I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I lost someone very dear to me. It's been difficult. I want a permanent change and I made up my mind to move to Las Vegas because of opportunity. Is this a good area of the country for me to reside in? I know that astrology can tell someone if relocation to a specific area can be good or bad because of the planetary influences there. But is it possible for you to see whether or not this area will bring me business opportunities job etc. I presently reside in the northeast. This information would lessen the fear of change I'm facing now. I was born May 24, 1947, at 12:35 PM.

I believe that if you are going to make a long distance move you must do so between now and late summer. Job opportunities are apparent in the fall no matter where you are living. My only concern with your move is that you have been thinking about it too long instead of making the arrangements and following through. If this is really what you want to do start the process. You have a good chart regarding work and making money so I really am not concerned about that. I believe that if you make a move you may make another one late 2005 or in 2006 however this time it will have something to do with a new partner in your life. Life is not over for you and although you lost someone very dear to you that doesn?t mean that you should be alone. You match up to those born under the signs Gemini, Libra and Sagittarius.

This is my 2nd attempt to earn your analysis/insight. Close to 1 year ago, the relationship I had with my fiance began to crumble. Although we had known each other quite well since grade school, we did not become a serious couple until 5/97. My birth info: 3/27/76 at 1:05pm. His birth info: 3/20/76 at about 4:20pm- our breakup began 7/14/00 and he ended our relationship in a letter I got 8/14/00. We were to wed 11/18/00. We don't talk anymore. I am missing many answers as to why our solid relationship failed. It's like he just gave up. I do know he became involved w/ another girl 6/00. I discovered this after our relationship ended. I don't know her birth info, but have learned that their relationship recently ended.
I made a lot of changes after my engagement ended...new location/new job. I'm happy with my new job; esp. since I'm now earning much more money, however money is still tight, as I am trying to pay off my debts (credit cards).
My questions for you involve the outlook of my future. What do you see? My social circle in my new location is lacking. I haven't come close to dating since my engagement ended. This is partially due to me needing to 'heal' and partially due to not finding anyone who would go out with me. I'm thankful for my great job..but what about friends....romance? What do you see? Will my ex-fianc? and I cross paths again, or is there really someone else out there who's my soul mate? Will I succeed financially? I had so many goals that I wanted to have accomplished by now--be married...be debt-free (or close to debt-free) and I haven't accomplished them. Gosh, are things ever going to get better so I can be happy about all aspects of my life? I'm losing the faith. Please help.

The comparison between you and your ex wasn't that great therefore you should view your situation as a blessing in disguise. I wouldn't however be surprised if you did cross paths again during the course of the next year because both your chart and his indicate people from your past coming back into your lives. This can also mean new romantic ties so please look forward not back. If you get out and involved in worthwhile community groups you will meet some interesting people. Yes you will have to spend a little in order to have some fun or join groups that interest you but it will be worth investing in yourself, your future and meeting potential partners so get on with it. I was born June 10, 1980 at 11 pm. I recently meet a guy (Birth date: 11/07/1983) and we started dating. I think he is a sweetheart but self-conscious because I make more money than he does and I am self-conscious because he is younger then me (Birth date: 06/10/1980). We get along great but the problem is that I have secretly started seeing an old flame (Birth date: 11/21/1980). My old flame is someone I have had a crush on for years even after we broke up. The problem is that my old flame has a girlfriend as well whom he is having problems with. I am confused now on what to do. I like the new guy but I think I am curious to see if there is still something with my old flame. I am confused on whether I should stay with the new guy or dump him for my old flame and see if there is more to it then just friends. Please help.

This is a bit of a no win situation. Both comparisons are very different however they both show signs of sorrow as well. You have a tremendous number of planetary connections between your chart and that of your younger Scorpio friend but I believe that being the Gemini that you are you will not be able to leave well enough alone causing an insatiable urge to find out if you still have something going on with your ex Scorpio. This in turn will cause sorrow with your young Scorpio - he will not take lightly to you engaging in any relationship be it platonic or not with your ex. Please don't lose sight of what was wrong with your relationship with your ex Scorpio the first time around and why you aren't still together. The same problems will crop up time and time again. Your young Scorpio has his natal Venus in the sign Virgo so age shouldn't be a problem considering he probably acts quite mature when it comes to love. You have your natal Venus in Gemini and that often causes you to be fickle and flirtatious when it comes to romance. Your ex has his natal Venus in the sign Libra and although he can be very charming etc. he can also be as fickle and flirtatious as you. All this being said I do believe that you should probably set your young Scorpio free before you really hurt him. Give yourself time to rediscover your old partner and prepare to move on to new potential partners around the end of the summer or early fall of this year.
