This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Dear Eugenia,

I am in love with a guy that 'fired' me and dumped me all in the same day. He was attempting to teach me how to drive as a trucker. We remained friends for 2 weeks. I am trying to get into a truck driving school, I asked him if I could borrow one of his vehicles, the school is out of state and I have no vehicle of my own. He is so boiling mad and fuming that I even asked that question! He is not my friend anymore, he says, that I was using him, which I was not. But yet, he would like to know how I am doing in school, and also said that he is still quite fond of me. He will not even consider any kind of friendship with me until after he is over being mad at me. He wants no contact from me, but said to email him or call him when I am in school. He said that after I am in school, we would take it from there. Am I getting mixed signals or what? We were together for 5 weeks on the road; not understanding how you can fire someone you weren't even paying.....I have no idea how long it will take him to get over being mad at me; or if there is a chance of winning back his friendship. I was born on 6/22/60 at 10:32 am. He was born 9/8/61. Do I hold any hope of ever regaining his friendship and maybe a relationship again? Thank you.

The comparison certainly had some hot connections. It is apparent that emotionally and physically you do hook up but mentally there will be problems. Arguments and misunderstandings can be expected. I believe that this could turn out to be one of those love/hate relationships where you can't live with or without the other person. Back up, slow down and start all over. When you finish your trucker's course contact him and try to keep everything open, honest and amiable. If you can do so you may stand a chance at making this one work. If you find that it's just too difficult don't despair. You will be in a high cycle for love next summer. Article: Still Covet The Ex

Dear Eugenia,

First off I want to state that I really enjoy this web site. It's full of information, and best of all it's FREE!!! So, Thanks.Secondly, In the past year I (July 21, 1979, at 4:5; 7 PM) have had a few boyfriends (I use this word lightly) all of whom I have pushed away due to an ever persistent, lingering, thought of my ex (April 5, 1979). We have been apart over a year and even though he has moved on I can't seem to, my heart won't let me. So I continually push away every other guy that comes my way, because really, how fair is it to be with them in mind but not in heart. Things are not made any easier by this recurring dream I have that he is coming back. Though I do realize that I am not the same person I was when I knew him and in turn I am sure he is not the same person that I knew either, I can't seem to forget him. I've tried, but everything seems to remind me of him and "our time". I even went to a professional Tarot card reader and before I could even get comfortable she was telling me what he looked like (even his height), how he acted, and about our relationship together.I went to see her right after our breakup to get a grasp on what was ahead of me, but all she could talk about was how he would be coming back and that things would be better this time. Well, It's been over a year since that reading and he is nowhere in sight, but what I want to know is how do I move on? Sometimes I think I'm ready, then I'll run into him somewhere and pretend not to see him, because the thought of us having idle, meaningless conversation just kills me. Dear Eugenia,

I am a 44 year old female born December 22, 1958 at 10 pm and currently residing in New York. I have recently become involved in a long distance relationship with a younger man (he resides in North Carolina). I grew up in his hometown and visit it quite frequently, at least once every other month. Not only is he younger but also he is a Gemini (DOB 6/17/74). Which I have been told he is not compatible with my sign and to steer clear. Yet our time together is very special. He is a great conversationalist, while am a good listener. He appreciates the fact that I only offer advice when he requests it. I find him highly intelligent and that is most important to me. The problem is I am always drawn to Gemini's, if I would walk in a room full of available bachelors the one that I would be most attracted to would turn out to be a Gemini. You were born with the sign Aquarius in an area of your chart that deals with partnerships and relationships therefore the Air signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are not bad for you. I do think that Geminis are particularly good because they fall in an area of people who can help you achieve your dreams, hopes and wishes for the future. You can learn from them and prosper because of them. With your Sun and Venus in the sign Capricorn you will always do better with partners who are much younger or much older than you are and with your Mercury and Saturn in Sagittarius you will always be attracted to Gemini's or men who are intellectual.
