I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I am in love with a guy that 'fired' me and dumped me all in the same day. He was attempting to teach me how to drive as a trucker. We remained friends for 2 weeks. I am trying to get into a truck driving school, I asked him if I could borrow one of his vehicles, the school is out of state and I have no vehicle of my own. He is so boiling mad and fuming that I even asked that question! He is not my friend anymore, he says, that I was using him, which I was not. But yet, he would like to know how I am doing in school, and also said that he is still quite fond of me. He will not even consider any kind of friendship with me until after he is over being mad at me. He wants no contact from me, but said to email him or call him when I am in school. He said that after I am in school, we would take it from there. Am I getting mixed signals or what? We were together for 5 weeks on the road; not understanding how you can fire someone you weren't even paying.....I have no idea how long it will take him to get over being mad at me; or if there is a chance of winning back his friendship. I was born on 6/22/60 at 10:32 am. He was born 9/8/61. Do I hold any hope of ever regaining his friendship and maybe a relationship again? Thank you.

The comparison certainly had some hot connections. It is apparent that emotionally and physically you do hook up but mentally there will be problems. Arguments and misunderstandings can be expected. I believe that this could turn out to be one of those love/hate relationships where you can't live with or without the other person. Back up, slow down and start all over. When you finish your trucker's course contact him and try to keep everything open, honest and amiable. If you can do so you may stand a chance at making this one work. If you find that it's just too difficult don't despair. You will be in a high cycle for love next summer. You match up well to those born under the signs Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces.

I was hoping you could answer two questions regarding my natal chart.
First question:
I was born on the 26th of October, so I am told that means I was born on the cusp of Libra and Scorpio. Does that mean that I have qualities of both equally, or do I possess both Libra and Scorpio qualities, but since my birth date actually falls into Scorpio, am I Scorpio with Libra tendencies.
Second question:
My sun sign falls into the 12th house, but only 2 degrees from my first house. Should I read sun/12th house exclusively, combinations of sun/12/1 or since it is less than 10 degrees away, consider my sun/1st house exclusively.

Your birth time should include DST. If you haven't taken the hour off you should, making your time 6:20 AM. With that in mind you actually have Scorpio rising with your Sun, Mercury and Neptune in Scorpio in your 1st house and Libra in your 12th well hidden. However if you had taken the hour off, allowing for DST (therefore you were actually born at 8:20 AM) your Sun would be in your 12th house with Scorpio rising and both Mercury and Neptune in Scorpio still making the Scorpio influence the strongest. You would however read your Sun as being in the 12th and your rising sign Scorpio with your Mercury in the first in Scorpio and your Neptune in the first in Scorpio. No matter how you slice it your chart does not indicate much of a Libra influence however the sign Virgo is with your natal Venus, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto situated in that sign.

I have this wonderful friend in my life that I share so much with. We travel together, make art, shop, talk for hours, go on midnight adventures, love the same food, find each other hilarious, hug every time we say goodbye, and can't spend two days apart. I haven't had a man in my life, long term, for over three years. This guy seems to have found his way into my life, and my heart, but is it more than friendship? What are the possibilities for us? My birthday is Feb 12/76 (4:15pm), his is June 27/75 (4:15am). I was told that my moon is Cancer (his sun), and his moon is Aquarius (my sun). Is that right? What does that mean for us? We both seem to be in a state of flux right now. Will we still be close over the next year? Thank you for all your insights.

The comparison does show a definite admiration between the two of you. I am a big believer that you have to be friends before you become lovers. That doesn't mean that you won't have chemistry. The stronger the chemistry is the more important it is to go slow and build the friendship first. In your particular case you do have your Moon in Cancer and he does have his Moon in Aquarius and this is a start. The problem I feel that you are facing is that even though he was born under the warm Cancer sign he has a few elements in his chart that tell me he is not going to want to settle down at a young age. If for some reason he does I fear it won't be lasting. He is not always honest with himself or with his partners and this can lead to problems. You are best to remain friends for now. He is going through changes this summer as well as throughout next year and it would be sad if you jumped into a hot intimate relationship only to lose the friendship that you both enjoy. He is going to have to be the one to make the move and if he should do so especially over the course of the next year I think that it will end in disappointment. As for you, you are in a high cycle where love is concerned until the end of January. Therefore, don't miss out on opportunities with other potential partners because you only have eyes for your friend. Get out and meet like-minded people. You match up to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Capricorn and Pisces.
