For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

My life has totally turned upside down the last 4-5 years; I hope that I am finally on the right course. I just landed a new job (was unemployed) for a while. A man that I thought cared about me totally up and left me (6/29/50) and I have kicked an alcohol addiction. I found out that nobody except one person was there for me. Am I on the right course now? For the past few months my horoscope keeps telling me "this is the best time for romance", "You are going to find you soul mate" "This is your year".
Well I don't see anything happening. I am gay and my ex who is a Scorpio (Nov.12, 1959) is still on mind. I go out to meet people but no one seems to catch my attention. Lets address your past relationship first. You did match up in a number of ways but emotionally it was taxing to say the least. I believe that this was a karmic connection and that is why it is so hard to let it go. That being said it is probably time to stop reliving something that is already dealt with and finished. You are going through a period in your chart that is making you think about people from your past but that doesn't mean that you should be trying to back track. Although it is a good year for most Gemini's regarding love with transiting Jupiter moving through Libra I have to say that for you it is good for traveling, socializing, doing things that are creative, making new friends from different backgrounds and so forth but when it comes to love with your natal Venus in the sign Cancer you are a little ahead of yourself. At the end of this year transiting Jupiter will be moving into the passionate and compatible sign Scorpio making next year your year for finding true love so don't give up hope. If you let your heart rule your head when it comes to professional direction or success you will lose focus and therefore not achieve as much. I believe that you can also have a problem when it comes to getting along with some of your colleagues and that you will have to watch your back when you are in a competitive situation. You will always do best in an authoritative position and will find it difficult to work within the confines of an organization that controls how far you can go. Be creative and work hard and you will probably end up working for yourself and being quite successful, happy and satisfied.
