I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I have been dating this guy name Rickey for almost 3 years. We started out seeing each other on Friday and Saturday nights sometimes during the week. He has 2 kids and a sick mother that he has to take care of and a job that he has long hours and for the past year we have only seen each other on Fridays when he did not have to work late. I just want to spend more time with him and see if what we have is true and if he really has feelings for me or just using me. His birth date is Jan. 1, 1962 my birthday is April 2, 1950 what do you see for us please help me should I hang in there or just be friends.

The comparison was not all that great. There was definitely some deception involved regarding his status, direction in life and future goals. I believe that if either one of you were really interested something would have happened by now. If you really wanted to spend more time with him over the past three years you would have been offering to help him with his children as well as with his mother. If you did offer and he denied you the right to pitch in and help I would take that as an indication that he doesn't really want you in his life. Your chart indicates that you will be in a high cycle for love and romance beginning in the spring of next year and that you should prepare yourself by getting out of this situation and joining organizations that offer opportunities to meet new people who have similar interests. I have dated. I have been engaged a few times but never married (I think I always took marriage too seriously -- and never could promise to do all that marriage entails). I had a loving relationship with a man who had a terminal illness, who died in '95. I have always kept the door open in my heart that I might find a life-long partner, but now I wonder: should I shut the door on this option? I'm not afraid of being alone. I am afraid of nurturing false hope in myself. I was born January 6, 1953, at 5:45 am.

You should never close the door on love, romance, marriage, partnership etc. One of the reasons why you have gone the route but never crossed the line when it came to marriage is due to having your natal Uranus in an area of your chart that deals with relationships opposite your Sun in an area of your chart that deals with your personal outlook. This has probably caused you or your partners throughout life to back away or have a change of heart at the last minute. With transiting Saturn moving into that area of your chart there has never been a better time to find love and get serious then now. Also with your Moon in the sign Virgo it isn't unusual for you to find love or get into a serious relationship during the second half of life. In your case you are moving into a high cycle regarding love right now and you should be out meeting new people. This particular transit can also bring someone from your past back into your life so perhaps if there is someone you still think about you should readdress this relationship. In the past the timing was probably wrong with this person. This is a great year for you creatively, educationally and where growth is concerned. You should be expanding your circle of friends, getting involved in discussions or courses that will alter your philosophy, attitude, lifestyle and outlook. You are going through changes and that is part of the reason you are feeling somewhat concerned or restless about finding love or backing away from it completely. Today, I clicked on the "Community" Section for the first time on a whim, and saw the report on Steven Spielberg, which I greatly enjoyed. I would be very interested to know what the stars have planned for his sister Anne Spielberg. Anne is a talented screenwriter who earned an Oscar nomination for her screenplay "Big." I also have a specific question about odd coincidences, or synchronicityand my career.
I am a screenwriter, and I am planning to politely approach Mr. Spielberg for his advice on a mystical TV series I have created. I have never met him, but he has popped up now and then in my family's social circle (which is political, not Hollywood) in recent years. Very recently, I met someone who is a colleague of his sister Anne! And then, today, I came across your report on Steven Spielberg.
My question specifically is: Is there something to be gained by approaching these prominent and important people for advice on my project?
I enjoy your site tremendously. It is only in the past year that I have discovered what wonderful tool astrology is.I am a Virgo born September 12, 1963, at 11:56 AM. Unfortunately, I did not clue in to the significance of the Jupiter transit through my house of career and in time to make the fullest use of it. Timing, as you say, is everything. By the way Anne was born December 25, 1949.

Jupiter is transiting your eighth house of contracts and agreements so it's not a bad time to do deals however that is usually if they are already in the making. Consider the fact that Jupiter will be well aspected to your natal Mars in the eleventh followed by your natal Neptune in your twelfth and this can be a good time to do some behind the scenes investigating and diplomatic approaches to those who are in a position to help you get ahead. With the continuing movement of both Saturn and Jupiter over the course of the next several years you could actually do quite well. The groundwork you lay down now will help you reach higher levels later on. You are up for sudden changes especially where travel, communication and publishing is concerned so don't hold back now. You will have to be careful from a legal standpoint and make sure that your work is well protected before you decide to divulge your ideas.
Regarding Anne, she is going through a very creative cycle at the moment and with the type of chart she has I believe that she will probably reach another accolade in her life over the course of the next couple of years. Without her birth time it is difficult to be specific but she does have a marvelous chart and although there do appear to be some setbacks personally and emotionally while transiting Saturn is moving through Gemini I believe that she will still achieve with the aid of Jupiter moving through Cancer over the course of the upcoming year.
