had been playing games with me, saying that he was never cheating on me until I found out that he was. This woman was born on 04/01/1976. I thought that she had succeeded until I recently spoke to my husband this week. He spoke to me for 2 hours on the phone and on the ICQ chat room on the internet telling me what he had done was a big mistake and he wants to come home to his family.

We already have a little boy who is 15months old and he really misses his daddy. He adores his father. I would love nothing more than for my husband and I to reunite and start all over again but I am concerned that what he is telling me is all lies. This woman has played some very nasty mind-games with me throughout this time and she is now starting to call herself my son's mother. She has sent so many e-mails to me pretending to be my husband saying that "they" are both coming to my home to take my son away from me. She even went to the extreme of telling me that she was pregnant with my husband's child. She has 2 children of her own and is still married. She ran away from her husband so that he could not see his son grow up (one child is not his). She has wrecked 4 marriages as well as her own and is only out to chase men that have a lot of money. My husband and I have our own business and that's what she is after. She has never worked a day in her life, unless you count being a prostitute work, but she only wants money to drink her self stupid, as she is an alcoholic.

There are a lot of other things that she has done to me, including: trying to get me so stressed out that I miscarried our baby. A legal representative has only now told me that I can have her charged for stalking as well as causing mental anguish. All I would really like to know is should I trust my husbands word or is he just playing games with me too? We have been married for almost 3 years and even though my husband has done the wrong thing, I am still very much in love with him, and I always will be. He keeps telling me how much he loves and misses me, but if he does- he would not have done what he did in the first place and if he wanted his family back so badly he would have been back by now. 6 months is a very long time and I have had to raise my son and go through this pregnancy practically on my own. His parents live right next door to me, and they have been wonderful as they are supporting me 100% and they are not very happy with what he has done either. I guess I am lucky that I have his family here to support me.

Article: The Inevitable Nature of Student Loans

Dear Ms. Last,

I will make my request brief since you have been bombarded with much e-mail. I am a young woman approaching thirty and I require some advice as to which road to take concerning my future. As of September 2000, I will be completing my last year in an MA of Fine Arts. My focus is archaeology. I love the academic field, but I have acquired a student debt that I fear will be a continued burden if I pursue my PHD. I have been working part time and sometimes full time, for a retail store for the past five years. I know that I have an opportunity to be a manager when the position opens. This position will provide me with the financial resources to pay off my debts and acquire some financial security. I thought that if I chose this path, I could do my PHD later and be more confident and less worried and stressed. However, I have found that people usually lose touch with their academic endeavors once they leave school. I do not want this to happen. I would like to teach archaeology at the university level and have my own excavation, but I feel that I must secure my life before I pursue my dream. What is your advice?

I'm a big believer in following your dreams. It takes hard work and dedication but it is obvious that you have that ability. You should not stop working however I believe that you should continue your studies as well. If you have to take a year off I suggest that you do it over the course of the last quarter of this year and the first three of next. After that I feel that it will be important to continue your studies. You may be able to work out some arrangement with your place of work or if you look to the university for possible work it may put you in an ideal situation. You should also consider the possibility of doing your PHD through correspondence or night classes that will allow you to work as well. Nothing worthwhile comes easy. I remember working full time/studying/building my practice all at the same time and although it wasn't easy it was a memorable time for me. The sense of accomplishment that you will feel will make it well worth your while. Your chart indicates that you are a hard working, detailed individual who does belong in the school system. Teaching/studying and traveling are the three main features in your chart that stand out as being you're driving force. Your work and money areas are in a high cycle for the next few years as are your educational areas therefore I suggest that you tighten your belt and prepare to study/work and pay back your debt.
