For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Hello Eugenia!
I'm a female Aquarian with a Sagittarius moon and Pisces ascendant. I'm wondering what to do with my life. I quit work last December because, while I was good at what I was doing, I wasn't happy. I'm wondering if I should push myself in a more creative direction, but money is tight. I'm actually terrified of what I think I want - my family and friends would not like it, also, I've grown accustomed to using hope as an excuse to look forward to the future: Maybe one day I'll be doing something I like and getting rewarded for it.
I think life would be much easier if we were born with little instruction books which told us our life expectancy, where to find our partners, how many children we might have - if any, what job we were designed for and a step-by-step breakdown of our destiny; maybe wanting instructions is laziness, but I'm exhausted from living. I probably think too much. I went for a reading recently and I was told that I need to take a break... but I am taking a break and it's not helping me figure anything out.
Any clues to what's eating me or where I should go, what I should do?

You aren't the only Aquarius who is confused right now but nothing so serious that a little creativity and following your dreams can't fix. We were all born with what I like to call a road map of our lives. That is what an astrological chart is. You my friend were born with a splash chart and that makes you quite capable of doing many different things. You are coming into lots of changes over the next few years especially where vocation, studying and traveling to distant lands are concerned. Your chart indicates many creative interests in which entertaining is one of them. You are the one who holds yourself back - no one else. You must be true to yourself and pursue the type of career that will make you happy. If you read my work on a regular basis you have probably heard me say many times that the prerequisite to happiness is doing the right thing at the right time for you.
You are coming into your first Saturn return next year and this is what I refer to as the maturing time in a person's life. It is very common for you to be reevaluating your life and your future direction. This is a pivotal period, a time to size up what you have done with your life up until this point and what the possibilities are for the future. This is your decision - no one else's and you have to make the alterations that will please you the most. If you want to pursue something creative the next couple of years is the time to do so. Don't look back too long or you will waste the opportunity to follow your heart. Take the plunge and give yourself a chance to find your niche. The worst case scenario is not trying to achieve your dreams and looking back in fifteen years when you go through your second half-life Saturn and you say to yourself could of, should of would of. Don't fall victim to having regrets because you didn't take the initiative - just do it - the time is right.

Dear Eugenia:
I am in a dilemma right now my best friend has gotten into some trouble with the law, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is going through a tough time being locked up, we have been the best of friends for over 3 years and in the beginning of our friendship we started out in a romantic relationship. Well a lot happened and I guess you could say it wasn't our time, but we continued to develop a strong friendship bond which nothing could destroy, and since he has been locked up I have been to visit him twice. His charge is nothing really major so he won't be in jail long but over the last 16 days in jail he said that his eyes have opened up to so much and he sees things so clearly. He has seen his faults and he is going to change he says that I am all he thinks about and he knows that I am really the only one that has always been there for him and I have stood by him through everything. He asks me if I am going to wait for him. He keeps making remarks about me, him and us, and getting back what we once had. He knows how strongly I feel for him and that I would do anything for him. I would give anything to have back what we once had. My question is should I take him and everything he has said seriously or should I just take it as "Jail talk"

You didn't submit your best friends birth data so I really can't tell you where he's coming from but I do know by your chart that this is not the best time for relationships. That confusion is definitely in an area of your chart that deals with your personal life. You are coming into your Saturn return next year and this will be a period in your life that you reevaluate what you have done up until this point. It is a time of change, turning things around, getting ready to move into your next stage of life. You have time right now to wait and see how sincere your friend is but don't fool yourself. He is lonely and although he means what he is saying right now it may be a different story when he gets out of jail. Protect your heart and wait and see. There is nothing wrong with friendship for the time being. After all you will build a much stronger relationship if you are friends first. I am a (almost) 16 year old girl sag born December 14, 1984, at 12:23 AM. Both my moon and my ascendant are in Virgo, I have heard that Virgo's are pretty down to earth and grounded individuals. I am NOT either of those. On the contrary, I spend most of my time day dreaming and thinking about the future instead of the present. I am more interested in thinking up future projects than doing present ones.
I am also constantly in a dream world. I like to spend my time in my head, thinking about places that don't exist. This type of thinking has put more pressure on me to do well in school and I am falling behind. Could you tell me what part of my natal chart and any transits that are causing this behavior, and how to combat it. It's really getting in the way of my studies and I would like to try and stay in the real world.

Your ascendant is very late Virgo therefore you have a far stronger Libra influence in your first house. As for your Virgo Moon it is hidden in your 12th house making it less obvious. The fact that you do have your Moon in Virgo however coupled with your Sun, Mercury and Uranus in another mutable sign (Sagittarius) is contributing to your daydreaming right now because transiting Jupiter is moving through Gemini. Now this doesn't have to be a bad thing. It does mean that you want to learn and discover and expand your horizons however if what they are trying to teach you doesn't interest you it can cause you to wonder off mentally to things that capture your imagination. This transit and your planets in Sagittarius run across the 3rd and 9th houses in your chart which represent lower and higher education therefore the problem is affecting your schoolwork. This transit will pass but not until May/June of next year so buckle down and force yourself to work a little harder. If need be get extra help, talk to your teachers, or do whatever you can to get through this hard to focus period. You are also moving through a period that is favorable for socializing but don't be lead astray by friends. With transiting Neptune sitting on your Venus in your 5th house you could easily end up in a sorrowful situation. The best outlet for you during this period is one that is creative.
