I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.

This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,

I am in love with a guy that 'fired' me and dumped me all in the same day. He was attempting to teach me how to drive as a trucker. We remained friends for 2 weeks. I am trying to get into a truck driving school, I asked him if I could borrow one of his vehicles, the school is out of state and I have no vehicle of my own. He is so boiling mad and fuming that I even asked that question! He is not my friend anymore, he says, that I was using him, which I was not. But yet, he would like to know how I am doing in school, and also said that he is still quite fond of me. He will not even consider any kind of friendship with me until after he is over being mad at me. He wants no contact from me, but said to email him or call him when I am in school. He said that after I am in school, we would take it from there. Am I getting mixed signals or what? We were together for 5 weeks on the road; not understanding how you can fire someone you weren't even paying.....I have no idea how long it will take him to get over being mad at me; or if there is a chance of winning back his friendship. I was born on 6/22/60 at 10:32 am. He was born 9/8/61. Do I hold any hope of ever regaining his friendship and maybe a relationship again? Thank you.

The comparison certainly had some hot connections. It is apparent that emotionally and physically you do hook up but mentally there will be problems. Arguments and misunderstandings can be expected. I believe that this could turn out to be one of those love/hate relationships where you can't live with or without the other person. Back up, slow down and start all over. When you finish your trucker's course contact him and try to keep everything open, honest and amiable. If you can do so you may stand a chance at making this one work. If you find that it's just too difficult don't despair. You will be in a high cycle for love next summer. You match up well to those born under the signs Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces.

Dear Eugenia,

I have been reading your advice for many years now and I need your help. I have been working at a job in relatively the same field now for over 20 yrs. I have many fears about leaving and going back to school to study because I don't feel it's the right thing. I keep thinking that I should be my own boss and start a sewing/designing company. I was born June 2,1963 @5:35am. My spouse was born Aug.8, 1962 @7:36pm. I feel he is there to support me most of the time but feel he's secretly jealous of anything I may accomplish beyond what I have so far. I really need to get some clear advise, I know if I have your astrological blessing in whatever I choose, I will succeed beyond my dreams. I was raised in a very strict household where boys were treated with more importance and the girls were expected to learn how to be good, quiet housewives, marry someone that would take care of them. I am not that person, but am still held back by my upbringing. I have so many self-doubts, and feel that I am too old or can't learn. I also don't have the finances to just leave my job and go to school. I just need some guidance. Please help me.

Your chart indicates that you should have signed up for higher education already. Favorable transits will be with you until next summer so if you need to pick up skills in order to pursue your dream get busy. See if you can get the courses you need at night school or through correspondence. That way you can keep your job and you won't feel the financial crunch. Starting your own business is not a bad idea during the last quarter of next year however keep in mind that it is important to support your addiction to whatever your art or dream might be so prepare to work double duty by continuing to hold down your day job while you build your own business on the side. I know this may appear to be overwhelming but that is how most successful people get ahead - by working overtime for a few years. In that way it will be less of a risk. The comparison with your husband is okay and certainly workable. I do not feel so much that he is jealous of your accomplishments but really feeling vulnerable that you may outgrow him if you keep moving up in the world. You must make sure that on top of the heavy workload that you are about to take on that you do not neglect him and that you make him feel as if he is a part of it. My suggestions may sound like a tall order but believe me they can be accomplished. I know first hand because I worked in an unrelated field for seven years as I built up my business. So please don't be daunted by my suggestions - instead embrace them.

Your chart does show some problems with health so don't let yourself get rundown just because you are stretched to the limit you still have to eat, sleep and exercise in order to stay strong enough to follow and complete your goals.

Article: What's With Saturn?

What is your opinion about having Saturn in one's 7th House? I have had such bad luck with love relationships that it feels almost hopeless. Does Saturn have anything to do with it?

Dear Lisa

Having Saturn in your seventh house can bring stability, security and lasting love or it can cause the lack there of. It is usually dependent on the way the rest of your natal planets aspect your natal Saturn as well as how the transiting planets are positioned to your natal Saturn at any given time that will determine which way the pendulum will swing. On the whole your natal chart indicates that you have your natal Saturn opposite your natal Sun, Uranus and Pluto and trine your natal Mars and Neptune. This is not all that bad and certainly wouldn't cause a total lack of romantic opportunity. However, you also have your natal Moon in your seventh squaring your natal Jupiter and opposite your natal Sun, Uranus and Pluto. This to me would be the greater cause of relationships not working out for one reason or another. You are currently in a high cycle regarding relationships but if you aren't getting out and meeting new people it won't happen. You match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces. Part of your problem as well is the build up of planets in Virgo in your first house opposite your seventh house. You tend to be careful in love and are not likely to settle for anyone that doesn't live up to your standard. You are more likely to meet potential partners while traveling, taking educational or interest courses or through friends. Stop being so hard on yourself. There is nothing wrong with waiting for the right person.
