I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

My life has totally turned upside down the last 4-5 years; I hope that I am finally on the right course. I just landed a new job (was unemployed) for a while. A man that I thought cared about me totally up and left me (6/29/50) and I have kicked an alcohol addiction. I found out that nobody except one person was there for me. Am I on the right course now? I don't think I could handle any more setbacks; they have been too much for me? Why did Mr. Cancer leave? How does career/job prospects look for the future? Your advice would be most appreciated. You have been through a rough time for someone who has as much Libra in her chart as you do. Although you are probably overreacting a little this year I do believe that you can but the past behind you. Job prospects continue to look good so if you are looking to advance or to change from one position to another or upgrade to help you move up the professional ladder now is the perfect time to do so. Focus on your work and you will tabularize your life even more. Regarding love you are in a high cycle right now girl so get out and do things you enjoy or answer personal adds in your local financial newspaper or consider joining a dating service and you will meet Mr. Right. Mr. Cancer on the other hand was not the right man for you. The comparison was bad and I believe that this connection was a hindrance to you not an opportunity. I have in the last several years come out of my denial as a person and become more conscious. In the past however, I have not always made the best choices in relationships. I either stayed too long or left too soon. I am attractive and interesting but am wondering if astrologically there will be better times in the future for relationships than the present. Things seem to be difficult for love and money at this time. In the past things seemed to happen more naturally but now I just seem to be sitting on the "fence of life" When will I jump off. I was born July 27, 1951, at 5:30 AM.

You are going through a period that can cloud your perception especially where relationships are concerned and therefore sitting on the fence may not be a bad idea for now. You can however put your efforts into areas that are positive in your life. Consider making new friends by getting involved in organizations you believe in. Perhaps volunteering to help campaign for a political group. You need to be spending time with others and that doesn't mean looking for love. Building solid friendships is where it's at for you right now. That can be with either gender. You will be in a much higher cycle regarding love during the fall of next year and throughout the first half of 2002. You should also make some creative changes to your living quarters. Consider initiating a move or redecorating. This will lift your spirits. When it comes to finding love you match up to the signs Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces.

Your chart indicates that you are extremely hard to diagnose and this is why the doctors are having so much trouble finding out what's wrong. Trial and error will be required but you must not rely on one doctor's opinion. Although I do believe that you can and will get better I'm afraid that you will have to go through a couple of difficult years. You are headed into a period that indicates limitations, feeling fatigued and being run down. It will be important that you get your rest and that you have the doctor's check your heart for any defects that may have developed or that you may have been born with. Also the chest or breast area may show some signs of infection. You do tend to worry yourself sick and must be careful not to allow this to happen. Also problems with stomach may also occur and this could be an ulcer or colitis or similar disease set off once again by stress, anxiety and fear of becoming ill. Your chart is strong and I do believe that you will land on your feet and that whatever the doctors discover it will not be as bad as you think. Unfortunately the transit causing poor diagnosis will be in your chart until February 2006 so you may find yourself going through a lot between now and then. My suggestion is to work on stress management and if you are diagnosed with a stomach, chest or heart problem that you go to several specialists until you find the one who can put you on the right medication. One of the most difficult problems with this type of transit that you are going through is that quite often the wrong medication is what makes you sicker. The other area that the doctors should check out is that you may have an allergy to something around you or to a medication they prescribe. Know in your heart that your natal chart is good and that you should be able to get through this period so stop worrying.
