We've all experienced times of conflict and personal struggle. Times when the assistance and advice of a friend always seemed to lend comfort and ease the burden. Have you ever wondered what it would be like if that friend was one of the world's most revered astrologers, with over 25 years of experience?

Dear Eugenia,
Thank you for providing this service for self-exploration. These days my computer is on auto pilot to your I Ching feature; although he has proven insightful, I would like the chance of experiencing the human element of your web site. Here goes.... My husband and I are both Aries, and have totally different personality traits. I was born 24/03/1960, at 2 AM. My husband birth date is 22/03/1961, I do not know his time of birth. I am energetic, motivated, outgoing, competitive; he is passive, laid back, doesn't like change. When we were married in 1981, we moved over 1000 miles away from our birthplace and families. Since 1981 to now, we have experienced a lot of life, from our youngest son being diagnosed with Cancer, to loosing my father. Right now, we are in a position to re-evaluate our career paths, and move closer to home. In the small northern community that we live in, the health and education systems are in shambles. We decided last March to let our eldest son have the opportunity to go to a boarding school. He loved it, and will be returning this September. For me, it is very hard to have my 15-year-old son living away from home. I have taken the initiative of "doing" a resume for my husband and have sent it out to several places... and telling him after the fact. He is now getting responses for interviews. You see, the company that he works for is re-evaluating their economic viability, and have closed down operations for one year, while still maintaining all staffing levels. We are in limbo. He came home from work the other night, and said there was a job posting up for a job he would really like to apply for at this "Limbo Company", and that he liked to be "comfortable". I need change, and to be with my family... Does this mean DIVORCE COURT!!!
Regards,
Limbo Land
Dear Limbo Land
Just because you are born under the same sun sign does not mean that you have to be alike. A personalized chart is like your thumbprint. There are several differences that stand out between you and your husband's charts even without having his birth time. I wouldn't be surprised however if he were born around the noon hour giving him a Cancer ascendant. If this is the case I suspect that he will be moving along with you and not staying put. This could be because he gets an interesting offer from one of the companies you sent his resume to or because he does not get the job at the Limbo Company. You match up too well to have divorce enter the picture, as I'm sure you are well aware. Changes are apparent and the opportunity to make a move looks good. I'd be putting your house on the market if you own it or looking for a place to live closer to your birth place come October with hopes of selling your house or making your move sometime before the end of the year.

Hi Eugenia
For the past few months my horoscope keeps telling me "this is the best time for romance", "You are going to find you soul mate" "This is your year".
Well I don't see anything happening. I am gay and my ex who is a Scorpio (Nov.12, 1959) is still on mind. I go out to meet people but no one seems to catch my attention. Can you tell me what's happening here? I'm also under a lot of stress. I'm in the middle of selling my business, which I've been in for 17 years and taking care of my Mom. Just thought I better add that in. Any information would me appreciated Eugenia. Thank you.
Gemini
Hi Gemini
Lets address your past relationship first. You did match up in a number of ways but emotionally it was taxing to say the least. I believe that this was a karmic connection and that is why it is so hard to let it go. That being said it is probably time to stop reliving something that is already dealt with and finished. You are going through a period in your chart that is making you think about people from your past but that doesn't mean that you should be trying to back track. Although it is a good year for most Gemini's regarding love with transiting Jupiter moving through Libra I have to say that for you it is good for traveling, socializing, doing things that are creative, making new friends from different backgrounds and so forth but when it comes to love with your natal Venus in the sign Cancer you are a little ahead of yourself. At the end of this year transiting Jupiter will be moving into the passionate and compatible sign Scorpio making next year your year for finding true love so don't give up hope. You match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces.
For now focus on selling your business and taking care of mom - I know neither probably excite you right now but once you have done what's necessary in these two areas of your life you will be in the right frame of mind and a better position to deal with the fabulous relationship that awaits you.
Eugenia
Dear Eugenia:
I sincerely hope that you can find some order in my swirling mass of chaotic emotions. I am a Taurus woman (born May 6, 1971 at 1:36 p.m.) that was deeply hurt last year by a Cancer (July 10, 1968) whom I thought I was going to marry, and then by a Capricorn (January 14, 1971) who lied to me, yet still shows up in my life now and then and tells me how much he misses me (and he has a girlfriend now too - a Pisces). I don't mean to sound bitter, but I feel that my relationships are always doomed to failure, and every time I get knocked down (figuratively speaking, of course), it gets a little harder to stand back up again. I'm starting to feel a little better about myself, but I am still wounded by the fact that Mr. Cancer didn't want to marry me because of my medical condition (I'm diabetic), and it was his parents that forced him to break up with me. I want to feel good about myself again, and I don't want to be lonely anymore: I feel that I am ready to start a relationship - one that would hopefully lead to a future marriage. My question is this: should I actively pursue relationships at this time, or do I need a little more time to concentrate on myself and my well-being? If you could give me some insight into the next six months (if possible), you could help ease my troubled mind a little so I can focus on a positive direction in my life.
Thank you ever so much
Eternally grateful
Dear Eternally grateful
You are best to get the Cancer out of your mind. If he wasn't strong enough to stand up for you when his family discouraged him you have to know that he wasn't right for you. The Capricorn was really someone who was meant to be a social acquaintance. As for the signs best suited to you consider a Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio or Pisces. You are in a high cycle for meeting someone new right now however that transit will only be with you until late May. After that I suggest that you focus on yourself, your career and your home. You will be in another high cycle from mid July on for the next couple of years.
