I have been dating my boyfriend for 4 yrs now. He wants me to move in with him...and I don't want to. We see each other 1-2 days a week and I am happy with the way things are right now. I was married for 25 yrs before my divorce and my kids are now grown and I like living by myself. My fear is that my boyfriend will leave me soon...if I don't give in and move in with him. He has been very understanding but I don't know how much longer I can keep him from asking the big questions of why?? I wonder lately if maybe he is not the right man for me. I am at a very strange point in my life, which feels very chaotic--sometimes as though it is moving in a positive direction, and sometimes as though it is very stagnant.
I am entering my third year of university, studying art, art history, and German. I'm at a point at which I really need to figure out what it is I want to do long-term. I feel pressure from my family to make this decision (mainly on my mother's side, though my mother and I are almost entirely out-of-touch, as she is with her sister and parents). I also feel internal pressure, as though I may feel more confident and clear-headed if I can make a commitment and develop some sort of plan to pursue my education and career beyond this point. Basically, I am feeling directionless, confused, and as though I have no solid ground to fall back on. I worry a lot about my mother, but cannot stay in contact with her, as she is experiencing a time of sever financial difficulties and, as a result, has no phone line, disallowing contact by phone or email. (She was born August 11, 1950.) All I can say about my desires for the future is that I want to be involved in art --the only thing that is truly fulfilling for me. I would love to be a professional artist, but that is risky and I do not want to put myself into a situation of financial despair. I have seen both of my parents struggle throughout my entire life thus far.
In addition to these feelings, I am having a difficult time romantically. I have been seeing a man (born February 6th, 1977) for about 6 months. Though we connect very well intellectually, we are both very busy. I have a hectic work, school and homework schedule, while he is very social and constantly has plans to go out with friends, which he views as obligations. He therefore has little time to spend with me during the time I actually have free and is frustrated that I never want to go out and party with him and his friends. I think that, due to our different lifestyles, we may not be able to reconcile this, though I care for him very much and when we are together, he seems to feel the same way. My luck with men isn't too good and upon our initially getting together, I was excited to finally meet someone I could connect with, who was intelligent, observant, and who seemed to share so many interests.
Do you see any end to the constant stress, chaos and frustration resulting from my present life and relationships, as well as my attempting to sort out my future endeavors?

You are a strong Libra. All your natal planets in that sign are in an area of your chart that deals with higher education, travel, philosophy, immigration and different cultures. That being said it isn't surprising that you are waffling about your future and your educational pursuits. I believe however that you must get on with it and finish whatever you have already begun. Your chart indicates that you should be in school or at least in a learning environment for the next two years although I do believe that you will be able to pick up work in the field of your choice beginning next year. This could lead to an apprenticeship, learning on the job or working and continuing your education. I believe that it is important to follow your dream however it is also necessary to support your addiction to your art/dream/etc. You are still young and have time. I was born in 1978/7/8 at 7:00am, and am now working in Beijing. I am not doing the profession that I studied. I have to start all over again. Last August, when I just came to Beijing, my friend who came here with me died. I feel very sad. I always have the feeling that I should take some responsibility for her death because I brought her to Beijing. If I did not recommend her to the job, she would not come to Beijing and would not die. I am living in the city alone. I have no good friend here, doing something that I am not familiar with, learning new things from the very beginning and earning a very low salary. I don't know whether coming to Beijing has been the right choice. I want to change my job but I am not sure whether the new job requires me to learn new things from the very beginning. I don't even know whether I should get a new job relating to my profession or should I stay in this trading company invested by foreign capital. I really don't know where to go. You must not blame yourself for your friend's untimely death. I believe that we all have a beginning and an end. That nothing can change those two parameters in life. There was nothing you did to cause your friends death nor could have done anything to prevent it. As for you, it's time to get on with your life and put the past behind you. You are in a high cycle regarding relationships, meeting people through the organizations or clubs you join, socializing and putting your creative abilities to work for you. This is a period that you should be expanding your circle of friends. Regarding your work you will not be able to rely on others. You will have to work hard in order to get ahead but if you do it will pay off. The confusion in your chart is evident, especially regarding your future career prospects but if you just continue to work hard eventually this will pass and accomplishment will be yours. Regarding where you live it would be better to consider a move during the second half of this year or the first half of next, as for right now you are better to stay where you are. Stop being so hard on yourself and living in the past. Life is for the living, not the dead. Get out, meet people and move on.
