I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I am in love with a guy that 'fired' me and dumped me all in the same day. He was attempting to teach me how to drive as a trucker. We remained friends for 2 weeks. I am trying to get into a truck driving school, I asked him if I could borrow one of his vehicles, the school is out of state and I have no vehicle of my own. He is so boiling mad and fuming that I even asked that question! He is not my friend anymore, he says, that I was using him, which I was not. But yet, he would like to know how I am doing in school, and also said that he is still quite fond of me. He will not even consider any kind of friendship with me until after he is over being mad at me. He wants no contact from me, but said to email him or call him when I am in school. He said that after I am in school, we would take it from there. Am I getting mixed signals or what? We were together for 5 weeks on the road; not understanding how you can fire someone you weren't even paying.....I have no idea how long it will take him to get over being mad at me; or if there is a chance of winning back his friendship. I was born on 6/22/60 at 10:32 am. He was born 9/8/61. Do I hold any hope of ever regaining his friendship and maybe a relationship again? Thank you.

The comparison certainly had some hot connections. It is apparent that emotionally and physically you do hook up but mentally there will be problems. Arguments and misunderstandings can be expected. I believe that this could turn out to be one of those love/hate relationships where you can't live with or without the other person. Back up, slow down and start all over. When you finish your trucker's course contact him and try to keep everything open, honest and amiable. If you can do so you may stand a chance at making this one work. If you find that it's just too difficult don't despair. You will be in a high cycle for love next summer. You match up well to those born under the signs Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces.

I was reading my horoscope (Leo) and the love matches or slaves. For Leo and Aries, it says, "this is a capricious union". When I do the opposite and look at the Aries horoscope and scroll down to love slaves, it says, "a match made in heaven". Is there a discrepancy or am I interpreting the word "capricious" wrong.
Also I felt discouraged at the description found in Leo in the game of love. It says that Leo women often bestow their love and affection on the wrong men. Can you elaborate on that so as to have an understanding about who the "wrong men" are in this case? I was born August 11, 1963, at 1:15 am.

The difference is who is playing the male role in the relationship and who is playing the female role. When the female is Aries and the male Leo it works better than the other way around. When the Aries is the male it makes the relationship far more unreliable. Regarding Leo females it is a trait to pick the wrong men however that isn't always the case depending on other factors in her chart. In your particular case your natal Venus is in Leo as well as your Sun well aspected to your natal Jupiter in Aries and this does tend to give you better luck when choosing a partner. Also with your natal Saturn opposite your natal Venus and Sun and sextile your natal Jupiter it help you not to jump as quickly. You do however have your natal Neptune in an adverse position to your Saturn, Venus and Sun and this can sometimes with certain partners, especially those you meet through work, cause you to be disillusioned leading to disappointment. Sun Sign astrology is fun but a birth chart is like your fingerprint. It is a roadmap of your life and when you take any two charts and put them together it is a unique combination. Some partners will bring out the best in you and others will not. Each is an individual case and must be treated that way. Never take to heart the generalities of the subject. When I check out romance compatibility with my ex-husband it reads 91%. When I check out other possibilities, it reads only 52%. As I said the 91% was my (thankfully) Ex-husband. I am wondering why or how such decisions are arrived at. My birth info as above is Aug 10,1949 actually at the dot of Midnight, which I guess is 11:00 p.m. for your timing purposes. My Ex's birth info is Mar. 24, 1941. I don't know exact time but his mother had thought it might have been early a.m. I suspect he's got Aries rising. Another example of dates of only 50's % are Feb. 14,1968 and June 27,1946. Thanks for your interest. Thanks for the web-site and for being on The Erin Davis show. The comparison with your Aries EX was high because it was relatively well matched up mentally, physically and emotionally. Unfortunately you both went through difficult transits at the same time and that probably made you move on. Your charts indicate that you are both moving toward a huge period of mental growth over the course of the next four years and that this will be good for both of you. Although you may both experience some let downs during the process the end result will be quite good. Regarding the other two gents in your life, the Aquarius just didn't have enough planets in his natal chart that aspected your natal chart plus his natal Neptune adversely aspected your natal Mercury and this usually is an indication of deception, denial etc. It was a connection that suddenly began and ended just as suddenly. Your Cancers natal chart lacked planetary connections to your chart. He actually would have made a better brother. You know one that you don't see that often. Compatibility is the result of natal planets in both people's charts being at favorable angles to one another.
