We've all experienced times of conflict and personal struggle. Times when the assistance and advice of a friend always seemed to lend comfort and ease the burden. Have you ever wondered what it would be like if that friend was one of the world's most revered astrologers, with over 25 years of experience?

Dear Eugenia,
Thank you for providing this service for self-exploration. These days my computer is on auto pilot to your I Ching feature; although he has proven insightful, I would like the chance of experiencing the human element of your web site. Here goes.... My husband and I are both Aries, and have totally different personality traits. I was born 24/03/1960, at 2 AM. My husband birth date is 22/03/1961, I do not know his time of birth. I am energetic, motivated, outgoing, competitive; he is passive, laid back, doesn't like change. When we were married in 1981, we moved over 1000 miles away from our birthplace and families. Since 1981 to now, we have experienced a lot of life, from our youngest son being diagnosed with Cancer, to loosing my father. Right now, we are in a position to re-evaluate our career paths, and move closer to home. In the small northern community that we live in, the health and education systems are in shambles. We decided last March to let our eldest son have the opportunity to go to a boarding school. He loved it, and will be returning this September. For me, it is very hard to have my 15-year-old son living away from home. I have taken the initiative of "doing" a resume for my husband and have sent it out to several places... and telling him after the fact. He is now getting responses for interviews. You see, the company that he works for is re-evaluating their economic viability, and have closed down operations for one year, while still maintaining all staffing levels. We are in limbo. He came home from work the other night, and said there was a job posting up for a job he would really like to apply for at this "Limbo Company", and that he liked to be "comfortable". I need change, and to be with my family... Does this mean DIVORCE COURT!!!
Regards,
Limbo Land
Dear Limbo Land
Just because you are born under the same sun sign does not mean that you have to be alike. A personalized chart is like your thumbprint. There are several differences that stand out between you and your husband's charts even without having his birth time. I wouldn't be surprised however if he were born around the noon hour giving him a Cancer ascendant. If this is the case I suspect that he will be moving along with you and not staying put. This could be because he gets an interesting offer from one of the companies you sent his resume to or because he does not get the job at the Limbo Company. You match up too well to have divorce enter the picture, as I'm sure you are well aware. Changes are apparent and the opportunity to make a move looks good. I'd be putting your house on the market if you own it or looking for a place to live closer to your birth place come October with hopes of selling your house or making your move sometime before the end of the year.
Eugenia
Dear Eugenia,
I feel so hopeless at this point in my relationship and was looking for some guidance. My husband and I have been married 20 years and together 22 years. Last year he just upped and left the house and said he wanted a divorce. We've had our ups and downs but basically a good relationship and especially a good friendship, or so I thought. After being gone for 9 months he decided he wanted to make a go of it and came back into my life.
Please understand that when he left I was so distraught and even considered suicide. I allowed him back in my life and we agreed we'd take it one day at a time. It's only been two months and he has just informed me that he cannot stand the guilt he's feeling and had to confess that he feels like he came back for all the wrong reasons. I have been to counseling and he has agreed to also go talk to someone. I just can't tell you how sick I feel right now. I can't believe he would give up after only two months knowing we have so much to work through. I love this man with all my heart and know in my heart we can get through this.
I was wondering if there is any way to help me in my sole search for the right path. We've been told several times that we were meant to be together, but I know that doesn't mean it will happen or even be easy.
His birthday is 4/24/58 and mine is 12/6/58. My birth hour is 4:08am but I don't know his. I don't know what to do and cannot emotionally handle another broken heart. Could things work out between us if we put forth the effort and will he put forth the effort needed to get us through this?

Dear AKA Broken Hearted
You do have a decent comparison with your husband both mentally and emotionally however physically there do appear to be some problems. Your chart indicates that your relationship will be unstable until mid February however deception and disillusionment will continue to haunt you right through next year. The final outcome will be apparent October/November of next year. You do have to give this relationship a chance but unless both of you do so it isn't likely to work. Your husband's chart denotes that he is totally confused about his personal life and that isn't about to change any time soon. He is likely to experience a change of heart around May/June of next year. The one thing that I don't want you to do is to be a doormat. Opportunities for romance can be yours in May/June so if your husband isn't trying to rekindle his relationship with you at that time don't be afraid to get out and meet someone new. It will also be the time to clear up any legal matters or financial concerns. You have to start looking out for yourself. It would be nice if you could to sort through your differences but if you can't be prepared to do what's best for you. If you don't communicate with one another or you both see different therapists you may never figure out what the real problem is. You have to work together in order to come to a workable agreement.

Dear Eugenia:
I have to travel overseas to the U.K. to scatter my mother's ashes. I have decided to make this trip late September of this year. As there were many family conflicts at her funeral and has resulted in only some of her family taking part in this farewell. Would you please advise me if this is the best time to do it as there are already some differences of opinions on the timing but as there are so many people, I can't get the timing to accommodate everyone. I want this to be as pleasant as possible for everyone with no more family squabbles. I was the one my mother asked to carry this wish out for her and also I am the only one traveling from overseas. Do you think the timing is okay? I was born July 1, 1949, at 1:20 AM.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Confused
Dear Confused
Stop trying to please everyone else. You are the one doing the traveling and all the work to pull this off for your deceased mother. You have been through enough already. Late September is just as good a time as any if you are concerned about your relatives. You will never please them all regardless of the time you choose to scatter your mother's ashes. If you leave it until October you will be dealing with Mercury retrograde and that could create some problems. If you go the last week of September you are moving through better times but I do feel that fatigue and minor ailments may be present. If you leave it until around the middle of November you should find it a little less tiring and stressful.
