Where do I begin as the song says! Since the end of December my life has completely changed. My mother fell very ill nearly died and as a result she is no longer able to live alone. My sister and I agreed that we would never put my mom in a nursing home. So, I moved to a bigger house and moved 2 households into one. My adult children live with me too. I have a job where I like the work I do, but my boss is very verbally abusive, and have been working on making some professional changes (do you show anything in my chart in that regard??)Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining, I am on a Spiritual Path and I know that all these situations are just lessons being learned.
My question to you though is this; According to my chart do you see any particular endeavors that would be better than another for me to pursue? I am now in the travel industry. I have experience in the hospitality industry as well. Healing, Hypnosis (I have certification) and NLP are my love though. I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't know what I want to do when I grow up?? Do you have any suggestions or ideas?? Any help would be great, I would really appreciated it. You are right about making changes. Your chart indicates that you should be concentrating on your work, money and career. Over the course of the next three years you will have plenty of opportunities to forge ahead in whichever field you decide to pursue. I will make my request brief since you have been bombarded with much e-mail. I am a young woman approaching thirty and I require some advice as to which road to take concerning my future. As of September 2000, I will be completing my last year in an MA of Fine Arts. My focus is archaeology. I love the academic field, but I have acquired a student debt that I fear will be a continued burden if I pursue my PHD. I have been working part time and sometimes full time, for a retail store for the past five years. I know that I have an opportunity to be a manager when the position opens. This position will provide me with the financial resources to pay off my debts and acquire some financial security. I thought that if I chose this path, I could do my PHD later and be more confident and less worried and stressed. However, I have found that people usually lose touch with their academic endeavors once they leave school. I do not want this to happen. I would like to teach archaeology at the university level and have my own excavation, but I feel that I must secure my life before I pursue my dream. What is your advice?

I'm a big believer in following your dreams. It takes hard work and dedication but it is obvious that you have that ability. You should not stop working however I believe that you should continue your studies as well. If you have to take a year off I suggest that you do it over the course of the last quarter of this year and the first three of next. After that I feel that it will be important to continue your studies. You may be able to work out some arrangement with your place of work or if you look to the university for possible work it may put you in an ideal situation. You should also consider the possibility of doing your PHD through correspondence or night classes that will allow you to work as well. Nothing worthwhile comes easy. I remember working full time/studying/building my practice all at the same time and although it wasn't easy it was a memorable time for me. The sense of accomplishment that you will feel will make it well worth your while. Your chart indicates that you are a hard working, detailed individual who does belong in the school system. Teaching/studying and traveling are the three main features in your chart that stand out as being you're driving force. Your work and money areas are in a high cycle for the next few years as are your educational areas therefore I suggest that you tighten your belt and prepare to study/work and pay back your debt.

I've written to you several times but as yet have not had an answer, so I'm sure that you must be extremely busy. Your advice is so thorough that I hope you will answer my letter. I have been seeing a Gemini male, born June 13, 1950, 4:30 p.m. We've been intimate but it has been more as a friendship than anything else. We don't live together but we live nearby one another. I've known him for approximately one and a half years. He comes on hot and cold (depending on his stresses of the day). He works in an extremely high stress job. If he's had a couple of beers he confesses that he likes me and that he can't believe that I would care for someone like him. He insists he wants to remain friends, yet when I tell him that I can't be friends and try to let go, he talks me into hanging around. I love this man deeply and have been trying to help him. If the job has stressed him that particular day he does not want to talk and if he does, he has a tendency of cutting you off, so that all you want to do is get off the phone with him. Am I wasting my time? Should I continue to be friends with him? You have to be friends before you become lovers. Friends are there forever but lovers come and go. Wake up and realize that if you enjoy being with this man it really doesn't matter and get over his Gemini aloofness and enjoy the moment. I do believe that he loves you. You match up very well emotionally, physically and mentally - what more do you want. On the down side he falls in an area of your chart that deals with secret affairs so if he isn't including you in the rest of his life you may have a serious problem to deal with and you fall in an area of his chart that deals with communication and dealing with his friends and family so if there is a problem regarding these matters you may want to consider clearing them up before moving forward. Your chart indicates that you will be in a high cycle regarding commitment and getting serious beginning mid summer however that doesn't guarantee that it will be with him. With transiting Saturn beginning to move across the top of his chart this year you may find him more receptive to settling down as well as less stressed because he will finally be getting the recognition he needs to feel good about his work. If you don't find him leaning toward becoming more serious between now and the fall of next year you may want to set your sights on someone new.
