I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.

For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,

Thank you for providing this service for self-exploration. These days my computer is on auto pilot to your I Ching feature; although he has proven insightful, I would like the chance of experiencing the human element of your web site.Here goes.... My husband and I are both Aries, and have totally different personality traits. I was born 24/03/1960, at 2 AM. My husband birth date is 22/03/1961, I do not know his time of birth. I am energetic, motivated, outgoing, competitive; he is passive, laid back, doesn't like change. When we were married in 1981, we moved over 1000 miles away from our birthplace and families. Since 1981 to now, we have experienced a lot of life, from our youngest son being diagnosed with Cancer, to loosing my father. Right now, we are in a position to re-evaluate our career paths, and move closer to home. In the small northern community that we live in, the health and education systems are in shambles. We decided last March to let our eldest son have the opportunity to go to a boarding school. He loved it, and will be returning this September. For me, it is very hard to have my 15-year-old son living away from home. I have taken the initiative of "doing" a resume for my husband and have sent it out to several places... and telling him after the fact. He is now getting responses for interviews. You see, the company that he works for is re-evaluating their economic viability, and have closed down operations for one year, while still maintaining all staffing levels. We are in limbo. He came home from work the other night, and said there was a job posting up for a job he would really like to apply for at this "Limbo Company", and that he liked to be "comfortable". I need change, and to be with my family... Does this mean DIVORCE COURT!!!

Just because you are born under the same sun sign does not mean that you have to be alike. A personalized chart is like your thumbprint. There are several differences that stand out between you and your husband's charts even without having his birth time. I wouldn't be surprised however if he were born around the noon hour giving him a Cancer ascendant. If this is the case I suspect that he will be moving along with you and not staying put. This could be because he gets an interesting offer from one of the companies you sent his resume to or because he does not get the job at the Limbo Company. You match up too well to have divorce enter the picture, as I'm sure you are well aware. Changes are apparent and the opportunity to make a move looks good. I'd be putting your house on the market if you own it or looking for a place to live closer to your birth place come October with hopes of selling your house or making your move sometime before the end of the year.

Hi Eugenia

I am very involved in a long distance relationship. We talk every day, but, of course, see each other infrequently. We have 3 visits of 2 weeks each planned for this year.?We have started to think about relocating to be together. The question is...which one of us moves?? Also, when should the move be planned for?? We are both in the same business and would work together too, although his business is more established than mine, so it would be easier for me to work into his.? But my family is here, and I love where I live.? Only love could make me leave it.? One more wrinkle...he is recently separated, and I feel he needs some time on his own...to be single...before making a long term commitment. With that in mind, I do fear the thoughts of losing him. My question for you Eugenia is this:? does it make sense for me to think about planning for a future of living and working with this man? Or should I just enjoy what we have now, knowing that it is short term?

I really appreciate any insight you can give me in this situation.? Dealing with a long distance relationship can be wonderful....or dreadful.? I don?t have a concern with the age difference however there was one problem that the astrological comparison did reveal. His natal Sun is opposite your natal Neptune and this can cause some deception or difficulties in an area of his chart that deals with communication and travel or the distance that you have between you. In your chart it deals with a work area which could eventually create problems because you are in the same vocation or work for the same company. I do not however feel that this is something that should stop you from pursuing you intention to eventually make a move to be together. His chart indicates that he is more inclined to make a short distance move over the next year. In other words he buys a house and moves from where he is living now to a nearby neighborhood. In your case the move appears to be a distant move from one state or province to another over the upcoming year.

There are no guarantees when it comes to love and even though your comparison is good a relationship takes work. If you feel that you will miss your friends and family you may want to consider your option to move very slowly with this relationship. Where he resides it is certainly not the same climate physically or mentally and the adjustment will be difficult. I suggest that you spend as much time visiting him as possible to get a better feel for the area. He falls in an area of your chart that deals with relationships which is good and you fall in the offshoot of that area in his chart which also brings favorable results. My only concern is that you are very family oriented and it will be difficult for you to leave the people you love behind should you make the move. If he were to make the move to your local it would have to be in the fall of 2005. Before that time would probably be a mistake or lead to some problems. If you feel that you want to take that amount of time before you are together I would suggest that you do so.

Hi Eugenia

My Daughter, December,14th,1986, and? my son, August,20th,1988, are tearing me up inside.? We have had a very busy year, confusing and some-what unsettling. Now that a few of my accomplishments have been met, they are no longer apart of my daily life.? They are both so young, and they both need to grow up so fast. I am really hurting inside I cry, when I am alone, which is quite often the past few weeks. I do not see why this is happening to us. They rebel against my rules, but go live with others and abide by their stricter rules!! What is going on? Where is this all going to lead? Eugenia, you helped me before, I need you again. I need to know what I am doing so wrong. It really is killing me inside; help me to understand these challenges, and obstacles. Why can't they grow and prosper in my care? I was born April 20, 1970, at 2 am.

You have a good chart and a very capable chart in so many ways however where children are concerned (having them, raising them) you have a Neptune Mars opposition that stands in your way. This causes uncertainty, confusion, and anger and it unfortunately hooks up to the Moon in both your children?s charts negatively. This means that there is emotional deception and disillusionment when it comes to the way they relate to you and you to them.

Your chart denotes that right now you should be focusing on career and moving in a direction that will help you grow and prosper financially and professionally. Your home environment continues to show weakness, deception and plenty of confusion until the spring of 2009. This may make it difficult for you to do the job necessary in order to raise your children. Your children do have a rebellious nature and if someone else can make the difference or help to get them through their growing years without too many incidence it will be a blessing.
