Dear Eugenia,

I was born in 31 Oct. 1974 at 8:20pm. Most of my friends think that I am a strange person, sometimes cool but sometimes full of enthusiasm. They also think that I am mysterious and difficult to understand. When in reality, I am very simple. Almost all of the friends my age have married and started a new phrase in life. But I am still alone. Why can't I attract someone of the opposite sex? Is it difficult for me to find someone?

I read my astrology chart and found that most of the planets fall into the 5th house. Should I just treat love and life as a game? When it comes to love, I believe that I need to take some time to understand a person. I cannot love at first sight. But love always comes and goes at a fast pace. The guys I have been with will chase someone else once they find that their target is not right. My love affairs were always short-lived. Eugenia, I really don't want to spend another lonely Valentines Day, Christmas, birthday or other important day alone any more. I wish you would give me some suggestions and thank you for reading my letter.

You have an interesting chart that indicates that you probably have lots of opportunities to meet potential partners however, you are also not likely to fall for just anyone. You will be very particular when it comes to love. Whoever you fall in love with will have to give you the freedom you need in order to exist happily within that relationship. You may appear to be uninterested in some of the partners you have had in the past and so they moved on quickly. You are coming into a high cycle next year regarding love and romance and you should be prepared to get out and meet people from May of next year on. Just because you have a lot of planets in the 5th house doesn't mean that you shouldn't take love seriously, it just means that you will socialize, have more to do with children, you will be creative or you may enjoy gambling. This makes you more youthful and fun-loving then most people and there is nothing wrong with that. Your chart also indicates that you are not as likely to marry just anyone at a young age. You will want to get to know your partner well before you will settle down. You match up well to those born under the signs Aries, Taurus, Virgo and Pisces. Stop being so hard on yourself. Dear Eugenia,

I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships. Article: What About the Stars?

Dear Eugenia

I have been struggling with a conflict for a few days now, and I'd like to know what the stars have to say about it; I have to write my medical school admissions test soon, and my husband is very much against me doing it. I have been working for four years towards this goal, and now I am at this roadblock. My husband's birthday is Oct. 21, 1979. I don't know his time of birth; mine is July 19, 1979, at 3:00 AM. I want some advice regarding the possible decisions I can make.

You have to follow your heart. You are in a high cycle where educational pursuits are concerned and if you don't proceed you will end up blaming your husband later on. If he isn't secure enough within himself, you and your relationship you must question what you are doing with him. He should be supportive, positive and willing to help you through. Instead he is trying to stand in your way and hold you back. You will do well in the medical field and must not pass up an opportunity to satisfy your professional dreams. Your husband's chart indicates that he can be possessive and I would imagine that regardless of the reasons he is giving you for not pursuing your educational goals he is more afraid that you will outgrow him. Don't be one of those people who looks back and says "what if" or "should have, would have, could have". Just do it.
