We've all experienced times of conflict and personal struggle. Times when the assistance and advice of a friend always seemed to lend comfort and ease the burden. Have you ever wondered what it would be like if that friend was one of the world's most revered astrologers, with over 25 years of experience?

Dear Eugenia,
Thank you for providing this service for self-exploration. These days my computer is on auto pilot to your I Ching feature; although he has proven insightful, I would like the chance of experiencing the human element of your web site. Here goes.... My husband and I are both Aries, and have totally different personality traits. I was born 24/03/1960, at 2 AM. My husband birth date is 22/03/1961, I do not know his time of birth. I am energetic, motivated, outgoing, competitive; he is passive, laid back, doesn't like change. When we were married in 1981, we moved over 1000 miles away from our birthplace and families. Since 1981 to now, we have experienced a lot of life, from our youngest son being diagnosed with Cancer, to loosing my father. Right now, we are in a position to re-evaluate our career paths, and move closer to home. In the small northern community that we live in, the health and education systems are in shambles. We decided last March to let our eldest son have the opportunity to go to a boarding school. He loved it, and will be returning this September. For me, it is very hard to have my 15-year-old son living away from home. I have taken the initiative of "doing" a resume for my husband and have sent it out to several places... and telling him after the fact. He is now getting responses for interviews. You see, the company that he works for is re-evaluating their economic viability, and have closed down operations for one year, while still maintaining all staffing levels. We are in limbo. He came home from work the other night, and said there was a job posting up for a job he would really like to apply for at this "Limbo Company", and that he liked to be "comfortable". I need change, and to be with my family... Does this mean DIVORCE COURT!!!
Regards,
Limbo Land
Dear Limbo Land
Just because you are born under the same sun sign does not mean that you have to be alike. A personalized chart is like your thumbprint. There are several differences that stand out between you and your husband's charts even without having his birth time. I wouldn't be surprised however if he were born around the noon hour giving him a Cancer ascendant. If this is the case I suspect that he will be moving along with you and not staying put. This could be because he gets an interesting offer from one of the companies you sent his resume to or because he does not get the job at the Limbo Company. You match up too well to have divorce enter the picture, as I'm sure you are well aware. Changes are apparent and the opportunity to make a move looks good. I'd be putting your house on the market if you own it or looking for a place to live closer to your birth place come October with hopes of selling your house or making your move sometime before the end of the year.

Dear Eugenia
Greetings and Salutations!
May I borrow a cup of Insight? I am a young man, but not getting any younger from what I've seen... I had hopes that you might answer a question or two for me...
Contrary to popular belief, I'm somewhat introverted, and having difficulty finding the all-mysterious "soul mate" that I've heard that everyone has. Any possible chance that some of Us don't necessarily have one? Or, am I approaching this the wrong way?
Equally as important, I'm working towards becoming an artist, that is saying, a paid artist...Any possible chance that this is the correct career path for me? I greatly enjoy creating the pieces of work that I do, just not one hundred percent for certain that it's going to be profitable for me to try to continue on a professional basis.
So, what do you think? Do I need help or what? I was born May 16, 1976 at 12:24 am.
Best Wishes,
Thebullgod
Hi bullgod
You have your Saturn return coming your way and there is no doubt that the questioning has already begun. Your first Saturn return is what we refer to in astrology as the maturing time in your life. You will reevaluate and consider your options as well as make decisions whether to stay put because you think you are too old already to make changes or you will stand up take the initiative and turn your life upside down in search of your goals. For you I believe the main area of change will be professionally. I consider the arts as my salvation as well and cannot imagine working in any other field but for many years I had to work a job that wasn't satisfying in order to support my addiction to my art. I do believe that you belong in the arts and that you are talented and will eventually make your way and be successful. However, if you must take on other projects in order to make money do so but try to keep them in the same venue. In other words if you are a painter try to work at a gallery, a musician - try to work at a recording company and so forth. That way you can and will turn your dream into a reality. You are in a high cycle regarding work for the next five years and yes you should be taking the road less traveled or the unusual route. As for love and having a soul mate I am of the belief that we each have at least 11 almost perfect matches on the planet but they are not always that easy to find. In your case I believe you match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces. You have been in a good cycle regarding meeting partners but I believe that you have also been going through a very self-deceptive period when it comes to what you want. Although this period can also contribute to your creativity it can also cause sorrow at a personal level. This has counteracted your chance to take advantage of the opportunity to meet the right persona. You will be in a high love cycle again beginning this time next year. My suggestion to you is to focus on work and developing what you want to do and by the time next fall approaches you will be in a much position to meet people who are likely to have similar interests. This will be when you can find love. You have a great chart that has gone through several years of confusion regarding your personal life. Don't be so hard on yourself. You will find love and you will reach your goals as long as you do so at the right time.

Dear Eugenia,
I was born on October 17th 1946 at 6:20 PM in Toronto. The last few years have been difficult but I've tried to remain hopeful that things will work out. But lately I've read some astrology sites that state this is one of the best times my sign will have for the next 12 years. Since I have no job and little money, few friends, no social life and I'm married to a man I have to take care of because his fondness for alcohol has left him with brain damage, I find it hard to believe these are good times. If it doesn't get any better than this I don't know how I'll cope. Are these supposed to be good times for me?
Tired.
Dear Tired.
None of us consist of just our Sun Sign and this is where astrology can be misinterpreted. You have actually had several years of tough times and although things are starting to improve you still have some problems to deal with. The first thing you have to do is to take the initiative to make the necessary changes in order to improve your life. Even if you feel that you don't want to get into the work force at this time the possibility to do so is present over this next year however you have to do the legwork. If you really don't want to work you should at least volunteer or join an organization you believe in so that you can get out and have some sort of social life and support system happening. Jupiter has just moved into an area of your chart that usually indicates a move or favorable change in your home. You are also in a high cycle where relationships are concerned and if you are sick and tired of taking care of your ailing husband it may be time to institutionalize him. He made the choice to drink himself into oblivion and it's time you stopped being the martyr. You still have a lot of living to do and as long as you sit in the situation that you are in nothing will change. Astrologically speaking I can tell you what you should be doing and when the time is right but you have to take the initiative and make it happen. Get moving girl; you've paid your dues.
