I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I was born January 9th, 1968 at 10:00 P.M. It seems that too often when I read up on Capricorn, there is some type of foreboding or conflict pending, especially of late. Is there some sort of alignment somewhere creating this, and if so when will it change for the better. I have taken on a new business venture that is growing, but there seems to have been a great deal of obstacles slowing things down along the way. I was going insane emotionally and mentally, and so was my partner, who couldn't understand (as a witness), why there were so many delays with so much input on my part. My relationship suffered because of it. Do you know what's going on out there?

Well yes indeed there have been a couple of transiting planets (Saturn and Jupiter) playing havoc with your sign and to top it off other parts of your chart have also been afflicted by Uranus and Neptune as well. One of the most important transits that moved into your chart last fall and will remain with you until late this fall can cause you to expand too fast, take on too much etc so it is important that you don't move or grow too quickly. Transiting Saturn has been moving through the sign Cancer your polar opposite and this can cause limitations, frustrations, setback and obstacles which is exactly what you have been experiencing. This transit will be moving off your chart mid summer bringing you some relief. In the late fall when Jupiter moves into the sign Scorpio for approximately one year you will find that the tables will begin to turn in your favor in many different areas of your life from business to personal. Capricorns are very self-sufficient so they tend to move along even through the difficult times fixing things along the way. You didn't include your partners birth data however I'm sure he or she will be glad to hear that you do have better times heading your way. The area of your chart that deals with partnerships has been experiencing grief as well however this should begin to clear up the second half of this year and throughout next so you should be able to make amends.

I have recently made a drastic change in my life, largely due to a relationship with a Gemini born 6/1/40.I am a Leo, born 8/4/45, at 7:44 AM. There seemed to be a sort of karmic intuition between us and we became close friends. Having many things in common; except that I am open, expressive and he is guarded emotionally and reserved, preventing a romance to come to fruition, though attraction and deep feelings were present for both of us.
Together, we decided that we would relocate as we were looking for the same sort of change in our lives. I sold my house and explored a couple of areas we were both interested in while he was dealing with some unfinished business. I believe he has Pisces rising, as he can be very nebulous and contradictory and procrastinating at times. Anyway, at the last minute, 6/20/00, he said he didn't want to do this together. I feel extremely betrayed, but more so rather stupid and confused. We had planned to work together in some sort of outreach ministry. I have had to proceed with my own move to another state without the support I felt I needed to do this. I have not heard from him. I guess what I want to know is, can this move and drastic change ultimately be beneficial for me or should I consider moving back home. I have been drawn to men who hurt me and he certainly is one of them. I am trying to change that pattern and get some spiritual healing for this. Your chart indicates that you are sensitive, loving and warm and those qualities although wonderful to have can leave you vulnerable when it comes to relationships. Your comparison with your Gemini friend wasn't' bad but you must know that they can be extremely flippant at the best of times. This is a man who is going through a questionable period. You could ask him the same question two days in a row and get a different answer therefore I wouldn't rule him out. The comparison was okay but I also believe that you can do better. Regarding the move he has enough Cancer and Taurus in his chart to make it difficult for him to pick up and leave. In some ways he is torn between the Gemini Peter Pan quality that makes him want to jump at the chance to do things and the Cancer/Taurus looking for stability and roots. As for you, the move was probably good. It got you away from him. You will be in a high cycle regarding love, romance and partnerships (both business and emotional) as we approach the summer of next year. Don't waste your time playing with someone who can't get it together. Although it is likely that people from your past will come back into your life at that time you are best to look forward and move on to new people, possibly places and certainly new directions. You match up well to those born under the signs Leo, Scorpio and Capricorn.

I would like to say how inspiring and insightful I find www.astroadvice.com. I regularly visit, to guide me in my day to day activities and to avoid any unpleasant situations, this has allowed me to live very happily and to be more focused.
I am considering getting married to my partner (6.5.67)Taurus.
When we met it was as though fate had brought us together and that everything that we both had wished for in a partner, had come true. Being together for almost 4 years we had to climb mountains and brave the dragons to reach the stars. And we both feel that it is fate that has given us the ability to strengthen the love we share. Side by side we share a dream.
I received a reading suggesting my partner betrayed me, I have expressed my concerns with him and he denies any such thing. But my intuition is shouting at me to investigate this further. Any insights you could share with me would be helpful in putting my thoughts into perspective so I can proceed with my plans.

I must say that I believe you are overreacting and if you continue to do so your Taurus friend may get fed up and start to hide things from you for fear that you will overreact once again. There are usually several ways of interpreting a reading. I would assume that it had to do with transiting Neptune opposing your natal Moon. This can also mean that you are deceiving yourself at an emotional level. When writing short readings it is difficult to include all the alternatives. The comparison you have with your partner is okay but there wasn't a great amount of interaction between the two charts. You have to question whether this is your soul mate or just someone you have a close and comfortable connection to. If you are happy with the friendship you have built together so be it however if you are accusing him of betraying you I feel that you have greater problems. You are heading into your Saturn return and this will make you reevaluate your life and your motives. If you have questions about your partner now you should consider open and honest communication before you drive a wedge between the two of you.
