I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.

For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,

Thank you for providing this service for self-exploration. These days my computer is on auto pilot to your I Ching feature; although he has proven insightful, I would like the chance of experiencing the human element of your web site.Here goes.... My husband and I are both Aries, and have totally different personality traits. I was born 24/03/1960, at 2 AM. My husband birth date is 22/03/1961, I do not know his time of birth. I am energetic, motivated, outgoing, competitive; he is passive, laid back, doesn't like change. When we were married in 1981, we moved over 1000 miles away from our birthplace and families. Since 1981 to now, we have experienced a lot of life, from our youngest son being diagnosed with Cancer, to loosing my father. Right now, we are in a position to re-evaluate our career paths, and move closer to home. In the small northern community that we live in, the health and education systems are in shambles. We decided last March to let our eldest son have the opportunity to go to a boarding school. He loved it, and will be returning this September. For me, it is very hard to have my 15-year-old son living away from home. I have taken the initiative of "doing" a resume for my husband and have sent it out to several places... and telling him after the fact. He is now getting responses for interviews. You see, the company that he works for is re-evaluating their economic viability, and have closed down operations for one year, while still maintaining all staffing levels. We are in limbo. He came home from work the other night, and said there was a job posting up for a job he would really like to apply for at this "Limbo Company", and that he liked to be "comfortable". I need change, and to be with my family... Does this mean DIVORCE COURT!!!

Just because you are born under the same sun sign does not mean that you have to be alike. A personalized chart is like your thumbprint. There are several differences that stand out between you and your husband's charts even without having his birth time. I wouldn't be surprised however if he were born around the noon hour giving him a Cancer ascendant. If this is the case I suspect that he will be moving along with you and not staying put. This could be because he gets an interesting offer from one of the companies you sent his resume to or because he does not get the job at the Limbo Company. You match up too well to have divorce enter the picture, as I'm sure you are well aware. Changes are apparent and the opportunity to make a move looks good. I'd be putting your house on the market if you own it or looking for a place to live closer to your birth place come October with hopes of selling your house or making your move sometime before the end of the year.

I have been a creative person all my life and have a career as a Graphic Artist, but over the past few years my mind began to flow over with ideas for film and television projects. I acted in a friend's short film and have been teaching myself the craft of writing stories for a few years now. I am torn because my identity has always been as a Graphic Artist, but I see myself as a writer. Do you see anything in my chart that would support my making a career change in the near future?

Yes I do see career change. It has actually been in your chart since the spring of 2003 and isn't about to move off until the end of this decade so get used to it. Your chart does indicate that you are highly creative and should work in a field that allows you to explore many different creative venues. In this day and age people change career direction more often and so you shouldn't be so worried about it. You can always fall back on graphic design or even keep working in that field while you delve into the performing arts and writing. My concern with writing is that although you do have your natal Mercury well aspected to your natal Pluto it does fall in an area of your chart that can sometimes make it difficult for you to get your work (writing) into the mainstream where it can be profitable for you. On the other hand you also have quite a build up of planets in an area of your chart that deals with communication and publishing so I believe that with a little extra effort and good timing you may be able to push your work into the hands of someone who can help you get ahead. You have been going through a transit that can help you with this the past couple of years and you did manage to work in the film and television industry during that time however that transit has moved on for now. Another transit similar will activate again in about four years but that doesn't mean you shouldn't start working in that direction now. After all the more prep work or writing you aspire to between now and that time the more polished your work will be as well as the more sellable when that transit moves into your chart. My suggestion to you is to continue your current work and do your writing on the side with your goal being to start trying to sell it in 2008/2009.

Article: Time and Space

Dear Eugenia,

I am not sure if you will answer this question, but I will try anyway. I was born February 24, 1963, at 12:07 PM. I hope this will help you come to a conclusion. I recently lost my loving husband of 35 years of age to liver cancer, we were only married one year and 3 months before his death. At this time, I don't know which way my life is heading; I am lost, and very lonely. I miss him with all my heart; he truly was my soul mate. I was married before for 17 years to a Scorpion, this man is now back in my life. He says that he has changed, some things yes, he has others, no he hasn't. My question is, should I try and make this past relationship with my ex husband work, or move on? We have three wonderful children together, and he has helped me through some of the emotional problems I have had to deal with since my husband's death. I am confused about him, and don't feel the attraction as I once did. Will I ever find that loving man again in this lifetime, that I had with my great loss. My late husband, taught me many things about how a women should be treated, do I need to settle for less? I don't want to be alone the rest of my life. I also am worried about my late husbands father. This man lost his only son, and I care about him deeply, will he be ok? He says that I am the only thing he has left in this life, who was a part of his son's life. So, I do feel worried and concerned. As for my late husbands mother, she blames his father and me, for his death. Never did she come to see him in the hospital to the very last few days of his life. I was by his bedside 24-7, I was his nurse and his loving wife, until he took his last breath. So, why is she blaming me? This causes me great heartache also. No one can cause someone to get cancer. I don't understand why I had to loose the only man that I loved so deeply. Your time is greatly appreciated.

You are going through a very confusing period in your life and you need some time and space to sort out your feelings. You don't have to settle for anything or anyone until you are good and ready. I believe that if you ask your ex-husband to be your friend, not your lover that you will feel much better about the connection. As for a new love, you will be in a much better frame of mind and you will also be in a high cycle regarding love and romance next year.
