This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Article: On the Road

Dear Eugenia,

I am in love with a guy that 'fired' me and dumped me all in the same day. He was attempting to teach me how to drive as a trucker. We remained friends for 2 weeks. I am trying to get into a truck driving school, I asked him if I could borrow one of his vehicles, the school is out of state and I have no vehicle of my own. He is so boiling mad and fuming that I even asked that question! He is not my friend anymore, he says, that I was using him, which I was not. But yet, he would like to know how I am doing in school, and also said that he is still quite fond of me. He will not even consider any kind of friendship with me until after he is over being mad at me. He wants no contact from me, but said to email him or call him when I am in school. He said that after I am in school, we would take it from there. Am I getting mixed signals or what? We were together for 5 weeks on the road; not understanding how you can fire someone you weren't even paying.....I have no idea how long it will take him to get over being mad at me; or if there is a chance of winning back his friendship. I was born on 6/22/60 at 10:32 am. He was born 9/8/61. Do I hold any hope of ever regaining his friendship and maybe a relationship again? Thank you.

The comparison certainly had some hot connections. It is apparent that emotionally and physically you do hook up but mentally there will be problems. Arguments and misunderstandings can be expected. I believe that this could turn out to be one of those love/hate relationships where you can't live with or without the other person. Back up, slow down and start all over. When you finish your trucker's course contact him and try to keep everything open, honest and amiable. If you can do so you may stand a chance at making this one work. If you find that it's just too difficult don't despair. You will be in a high cycle for love next summer. Article: Karmic Intuition

Dear Eugenia

I have recently made a drastic change in my life, largely due to a relationship with a Gemini born 6/1/40.I am a Leo, born 8/4/45, at 7:44 AM. There seemed to be a sort of karmic intuition between us and we became close friends. Having many things in common; except that I am open, expressive and he is guarded emotionally and reserved, preventing a romance to come to fruition, though attraction and deep feelings were present for both of us.

Together, we decided that we would relocate as we were looking for the same sort of change in our lives. I sold my house and explored a couple of areas we were both interested in while he was dealing with some unfinished business. I believe he has Pisces rising, as he can be very nebulous and contradictory and procrastinating at times. Anyway, at the last minute, 6/20/00, he said he didn't want to do this together. I feel extremely betrayed, but more so rather stupid and confused. We had planned to work together in some sort of outreach ministry. I have had to proceed with my own move to another state without the support I felt I needed to do this. I have not heard from him. I guess what I want to know is, can this move and drastic change ultimately be beneficial for me or should I consider moving back home. I have been drawn to men who hurt me and he certainly is one of them. I am trying to change that pattern and get some spiritual healing for this. Your chart indicates that you are sensitive, loving and warm and those qualities although wonderful to have can leave you vulnerable when it comes to relationships. Your comparison with your Gemini friend wasn't' bad but you must know that they can be extremely flippant at the best of times. This is a man who is going through a questionable period. You could ask him the same question two days in a row and get a different answer therefore I wouldn't rule him out. The comparison was okay but I also believe that you can do better. Regarding the move he has enough Cancer and Taurus in his chart to make it difficult for him to pick up and leave. In some ways he is torn between the Gemini Peter Pan quality that makes him want to jump at the chance to do things and the Cancer/Taurus looking for stability and roots. As for you, the move was probably good. It got you away from him. You will be in a high cycle regarding love, romance and partnerships (both business and emotional) as we approach the summer of next year. Don't waste your time playing with someone who can't get it together. Although it is likely that people from your past will come back into your life at that time you are best to look forward and move on to new people, possibly places and certainly new directions. Article: Moving On

Dear Eugenia,

I expect you won't be able to answer this letter, but the worst that can happen is silence. I was born September 20, 1973 @ 5:15 p.m. Three years ago, I lost my grandmother and then a year later, I lost my Mom. I started University, two months after my Mother passed away and I am afraid that my scholastic career has thus far been less than spectacular. Although, the long depression that I suffered through has dissipated somewhat I now realize that I may have dug a hole for myself so bad I will never be able to save myself from it. I am still somewhat confused about how I should proceed. Should I try to finish school now, while I am here or wander in the real world for a couple of years so I won't waste any more time?

I haven't had a serious relationship in quite some time. The thought of putting myself forward has been rather frightening. Is it a bad idea to even think about finding Mr. Right now?

I really don't know which is worse the depression or the confusion. Either way I feel so buried, I don't know which way is up or down.

You are coming into a much higher cycle and it is important that you prepare to continue your education in some capacity. That could mean doing an apprenticeship, or going back full time. Where love and romance are concerned your chart picks up during the second half of next year and if you are involved in social groups or organizations you should meet someone you are attracted to. You should also be considering investing whatever money you have during the first half of next year. It will also be a favorable time to make residential changes or moves as well. Things are picking up for you and for now you shouldn't be too hard on yourself. You've been through a lot over the past three years and you need time to heal. If you want to work and take a little time off school due so now with the intent of going back during the second half of next year. You can also put your efforts into work and study part time for now. Next summer you should consider taking a trip. It will turn out to be a valuable experience as well as introduce you to some interesting people, places and things. You are coming into a growth period and you will begin to expand your circle of friends as well as your horizons.
