For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

What does being on the cusp mean? Sometimes I'm shown as a Gemini, sometimes Cancer. Although I think I lean more towards Gemini. I was born June 21, 1961 at 1 AM.

According to your chart you are born under the sign Gemini if the time of birth is accurate set at 1 AM, however, if you were born at 10:31 AM or after on the 21st you are a Cancer by Sun Sign. Don't put too much onus on being one sign or the other. It is the entire package that makes you who you are and helps determine your direction. The time of birth is however very important as a chart changes every four minutes and for someone like me to be accurate I need specific data.
Your natal Mercury (the planet that deals with the way you think and communicate) is in the sign Cancer so that is why you are leaning toward that sign. Your chart also indicates that you have a very strong Leo and Virgo influence with a little Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius and Taurus thrown into the mix to make you the person you are.
For the record - if born before 10:31 AM you can call yourself a Gemini if after a Cancer.

May I borrow a cup of Insight? I am a young man, but not getting any younger from what I've seen... I had hopes that you might answer a question or two for me...
Contrary to popular belief, I'm somewhat introverted, and having difficulty finding the all-mysterious "soul mate" that I've heard that everyone has. Any possible chance that some of Us don't necessarily have one? Or, am I approaching this the wrong way?
Equally as important, I'm working towards becoming an artist, that is saying, a paid artist...Any possible chance that this is the correct career path for me? I greatly enjoy creating the pieces of work that I do, just not one hundred percent for certain that it's going to be profitable for me to try to continue on a professional basis.
So, what do you think? Do I need help or what? I was born May 16, 1976 at 12:24 am.

You have your Saturn return coming your way and there is no doubt that the questioning has already begun. Your first Saturn return is what we refer to in astrology as the maturing time in your life. You will reevaluate and consider your options as well as make decisions whether to stay put because you think you are too old already to make changes or you will stand up take the initiative and turn your life upside down in search of your goals. For you I believe the main area of change will be professionally. I consider the arts as my salvation as well and cannot imagine working in any other field but for many years I had to work a job that wasn't satisfying in order to support my addiction to my art. I do believe that you belong in the arts and that you are talented and will eventually make your way and be successful. However, if you must take on other projects in order to make money do so but try to keep them in the same venue. In other words if you are a painter try to work at a gallery, a musician - try to work at a recording company and so forth. That way you can and will turn your dream into a reality. You are in a high cycle regarding work for the next five years and yes you should be taking the road less traveled or the unusual route. As for love and having a soul mate I am of the belief that we each have at least 11 almost perfect matches on the planet but they are not always that easy to find. In your case I believe you match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces. You have been in a good cycle regarding meeting partners but I believe that you have also been going through a very self-deceptive period when it comes to what you want. You answered me (March 6,1982, 1:18 PM) last in 2005 - and you told me that the new Virgo in my life (Aug 30 1971, 15:25) might prove to be something special, and you were right! On New Year's Eve he has asked me to marry him. I live in Spain, he lives in Sweden - and I am planning to move to Sweden by the end of 2007, and trying to get a form of scholarship and do my masters in English. I graduated in English literature in 2005 and am doing a masters in Spanish now. I still have so many past issues and insecurities I have to deal with and am seeing a therapist because I am afraid my insecurities will harm this relationship, which I really feel blessed with! I read in the yearly horoscopes that came out that the eclipses would mean relationship endings, as well as Saturn staying for 2 years, as well as Saturn entering Virgo - I feel scared. I am always scared and mistrustful. I am about to embark on something new - finally someone stable, loving and trustworthy has come into my life and I love him so much! - And yet I am so full with fears!
