I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.

For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,

Thank you for providing this service for self-exploration. These days my computer is on auto pilot to your I Ching feature; although he has proven insightful, I would like the chance of experiencing the human element of your web site.Here goes.... My husband and I are both Aries, and have totally different personality traits. I was born 24/03/1960, at 2 AM. My husband birth date is 22/03/1961, I do not know his time of birth. I am energetic, motivated, outgoing, competitive; he is passive, laid back, doesn't like change. When we were married in 1981, we moved over 1000 miles away from our birthplace and families. Since 1981 to now, we have experienced a lot of life, from our youngest son being diagnosed with Cancer, to loosing my father. Right now, we are in a position to re-evaluate our career paths, and move closer to home. In the small northern community that we live in, the health and education systems are in shambles. We decided last March to let our eldest son have the opportunity to go to a boarding school. He loved it, and will be returning this September. For me, it is very hard to have my 15-year-old son living away from home. I have taken the initiative of "doing" a resume for my husband and have sent it out to several places... and telling him after the fact. He is now getting responses for interviews. You see, the company that he works for is re-evaluating their economic viability, and have closed down operations for one year, while still maintaining all staffing levels. We are in limbo. He came home from work the other night, and said there was a job posting up for a job he would really like to apply for at this "Limbo Company", and that he liked to be "comfortable". I need change, and to be with my family... Does this mean DIVORCE COURT!!!

Just because you are born under the same sun sign does not mean that you have to be alike. A personalized chart is like your thumbprint. There are several differences that stand out between you and your husband's charts even without having his birth time. I wouldn't be surprised however if he were born around the noon hour giving him a Cancer ascendant. If this is the case I suspect that he will be moving along with you and not staying put. This could be because he gets an interesting offer from one of the companies you sent his resume to or because he does not get the job at the Limbo Company. You match up too well to have divorce enter the picture, as I'm sure you are well aware. Changes are apparent and the opportunity to make a move looks good. I'd be putting your house on the market if you own it or looking for a place to live closer to your birth place come October with hopes of selling your house or making your move sometime before the end of the year.

Dear Eugenia,

I hope I get lucky this time and you can answer my mail! I am sorry I cannot afford the confidential consultation right now. I'll try to make this as simple as possible given the world of questions I want to ask. Basically, I have been "in disgrace with fortune" all my life: I lost my childhood to anorexia, have been bullied very cruelly forever throughout my adolescence, and have always felt achingly alone. I have a very low self-esteem, which has led me to undertake breast augmentation surgery last year. Unluckily enough, I've developed capsular contracture (painful and deforming) on one breast, and have also contracted herpes (ironically enough, being a virgin). All this has kept me awake at night, seemingly a cascade coming from a destructive relationship I had last year with a boy (May 25, 1977, birth time unknown), my first "boyfriend" who? only used me and then treated me like nothing. I had never felt -and can never explain- such emptiness and desolation before, and given my timid, self-deprecating character, this shattered me. Will the stars ever shine on me one day Eugenia? I'm tired of trying to love myself and prove myself to others. By the way, as of now, there are two significant men on the horizon, one a Taurus (5.20.74), another Virgo (9.16.-, around 20 years older than me). And of course, the absence of He who hurt me so lingers ever present. Also, what do you see regarding my career? I work very hard. Let?s start with career and prospects in that area of your life first. Your chart indicates that you should be focusing on learning, developing, picking up skills and definitely being creative in whatever you pursue. All that being said you may have to pick up a sales job or temp work in order to buy yourself some time to pursue whatever art you are drawn to. I have to say that music or lyrics also show up prominently.

Regarding your down and out attitude ? transiting Saturn has been largely responsible for that. It has been moving through a crucial area of your chart the past several years. First it affected your health and well being leaving you confused and feeling reclusive and then it moved on to an area of your chart causing depression especially when dealing with your personal life, the way you view yourself and dealing with relationships. Although this will continue to move through your chart over the upcoming year it is apparent that you should be handling matters a little better come the fall. Late September and October you will be in a high cycle regarding love, relationships and being with someone who understands you. Now this can also bring someone from your past back into your life so if you feel that you have unfinished business with your Gemini friend you may want to readdress that situation even if it is only to close the book, but don?t waste too much time on him because I believe you can do better. Now that is not to say that you didn?t match up to him but the comparison was a little iffy when it came to honesty. He has a lot of growing up to do and unfortunately I believe that he may never do so. He is erratic, fickle and probably a bed bouncer. The unfortunate thing is that he also captured your heart. Article: Changing His Ways

Dear Eugenia:

I am in a dilemma right now my best friend has gotten into some trouble with the law, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is going through a tough time being locked up, we have been the best of friends for over 3 years and in the beginning of our friendship we started out in a romantic relationship. Well a lot happened and I guess you could say it wasn't our time, but we continued to develop a strong friendship bond which nothing could destroy, and since he has been locked up I have been to visit him twice. His charge is nothing really major so he won't be in jail long but over the last 16 days in jail he said that his eyes have opened up to so much and he sees things so clearly. He has seen his faults and he is going to change he says that I am all he thinks about and he knows that I am really the only one that has always been there for him and I have stood by him through everything. He asks me if I am going to wait for him. He keeps making remarks about me, him and us, and getting back what we once had. He knows how strongly I feel for him and that I would do anything for him. I would give anything to have back what we once had. My question is should I take him and everything he has said seriously or should I just take it as "Jail talk"
