HI there

I have been friends with a lady for 5 years and we have been dating for 2 years of that time. I am Aries born 31/3/1978 not sure the time and my girlfriend was born 23/9/1971 not sure on time.

About 2 weeks ago she split with me one day and went straight over to another guy the next day. Even though she said she was going to think about us. I found out now that they have been fully seeing each other and she already says she loves him. Why I am writing to you is I was wondering what would have been the better match for her.

He was born on the 24/9/1973 not sure the time. What I have read on the net is a lot and I figured out that I think that she and I would have been a better match for each other than her and this other guy. Could you please tell me up front if a Libra and an Aries are better for each other than a Libra and Libra? Also I have read that Libras are big on flirting and so on and that Libra males are always on the look out for something better if it comes long is this true???

Hi Tom

Sun Sign Astrology is a fun approach to the subject but not that realistic. When you run a comparison you really have to look at all the planets involved etc in order to see how well two people match. In the case of your ex-girlfriend (I might add that she is really a much stronger Virgo) she does happen to match up better to her Libra friend. You my friend are best to put her behind you and start looking forward to the transits you have coming up later this year for love and romance. Even if she leaves her Libra friends and tries to get back together with you it really isn't worth your while. You match up well to the sign Libra however just not to this one. You also do well with Aries, Gemini, Leo, Scorpio, Sagittarius and Aquarius. As for your friend - she is going through a make it or break it period where love is concerned. With regard to her new boyfriend - he is a strong Libra and yes they are flirts and usually looking for someone who is flawless so they do tend to jump to whoever appears to be perfect but in this particular Libras case he has his natal Venus in the sign Scorpio well aspected to his natal Saturn in Cancer and that is usually an indication that he will be devoted to his lover and even possibly jealous and controlling - now that could push her away eventually. As for you - get on with your life and don't look back. She isn't your soul mate.

Article: Forget Him?

Dear Eugenia,

I hope you will answer my letter. I beg you to. There is a man I have been seeing for 9 months. He works at the same office but in a different department. The problem is that he is still married. He keeps on extending the date to separate from his wife saying he has to do it because of his kids. I do understand his situation, but sometimes I feel like I am getting used unintentionally. I know he wouldn't purposely hurt me. I live alone. And it's so lonely without him. At work he is such a distraction, because I always think about him.

I love him very much, but my life was turned upside down because of him. I am emotionally very unstable. Could you please advice me if I should pursue this any more. Yes you do match up to your Leo friend but he is in a situation that is not healthy for you. I believe that you should back away, change your job if necessary and get on with your life. If he is serious about you and leaving his family he will do so. As for you sitting around and waiting you should stop doing so immediately. Whether you think he is using you or not, he is. Right now he has two women in his life that he is hurting along with his son. You are going through your Saturn return this year and that will make you depressed as well as cause you to reevaluate your situation. This year is a make it or break it period for you. As for him, I would have thought that if he was planning to leave his family he would have done so a couple of years ago. If you continue to wait around for him he will have no desire or need to make the necessary changes. His chart indicates that he is extremely changeable regarding his feelings and his relationships. I've read through your archives and have personally written to you before. I find your advices very sound and good. I hope you could help me on my current situation.I am in a relationship for about one and a half months. I know I am very selfish that I am still looking for Miss Right while in this relationship. My current girlfriend initiated this relationship and I somehow feel that this is not the right one. But because I never had a girlfriend before, I jumped at this chance without much consideration. I was hoping if you could tell me more about what the stars have for my relationship. And also, I don't seem to be meeting new friends. Is it because I am still with a girlfriend?My birthday is 29 Dec 1976, about 12 midnight, and hers is 18 Apr 1982. I do not know of her birth time.

Your current relationship does show some sorrow. You should never tell someone you love him or her unless you honestly mean it. You are extremely changeable regarding love and you are up for sudden romantic interludes as well as infatuations. You would probably do best if you were on your own and free to experience many different relationships. This would enable you to understand what it is that you really want with regard to a partner. I believe that you need to be with someone who will not curtail your freedom, will be able to keep up with you, will stimulate you both mentally and physically and who will be able to share your interests.
