I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Thank you for providing this service for self-exploration. These days my computer is on auto pilot to your I Ching feature; although he has proven insightful, I would like the chance of experiencing the human element of your web site.Here goes.... My husband and I are both Aries, and have totally different personality traits. I was born 24/03/1960, at 2 AM. My husband birth date is 22/03/1961, I do not know his time of birth. I am energetic, motivated, outgoing, competitive; he is passive, laid back, doesn't like change. When we were married in 1981, we moved over 1000 miles away from our birthplace and families. Since 1981 to now, we have experienced a lot of life, from our youngest son being diagnosed with Cancer, to loosing my father. Right now, we are in a position to re-evaluate our career paths, and move closer to home. In the small northern community that we live in, the health and education systems are in shambles. We decided last March to let our eldest son have the opportunity to go to a boarding school. He loved it, and will be returning this September. For me, it is very hard to have my 15-year-old son living away from home. I have taken the initiative of "doing" a resume for my husband and have sent it out to several places... and telling him after the fact. He is now getting responses for interviews. You see, the company that he works for is re-evaluating their economic viability, and have closed down operations for one year, while still maintaining all staffing levels. We are in limbo. He came home from work the other night, and said there was a job posting up for a job he would really like to apply for at this "Limbo Company", and that he liked to be "comfortable". I need change, and to be with my family... Does this mean DIVORCE COURT!!!

Just because you are born under the same sun sign does not mean that you have to be alike. A personalized chart is like your thumbprint. There are several differences that stand out between you and your husband's charts even without having his birth time. I wouldn't be surprised however if he were born around the noon hour giving him a Cancer ascendant. If this is the case I suspect that he will be moving along with you and not staying put. This could be because he gets an interesting offer from one of the companies you sent his resume to or because he does not get the job at the Limbo Company. You match up too well to have divorce enter the picture, as I'm sure you are well aware. Changes are apparent and the opportunity to make a move looks good. I'd be putting your house on the market if you own it or looking for a place to live closer to your birth place come October with hopes of selling your house or making your move sometime before the end of the year.

I really enjoy your column and find your replies eloquent and very interesting. I've written in before, and haven't gotten a response, so I figured I'd try again. I am in a strange situation right now. I've had an eating disorder for the past 3 years of my life, and just recently, got put into the hospital due to complications from the severity of it. I know what I'm doing is wrong, and I'm trying to change, but it seems like every attempt is half-hearted at best. I've read in several different books that individuals born on my DOB (March 9, 1985, @ 1:45AM) show a pattern of substance abuse and health problems. The year just seems to be getting worse and worse and I was wondering what my chart holds for the upcoming school year. I think I put up a front and have a difficult time letting others get close, in fear that I will somehow lose control of everything in my life. Will my life and relationships with others improve at all? Thank you for your time.

You aren't a very strong Pisces only having your natal Sun in that sign. Your chart is predominantly Aries with your natal Mercury, Venus and Mars in that sign and Scorpio with your natal Saturn and Pluto in that sign. Your recent jaunt to the hospital does show up and it appears that if you don't use your Scorpio discipline to get back on track that you will end up in hospital again over the course of the next year. I urge you to take your health concerns seriously and stabilize your mental outlook before you start to worry about relationships. You have to learn to love yourself first. Your chart indicates that you have so much to work with but with your natal Neptune adversely aspecting your natal Mercury it is apparent that you are not always honest with yourself and this can lead to problems dealing with denial etc. However with your natal Mercury favorably positioned to your natal Jupiter it should help you to feel better about yourself. Problems with home, family or friends may occur if you don't take better care of yourself. It is obvious that you have people around you who care and who may be getting annoyed with the way you are handling your life. You are bright, creative and could help others with similar problems. You will probably be more attracted to people or partners who are older or younger and possibly at this stage of your life you aren't really meeting a wide enough variety of people. It is important for you to get focused and to keep active as well as to get your eating disorder sorted out once and for all. You are the master of your own destiny and no one else can make the adjustments for you. I believe that you have what it takes to change your life but the most difficult part is taking the first step. If you don't get started your educational pursuits will suffer over the course of the next couple of years, however if you can manage to pull things together you have the potential to do quite well. This is my first time to do this and I'm a little nervous. I recently was in a three-year relationship with a gentleman born Nov.17, 1950, no birth time, I was born February 23, 1948, at 7:04 AM. We have known each other for years but each of us married and went out separate ways. He was married for 27 years and then got divorced, not his choice. He found me through my brother and came to see me the day he received his divorce papers and wanted me to read the papers for advice. Having been through a divorce I was very familiar with the situation and I helped him. Since that day we became friends again and talk nearly everyday. As time we on we became very close and I being a fool fell madly in love with this wonderful man. We lived together for three years. On April 12, 2003 he told me I needed to move out because he needed some time and space between us to think things out. He had never really gotten over his ex wife and was hoping she would try to come back. Several people told him as long as I was living with him she would never come back, so he ask me to leave. Well, to make a long story short she never intended to come back, it was wishful hoping on his part. After I left, we began seeing each other a few days a week and talked nearly everyday but he didn't really want to pursue out relationship as it was. We had a wonderful relationship; we were best friends, lovers and did everything together. He told me he was happy until everyone was telling him his ex wanted to come back and that confused him. I was so hurt. Now he is with someone four years younger and not even acting like the same person. Our last date was June 6, 2003 and his first date her was June 7, 2003 and they have been inseparable ever since. He moved into her home on June 18, 2003 and has no real contact with me since. His was a great family man with his children and grandchildren and now has moved out of his house and has really nothing to do with them. The woman he is with has her own successful business and has money. He has told several of our friends that he thinks the world of me and what a wonderful person I am. He will always love me but not be in love with me. The few time I have seen him, such as when I went to get me things from his home he was all over me (hugging & kissing). I have not heard from him for two weeks and never will. He is with this woman night and day, when he was on vacation he would even go to her work so she would not have contact with other people without him. He tells our friends he has a cute little rich girlfriend now. What do I do, I'm trying to get on with my life, I now have a good job but I am miserable without him. They have nothing in common. Quite the situation you are experiencing. You didn't tell me his new girlfriends birth date so I don't know how well they match up but I can tell you that your comparison with him really wasn't very good. You have a great chart however especially where your work is concerned and you can find love with the right person but you have to make your choices when it comes to love for the right reason. This man was on the rebound when you met him.
