I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I was born January 9th, 1968 at 10:00 P.M. It seems that too often when I read up on Capricorn, there is some type of foreboding or conflict pending, especially of late. Is there some sort of alignment somewhere creating this, and if so when will it change for the better. I have taken on a new business venture that is growing, but there seems to have been a great deal of obstacles slowing things down along the way. I was going insane emotionally and mentally, and so was my partner, who couldn't understand (as a witness), why there were so many delays with so much input on my part. My relationship suffered because of it. Do you know what's going on out there?

Well yes indeed there have been a couple of transiting planets (Saturn and Jupiter) playing havoc with your sign and to top it off other parts of your chart have also been afflicted by Uranus and Neptune as well. One of the most important transits that moved into your chart last fall and will remain with you until late this fall can cause you to expand too fast, take on too much etc so it is important that you don't move or grow too quickly. Transiting Saturn has been moving through the sign Cancer your polar opposite and this can cause limitations, frustrations, setback and obstacles which is exactly what you have been experiencing. This transit will be moving off your chart mid summer bringing you some relief. In the late fall when Jupiter moves into the sign Scorpio for approximately one year you will find that the tables will begin to turn in your favor in many different areas of your life from business to personal. Capricorns are very self-sufficient so they tend to move along even through the difficult times fixing things along the way. You didn't include your partners birth data however I'm sure he or she will be glad to hear that you do have better times heading your way. The area of your chart that deals with partnerships has been experiencing grief as well however this should begin to clear up the second half of this year and throughout next so you should be able to make amends.

It's about my job. I moved to a new advertising company on March 2. I have been working in an advertising company as a copywriter.
However, because of personal reasons, I changed to the IT industry last year, Oct 2000. I thought I ran out of creativity while working in this advertising company, thus, I joined the business planning department of the IT company. Well, I'm changing again to advertising area due to financial reasons. However, since my company will be in a larger city, it's very different from the atmosphere I'm used to. Although I have settled down in the larger city, I'm afraid of facing the new environment. This new city is still not familiar to me. The new company will demand much more output from me. I'll be working as a copy-writer. I'm excited but also afraid. Can you tell me what I should be careful of? I was born February 6, 1975, at 6 AM.

You are overreacting to the situation regarding your profession and will be until the middle of June. Don't let your own insecurities stand in the way of your progress. It is good for you to be working in a place away from where you were born. You are also in a high cycle to meet new friends and partners. You must get out and socialize with colleagues so that you will feel more at ease in the city. Your chart indicates that you will do very well and feel more relaxed and comfortable in your job beginning the last half of this year. Believe in yourself and your ability and so will those around you. You have the talent so don't be afraid to let others see what you are capable of doing.

I have known this boy which I will call J for about 2 years. I knew him from the time I accidentally knocked him down with my bicycle and sent him to the hospital. We have been dating since. However, everyone despises him because he has a scar on his forehead. My father (my mum's passed away) is sure that he was once a gangster and declared that he would not let me be with a gangster. The problem is, I know he is not a gangster and that he got the scar when he was 6 years old through an unfortunate incident but there is no way my father or anyone will change their views about him, despite the fact he's a polite and helpful man. J likes me a lot and vice versa. I could tell his sex drive is great because he always seems to be looking at me in a 'weird sort of way' but he respects my decision to remain a virgin till marriage. Recently, he suggested that we elope because my father is putting too much pressure on us which I admit but I'm still not sure. For one thing, I cannot leave my father behind just like that. But I love J a lot and would like to be with him forever. I really don't know what to do now. His birthday is 21 November, 12.01 AM and I'm a Virgo born on 19 September, 1982, at 4:37 AM. You didn?t specify your boyfriend?s year of birth and that can make my assessment difficult. However, I can tell you that honesty is the best policy and that you should sit down and talk to your father. Let him know how strongly you feel and how much it means to you that he make an effort to get to know your Scorpio friend better. You have an interesting chart that shows great promise in an area that deals with your career. The next few years it will be crucial that you spend time focusing on what you want to be, and do, with the rest of your life. Educational pursuits should be your focus right now followed by a good paying job that you enjoy.
You may be a Virgo but you have a strong Libra influence and that is usually an indicator that you will be much happier throughout life if you have balance, harmony and monetary satisfaction. Without your Scorpio?s year of birth I can not tell you if he will satisfy your needs. I can tell you that he falls in an area of your chart that does denote a strong friendship. If you continue to build your friendship slowly you may eventually gain your fathers confidence in your relationship. You might also consider listening to why your father?s negativity regarding your boyfriend?s background is so strong. Maybe he knows something that you don?t.
