Hello Eugenia!

I'm a female Aquarian with a Sagittarius moon and Pisces ascendant. I'm wondering what to do with my life. I quit work last December because, while I was good at what I was doing, I wasn't happy. I'm wondering if I should push myself in a more creative direction, but money is tight. I'm actually terrified of what I think I want - my family and friends would not like it, also, I've grown accustomed to using hope as an excuse to look forward to the future: Maybe one day I'll be doing something I like and getting rewarded for it.

I think life would be much easier if we were born with little instruction books which told us our life expectancy, where to find our partners, how many children we might have - if any, what job we were designed for and a step-by-step breakdown of our destiny; maybe wanting instructions is laziness, but I'm exhausted from living. I probably think too much. I went for a reading recently and I was told that I need to take a break... but I am taking a break and it's not helping me figure anything out.

Any clues to what's eating me or where I should go, what I should do?

Hello Aquarius

You aren't the only Aquarius who is confused right now but nothing so serious that a little creativity and following your dreams can't fix. We were all born with what I like to call a road map of our lives. That is what an astrological chart is. You my friend were born with a splash chart and that makes you quite capable of doing many different things. You are coming into lots of changes over the next few years especially where vocation, studying and traveling to distant lands are concerned. Your chart indicates many creative interests in which entertaining is one of them. You are the one who holds yourself back - no one else. You must be true to yourself and pursue the type of career that will make you happy. If you read my work on a regular basis you have probably heard me say many times that the prerequisite to happiness is doing the right thing at the right time for you.

You are coming into your first Saturn return next year and this is what I refer to as the maturing time in a person's life. It is very common for you to be reevaluating your life and your future direction. This is a pivotal period, a time to size up what you have done with your life up until this point and what the possibilities are for the future. This is your decision - no one else's and you have to make the alterations that will please you the most. If you want to pursue something creative the next couple of years is the time to do so. Don't look back too long or you will waste the opportunity to follow your heart. Take the plunge and give yourself a chance to find your niche. The worst case scenario is not trying to achieve your dreams and looking back in fifteen years when you go through your second half-life Saturn and you say to yourself could of, should of would of. Don't fall victim to having regrets because you didn't take the initiative - just do it - the time is right.

Article: Moving Forward

Dear Eugenia

On 19th April 2000 my husband committed suicide. He was undergoing severe depression because of his unemployment and his lack of means of supporting me and our 5 year old boy. We used to live with my family. My family wanted me to divorce him but I had decided to live separate with him so I could give my marriage a chance. The apartment was almost ready, and we were supposed to shift shortly. I had even spoken to my brother and had a job arranged for him. Yet two days before shifting, when I had gone to the apartment to set up things, I found my husband dead in the same apartment. What I need to know now is, why did he have to do such a thing when he knew that I am coming to live with him. His job was also fixed...This one question is really eating me up. I need to know the answer if I have to get on with my life. I was born September 5, 1968 at 9 AM and he was born March 20, 1962, at 9 AM.

Your husband?s chart indicated that he had been under great duress for the past several years. He was disappointed in himself and what he had become. He was a deeply sensitive man that had trouble accepting what he considered to be failure. The last thing he would have wanted to do was hurt or you down. He was not thinkingclearly and with having a tendency to take drastic measures when he didn?t know how to handle a situation unfortunately the end result was fatal. You on the other hand have a strong chart. This is something that probably attracted him to you in the first place. You are coming into a much higher cycle and it is time to put the past behind you. You owe it to yourself and to your son to move forward in a positive manner. Your chart indicates that you will meet interesting people that will influence you in many ways over the course of this year. You need to get out and do things that are worthwhile. By doing so you will find it much easier to move on. New relationships are likely to develop this year however I suggest that you take your time and build a solid friendship first. You match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio and Capricorn. You did not submit your son?s birth data, however I can tell from your chart that he is confused and suffering right now and that he needs you to spend additional time with him. Try to join groups or clubs that include him as well. If you stick together you will both overcome the nightmare that you have been forced to endure.

Dear Eugenia,

I was born on May 7 1967 at 3.30pm.
I am 35 years old and have been a working single parent of 4 children for the past 18 months. I have come to the stage in my life where I now have to work out what to do in terms of either re-educating or trying to get a new job which will provide a better income for the children and I.My gut feeling is to move away from the district we are living in and to either go to Tech or find a new job. I know my children will be alright but do I have the courage and will I cope financially if I go with my instincts. I normally feel very positive but at the moment I feel swamped with all sorts of negative energy!!! Also if I move will happiness come and maybe a secure relationship? thank you for your time.

Your chart indicates that opportunities for both learning and changing jobs look quite good over the course of the next year. If you could get a job that offered an apprenticeship that would work as well, or one that would send you on courses that would enable you to raise your skills as well as your earning potential. Regarding a move I really don't see that as being all that easy before the summer of next year. For now I believe that if you do move it will be difficult. If you are planning to go back to school and must move in order to do so that is probably why it your chart indicates that the year ahead will be a tedious time for you. I would suggest that you try to pick up additional skills through night school or the other options I suggested so that you can continue to hold down a job and support your family. As for a relationship I believe you may meet someone if you move, travel or through educational pursuits. Keep your eyes opened as there are potential partners in the offing.
