I have been friends with a lady for 5 years and we have been dating for 2 years of that time. I am Aries born 31/3/1978 not sure the time and my girlfriend was born 23/9/1971 not sure on time.
About 2 weeks ago she split with me one day and went straight over to another guy the next day. Even though she said she was going to think about us. I found out now that they have been fully seeing each other and she already says she loves him. Why I am writing to you is I was wondering what would have been the better match for her.
He was born on the 24/9/1973 not sure the time. What I have read on the net is a lot and I figured out that I think that she and I would have been a better match for each other than her and this other guy. Could you please tell me up front if a Libra and an Aries are better for each other than a Libra and Libra? Also I have read that Libras are big on flirting and so on and that Libra males are always on the look out for something better if it comes long is this true???

Sun Sign Astrology is a fun approach to the subject but not that realistic. When you run a comparison you really have to look at all the planets involved etc in order to see how well two people match. In the case of your ex-girlfriend (I might add that she is really a much stronger Virgo) she does happen to match up better to her Libra friend. You my friend are best to put her behind you and start looking forward to the transits you have coming up later this year for love and romance. Even if she leaves her Libra friends and tries to get back together with you it really isn't worth your while. You match up well to the sign Libra however just not to this one. You also do well with Aries, Gemini, Leo, Scorpio, Sagittarius and Aquarius. As for your friend - she is going through a make it or break it period where love is concerned. With regard to her new boyfriend - he is a strong Libra and yes they are flirts and usually looking for someone who is flawless so they do tend to jump to whoever appears to be perfect but in this particular Libras case he has his natal Venus in the sign Scorpio well aspected to his natal Saturn in Cancer and that is usually an indication that he will be devoted to his lover and even possibly jealous and controlling - now that could push her away eventually. As for you - get on with your life and don't look back. She isn't your soul mate.

I wrote to you before and my letter was not answered. I believe that persistence will bring success. I am now very confused in the affairs relating to love as well as career. I was born in November 11, 1977. My boy friend was born in April 8, 1975. At present, we are far apart. He does not like to write or call me. Maybe it is the character of an Aries. I am worried that we would not have common languages after a period of time. I found that my life is boring. Is it because I am a Scorpio and I'm too focused on love affairs? Am I losing self-esteem? My character is quite strong, but when it comes to love, I am weak. Is it my own problem? When I think of my future, I feel lost. Your comparison with your Aries friend is nice however it can be difficult at an emotional level. Although I like the combination Scorpio and Aries, as the Scorpio you must not show weakness, jealousy or try to confine your Aries man. As a matter of fact Aries men tend to do better when a relationship is more of a challenge. So don't be too easy or accommodating. Your chart indicates that you will be in a high cycle regarding love and romance in July, August and September of this year. You could easily meet someone through work or work related events. I was born on Feb. 6, 1975 at 7:00 p.m. (19:00). Recently, I have a headache just thinking of my job. I think the basic reason is my personality. I'm working for a trading company dealing with chemicals. My position is sales deputy manager. I want to be a salesman but I'm not interested in chemicals at all. My boss and I worked at the same company until this January. He set up his own company and he asked me to help him. So I started this new job from this January. Studying about chemicals is difficult. This is the first problem. I want something more active and fresh. But my boss is really friendly and good to me so I'm hesitant to leave.
I am thinking what I really want to do everyday. A few weeks ago, I went to a fortune-teller. He said that I had better do creative things like fashion design or whatever. He added that I should start as soon as possible and would be successful when I'm 30 years old. Maybe he is right because I'm bored of the routine at work already. I have changed my job two times in the past two years. I don't regret making the change because it was a sedentary job and I don't like it. I'm trying to think what creative work would be good for me. Fashion illustrator? But I don't have any talent working with my hands, but I do have a sense of style.
Anyway, this is the second question I have. I don't know what is better for me in the future. I only know that I do not like chemicals. Should I keep this job because I have to keep the promise with my boss? Or should I change my job? As you said, timing is important. Sometimes I think I'm wasting my time on something that is all wrong for me. Am I right?

You are headed toward a high cycle regarding your work however it will be more predominant beginning next February therefore you do have some time to make up your mind and to look around. Regarding sales, you can do quite well in that field, however what you sell will make all the difference in the world. There are a few options that you might find interesting however for some of them you may have to pick up additional knowledge or courses. I suggest that if that is the case you do so between now and the end of January if possible. You can do well in the fashion industry however I think it would be more in an area of buying not designing. Keep in mind that anything you do can be creative. You also show talent in the field of technology. That could mean selling ideas, concepts etc for a .com company that offers you options. You also show promise in the area of communications and that can mean working with computers, internet, radio, television etc. You have many choices to make and it will be dependent on your knowledge and your ability to jump from one field to another as to how well or how far you will go. The timing is right for you to pick your direction and signing up for courses that will bring you the knowledge required to help you get the position you want by the early part of next year.
