I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I was born in 31 Oct. 1974 at 8:20pm. Most of my friends think that I am a strange person, sometimes cool but sometimes full of enthusiasm. They also think that I am mysterious and difficult to understand. When in reality, I am very simple. Almost all of the friends my age have married and started a new phrase in life. But I am still alone. Why can't I attract someone of the opposite sex? Is it difficult for me to find someone?
I read my astrology chart and found that most of the planets fall into the 5th house. Should I just treat love and life as a game? When it comes to love, I believe that I need to take some time to understand a person. I cannot love at first sight. But love always comes and goes at a fast pace. The guys I have been with will chase someone else once they find that their target is not right. My love affairs were always short-lived. Eugenia, I really don't want to spend another lonely Valentines Day, Christmas, birthday or other important day alone any more. I wish you would give me some suggestions and thank you for reading my letter.

You have an interesting chart that indicates that you probably have lots of opportunities to meet potential partners however, you are also not likely to fall for just anyone. You will be very particular when it comes to love. Whoever you fall in love with will have to give you the freedom you need in order to exist happily within that relationship. You may appear to be uninterested in some of the partners you have had in the past and so they moved on quickly. You are coming into a high cycle next year regarding love and romance and you should be prepared to get out and meet people from May of next year on. It is Easter today...just another day...like any other. Please let me explain: In March 1990 my husband was operated on for a giant brain-aneurysm...he lived...had a massive stroke and was hospitalized and ended up in a wheelchair and months later to a quad-cane and brain damaged. He was 55 years old and I was 51 years young.
I took him home many months later and started to care for him. The doctors did not tell me about the brain injury nor the "surprise seizures".
LIFE turned into HEll.I'm so sick of all of this...I need a strong shoulder to lean on and a kind word. Would love to touch a person and walk hand in hand. A kind word, a smile, a kiss....am I asking too much???? Is there still " a bright SPOT on my horizon???"

On the good side you do live in a country that offers so many social services and it's time you went beyond family and made the next move. God put us here for a good time not a long time and I believe that no one should endure suffering at the hand of someone who is no longer in control of who he or she is or what they do. The comparison with your Leo husband wasn't the greatest to begin with and although I usually like two Leo's together in your case it wasn't the greatest. With a build up of natal planets in Virgo in an area of your chart that deals with partnerships your loyalty and determination to do what you feel is the right thing has brought you to this case scenario. All that said you must realize that you can't do it all by yourself. Your comparison with your husband indicates that you are moving into a period due to transiting Saturn and Uranus that could lead to violence on top of the verbal abuse and I strongly suggest that you get his name on a waiting list so that you can put him into a home where he will be better cared for and where you can visit him without the worry of being abused. It is time for you to get on with your life and although that doesn't mean to forget about him it does mean that you have to look out for your own interests as well. Obviously if you can not get help in the home because of the way he is you need to get him out of the house and into safe quarters where he also can continue his life in good hands and with other people who are in a similar situation. Your situation will not get better until you do something about it therefore I strongly urge you to take the next step and talk to someone who can help you place him in a good facility where he will be cared for and you will be safe.

I am a 27-year-old Pisces born February 28, 1976, at 5:30 PM and I have recently been made aware of 'Saturn Return' in my chart? This could explain my exhaustion and frustration over the last couple of years. I am tired of being self-employed, I realize it has taken away from my social life and financially I am just hanging on. I have recently interviewed for summer work to alleviate the stresses, with no luck. Though I seem at peace with life I don't have the securities my peers have, career, social and romantic stability. I do admit I would like to settle down. Is it this 'Saturn Return' that is affecting my life? Will it go away? At this point, any advice or words of hope would help.

Your Saturn return hasn't begun yet. Although you will start to feel the impact of your Saturn return over the next year it will actually have the strongest affect on you between late August of next year (2004) and will remain with you for approximately one year ending late July 2005. During that time you will reevaluate your life and make decisions based on the way you feel about your past. It is a pivotal point in a person's life when Saturn returns. Some people do well with it because they take the initiative, make the necessary changes and proceed in a positive and upward motion. Others find it overwhelming and decide that what they have achieved is all life has to offer and that they are too old to make changes - which I might add is ridiculous and a cop out. As for you I do not see your Saturn return as being that much of a problem. Regarding what has been causing you all the friction the past several years I would have to say is transiting Uranus and Neptune moving through the sign Aquarius. You were born with your Moon, Mercury and Venus in that sign in an area of your chart that does deal with work. Unfortunately it has played havoc with you and although it isn't over yet I do believe that you will always go back to doing your own thing. You are innovative, creative and have a good chart when it comes to work and money. If you want to work for someone else that is fine. You should be able to land a decent job shortly. I might suggest however that you do try to keep your business running on the side. I feel that if you do it will pick up giving you the satisfaction you need. As for your social, personal and home life - well that is where transiting Saturn has been affecting your life the past couple of years putting a damper on relationships and in general your social life. You will be coming into a much higher cycle regarding such matters as transiting Saturn moves into the sign Cancer coupled with Uranus which has just moved briefly into the sign Pisces opening up all sorts of new opportunities and changes regarding both business and personal partnerships.
