I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.

For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,

Thank you for providing this service for self-exploration. These days my computer is on auto pilot to your I Ching feature; although he has proven insightful, I would like the chance of experiencing the human element of your web site.Here goes.... My husband and I are both Aries, and have totally different personality traits. I was born 24/03/1960, at 2 AM. My husband birth date is 22/03/1961, I do not know his time of birth. I am energetic, motivated, outgoing, competitive; he is passive, laid back, doesn't like change. When we were married in 1981, we moved over 1000 miles away from our birthplace and families. Since 1981 to now, we have experienced a lot of life, from our youngest son being diagnosed with Cancer, to loosing my father. Right now, we are in a position to re-evaluate our career paths, and move closer to home. In the small northern community that we live in, the health and education systems are in shambles. We decided last March to let our eldest son have the opportunity to go to a boarding school. He loved it, and will be returning this September. For me, it is very hard to have my 15-year-old son living away from home. I have taken the initiative of "doing" a resume for my husband and have sent it out to several places... and telling him after the fact. He is now getting responses for interviews. You see, the company that he works for is re-evaluating their economic viability, and have closed down operations for one year, while still maintaining all staffing levels. We are in limbo. He came home from work the other night, and said there was a job posting up for a job he would really like to apply for at this "Limbo Company", and that he liked to be "comfortable". I need change, and to be with my family... Does this mean DIVORCE COURT!!!

Just because you are born under the same sun sign does not mean that you have to be alike. A personalized chart is like your thumbprint. There are several differences that stand out between you and your husband's charts even without having his birth time. I wouldn't be surprised however if he were born around the noon hour giving him a Cancer ascendant. If this is the case I suspect that he will be moving along with you and not staying put. This could be because he gets an interesting offer from one of the companies you sent his resume to or because he does not get the job at the Limbo Company. You match up too well to have divorce enter the picture, as I'm sure you are well aware. Changes are apparent and the opportunity to make a move looks good. I'd be putting your house on the market if you own it or looking for a place to live closer to your birth place come October with hopes of selling your house or making your move sometime before the end of the year.

Dear Eugenia:

If I don't get a response from you this time, I guess I'll give up. Incidentally, what happens to the emails that have been sent to you many times over but never get answered? Anyhow, I was born March 11, 1971 at 5:01 a.m. It seems Cupid is doing nothing but piercing me with his arrow regarding my love life. Why? The longest relationship I had lasted three years then my heart was broken; then I met someone who used me on the rebound (didn't know this when I met her of course) and had the nerve to invite me to her wedding! Then I slowly fell for this girl I met through work (2 years ago)(Virgo, but again, I'm being used as a sounding board and to get her out of work-related jams; special days like New Year's eve, she's not with me but her family or somewhere else despite her promises and notice in advance. I'm good-looking, a gentleman, have a decent job and lots of friends 'cause I don't have any brothers or sisters and slowly but surely all of my friends have gotten married and some now even have children. I so want these things in my life as well. Please tell me what's in store for me. Sometimes I feel so down that I hibernate and become very much a loner. Thanks for answering this one, I hope! You are a great catch but you've been going through a period of deception, disillusionment and so forth when it comes to your relationships. This is moving off your chart but as long as you are a loner you aren't likely to get out and meet Ms. Right. Although some Virgo's can match up to you well it is hard to say how compatible you are with the one at work because you didn't submit her birth date. I would have to assume by what you are saying that the Virgo in her chart probably adversely hits the Neptune and Jupiter in your chart. This always causes some problems. Your chart indicates that you can have a happy relationship and all the things in life that you are hoping for but that you will have to go about it in a little different manner than what you have in the past. The unfortunate thing is that the signs you are drawn to are not likely to be drawn to you. In other words you are picking the wrong people to partner with. You really need to do astrological comparisons, which I might add can be done for free on my www.astroadvice.com website. You are not in a bad cycle for meeting new people and I do believe that you can meet someone through work or through relatives or friends so don't be afraid to go out on a blind date. With transiting Jupiter moving through your house of relationships until the summer of next year you have plenty of opportunities ahead of you, but once again you must get out and make your moves. Join groups that interest you and you will meet someone with similar likes. You have a good chart and so much to offer so stop being so hard on yourself. You have recently entered into a seven-year cycle that will promote changes in your personal life. This is just the beginning and love and romance are within reach. Open your eyes and your heart but don't be fooled by women who want a sounding board or who are on the rebound. You are young, doing well and have everything to offer. The signs you are most likely to do well with are Aries, Taurus, Leo, early Virgo's and Capricorn. I was born June 10, 1980 at 11 pm. I recently meet a guy (Birth date: 11/07/1983) and we started dating. I think he is a sweetheart but self-conscious because I make more money than he does and I am self-conscious because he is younger then me (Birth date: 06/10/1980). We get along great but the problem is that I have secretly started seeing an old flame (Birth date: 11/21/1980). My old flame is someone I have had a crush on for years even after we broke up. The problem is that my old flame has a girlfriend as well whom he is having problems with. I am confused now on what to do. I like the new guy but I think I am curious to see if there is still something with my old flame. I am confused on whether I should stay with the new guy or dump him for my old flame and see if there is more to it then just friends. Please help.

This is a bit of a no win situation. Both comparisons are very different however they both show signs of sorrow as well. You have a tremendous number of planetary connections between your chart and that of your younger Scorpio friend but I believe that being the Gemini that you are you will not be able to leave well enough alone causing an insatiable urge to find out if you still have something going on with your ex Scorpio. This in turn will cause sorrow with your young Scorpio - he will not take lightly to you engaging in any relationship be it platonic or not with your ex. Please don't lose sight of what was wrong with your relationship with your ex Scorpio the first time around and why you aren't still together. The same problems will crop up time and time again. Your young Scorpio has his natal Venus in the sign Virgo so age shouldn't be a problem considering he probably acts quite mature when it comes to love. You have your natal Venus in Gemini and that often causes you to be fickle and flirtatious when it comes to romance. Your ex has his natal Venus in the sign Libra and although he can be very charming etc. he can also be as fickle and flirtatious as you. All this being said I do believe that you should probably set your young Scorpio free before you really hurt him.
