I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I have written before & I know you are a busy lady, but here goes - I'll try again. I have come to almost a complete stop in my life whereby I don't know what I should do. I have been successful in the past in regards to my career but now I can't get my mojo working again. Also, my partner's birthday is Jan. 18th, 1961 at midnight. I feel love but also feel that other things are going on - is this just a symptom of a change in life or are the charts not compatible? Can you guide me with this? p.s. will be having an operation in November - any tips? I was born October 13, 1954 at 7:30 am.

November looks relatively clear regarding any surgery that you are undergoing however over the course of the next couple of years there does appear to be more involvement with institutions such as hospitals so stay on top of your health. Regarding the relationship, the comparison was more of a love/hate connection. Physically it appears to be quite good and certainly there is chemistry but mentally and emotionally I feel that it is lacking understanding and a common denominator that should be in place. Your partner is going through emotional confusion as well as emotional deception and this could be causing some problems. With regard to your chart relationship uncertainty has been present for some time now making it difficult for you to see where it's headed. I think that you both have a real draw to one another but I'm not sure that it is a healthy relationship and that it may be time to check out your options. Sometimes when your mojo stops working it's because you need to make changes and if you are reluctant to do so you can expect things to stagnate. First, I enjoy your website and read the daily scope every day. I am married for the second time to a Sagittarius [12/5/1946] who is incapable of returning my love. As we approach retirement, I find that I am unable to look forward to any happiness while I am with this person. He is at the same time, dependent on me financially, ignores me in public, blocks all emotion and has an addiction to alcohol and he refuses to deal with it. I am wondering if I were to cut the ties, let him go, will he be able to recover? He is so good at hiding his emotions, I am not sure whether he has them or not. Additionally, I have not had a fortunate family life, either as a child, or as an adult. If I were to divorce this man, is there any hope of finding happiness with anyone else? The comparison was not that great however there were signs that when you originally got together there was some passion and good times. Your husband does not have an addictive chart in the sense that he can't recover but he does have some strong psychological problems that I believe will require serious counseling. This is probably why he is drowning his sorrows or poor me syndrome in alcohol. Unfortunately for him this is his problem and he is the only one who can solve it. I suggest that you get out and do so now. Make sure that you cover yourself legally and don't be afraid to use the word abusive relationship when you go to your lawyer. Your husband has been abusive by ignoring you to the point that you don't have a loving or even caring relationship. This is a lonely situation to end up in. You will be in a high cycle regarding love next year so I suggest that you get yourself out of this situation as soon as possible so that you have time to reorganize your life, discover what like to do, who you are as a single person and what you want in a partner. I have been with the same man for 22 years, married for 13. So there is no need to tell you how much it hurt when he left me for another woman. It was totally unexpected, as I love my husband very much. I was born in Montreal, March 15, 1961 between 1:15 and 1:30 PM and he on February 13, 1961. The woman he left the children and me for was born June 10th, 1967 and let me tell you that she is quite the number. She contacted me a few times and she is very nasty.
What is in store for me in 2003? Is it divorce or reconciliation? I have a feeling my husband does not see everything that he is losing by leaving the family and engaging in a relationship where one of the parties seems to be after money. Please tell me that my children and myself will be OK.

I understand your grief, it is always hard to be put in the position that your husband has put you in. If it's any consolation you do match up better to him then she does in most aspects however physically he matches up better to her. I do feel however that once the physical subsides that trouble will brew between them. Sorrow is present in the comparison between them and will probably surface over the next couple of years should they last that long. Even should they not last I do feel that you must be made aware of the fact that your husband is probably a bed bouncer. He can be smooth, erratic and usually gets away with things. Personally I believe that you should be the one moving on. You are coming into a high cycle regarding love over the summer months (especially August) now this can mean that he will waltz back into your life or you will meet someone worthy of your sincerity, love and affection. If your ex sees you moving on I'm afraid he will start to realize what he has given up and quite frankly you can do better. You do match up to his sign but the natal Sun in his chart does fall in an area of your chart that deals with dead end projects. If you pick another Aquarius choose one born early in the sign like late January early February for best results. You also match up to those born under the signs Taurus, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio and Capricorn.
