For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Although I have been out of the dating scene for some time, I'm ready to get back in. As has happened in the past, a much younger man has expressed an interest in me. I am quite attracted to him, but I found myself so wrapped up in uncertainty about his motives (I just couldn't believe he was interested in someone my age)that I overanalyzed the situation and ended up not even being able to be hospitable the one time we got together (at least in hindsight I think I wasn't). We do see each other for professional reasons quite regularly and I've managed, at least in that arena, to keep things light and friendly. Is it possible he is actually interested? I'm afraid of looking like an old fool, but would really like to dump this attitude. I was born July 9, 1950 at 8:30 pm.

You didn?t mention when your friend was born so I really can?t tell you what his intentions are. I do believe however that you attract people who are much younger or much older and that you do better with partners who have an age difference than you do with those born too close to the year you were born. The trend older woman younger man has been growing increasing over the past decade and I believe that you really can?t make age a deciding factor as to whether you date someone or not. You match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces. You are coming into a high cycle regarding love this fall that will remain with you for the better part of a year. I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. You have been experiencing Saturn moving through your first house and that can limit opportunities however I believe that as Saturn moves into the later degrees of the sign Gemini it should help you where work is concerned. It is apparent that you can however be your own worst enemy when it comes to interviews etc. You should be working in an environment that is either an institution, government agency, bank, hospital etc. If you need to pick up additional knowledge you may consider going through the government work programs and pick up a skill that will help you land a job in the medical field. Such as a technician or lab analyst. Romantically you will be in a high cycle next summer so for now focus on work, learning new skills and getting into the work force. You will probably meet someone special through the job you land.
