Dear Eugenia,

I am in love with a guy that 'fired' me and dumped me all in the same day. He was attempting to teach me how to drive as a trucker. We remained friends for 2 weeks. I am trying to get into a truck driving school, I asked him if I could borrow one of his vehicles, the school is out of state and I have no vehicle of my own. He is so boiling mad and fuming that I even asked that question! He is not my friend anymore, he says, that I was using him, which I was not. But yet, he would like to know how I am doing in school, and also said that he is still quite fond of me. He will not even consider any kind of friendship with me until after he is over being mad at me. He wants no contact from me, but said to email him or call him when I am in school. He said that after I am in school, we would take it from there. Am I getting mixed signals or what? We were together for 5 weeks on the road; not understanding how you can fire someone you weren't even paying.....I have no idea how long it will take him to get over being mad at me; or if there is a chance of winning back his friendship. I was born on 6/22/60 at 10:32 am. He was born 9/8/61. Do I hold any hope of ever regaining his friendship and maybe a relationship again? Thank you.

The comparison certainly had some hot connections. It is apparent that emotionally and physically you do hook up but mentally there will be problems. Arguments and misunderstandings can be expected. I believe that this could turn out to be one of those love/hate relationships where you can't live with or without the other person. Back up, slow down and start all over. When you finish your trucker's course contact him and try to keep everything open, honest and amiable. If you can do so you may stand a chance at making this one work. If you find that it's just too difficult don't despair. You will be in a high cycle for love next summer. Article: Emotionally Starved

Dear Eugenia,

This is the second time I write to you. Your reply is very important to me. Please take some time to help me. You may save one life and I'll be very grateful.

I feel bad every day. My eyes have some problems. The doctor said that I had to take medicine for the rest of my life or I will become blind one day. I am really afraid that that day would come. I don't want to be fed by my parents for my whole life but I don't have any skills for living. I am still studying in school. I always thought that if I were blind, the things I learn from school would be meaningless to me. In order not to make my parents worry, I always pretend that I am all right. In fact, deep in my heart, I am sad and even thought of committing suicide. I know my parents only love their son and do not really care for me. Since I was a child, I have felt lonely and keep all the tears to myself.

Recently, I have been interested in a newly emerged religion, which gives me the courage to face my future. But this religion is not widely accepted, at least, my parents object to it. I also wonder whether it is cheating people or not. I didn't have any good friends in the past and don't even have a friend now. I don't know what to do. I sometimes think that there is no difference whether I am here or not. No one cares about me. I don't want to carry on my life like that. I want some changes or breakthrough. I do see some chronic health problems in your chart however it is apparent that poor diagnosis may also be present and if this is the case I urge you to get a second opinion. I believe that at this particular time you should be careful regarding your religious choices as it is evident that the group that you are dealing with does have some underhanded business or hidden agenda going on. If you believe in the concept that this group is preaching and you feel that it is benefiting you that's great however don't be too quick to give financially. A good religious group will only ask its members to donate what they can rightfully afford. Although your chart does indicate that you are emotionally starved it is not the case that your parents don't love you. I believe that you have difficulty showing your emotions and that you tend to keep a great deal to yourself. If you don't share your feelings and thoughts with your parents you can't expect them to read your mind. It's time to open up and let them know how you feel. Article: Forget Him?

Dear Eugenia,

I hope you will answer my letter. I beg you to. There is a man I have been seeing for 9 months. He works at the same office but in a different department. The problem is that he is still married. He keeps on extending the date to separate from his wife saying he has to do it because of his kids. I do understand his situation, but sometimes I feel like I am getting used unintentionally. I know he wouldn't purposely hurt me. I live alone. And it's so lonely without him. At work he is such a distraction, because I always think about him.

I love him very much, but my life was turned upside down because of him. I am emotionally very unstable. Could you please advice me if I should pursue this any more. Yes you do match up to your Leo friend but he is in a situation that is not healthy for you. I believe that you should back away, change your job if necessary and get on with your life. If he is serious about you and leaving his family he will do so. As for you sitting around and waiting you should stop doing so immediately. Whether you think he is using you or not, he is. Right now he has two women in his life that he is hurting along with his son. You are going through your Saturn return this year and that will make you depressed as well as cause you to reevaluate your situation. This year is a make it or break it period for you. As for him, I would have thought that if he was planning to leave his family he would have done so a couple of years ago. If you continue to wait around for him he will have no desire or need to make the necessary changes. His chart indicates that he is extremely changeable regarding his feelings and his relationships. He is wishy-washy about love and can be a bit of a player. Be careful what you wish for. If he can cheat on his wife and son he will certainly be able to cheat on you.
