I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I was born January 9th, 1968 at 10:00 P.M. It seems that too often when I read up on Capricorn, there is some type of foreboding or conflict pending, especially of late. Is there some sort of alignment somewhere creating this, and if so when will it change for the better. I have taken on a new business venture that is growing, but there seems to have been a great deal of obstacles slowing things down along the way. I was going insane emotionally and mentally, and so was my partner, who couldn't understand (as a witness), why there were so many delays with so much input on my part. My relationship suffered because of it. Do you know what's going on out there?

Well yes indeed there have been a couple of transiting planets (Saturn and Jupiter) playing havoc with your sign and to top it off other parts of your chart have also been afflicted by Uranus and Neptune as well. One of the most important transits that moved into your chart last fall and will remain with you until late this fall can cause you to expand too fast, take on too much etc so it is important that you don't move or grow too quickly. Transiting Saturn has been moving through the sign Cancer your polar opposite and this can cause limitations, frustrations, setback and obstacles which is exactly what you have been experiencing. This transit will be moving off your chart mid summer bringing you some relief. In the late fall when Jupiter moves into the sign Scorpio for approximately one year you will find that the tables will begin to turn in your favor in many different areas of your life from business to personal. Capricorns are very self-sufficient so they tend to move along even through the difficult times fixing things along the way. You didn't include your partners birth data however I'm sure he or she will be glad to hear that you do have better times heading your way. The area of your chart that deals with partnerships has been experiencing grief as well however this should begin to clear up the second half of this year and throughout next so you should be able to make amends.

First, I enjoy your website and read the daily scope every day. I am married for the second time to a Sagittarius [12/5/1946] who is incapable of returning my love. As we approach retirement, I find that I am unable to look forward to any happiness while I am with this person. He is at the same time, dependent on me financially, ignores me in public, blocks all emotion and has an addiction to alcohol and he refuses to deal with it. I am wondering if I were to cut the ties, let him go, will he be able to recover? He is so good at hiding his emotions, I am not sure whether he has them or not. Additionally, I have not had a fortunate family life, either as a child, or as an adult. If I were to divorce this man, is there any hope of finding happiness with anyone else? The comparison was not that great however there were signs that when you originally got together there was some passion and good times. Your husband does not have an addictive chart in the sense that he can't recover but he does have some strong psychological problems that I believe will require serious counseling. This is probably why he is drowning his sorrows or poor me syndrome in alcohol. Unfortunately for him this is his problem and he is the only one who can solve it. I suggest that you get out and do so now. Make sure that you cover yourself legally and don't be afraid to use the word abusive relationship when you go to your lawyer. Your husband has been abusive by ignoring you to the point that you don't have a loving or even caring relationship. This is a lonely situation to end up in. You will be in a high cycle regarding love next year so I suggest that you get yourself out of this situation as soon as possible so that you have time to reorganize your life, discover what like to do, who you are as a single person and what you want in a partner. You match up to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio and Capricorn. Get moving and good luck.

I am a Sagittarius (born on 25th November, 1956 at 19hrs 50min. One and half months ago I came across a girl (about 24 yr. old) in the bus I travel regularly to reach my office. I am deeply attracted to her. I have come across a number of beautiful girls in my life but none could touch my heart like that. I took it as a minor disturbance and felt that I would be normal soon.
SHE SMILES AT ME AT THE FIRST LOOK OF THE DAY AND IGNORES ME THEREAFTER TILL NEXT DAY.
We get down from the bus at the same stop. She follows her own route as if no one is around to notice. Gradually, I developed a strong desire to talk to her and make a proposal for friendship (? I don't know). She could read my feelings through my eyes (I believe) and completely ignored me for a week but continued the usual practice of smile and ignore. I am just not getting any chance; I could not dare to talk to her. I BELIEVE I WOULD BE EASED OF THE MENTAL PRESSURE ONCE I TALK TO HER IRRESPECTIVE OF THE OUTCOME FROM THE DISCUSSION. One day, I followed her on getting down from the bus in order to know what is on her mind.
She walked at an unusually brisk pace on noticing me following her. After a while, she turned back, looked at me and almost ran away.
I COULD CLEARLY SEE FEAR IN HER FACE and thus the pressure further built upon in me.THE PROBELM IS THAT I find it impossible to keep my mind off of her. Since my efforts express myself and to know her ideas failed, I became restless and reckless towards my duties at office and at home. Though I know, it is extremely dangerous for my survival in this materialistic world, I find it impossible to concentrate on my work. My best efforts to keep her away from my mind have failed. I planned to take a different bus in order to avoid her but as the day falls on I fall back, become weak and take the same bus.
In Asia the relationship between opposite sexes are sensitive and restricted. I fear loss of prestige, social boycott and thrashing if I chase (?) her.
I am married. I am fortunate to have a very caring and beautiful wife.
We are blessed with two cute kids. I have no regrets at domestic life. Everything at home is cordial and I love my wife very much. That girl is married too and I don't know about her married life

Not knowing when this young female was born I can't tell you what she is thinking but by looking at your chart I do know how confused and mixed up you are right now. Your chart indicates that you are reading far too much into her smiles. You are going through a period that indicates sorrow where love and romance are concerned. It represents one-sided romantic infatuations and these can only lead to depression. You need to pull yourself together and get on with your life. If you follow your desires you will end up in trouble and that might not only be with her but with your family and the authorities as well. You must back off and focus on what's important, your wife, your children and your job.
