I lost someone very dear to me. It's been difficult. I want a permanent change and I made up my mind to move to Las Vegas because of opportunity. Is this a good area of the country for me to reside in? I know that astrology can tell someone if relocation to a specific area can be good or bad because of the planetary influences there. But is it possible for you to see whether or not this area will bring me business opportunities job etc. I presently reside in the northeast. I believe that if you are going to make a long distance move you must do so between now and late summer. Job opportunities are apparent in the fall no matter where you are living. My only concern with your move is that you have been thinking about it too long instead of making the arrangements and following through. If this is really what you want to do start the process. You have a good chart regarding work and making money so I really am not concerned about that. I believe that if you make a move you may make another one late 2005 or in 2006 however this time it will have something to do with a new partner in your life. Life is not over for you and although you lost someone very dear to you that doesn?t mean that you should be alone. You match up to those born under the signs Gemini, Libra and Sagittarius.

I have had my chart done by a respected astrologer. She determined that I was a Virgo with Leo Rising. This pairing, along with some propitious planets, induced her to say that I have a flair for communication, writing, and a gift for gab. Most would agree with that. In my life, I have been involved with scientific research and law, however I still yearn for a bohemian lifestyle in publishing and the producing of film. Do you see that happening in midlife as my astrologer did? With Jupiter transiting over my natal Jupiter and then Ascendant, I would think things look favorable. The astrologist also said that because my Venus and Saturn are conjunct, I was relatively unlucky in matters of family and love. You are a Virgo by Sun Sign only and yes your Sun does fall in your third house of communications but it is only favorably aspected to your Jupiter and Uranus in your twelfth house which doesn't usually allow the communications to come through in a professional manner. With regard to working in research and with law the twelfth house does play a role, as does medical research, working with institutions etc. I believe that your writing and publishing is more of a hobby than a moneymaker but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't try nor does it mean that you can't get somewhere with it if you are willing to put in the 300 percent and long hours it takes to actually live that type of lifestyle. With Jupiter moving through your twelfth house you should have an opportunity to make some career moves however as it hits your ascendant that is usually an indication that you can gain weight as well as blow situations out of proportion. Keep in mind that your natal Uranus and Jupiter are square your natal Neptune and this can cause you to be disillusioned about what you do. Regarding love your Venus was in a favorable position last year however if you didn't get out and meet people you may have missed the opportunity. Although the Saturn Venus conjunction can cause problems in love it is also well aspected to your North and South Node and this usually has a favorable affect on this conjunction. You should always look to the ruler of the seventh house regarding partnerships especially in a case like yours where there is no planet in that house. The ruler is Uranus in your case and you have your natal Uranus in Cancer conjunct Jupiter sextile to your natal Sun and square your natal Neptune. I really would like some advice on how to get ahead in life and to really let myself shine. I seem to always be putting others objectives before my own but feel that I?m shooting myself in the foot and not letting myself reach my best (which I feel could be something great). My two main important queries are with my career and love. I've studied acting through university and just moved countries from Australia to the United Kingdom after graduating. Since then my career path has changed from acting to singing/songwriting and it has really lit a 'flame in my belly'. My main concern is how to get ahead by using my talents and what future trends may be hindering or helping me astrologically.? My second is love, which always seems to be somewhat of a minefield for me - e.g. I like people who don't like me or there is no chance with and keep going back convincing myself there is 'something' there - plus not being able to be myself with them, or friends I care about turn out to like me (and I don't in that way) and in some instances I've surrendered to them to not lose them. The other thing is my sexuality is quite open-minded which is quite confusing in itself.
At the moment I?m in a really positive place feeling like I?m on the verge of something brilliant - but I?m just not sure how I?m going to get there. You are in a high cycle where your career is concerned until the fall of this year so you have no time to waste. You must be approaching the record publishing companies and promoting and performing as much as you can between now and the fall ? and if that means putting in a lot of time and doing freebies so be it. I wouldn?t worry too much about relationships right now. It is apparent that come August you will be in a much better position to meet someone more to your liking. Part of your problem has been the fact that you were born with a Venus Saturn square in your chart in an area that deals with relationships and your status in society with regard to partnerships. This can make it awkward for you to feel at ease with someone during the early stages of your relationship making it difficult to make the kind of impression that will seal the deal. I believe that you are coming into your own in that regard and during the latter part of this year and most of next you will meet people who are more inclined to see you for whom you are and recognize your talents as well. During that period you should be able to reach out and get the help and favors required to get ahead as well as meet potential partners both in the industry as well as at a personal level.
