I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I lost someone very dear to me. It's been difficult. I want a permanent change and I made up my mind to move to Las Vegas because of opportunity. Is this a good area of the country for me to reside in? I know that astrology can tell someone if relocation to a specific area can be good or bad because of the planetary influences there. But is it possible for you to see whether or not this area will bring me business opportunities job etc. I presently reside in the northeast. This information would lessen the fear of change I'm facing now. I was born May 24, 1947, at 12:35 PM.

I believe that if you are going to make a long distance move you must do so between now and late summer. Job opportunities are apparent in the fall no matter where you are living. My only concern with your move is that you have been thinking about it too long instead of making the arrangements and following through. If this is really what you want to do start the process. You have a good chart regarding work and making money so I really am not concerned about that. I believe that if you make a move you may make another one late 2005 or in 2006 however this time it will have something to do with a new partner in your life. Life is not over for you and although you lost someone very dear to you that doesn?t mean that you should be alone. You match up to those born under the signs Gemini, Libra and Sagittarius.

I have written to you a few times. I hope you can tell me what to do. I lost my mom on Nov. 13, 2000. I am very lost and lonely. I don't want to do anything but sleep. I have lived with my 3 year-olds father for 4 years. We don't get along very well. He is drinking a lot and also thinks I should be over the death of my mom already. He has two healthy parents, so he doesn't know what it is like. My dad was only given 1 to 3 months to live last week, because of cancer. My boyfriend (if that is what you call him) says I can pull myself out of this or die right along with them. He is no support to me. I know he is seeing someone else, but at this point I don't care. I just need some advice on what to do with the way I feel about life. I was born May 26, 1963, at 12 PM.

I can tell by the transits moving through your personal houses in your chart that you are at a turning point in your life regarding your partner. I feel that it is time to start thinking about the best way to make yours and your child's life better. You did not submit the birth data of either your child or the man you're living with therefore I can not explain his lack of support. My guess is that he can't face death himself therefore he is not able to justify the kind of loss that you are experiencing. It hasn't been very long since your mother died and with your father in the shape that he is in it must be extremely painful for you. You do however for the sake of your child have to handle your situation bravely. You should probably consider making a move in a positive direction (possibly away from your boyfriend) late spring or you should start talking to him about his insensitivity and telling him you need greater support and love if he expects you and your child to stay with him. Your depression and grieving you are experiencing will end but for now it is what you need in order to get through this most difficult period in your life. I appear to be having the lowest period of my lifetime. I'm very afraid, and have even considered suicide. I know many things happening in my life right now are due to planet positions, etc. But I also realize I cannot continue as I'm. My birthday is Feb 5, 1954 @ 12:16am. These are the issues I'm facing. I'm losing my home after a two-year separation from my husband. His BD is 8-23-58. My home is being foreclosed on Jul 2 and sold at public auction, I'm disabled and live on a very small monthly amount. I don't even have an idea how I will find a place to stay. My youngest sister, whom I'm closer than close to, was diagnosed with cancer in January. Her birth date 7-10-61. They tell me she has very little time, maybe only months, she is the mother of three small children, whom I will end up responsible for if she dies, I'm broken hearted over losing my home, my cherished sister with the possibility of no way to care for her children. Is there any chance of funds coming to me in the future, or a possible way of keeping my home or finding another? My sister has no life insurance, and considering the way my future appears at the moment, killing myself seems the only solution. I'm now a burden in life, and I see no way out, please understand this is not a joke, its all real, and I'm beyond desperate.

It's always darkest before the dawn. You have three beautiful children who need you desperately. These children will bring you joy, love and certainly a reason to continue on. I have always been a big believer in nature's way. For as bad as it gets it will get equally as good. You will receive help. It will be through money that you don't work for. A hidden asset or funds that come in to you because of the situation you face. Perhaps one of our readers will donate to your cause. Moving out of your house may be the best thing that happens to you. I suggest that you start by moving in with your sister who could certainly use your support right now as well as your love. You will find that your financial solutions will clear up considerably over the next two years. Your life will stabilize and through loss will come gain. You must have faith and believe in the fact that others will come to your rescue. You have had some pretty difficult planetary transits moving through your chart indeed but you will overcome and move on as there are just as many that are favorable.
