We've all experienced times of conflict and personal struggle. Times when the assistance and advice of a friend always seemed to lend comfort and ease the burden. Have you ever wondered what it would be like if that friend was one of the world's most revered astrologers, with over 25 years of experience?

I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Hi Eugenia
I really would like some advice on how to get ahead in life and to really let myself shine. I seem to always be putting others objectives before my own but feel that I?m shooting myself in the foot and not letting myself reach my best (which I feel could be something great). My two main important queries are with my career and love. I've studied acting through university and just moved countries from Australia to the United Kingdom after graduating. Since then my career path has changed from acting to singing/songwriting and it has really lit a 'flame in my belly'. My main concern is how to get ahead by using my talents and what future trends may be hindering or helping me astrologically.? My second is love, which always seems to be somewhat of a minefield for me - e.g. I like people who don't like me or there is no chance with and keep going back convincing myself there is 'something' there - plus not being able to be myself with them, or friends I care about turn out to like me (and I don't in that way) and in some instances I've surrendered to them to not lose them. The other thing is my sexuality is quite open-minded which is quite confusing in itself.
At the moment I?m in a really positive place feeling like I?m on the verge of something brilliant - but I?m just not sure how I?m going to get there. Motivation hasn't always been my strongest attribute - I'm better at ambition and imagination. Any help Eugenia is greatly appreciated! I was born February 10, 1982, at 8:09 AM.

Hi Aquarius
You are in a high cycle where your career is concerned until the fall of this year so you have no time to waste. You must be approaching the record publishing companies and promoting and performing as much as you can between now and the fall ? and if that means putting in a lot of time and doing freebies so be it. I wouldn?t worry too much about relationships right now. It is apparent that come August you will be in a much better position to meet someone more to your liking. Part of your problem has been the fact that you were born with a Venus Saturn square in your chart in an area that deals with relationships and your status in society with regard to partnerships. This can make it awkward for you to feel at ease with someone during the early stages of your relationship making it difficult to make the kind of impression that will seal the deal. I believe that you are coming into your own in that regard and during the latter part of this year and most of next you will meet people who are more inclined to see you for whom you are and recognize your talents as well. During that period you should be able to reach out and get the help and favors required to get ahead as well as meet potential partners both in the industry as well as at a personal level. Hang in there my friend you are young and you have some wonderful transits coming your way that should help you solve the problems you?ve been facing in the past as well as help you make headway in an industry that is very competitive.

Dear Ms. Last,
I read the letters and the answers and am always very impressed by you. I was born on 1/12/51 at 5:35 p.m. Here is my dilemma. Things are not going well at work right now and I have a feeling that my supervisor is trying to force me to quit. I have had a couple of job offers, one involving a move. At my age changing jobs and moving is very scary. I am so depressed right now and do not know what to do. Can you help me decide if changing jobs or moving would be a good thing or should I hang in at work and hope things will get better. I don't want to make the wrong decision. Thank you so much for your time.
In a quandary
Dear In a Quandary
I can understand your reluctance to move especially if you have friends and family around you but if you are basically alone I feel that it may be to your benefit. You didn?t mention how distant a move it might be and that would make a difference, if it is a move made from one state to another or further the change could actually be quite good for you. Making a move from one company to another or one part of town to another will not be as favorable. Regarding your job prospects it is apparent that whatever you decide to do things will be a little unnerving. I feel that opportunities are present and that whether you stay or go improvements are likely to unfold in the short term. Your depression stems from transiting Saturn moving toward your ascendant and opposite your natal Mercury and squaring your natal Saturn and Neptune. This has caused confusion as well as uncertainties about your future. Having the sign Cancer rising it is difficult for you to pick up and move or to even accept change but sometimes that?s exactly what?s required in order to move into the next phase of your life. It?s never all good ? life doesn?t work that way but it should be interesting to say the least so consider your options and research the possibility of making a move.

Hi Eugenia!
I know you are busy, but I was just wondering if you were going to be able to answer my e-mails concerning the future for my ex-boyfriend and me. I don't really want to get into the details again as it would take too long, but I have written to you at least twice before, maybe 3 times, explaining our situation and my dilemma and asking for your advice. As it stands now, we are not together and haven't been since last October. We haven't spoken since January 9th, at which time he was still not willing to even commit to me to the extent that he had before we split up in September of 2003. And at that time, his extent of commitment was less than I could accept, which is why I moved out. The last time we spoke, I told him for the millionth time not to call me until he was serious about trying to make things work between us because it hurts too much. Although as I said, I had told him this before to no avail, this time it must have sunk in because we haven't spoken since. I work in a convenience store, and I did see him drive thru the parking lot one day, and he has been in the store twice when I wasn't there. He also has called my house 3 or 4 times and hung up without leaving a message. And once he called while I wasn't home and left a message saying, "he just wanted to hear my voice". Please Eugenia, can you tell me what you see happening for us in the future? I still love him and am so in love with him. I miss him like crazy and a day doesn't go by that I don't think about him. Do you see us getting back together in the future? I feel like he's my soul mate, and he says the same about me. Do you think that maybe if we are apart for a while he may learn to appreciate me and the relationship we had together, or do you think it's pretty much a lost cause? Please help Eugenia, I feel so confused. I was born February 16, 1963 at 12:10 p.m. in Dayton, Ohio and Roger was born December 21, 1958 at 1:15 p.m. in San Bernardino, California.
Thanks,
Sandy
Hi Sandy
You do match up to your Sagittarius mate quite well and it's a shame that you aren't together however I believe that it is a commitment problem on his part. If you have followed my work you are aware of the number of times I have mentioned that Sagittarius is the one sign that has a terrible time with commitment. They are the born bachelors of the zodiac and no matter how much they love someone the thought of being confined by or committed to someone is quite horrifying. I do believe that this man loves you and that he isn't likely to find someone that he has as great a comparison with but yikes trying to get him to commit may take a lifetime. There is one hope however and that is that beginning this Summer the planet Saturn is moving into the sign Leo for approximately two and a half years and during that time he just might feel a little more comfortable with the whole settling down thing. For you the best thing to do is not to push commitment but to enjoy this man for who he is. After all that's who you fell in love with. I'm not saying that you should put up with poor behavior or not being treated well but as long as he is doing his part I don't think I would worry so much about signing a piece of paper or saying your vows. All too many times I have seen couples live together for a number of years and when the one finally convinces the other to do the legal trip down the aisle it often leads to a complete break down of the relationship within a year or two after finally getting married. Reevaluate what you really want out of this relationship - the man himself or his vow to never leave you. Please keep in mind that there are no guarantees even if you do tie the knot.
